Phase 13: Lake of Death
The field commander Gwen along with her Undertaker units are inside the warehouse Rachel just raided for they see she is very capable. A path of destruction was left behind as there were dead Undertakers, bioweapons, and broken defenses lying around. "Well seems like they have gotten one of our maps. They will be heading for the keys which will open the gate towards the town," Gwen said.
"Yes but you must reinforce those locations and watch out for the bioweapons," the Overseer said.
"I will," Gwen said as she had a key with her. "There are seven keys on the island with me having the eighth one. They will come to me soon enough," Gwen said.
Elsewhere Rachel treats her boyfriend's worn-out body with painkillers letting him help. "Feeling better?" she asked.
"Yeah I am now," Jack said as Elza looked over the supplies Rachel had gathered along with a new weapon.
"I got you an MPX, giving you better range," Rachel said.
"Thanks, it will come in handy," Elza said to check the new weapon over. "Gee, that suit comes in handy," Elza said as she looked into the chamber of the SMG.
"Yep, it was keeping me warm and safe," Rachel said feeling powerful in it.
"That spider silk is something else. Why would they make something like this?" Elza questioned.
"Who knows, that Seung guy made me great armor to aid in fighting those monsters," Rachel said.
"Well, your head is exposed. You can do some upgrades to make the suit even better and make you more protected," Elza said.
"Yeah I will be unbeatable," Rachel said sounding excited with Elza sighing at this.
"I don't think it can take a rocket strike," Elza said.
"Well Jack is going to get better and now we have got a map which will get us a way into the city in the middle of the island," Rachel said.
"Yeah, there are about 8 keys we need to gather to open the gate into the inner areas of the island. Only one is not at a location but on a person," Elza said.
"Yeah, it's on the field commander of the Undertakers. Gwen, she is the one ordering the soldiers trying to kill us here," Rachel said.
"I see, we better be careful," Elza said.
"We should go after the first one it's at a lake not too far from here. It's inside a lighthouse in the middle of the lake," Rachel said.
"Okay, once Jack is good to go. We can head back outside," Elza said as Rachel peeled off the bodysuit to see it had not much damage.
"Gee, it's so cool. Very sci-fi with the silk being armor stuff," Rachel said as she took off the hoisters and the backpack from the suit. She heads over to her room to see her boyfriend is doing well.
"Well, that medicine hits the spot," Jack said lying in bed with Rachel appearing half naked. "Goodness, that sight always makes me feel better," he flirted with her as Rachel giggled at this.
"You can take it in as much as you like. We are planning to attack the first location of the key," Rachel said.
"Well, we are going to get this done and head to the city to the lab underneath it," Jack said as Rachel climbed under the sheets to join with her boyfriend holding onto his warm body against her exposed skin. "You have such smooth skin like velvet," he said.
"All for you baby," she said to kiss him on the lips for them to go to sleep. "Good night baby," she said.
"Sleep tight babe, we are going to go after that key tomorrow," Jack said to fall asleep.
Rachel goes to sleep lying on Jack's warm chest as she dreams about one of their first dates in the park, and how fun it was to go on a picnic over 2 years ago.
-Flashback Begins-
Rachel is setting up the blanket under a big tree which is the perfect spot for their date. "I have found the perfect spot for us. He will be being in even more goodies to try out," she thought as she had a bag filled with food and snacks she had gathered for their picnic.
"I came just in time," Jack said as he arrived at their eating spot.
"Hey baby, looking handsome there," Rachel said as Jack was wearing a green t-shirt, brown pants, and red sneakers.
"Right back at you sunshine," Jack said as she had an amazing outfit consisting of an orange tank top, olive jean short shorts with black leggings underneath, and white sneakers. "You look amazing," he is stunned by how casually beautiful she can be without trying.
"Thanks, Jack, that is very sweet to say. This is new, I am happy you like it," Rachel said as she saw him carrying a bag of goodies for the picnic. "Got some goodies for us," she said.
"Yes, I did. I got some food for the picnic," Jack brings bottles of lemonade, a box filled with mac, cheese, and chicken with sweet spicy chips. "I got my fill here," he said as Rachel was happy to see this.
"You went all in. You made this?" she asked to look at the box of mac, cheese, and chicken.
"Yep, it's pretty easy to make. I hope you like it," Jack said as Rachel pulled out chocolate strawberries, banana cream pudding, and hamburger steak.
"I got my stuff. I got a bunch of treats for us to eat," Rachel said as they placed their stuff onto the blanket with the wind giving him a soft pleasing breeze. "Oh, what is that?" she asked.
"It's sweet spicy chips, you had these before?" he asked as she shook her head with no. "Oh trust me, it tastes pretty good," he said as he opened the bag to show a bunch of chips having an orange tint to them.
She grabs a bunch into her hand to bite into them. "Oh, you were not kidding. Sweet yet spicy, very tasty," she said as she chewed them until she ate all of them leaving a burning feeling on her pink lips. "Oh my, it's firing up my lips," she said.
"Told you they taste good," he said as he looked at the treats like the chocolate strawberries. "Are we planning to go somewhere after this?" he asked.
"Oh well, it's a couple's thing. They are the best mix of flavors you can think of," Rachel said with a sweet smile.
"You know these are the best aphrodisiacs to mix. They are good Valentine's Day and wedding treats for a reason," he said as her face lit up like a tomato.
"Oh well yeah, I like it. It makes sense to bring some here today," she said as Jack laughed at this.
"I am playing with you Sunshine, it's a nice thing," he said as Rachel pouted at him.
"You are such a big meanie," Rachel said as Jack thought she looked adorable pouting like that. "Here, try it, it's pretty good," Rachel to picking one up to feed him.
"Cool," he said as he ate it out of her hand. "Nice. Very tasty," he said.
"Thankfully it didn't melt," she said as he handed her a bottle of lemonade. "Thanks, Jack," she said as they were enjoying their meal with them opening the boxes. "I want to try this mac and cheese with chicken," she said.
"Suit yourself," he said as he pulled up the container to see it was well made with the chicken seasoned and crispy.
"Wow, smells good," she said as she used a fork to take a chunk of it and put it into her mouth. Her tastebuds are going nuts as her eyes lit up with stars. "Oh boy, this is amazing," she said as she wanted to eat it.
"Yeah, I had something like this at a chicken place I liked and I wanted to share it with you," Jack said.
"Oh thanks, I want to go to the chicken place if it is anything like this," Rachel said as she grabbed her box to hand him the hamburger steak. "I hope you like this. I cooked it well enough," she said as her boyfriend took a fork to get a bit of it and took a bite.
"Well, it's juicy yet tender. Very good," he said as Rachel happily nods her head.
"Thank you, I am happy this is turning out great. The weather is nice, the view here is great and it is so peaceful here," Rachel said as Jack looked over to see Rachel's long hair dancing against the breeze with her heaving chest looking notable in her tight-fitting tank top.
"So pretty and that chest," he thought as the tank top is showing a good amount of cleavage showing off the deep valleys of her ample melons.
"Seems like there is a different view you like," Rachel flirted to look into his eyes.
"Yeah, it's hard not to look at someone so beautiful," Jack said as Rachel felt her cheeks feeling rosy.
"Thank you, you are so sweet to me," Rachel said to lean towards him to let him get a better view of her huge chest. "Here, you will get the real treat later. You found me out with the chocolate strawberries," Rachel said in a flirty tone.
"I know it," Jack said as Rachel was eating the pudding to enjoy herself.
"Here, this is great," Rachel said to let him try out the pudding.
"Thanks," Jack takes a spoon to grab enough to put it into his mouth. "Oh, this is a treat alright," Jack said as Rachel had a thought going through her head.
"Can you share that?" Rachel asked.
"Here you go," Jack uses a spoon to put it towards her mouth. She shakes her head leaving Jack confused. She reaches out to kiss his lips to shove her tongue into his mouth to take in the sweet taste of the pudding still in his mouth.
She pulls away as she sucked out the pudding into her mouth. "Sharing is caring right," she said with a cute wink.
"You are something else Sunshine," Jack said as she giggled at them.
"You will see more sides of me very soon, I know you will like it," Rachel said as they enjoyed the rest of the day eating their food under the tree with their picnic date being successful.
-Flashback Ends-
Morning has come, Rachel is rubbing her face into his warm chest to wake up from her dream based on a good memory. "That was so wonderful, he was so sweet," she thought as she looked at his sleeping face, happy to be by his side despite their situation. She goes to kiss him on the lips to see him waking up. "Morning baby," she said.
"Such a great view to wake up to, you sound happy," he said.
"Yeah, I had a dream of one of our first dates. A picnic date we had before," she said.
"Oh yeah, that was great. Very sweet time we had there," Jack said.
"After this, we are going to have even more sweet times together," Rachel said as she got out of bed to head for the shower to get washed up.
"Time to head back into the frozen wasteland," Jack said as he got a radio call from Elza.
"Good Morning, we are going toward the lake soon. I cook some breakfast," Elza said.
"Yeah I am hungry," Jack said.
'You feel better now?" Elza asked.
"Yeah, pretty good," Jack said.
"Good, we need to work together to survive this," Elza said.
"Yeah," Jack said as everyone ate their food and got into their gear. Elza switches her shotgun to her new MPX which has a red dot sight and a foregrip. They go outside to get some extra equipment. "I am surprised some of these bodies of water have not frozen over yet," he said.
"Well, there are some volcanic vents in some of these lakes which go quite deep preventing them from freezing up," Elza said.
"I see, makes sense," he said as they go to a cliff which the lake is far above them.
"Good thing, we got climbing equipment," Rachel said.
"Okay; here we go," Jack said as they began to climb up the mountain using their grappling hooks to scale up the mountainside. The wind is blowing as Rachel's hair is getting into her face.
"Wow, it's getting chilly than usual," Rachel said as she was in front of Jack with him behind her.
"Yeah, we are kind of high up now," Jack said jokily.
"Right, of course," she said as they were now very high up to see the amazing view on the side of the mountain. "Wow, this is beautiful," Rachel said.
"It sure is," Jack said as he is looking straight up staring at Rachel's ass. "The view is so big, wide, and full of shape," he said slyly liking her full round butt and broad hips filling out her bodysuit.
"Are you talking about the mountains or my ass?" she asked.
"The view I'm looking at right now," he said bluntly.
"I'm glad you're enjoying the view Jack but let's focus on the task at hand. I don't want to lose your head to some silly snipers," Rachel said as Elza makes a fake cough.
"Okay you lovebirds let's focus," Elza said as they finally reached the top of the cliff.
"Alright, we made it," he said as they saw a small outpost that had a patrol boat at a dock.
"There is our ride," Elza said for they went up to the boat to see if it was operational and had tons of gas. "Okay, I will drive, and you two cover me," Elza said placing the grenade launcher on the side just in case they needed it.
"Alright, we will cover you," Jack said for she goes to drive the boat for them to go through the river.
"We are going through, we are going to be flanked by both sides," Elza said.
"Alright," he said as they are a bunch of soldiers are coming in on jeeps. "Right on cue," he said as Rachel took cover to use her MDRX to pop multiple accurate shots getting headshots. Bullets slam on the side of the patrol boat as Jack ducks with bullets flying over his head.
"Having fun back there?" Elza asked in a playful tone.
"Yeah, I am having a real blast," Jack said dryly as he put a precise round into the gunner's head.
A grenade was tossed by one of the Undertaker soldiers to miss the boat and a jet of water made by the explosion splashes onto the back of the boat. Jack's AK Alfa fires rapid shots to take out more enemies while lobbing grenades from the under-mounted launcher to take out jeeps.
Rachel reloads her DMR to look through the scope to put more rounds down range to see more Grunts fall into the snow. "More are coming," she said with more jeeps, and soldiers are coming in shooting at the boat for the hull is holding up against small arms fire.
"They are coming out of the woodworks," Elza said for they are about to be on the lake. "Hold on a bit longer, we are going to hit the lake," she said.
"We are getting swamped," Jack said as he switched from left to right to tear through groups of Undertaker Grunts. Soon enough there were armored Humvees with their machine guns blazing at them.
"You got to be kidding me," Rachel said grabbing the GL-06 to join Jack in blasting apart groups of Undertakers and blowing up armored cars killing their crews inside.
"Okay, we are in the clear," Elza said for them to speed into the wide-open lake to avoid the enemy soldiers and armor. "Glad that is over," she said for they saw enemy patrol boats coming in. "Or not," Elza said wielding her pistol using one hand to pilot the boat with her aiming in the other.
One of her shots cuts through the head of the driver of a boat with other patrol boats to open fire. Jack is taking cover with bullets flying their way for the boat is taking damage. "We are getting holes here," Jack said as he was putting shots at the crew of a patrol boat killing them off.
One of the patrol boats tries to ram into the duo's boat as Elza puts a round into the head of the driver making the boat barely miss the mark. She reloads her FN57 pistol as they are getting close to the small island in the middle of the icy lake.
"Thank god, we are getting close to our target," Elza said.
"Indeed," Rachel said for they made landfall to leap out of the boat to see it heavily shot up for its on its last legs. "Lucky the old girl held on as long as she did," she said.
"Yeah," he said as the trip went into the building. The Undertakers manage to blow up the patrol boat to see it explode. "Well, there is our ride," he said.
"Let's think about it later and take these guys out first," she said as Jack and Elza held them back for Rachel to go inside to gain some height.
She popped out multiple grenades taking out multiple patrol boats with at least 12 boats that had become flaming scrap heaps.
"Nice save," Jack said for she tosses the launcher to Elza.
"Thanks," she said to go up the lighthouse to get the first key. Someone is watching from the water with Jack looking over in its direction.
"Hey something is there," Jack said as a large frog appeared to land in front of them. "Lurker but it looks a bit different," he said as the large frog leashes out with its tongue to strike Elza to knock her onto her feet. Her grenade launcher slips up and falls into the deep icy waters.
"Well, that sucks," Elza said as she pulls out her MPX to put shots into the frog's head killing it. Several more Lurkers pop out of the water trying to leash them but they dodge their attacks.
"These were abandoned a long time ago but now seems like T-Abyss gave them a new lease as Bioweapons," Jack said as Rachel heard fighting outside.
'What is going on?" she asked on the radio.
"Oh, there are Abyss Lurkers here," Jack said.
"Oh my, they upgraded them as well. Those bioweapons are very old," Rachel said as she found the key in a box.
"Yeah, they are taking old, failed bioweapons and making them better with the T-Abyss virus," Jack said as the Lickers and Hunter Gamma types were more dangerous due to the T-Abyss virus.
"I got the key," Rachel said as she looked through the window to see the Abyss Lurkers hopping around and trying to eat them whole. Elza uses her MPX to shoot an Abyss Lurker clinging to the side of the lighthouse to knock it back down killing it.
They managed to clear out the little island of Bioweapons. "We got the first key and we got new rides," she said for there are two Jet Ski there nearby.
"Better than nothing," Elza said as Rachel put the key in her pouch for the trio to sit on the Jet Skis.
"You drive, I will handle the fighting," Rachel said.
"Alright, hold on tight," he said as she grabbed hold by warping her arms around his waist feeling the tightness of his stomach with her taking in his scent.
"His smell, it's so comforting," she said as she pressed her breasts into Jack's back for he was enjoying this. They speed off back to the return point to see the Undertaker soldiers are still there for they are going at full speed evading their fire.
They go down the river as bullets and explosions are raining down around the duo with water and snow kicking up in their view.
They manage to avoid the enemies hitting the ground for them to flop onto the snow with the Jet Skis crashing into a big rock and getting destroyed on impact. "Oh crap," Elza said as something has broken her fall.
"Rachel," Jack muttered.
"Hey baby, where are you?" she questioned.
"You are sitting on me," he said as Rachel's big rear is planted onto her boyfriend's face.
"Oh my, sorry Jack," she said with her face glowing red as she got off him.
"It's okay, it a pleasurable accident," he joked always loving how soft her butt was as she flashes a smile.
"Oh Jack, I don't know what to do with you," she said as they were both red in the face to regain their composure to climb down the cliff avoiding the enemies.
"Well, we managed to grab the key. Seems we are going at a good pace," he said.
"Yep, we are unstoppable as a team," Rachel said feeling happy about this.
"Yeah," he said for them to head back to the bunker to get some rest from their mission.
