Remnant's Furon Invasion

Chapter 2

'Hmmm. A little green man talking a hologram. I better follow them.' A crow thought, perched on a tree branch. Once the two... creatures were out of sight, it flapped its wings before flying after them.

Two Hours Later

"Does the concept of ammo conversation ring any bell to you, Crypto?" Pox asked, annoyed, as Crypto disintegrated a Megoliath with his Disintegrator Ray while using his Temporal Fist to throw a Death Stalker off into the distance. However, while the height and fall won't kill it, the two ion detonators that Crypto forced down its throat will.

"Nope." Crypto answered, causing Pox to sigh.

"It truly is a wonder that you never ran out of ammo during a fight."

"You know, I've been thinking, Pox."

"Truly, a rare moment."

"How come we haven't seen any humans or, um... the other kinds yet? You know, the ones with animal features."

"Faunus. And the reason is simple: The Grimm. Despite this world's attempts to fill out the map, the Grimm have thwarted them at nearly every chance. Now, they focus on surviving and eliminating any Grimm to come near any village or kingdom. But that doesn't mean they haven't given up."

"Hmm. These Grimm might be a problem if we decide to take over the planet and use it to harvest Furon DNA."

"Only if it resorts to that. Remember, our goal right now is to find if our ancestors left behind intact and viable sources of pure Furon DNA. If they did, we simply grab it and return to the mothership. You can then return to what you call work while I fix the cloning process."

"And if not?"

"We'll see if the people's DNA fused with our Furon DNA. If yes, then we'll harvest their DNA like we did on Earth. But if that is the case, I'll get to work on a more effective way of ending the Grimm plague permanently."

"And it includes some of the shiny new upgrades you have in store, right, Pox?"

"For some of the ones that are harder to kill and make them stay down, yes. But aside from that, your weaponry is more than sufficient to take care of them. That is if you don't run out of ammo."

"Don't worry, Pox. I will make sure I only use the necessary amount of ammo to kill these vile creatures who are somehow uglier than the Blisk."

"I doubt that." Pox said, glad he was already working on upgrades so Crypto wouldn't run out of ammo during a fight. Even though his apprentice knew transmogrify, Pox knew it was only a matter of time. After a few more minutes of walking, they reached a cliff that overlooked a base not too far away. "Anyway, we're here."

"Huh. Are you sure they are on par with technology back on Earth? Or even capable of fighting?" Crypto asked, confused, as he looked at the base. While Earth's bases were pathetic and immensely inferior to those of the Furon Empire, they still seemed at least somewhat structured and organized. But this seemed like a ramshackle of different things thrown together. And there was no semblance of order. All the Faunus seemed to be running around like the Earth people after he shot them with the Anal probe. "Cause they don't seem like it."

"That's because this "base" does not belong to any official government or military organization."

"So, who does it belong to?"

"A terrorist group called the White Fang."

"They're not even trying anymore with the names, are they?"

"I doubt they even tried to begin with." Pox answered. Initially, he thought his scanners and computers needed to be adjusted when they returned with the names. Yet, even after doing so several times, the data was correct.

"So, what's the plan here, Pox? Do I go in and start blasting away? Or do we have to do this the less fun way?"

"The less fun way, Crypto. We need to ensure the technology is intact. Or find out where they could have sent it."

"Alright. Would have preferred it the other way since it's easier and quicker. But oh well, can't have everything."

Turning back to the base, Crypto scanned the area to find out who he could body snatch. Luckily, these White Fang grunts were even more disorganized than the soldiers from Earth were. Using his jetpack, Crypto flew down the cliff and in between the trees to ensure he wasn't seen with Pox's device returning to the saucer. However, as soon they were out of sight, another raven flew to the cliff's edge. But what was different about this was the smell of alcohol coming from it. Once it landed, it changed form to that of a male with graying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. He wore a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. But what stood out the most was the giant scythe he was wielding.

"Hmm. I never thought I would live to see the day when aliens came to visit. But they don't seem friendly. I better tell Ozpin and Ironwood about this. *Sigh* I picked a hell of a time to quit drinking." Qrow said before changing back into a raven and leaving toward Beacon Academy. However, he made sure to take a photo of the alien with his scroll before doing so.

Five Minutes Later

"Finally. A moment to rest. Hopefully, we finish soon so we can get the hell out of here. I can't wait to take a proper hot shower and not just dump cold water from the river." A White Fang member said as she rested her weapon on the ground before sitting at the base of a tree. However, her eyes snapped open when her squirrel ears picked up the sounds of something landing nearby. Yet, she became confused when she saw a strange-looking creature walking toward her while holding an even stranger-looking gun that glowed yellow. "Uh. Halt. Who goes there? State your purpose."

"Oh, I'm just a little weary traveler looking for directions in search of his destination. But I think I found the perfect person who will help me, sweet cheeks." Crypto said, creepily eyeing the White Fang's body while rubbing his hands together.

"Ugh. Get away from me, you freak. And like hell, I would help you." The White Fang member said, getting up.

"Oh, I'm not asking. You're doing it. You're going to help me." Crypto said before using his body snatch ability on the White Fang member. She tried to resist it, but it was fruitless as she only lasted only a second before Crypto gained control of her body. 'Crypto' blinked a few times before shaking the legs and limbs of the White Fang member. "Huh. Never really got used to body-snatching females."

'Which is a wonder considering how long you spent with the females of Earth and how intimately you got with Natalya Ivanova.' Pox said over their comms.

"Heh. Those were fun times."

'Anyway. Your mission, Crypto, is to find a way inside their base and download all the data they have.

"Fine."

Adjusting the clothes, Crytpo made his human host look presentable before grabbing her 'weapon' and making her way to the base's main building. But as he made his way there, Crypto looked around to see if there was anything interesting to note. Yet, the only thing that stood out was two White Fang members playing a game of cards. However, that changed when a truck arrived and parked near the side entrance. And no sooner than it stopped, about several White Fang members rushed out while carrying large wooden boxes. Curious, Crypto walked over to them.

'Better mind scan them first.' Crypto thought before making a subtle gesture with his host's hand.

'Ugh. I must have done something awful in a past life for the Brothers Above to hate me this much. Not only did they make me a faunus, but a bloodhound faunus. I can smell everything! Seriously! I know we have to rely on the nearby river for baths, but DID NO ONE HERE EVER HEARD OF DEODORANT!' A White Fang member thought as he oversaw the other members loading the truck.

"Brothers Above?" Crypto asked himself.

'Remnant's primary religion. There are others, but they are not as widespread as this one. While I'm still collecting data, the Brothers Above refer to the God of Darkness and God of Light. And before you say anything, their names make sense this time, given their backstory. And they are actually brothers.' Pox explained.

"Eh. At least this one seems straightforward compared to the ones we saw on Earth. Do they ever fight over whose belief is stronger?"

'Not to my knowledge or any records I have secured thus far. There may have been one or two battles, but nothing like on Earth.'

"Alright. Time to scan the next monkey."

'Corned beef sandwich. Corned beef sandwich. Corned beef sandwich.' The White Fang member receiving the boxes from inside the truck thought.

"You don't think."

'Let's just move on to the next one.' Pox said.

"Yeah." Crypto said before looking around to see who else he could Cortext Scan. But an excellent target quickly came up in the form of the lone White Fang member guarding a not-so-hidden emergency door. Getting close, Crypto gave a small wave.

'Alright, alright. You can do this, Azeil. No one needs to know this is your first day. Just keep your mouth shut and mind your own business until Eloise says something. And if you need to enter the main building, just remember the password: Kerensky.' The member nervously thought.

'Kenersky? Not sure if the person who created it is egotistical or not, but I can say it's better than the other password that group used on Earth.' Pox said.

"But not by much. Either way, we got the password. Let's head inside." Crypto said.

Turning away from the gasbags, Crypto looked around to see if there was anything else he could see before entering the main building. However, the only other buildings were storage, a cafeteria, and the barracks. And while the storage did seem interesting, Crypto knew it probably only held supplies like food, water, and ammo. Moreover, he could always check it out once he finished with the main building. Shrugging, Crypto headed to the main building, where two members stood guard.

"Hold it right, there, Eloise. What's the password?" The Ram faunus on the left demanded.

"Kerensky." Crypto confidently said.

"Alright. You can head inside, Eloise." The Elk faunus on the right said as they stepped to the side.

"Just remember to log in and out if you decide to use the computers. We need to keep track of everything, so we can't take any risk." The Ram faunus said.

"Alright. Thanks for reminding me..." Crypto said as he entered the building with the doors closing behind him. "Suckers."

'I wonder why they need to keep track of everything.' Pox said.

"Do you have a... what do the humans call it... a brain gas leak, Pox? They are transporting a lot of supplies. They obviously don't want to lose anything."

'Honestly, I'm surprised no one managed to trick you yet. They said they didn't want to take any risk. Naturally, when it comes to transporting anything, you need a logbook or stock book to keep track of your inventory. But from how they said it, it seems like they only recently implemented an inventory management system. And that's got me curious as to why.'

"Maybe they just got a new boss."

'Perhaps. But let's head to the computers. From there, we can get our answers.'

"Alright. Alright. Now, where could the computers be in this dump?" Crypto asked, looking around. But his gaze stopped when he saw a sign that said the computers were straight ahead. "Heh. Convenient."

Smirking at how easy this was, Crypto walked down the hallway and past all the rooms. And every now and then, he would peek inside one of the rooms to see if there was anything worth his attention. Yet, aside from the occasional sleeping faunus, the rooms were typically empty. Although, Crypto did shut the door when he saw a mouse faunus doing something with his food. But for most of the trip, Crypto went unnoticed. However, twice, two random White Fang members did stumble upon him. Yet, a quick Protect PK suggestion turned them into loyal bodyguards. After a couple of minutes, they reached the entrance to the computer room. Unfortunately, a couple of guards were there.

"Eloise? You're back?" An Eagle Faunus said, surprised.

"Didn't you just leave moments ago?" The Mouse Faunus asked, confused.

"Uh, yeah, I did. But I need to double-check something. You know, for security reasons and not taking a risk about the cargo." Crypto explained.

"The cargo? That job belongs to Kalvin. And he already did it hours ago." The Eagle Faunus said.

"He did. And he told me about it. But he also asked that I double-check it. You know, just to be safe. We can't afford any slip-ups."

"Something is not adding up here. If you don't mind, Eloise, I'll call Kalvin to ask him." The Mouse Faunus said, reaching for her radio.

"No, you don't." Crypto said before waving 'his' hand in front of him in an almost mocking manner. "You two want to dance."

"Wait. What?" The Eagle Faunus said, confused. But before either faunus could say anything else, they started dancing in a style Crypto remembered the humans calling the Swing.

"Heh, heh. Too easy." Crypto said before grabbing the security card and using it to gain access to the computer room. Once inside, he closed the doors before heading to the main computer.

'Alright, Crypto. Just insert the device I gave you earlier into the slot, and I can get started.' Pox said.

"Alright." Crypto said before sliding a disc into the disc slot. "So, how long will this take?"

'Patience, Crypto. This will take but a moment.' Pox said as the disk did its work.

"Fine. But just asking, did these monkeys add any security to their computer?"

'Yes. They actually put a password. But the simpletons put the password as password.'

"Figures." Crypto said, looking around the room and spotting some security cameras. But a quick PK pull removed them from the wall, making them no longer a problem.

'And... done. Okay, I got everything they have on file.'

"What did you find, Pox?"

'Nothing much, really. All that's here are track records of their supplies, who's come and gone, who's in charge of what, and when should they expect more supplies.'

"So nothing about our ancestor's technology."

'Nothing directly. However, some of the files directly mention how the filthy vermin once used this base to study and potentially reverse engineer some foreign, never-before-seen technology.'

"They must really have low self-esteem to call themselves that."

'No, Crypto. They are referring to the humans. Sparing you the history lessons, there is a long feud between humans and faunus for obvious reasons. While some tried a more peaceful route, this current version of the White Fang chose the more extreme route.'

"Did they have any success?"

'Initially, yes. But since then, they have only lost progress.'

"Sucks to be them. But back to the technology. Do you know where it is?"

'Hmm. Not exactly. All it says here is that a piece was supposed to go to each of the four kingdoms, but one was stolen by a crime syndicate called the Spider.'

"These names are just getting worse and worse." Crypto groaned.

'Agreed.'

"So, what now?"

'There're a few nearby rivers that numerous farmers use to water their crops and give to their animals. We go there, collect some samples, then head to the farms and do the same for the animals and crops. Even though we know some FORM of our technology is here, we don't know if it is the one we're looking for. And even if it is, there is a high chance these peabrains tempered with it; if so, it is likely damaged beyond repair. So, we'll need to get a head start on seeing if any of our DNA has already merged with the people of Remnant's DNA.'

"Alright." Crytpo said, turning to his 'protectors.' But before he could do anything, the doors suddenly opened. Turning to them, Crypto saw four White Fang members rushing into the room that were led by a crazed-looking man with a robotic scorpion tail. 'Great. Visitors.'

"Eloise. What's going on? Why were the two guards outside dancing?" The guy with the scorpion tail asked, sounding annoyed.

"Nothing much. I'm just looking over a few things. And maybe they just got high, drunk, or both." Crytpo said as Pox talked to him over his comms.

'Tyrian Callows. He's a known serial killer and part of a group called Salem's Group. Many consider him to be psychotic incarnate and someone who wants to see the world burn. From his medical record, he's classified as a volatile, disturbed, maladjusted, manipulative, and outright sadistic individual. He relishes in inflicting pain on others just for the sake of hurting others.'

'Reminds me of Milenkov and, to an extent, the master.' Crypto thought.

"Like what? You know you don't have clearance to access those files. You only have access to the day logs. Not to mention, how you managed to access everything in less than a minute is something else we need to discuss. It's impossible to do it in that amount of time."

"Or so you would say. I just did it. The fact that you can't do it seems like a you problem. And besides, I did have the password to access those files." Crypto said, causing Tyrian to growl.

"Then you must have stolen it since I'm the only one who knows the password."

"That or you got drunk and forgot that you told me."

"For anyone else, that might sound believable if it weren't for the fact that we only met hours ago. Not to mention, my boss specifically told me not to give it to anyone. That means there's only one explanation left." Tyrian said while pulling out his Queen's Servants and aiming them at Crytpo. But as he did this, the two 'protectors' raised their weapons. "You're a filthy traitor, and you stole the password so you can access the files and give them to our enemies."

'Well, Crypto. It looks like you're going to need to take them out before we can leave, which shouldn't be too much trouble for you. And this just gives us more reason to destroy this pace since I was going to have you do it anyway.' Pox said.

"Good." Crytpo said before leaving his human disguise, shocking everyone in the room. "I was getting tired of this hide-and-seek shit."

"Oh, Oum. What happened?" Eloise asked, holding her head in pain.

"What?" Tyrian asked, shocked. While he was hardly surprised by anything nowadays, this was something he never could have expected. It was like something out of those movies he saw as a kid with his parents before he killed them.

"Eloise? What happened? Are you okay?" A Tiger Faunus asked, worried.

"I don't know. I was just taking a break when this weird creature came up to me and asked me to help... him." Eloise answered before realizing the same creature was standing a few feet from her. She immediately took out her weapon and aimed it at Crypto. "You! WHAT DID YOU-AAAAAHHHHHHH!"

"What are you doing to her?" A Frog Faunus asked when Eloise began screaming while holding the side of her head.

"MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT-"

*BAM*

"Just silencing her annoying screams and making sure she remains useful even after her death." Crypto answered after Eloise's head exploded, with the body falling to the floor. But what disturbed the others, except for Tyrian, was the brain that supposedly belonged to Eloise that was floating above her dead body. However, it soon floated to Crypto, who deviously smirked as he absorbed the brain. "Mmm. Faunus brain."

"What... the... fuck." The Bear faunus said, disgusted.

"Okay. Now that is just disturbing." The Tiger faunus said, causing Crypto to chuckle.

"What are you to do about it?" Crypto mocked.

"Kill you, slowly and painfully." Tyrian answered, taking a step forward. But as soon as he did, Crypto pulled out his Disintegrator Ray. "Woah. What's that?"

"This is the DI-79. But in monkey terms, it is the Disintegrator Ray. It vaporizes whatever it hits and turns them into something actually useful: ash."

"Too bad you'll never be able to use it."

"We'll see."

Cackling, Tyrian and the others charged at Crytpo with his 'protectors' ready to fight back. Yet, no sooner than they took the first step, everything froze, including time. Activating his jetpack, Crytpo flew into the air before using his PK throw ability to activate the temporal fist. And while they 'stayed' in place, the White Fang members and Tyrian moved slightly. Chuckling, Crypto readied himself for once time resumed. Once it did, Tyrian and the White Fang flew backward with enough force to fly all the way out of the building.

"What the hell was that?" The Tiger Faunus asked as they got up.

"I have no idea. But I think we're about to find out." Tyrian said as they heard the sounds of thrusters, with Crytpo appearing a second later, holding his Zap-O-Matic. Hearing footsteps, Tyrian looked around and smirked when he realized the rest of the White Fang members had gathered with their weapons. "This will be an interesting fight. I can't wait to carve my name on your forehead."

"You want to dance, monkey boy, then let's dance." Crytpo taunted.

Freezing time again, Crypto used his PK Throw to launch some boxes at the White Fang. As soon as time resumed, the boxes knocked most, and the ones that weren't were shocked to death by Cryptio's Zap-O-Matic. But despite chaining to each of the White Fang members who were unfortunately too close, Tyrian managed to evade both attacks.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" The White Fang members screamed as they electrocuted. And despite having aura, it did little to protect them as they died shortly after.

Chuckling, Crypto dashed to the side to avoid Tyrian's and the remaining White Fang's attacks before circling them. Taking out his Disintegrator Ray, Crytpo returned fire at the White Fang and Tyrian. Those unfortunate enough to get hit were turned to ash while the rest scrambled for cover. Seeing a decent amount of White Fang cowering behind some of their vehicles, Crypto pulled out his Burrow Beast gun and fired so the lure would land next to the cars. The White Fang members were confused by what looked like a lure that landed next to them. However, fear quickly replaced confusion when the ground began to tremble.

"SHIT! RUN!" A Snake faunus shouted as they all scrambled to get out of the way.

Unfortunately, they were too slow as a massive worm demon shot up from the ground. And any White Fang members that were unfortunate enough to still be standing ended up being launched into the air before falling into the worm's mouth and getting eaten alive.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" A Moose Faunus shouted, scared for his life.

"Let's get out of here!" An Eagle Faunus shouted.

Laughing, Crypto used his PK hold to grab the lure before flying around the base with it, causing the demon worm to chase after it. Enjoying the destruction but wanting to add to it, Crypto swapped his Burrow Beast gun for his Ion Detonator. And as if wanting to add insult to injuring, Crypto froze time before launching plasmatic Ion Bombs to the groups. Once time resumed, they blew up all nearby White Fang members. Turning around, Crypto saw Tyrian running to some nearby weapons.

"Oh, no, you don't." Crypto said before swapping his Iron Detnorator for his Superballer.

'Almost there.' Tyrian thought as he raced for some weapons he saw. While his Queen's Servants had little to no problem with dealing with huntsmen or other law enforcement, whatever was protecting their unwanted visitor was far stronger than aura. While he could try using his semblance, he doubted it would work. But before Tyrian could get the weapons, he felt something hit his back. And the next thing he knew, he was bouncing into the air. "WHAT THE?!"

"Have a nice bounce." Crypto laughed before ducking to avoid getting hit by a missile.

Turning around, he saw a group of White Fang members gathered around one of the few remaining intact armed vehicles. Taking out his Venus Human Trap gun, Crypto fired a spore at them, which landed under the vehicle. Thinking another worm was going to come out, the White Fang members moved out of the way before aiming their weapons where the spore landed. Yet, to their horror, a massive Venus Human Trap with vines erupted from the ground. It roared before using the vines as arms to grab the White Fang members and eat them.

"And here I thought they would actually present a challenge." Crypto said before firing a few rounds from his Disintegrator Ray at some fleeing White Fang members. While he did receive a few hits, his shield effortlessly blocked them. "Oh, well. At least they make good target practice."

'That's because the White Fang is more akin to the Mafia you faced on Earth, albeit slightly stronger and bigger as they have members and bases all over Remnant.' Pox explained.

"So who would be the threat?"

'That would primarily be the huntsmen. Not only are they trained, but they all have access to their aura and semblance, while the White Fang doesn't, for the most part. Moreover, most of their weapons will greatly put your shields to the test. There are other professions that train people to be on par or near the same level as huntsmen. I don't have the full list yet, but once it's done, I'll tell you all of them.'

"Heh. Sounds like fun. Unlike these gasbags."

"HEY! I'M STILL HERE!" Tyrian shouted, getting Crypto's attention.

"Had a good bounce, gas bag?" Crypto mocked as he descended to the ground.

"I'm going to enjoy this." Tyrian said, bring out his Queen's Servants again. And while there weren't many left, some White Fang members also appeared, carrying whatever weapons they could find.

"And I'm getting tired of this." Crypto said before taking out his Black Hole Gun.

Crypto then fired it toward the top of the building. The White Fang members and Tyrian were confused by this and grew even more confused when a massive hole appeared, as they had never seen something like this before. Yet, confusion quickly turned to pure horror as the Black Hole started sucking everything in. They all tried to grab onto something to avoid getting pulled in, but it proved futile. The only one who remained was Tyrian, who used his tail to keep him anchored to the ground, albeit barely.

"You're not getting rid of me that easily." Tyrian said.

"Don't bet on it." Crypto said before taking out his Anal Probe gun and firing a shot at Tyrian, causing him to start shitting himself. Then Crytpo took out his Disintegrator Ray and fired at Tyrian's tail, severing it from his body. With nothing to keep him in place, the Black Hole sucked Tyrian into itself before exploding and sending the brains of everyone it devoured all over the place. "Well, that was fun. So, what now, Pox?"

'As I said earlier, we go to the farms and river to collect samples.' Pox answered.

"Lead the way, Pox."

'Not so fast, Crypto. We must ensure that we cover our tracks by destroying all evidence that we were even here.'

"Don't worry. I got you, Pox." Taking out his Meteor Stike Gun, Crypto marked the building before they left the area. And no sooner than they did, a massive meteor destroyed the building and surrounding area.

'This is bad.' The first raven from before thought at seeing all the destruction the two visitors did in less than half an hour. 'I can't believe it. But I have to warn the others.'

Ninety Minutes Later

"I'm sorry, Qrow. But this seems too... highly unbelievable." Ozpin said, looking at the image of the gray alien and hologram next to him.

"Are you sure you weren't hallucinating?" Glynda asked, slightly worried.

"No. I wasn't hallucinating. I know what I saw. I even took these photos of proof." Qrow said.

"Which, while genuine-looking, could have easily been photoshopped." Winter said, glaring at Qrow and not bothering to hide her disgust at the drunk.

"You said that they landed in a flying saucer, with the occupants exiting and heading toward a nearby White Fang base." Ironwood asked.

"Yes. I would have taken a photo of the saucer or brought something back as proof, but one of the occupants returned to the sauce while the other went to the White Fang base." Qrow answered.

"Hmm. I'm sorry, Qrow. But we're going to need more proof than this." Ozpin said, causing Qrow to sigh and wish he still had his flask. But he didn't want to backtrack on all the progress he had made since he decided to quit for his nieces.

"I figured."

"But maybe there might be something at the White Fang base. And even if there isn't, it still would be good to know what they are doing or shut their operations down." Ironwood said.

"That's going to be a bit difficult." A new voice said.

"Who said that?" Glynda asked, taking out her Disciplinarian while looking around the room. But all eyes fell on the raven tapping against the window.

"Raven?" Qrow asked, surprised to see his twin sister here at Beacon. Going over to the window, he opened it to let Raven inside.

"Hello, Qrow." Raven said after changing back to her human form.

"Raven. What are you doing?"

"Yes. What are you doing here?" Winter asked with a glare.

"And why did you say it was going to be a bit difficult?" Ozpin asked.

"Simple. To investigate a place, that place still needs to be there or standing." Raven answered.

"What do you mean?" Ironwood asked, slightly confused.

"After Qrow left, I decided to continue following them. While the hologram returned to the saucer, the alien body snatched a White Fang member to get into the base. And while I was unable to see what happened inside, he must have been caught as only half an hour later, Tyrian and several White Fang members were thrown out of the building, with the alien coming out a second later. They then battle with the alien quickly wiping everyone out in a matter of minutes."

"Including Tyrian?" Winter asked.

"I'm... unsure. The alien created this portal above the base that sucked everyone, including Tyrian, into it before exploding... and tossing out numerous brains afterward."

"But what about the building?" Glynda asked.

"After killing everyone, the alien summoned a meteor to destroy the building."

"Wow. Did the alien get hurt during the fight?" Qrow asked.

"Not that I am aware of. The alien avoided most of the attacks. And the ones that did get through were blocked by some kind of personal shield."

"Hmm. Interesting. If what you are saying is true-" Ozpin began.

"It is true." Raven said, snarling.

"Then we have a massive problem on our hands. But as we told Qrow, we're going to need some proof."

"I have proof. I recorded as much as I could with my scroll. And I believe the meteor that destroyed the White Fang base is still there." Raven said as she handed Ozpin her scroll with the video ready to play.

"Very well. After we watch this, we will head there." Ozpin said, with the others agreeing before he pressed play.

However, while he didn't show it internally, Ozpin was panicking. He recalled early on in a different life how some scientists from the kingdoms stumbled upon some mysterious but highly advanced technology. Many wanted to study it as it held numerous possibilities that would benefit everyone. But too many people started coming after it, and they could not let it fall into their hands. So they sent to each of the different kingdoms for protection. And in this life, he locked it deep within Beacon Academy. Yet, if this was the technology the alien was looking for, then all of Remnant was in massive trouble.

'Oum, help us all.' Ozpin thought as they watched the video with growing concern.

Notes:

Small update. Now that I finished the other stories I wanted to get over with, this and another will be my primary focus, so updates will be more frequent.
