"My old flesh was so boring. Where are the people? The women?!" He screamed, spreading his arms apart as if embracing the world. "What a wonderful era to be in. Men, Women, and children are crawling everywhere like maggots. MARVELOUS! It'll be a massacre!"

Shaking off his fear the mummy genin screamed towards the treetops "Hey! You crazy b-bastard we're not-"

No one saw it, no one could follow it more than a faint blur, but before anyone knew it. Naruto closed the distance between himself and the sound ninja, palming the sound ninja's face, slamming his head into the ground before ruthlessly dragging him through mud, uprooting tree roots and other unknown substances. Before tossing the mummy's body into the woods, as his body flew it broke and carved through trees as if he was a saw, bones breaking, and organs rupturing from the force of the impact before rag-dolling to a stop. The only people capable of following his speed were Neji and Rock Lee. Stupefied by the fact that the blond genin just a couple of hours ago was barely able to keep up with Lee at his lowest speeds, was now able to move as fast as him with his leg weights off.

'We need to leave now.' Were the collective thoughts of Neji and Shikamaru as their highly strategic minds reassessed the blonde's threat level from that maneuver alone and they didn't like what they saw.

The sound ninja that was just dispatched like a bag of garbage, lay face up in a mangled heap of mud, and his blood. Red seeped through the bandages that lay over his mouth. If his chest wasn't moving slightly, everyone would have thought he was dead from the attack.

Sakura couldn't believe it, hell none of the Leaf Ninjas could. The boy who clumsily and awkwardly alongside too many clones to coordinate properly did that!?

Wiping some of the blood off his hand onto his pants, Naruto turned his red eyes locking onto Sakura "What a weakling, Sakura you were having trouble with him?" He asked her, yawning at the lack of challenge the sound genin presented.

" I-I would have beat him myself if it was just him attacking me, but his teammates were jumping me as well! And all three of them were trying to get Sasuke as well." She stammered out with a hint of fear. Before remembering it was Naruto she was talking with. As she pointed to the two remaining Sound Ninjas with a vindictive flare in her eyes. 'Hell yeah, Naruto! I don't know what's going on but kick those jerk's asses! Cha!'

Naruto turned to them and then back to Sakura, "Really, those insects seem pretty weak?" He asked with a frown while pointing his thumb towards the ninja in question. He had looked at their chakra; the density, nature, how and where it was channeled, all of that and he just couldn't consider them more than small fry.

Then he turned to the other Leaf Ninjas surrounding them, "Are you lot just going to hide in the shadows like rats? Or are all of you planning to jump us and take our scrolls?" He asked ominously while stuffing his hands in his pockets. Two of his eyes looked at where Team 10 was while the other was staring at Team 9.

Six Leaf Genin felt their eyes widen in shock as the blond revealed that he knew they were there. Team 10 stood from the bushes, Shikamaru still visibly sweating, 'That chakra wasn't normal. It was terrifyingly powerful and full of malice I know it came from him. Those eyes…the change in his body, whatever happened. We can't underestimate him!'

"We were going to jump in if Sakura couldn't handle it." Shikamaru gulped, both Ino and Choji knew to let him take the lead here and stayed quiet.

Naruto smiled, showing his sharpened k9s "Ah that's nice of you Shikamaru! Bushy brow are you guys doing the same?" He asked Team Gai standing in the trees now visible to everyone else.

Neji stepped forward before Lee could answer, "No, we were merely observing. We are leaving." Neji stated as he and his team were about to leave before the clearing was enraptured with killing intent. He froze on the spot as his stomach filled with dread, it was like someone was holding a blade to the back of his neck.

"You didn't think I would just let you go after you watched, my teammate nearly get beaten to death, right? Naruto Declared, moving forward towards Neji nonchalantly walking towards them hands in his pocket with his chest puffed out. "Give me your scrolls and maybe you'll live to see tonight. Unless one of you is willing to trade a limb for a scroll?"

"Wait Naruto what are you doing these are our friends and fellow shinobi of the leaf. And we don't even need their scrolls what about the sound ninja and their scrolls why don't see what they have and then go from there?" Sakura pointed out while tugging Naruto's arm in an attempt to hold him back.

But before they could discuss any further Zaku, the second in command of the three Sound Ninja felt his heart settle back down and knew when to cut losses. "We will retreat without a fight if you allow us. As an offering here is our scroll." He said while setting down their heaven scroll.

Naruto watched pondering if he should give chase as they picked up their teammate before fleeing into the forest.

"Hmph. Scurrying away like spinless monkeys." He spat, disgusted at the fact that other shinobi would rather run than die fighting. "Well then, I guess you guys are off the hook for now. Come on Sakura, let's go get sleeping beauty, we have the scroll we needed." He ordered with a lazy smile on his face. Leaving behind a petrified Team 10 and a stunned Team 9.

Sakura could only nod dumbly, completely shocked at the change in tone of the situation. Before it was a life-or-death battle that she was slowly losing hope of winning and now Naruto had completely wiped the floor with the enemy shinobi.

Sakura twitched at being ordered by her idiotic teammate, turning towards her fellow leaf shinobi "Hope you guys find your other scrolls. And sorry about Naruto, I don't know what's going on with him. See you later, bye." Sakura responded, giving an apologetic smile before chasing after Naruto.

Naruto stared down at Sasuke for a moment, letting his eyes roam over the weird mark on Sasuke's neck.

'Heh! What a disgusting bastard mixing their chakra with some strange chakra energy! It looks like if Sasuke were to use it, it would boost all his abilities and chakra at the cost of his mental state. With continuous use it makes the user depend on it so when they stop it causes withdrawal. It's like a parasitic relationship. It must have been that snake bitch; I wonder what technique she used to create this. If she was able to create that, I wonder what other twisted techniques she has. But oh well not my problem.' Naruto didn't realize it yet, but he thought all of that in the blink of an eye as his mind was able to piece together information.

'Maybe I wasn't ready for this test…' Sakura thought sadly, she was behind Sasuke and even Naruto entering the exams and it was the trials of the forest that hammered that home.

It took them two hours of walking to get to the tower. Naruto dealt with three teams that tried to ambush them at lightning speed and they made it to the tower without much hassle.

Sakura was done trying to figure out what was going on with Naruto and just accepted that he was somehow way better than before and followed behind him tiredly. At this point she just wanted a shower and a bed; she didn't care anymore. Sasuke was still out cold.

Inside the tower, they saw a sign telling them a riddle concerning heaven and earth. Sakura didn't bother reading it, she let Naruto give his new brain a go at it.

Naruto read it over once before shaking his head, "Really this is what counts as a test for Chūnin. We couldn't have fought a group of Genin or something. We need to open both scrolls at the same time." He scoffed

"Naruto, I don't think that would be a good idea with Sasuke still out cold and me being low on chakra it sounds like a disa—oomph" Tossing Sasuke at Sakura with no regard. She felt exhaustion fully hit her and unceremoniously dropped her crush to the floor and then to the ground. She was even more tired of watching Naruto's abrasive attitude.

An explosion of smoke came from the scrolls and from it emerged their teacher from the academy. Not caring in the least bit at whoever popped out of the scroll, Naruto strolled past the smoke and walked toward the towers.

When Iruka volunteered to be Team Seven's guide, he expected them to be a little rough up. With Sasuke's talent and prodigious skill, Sakura's smarts, her innate talent combined with Naruto's toughness and never-say-die attitude they would've been fine… Okay maybe not fine but alright. What he didn't expect to be greeted with was the feeling of pure evil. It was like a virus slowly overtaking his body filling it with a burning cold. The warm blood inside of him turned frosty as sweat pooled in his uniform.

Reminding himself that he was still a chunin and he was supposed to guide his knucklehead genin toward their rooms. Throwing a smile on his face before the smoke cleared. But what greeted his sight twisted Iruka's upturned lips to frown. Sakura's normally long pink hair was chopped to shoulder length and her prim and pristine battle dress was filled with gashes and tears with mud and grime covering her. Her pale skin was covered in red and purple blotches, her left eye was swollen shut, and her nose had dried blood crusted under it.

Sasuke was unconscious and clutching the dirt underneath him. And Naruto was nowhere to be found until he felt a dark presence behind him. Turning towards it Iruka's vision was briefly filled with the shadow of a creature with four glowing red eyes. Vison clearing from the terrifying visage he spotted Naruto or what he suspected was Naruto. his heart felt like it was climbing up his throat constricting his breathing as he stared at this, this…Demon. The chakra coming from him was the same as that terrifying pulse from earlier. If wasn't for the fact that it contained no traces of Nine-Tails chakra he would have believed the seal broke and the demon was free once again. It was like staring death in the face, it was like that one fate full day 12 years ago, just full of pure malice.

'What the fuck happened to Naruto?!' He thought in shock, unable to form words. He didn't even mention the four eyes that made his head spin. His goofball of a student had completely transformed. Where before he had whisker marks on his cheeks they moved and merged into an unseen smaller pair of eyes resting below his other eyes. He had tattoos covering his forehead, nose, cheeks, wrist, upper body, abdomen, and legs. He also has a second pair of eyes underneath his normal eyes, which were closed. He was taller than before he stood about 4'11 he was now 5'6 and stood almost eye to eye with Iruka. His blond spiked hair was now slick back. His sapphire blue eyes were replaced with ruby red and held a strange look in his eye, like he held a secret that only he knew or the look of a cat that caught the canary. And he was staring at Iruka dead in his eyes unblinking.

"What's wrong Iruka? it looks like you've seen a ghost." The blond stated. A knowing smirk on his face as he stared at the scarred face Chunin.

Face pale Iruka could only chuckle nervously, "Oh it's nothing Naruto, I was just surprised at your new look." Rubbing the back of his neck. He got straight to business., so he could get out of the area and warn the Hokage that there might be something wrong with Naruto's seal. "Well, I was supposed to tell you about the meaning of heaven and earth, but I think we need to get Sasuke to the medics, and Naruto I think you need to see the Hokage to explain what happened."

Acting as if he didn't hear what Iruka said Naruto walked into the tower, hands in his pockets, ignoring everything going on as if he were out on a stroll to the store or going to the park. Not caring the least bit that his teammate might be on death's door and his other needed immediate medical attention.

"Iruka-sensei! This weird snake lady bit Sasuke on the neck and left a mark on his neck. Also, Naruto has been acting strange since he woke up after that lady did something to his stomach." Sakura whispered the last part to Iruka worry etched onto her face at the fact that two of her teammates were taken out by that sound girl.

Iruka looked at Sasuke's neck and gasped in recognition then looked towards Naruto as he retreated into the tower.

Sakura just sighed from her place on the ground; she knew Iruka-Sensei would catch on to what was going on and hopefully help both her teammates.

Naruto spent the remainder of the time before the second part of the exams finished in his room staring out the window into the forest and thinking. Looking down on all the living things in the forest had him wondering about his life and what he wanted from it. Looking back at how he was treated with all the glares, neglect, and hate from the villagers made him realize. His life was shit.

Yeah, Teuchi gave him free ramen from time to time. Sure, the old man helped him out sometimes but who's to say it wasn't just because he was the jailer of the Kyuubi, and he needed to keep him happy as an obligation to the village. Sure, he has his team now, but they were barely acquaintances. Kakashi-sensei didn't even teach them anything till the crap with Zabuza. Sakura and Sasuke rejected all his attempts to hang out, outside of training. Hell, he didn't even know any of their birthdays or hobbies. They didn't treat him wrong or anything like that, but he wasn't even respected by anyone in his graduating class.

Of course, they had some good times, but it didn't replace twelve years of pain. Twelve years of adults hating him, and twelve years of their kids being influenced to ignore him. The whispers of him being a demon, the glares at him as if he was lower than dog shit beneath their sandals. Twelve years of never knowing love and the feeling of being loved. Deprived of parental love with no guidance. Never knowing the feeling of a warm hug and home-cooked meals. Twelve years of hate. So here he sat looking out towards the village behind the forest and wondered what he was fighting for. Yeah, he loved his home and the village. But he didn't have any friends, no family that he knew of. Questioning why he wanted to be Hokage, just for the acknowledgment of people who would condemn him just for what he had sealed inside.

As Naruto thought over his life for the past couple of hours, he had an epiphany. A final thought about what he wanted. He wanted to be Strong! No, not just strong, he wanted to be the strongest! not just the strongest now but the strongest shinobi no being in history! To make people tremble at the sound of his name, to make villages bow down and offer everything they had just to appease him. He didn't need love it was worthless, friends, and family he never had; To hell with them. He survived twelve years without it and he'll go another 1000 years. His name will go down in annuals of history as the strongest. Believe it!

"I'll live for myself! I'll eat when I want to eat. If someone is annoying, I'll kill them! If they're interesting, I'll play with them. Anything else is a problem for those who are unable to measure my existence." He declared to himself, promising to never let anyone step on him or play with him how that snake bitch did. It was as if the world stopped moving at the declaration from the boy.

As Naruto sat and waited for the second part of the exam, he decided to do a little chakra training by practicing and perfecting the flow of his chakra. Which came a hundred times easier to him now. The best way to describe it would be as if someone who saw the world in the earliest most basic of a television, now saw it through the latest cutting-edge monitor that the hospitals used. He instinctively understood chakra and could control it with the closest thing to perfection. It took a little time to master his second pair of eyes, but it was a bit strange but like tree walking, once you get it, you'll never forget. It was like everything he had was enhanced, his chakra control was better, his body was stronger, and his mind moved faster, finally, he was taller. He would never admit it, but he hated being the shortest in his class, always being looked down on but now he would be the one looking down on everybody else.

He flooded his body and muscles like he knew the more experienced ninja did to enhance them to be stronger and faster and found that not only could he do it unlike before, but he was able to do it to a level he didn't think possible till now. His chakra was even denser than it was before and even the color of it changed.

Another thing he noticed was that his body was harder to control, like his strength and speed. When he went to fight that sound ninja, he was moving just off instinct but now it was kinda hard getting used to his longer limbs. He even crushed the cup of ramen he had and got it all over himself.

Since the pulse of chakra, people were taking the situation of the exams a bit differently. The Jōnin ANBU were stationed at various places around the tower to monitor for whatever or whoever was responsible.

Jiraiya skipped all pretenses of waiting to run into Naruto organically and went to the tower to meet with The Third Hokage to investigate the situation. The Hokage, when he arrived at the tower along with Jiraiya and Kakashi, were pulled aside by Iruka.

Iruka stared at what was likely the three most powerful Leaf Ninjas with a serious expression.

"It's Naruto." He said seriously.

All three of them, who all had different levels of attachment to the boy in question looked at Iruka with narrowed eyes hoping it wasn't something bad.

Iruka gulped, "That chakra, it was Naruto…he's different! When the prelims start, you'll see. He's in the team's room right now if you want to see him now. Sakura said that she spotted the snake lady which I presume to be Orochimaru do something strange to his stomach. Although, I think addressing Sasuke Uchiha's mark is more pressing."

Which is what the three of them did. Thankfully Sasuke was still out cold when they arrived, so they were able to bind the curse mark with a Sealing Jutsu called The Evil Sealing Method quite easily woke up shortly after, groggy and confused.

While more irritable than before, he wasn't too different after getting briefed on where he was and the situation with the seal. Although safe from the effects of the seal at the moment, Sasuke mentioned that his chakra was a bit more wild than normal.

The three moved on and decided to wait till the next day when the prelims would take place to see the changes in Naruto.

Which is where they found themselves, all gaping at the blonde's extra pair of eyes new tattoos, and terrifying chakra that was barely held beneath the surface.

The other Jōnin, from the Leaf or otherwise were all doing the same. At the same time, the blond in question chuckled at Sasuke who in turn glared at him hatefully which caused him to laugh harder.

Hiruzen turned to Jiraiya, "Have you?"

"No." The Sage answered seriously, "That is not something I've ever seen. Those new eyes and those strange marks on him are strange. It's almost giving off the same feeling as the curse mark, but I know it's not that, I'm thinking it could be a new Kekkei Genkai. But Neither Minato nor Kushina had anything remotely similar to that."

Kakashi uncovered his Sharingan for a moment to look at the blond. "I would ask a Hyuga to confirm but his chakra is calmer than I've ever seen it and this new form of his is giving off the same feeling as if he was using Kyuubi chakra."

Hiruzen hummed for a moment as his mind worked at light speed, "We will see what changes this awakening has caused in the coming moment during his battle. I suspect things are going to be a lot more interesting" he stated as he looked down on at the young genin, Kakashi and Jiraiya both agreed.

In the far corner, a concealed Orochimaru was staring at Naruto. 'Kukuku, it looks like the brat got a little power up. No matter Sasuke-Kun will soon be mine and that old fool won't be able to do anything to stop me.' The Snake thought a smirk overtaking his face.

Down with all the Genin, Naruto was still enjoying himself by laughing at Sasuke, who was in his grumpy attitude.

"Ya know that evil chakra is sealed off right? So why are you acting all moody" He asked with a mocking frown.

Sasuke continued to glare at the blond, while Sakura just stared ahead completely over it. Naruto had been poking fun at her and Sasuke ever since they got to the tower and no matter what either o did, they couldn't touch Naruto to shut him up. Yelling at him just made him laugh at them.

It was a horrible day when the class clown/prankster suddenly became all-powerful…

The Third Hokage appeared before the crowd of Chūnin hopefuls with a smoking pipe in his mouth and his hands folded behind his back.

"Congratulations for making it this far." He said gravely.

Naruto smiled at the old man and then proceeded to tune out the rest of his speech. He got the gist of it, this was a substitute for war, and they needed to fight for the village. He got it, they were show ponies the future of their respective villages to potential clients.

When they asked if anyone wanted to drop from the exams, the guy with the info cards quit for no reason, even though he wasn't hurt or lacking in chakra. Naruto rolled his eyes assuming that he coward or something. While stronger than practically all of the Genin here the guy still ran off, so didn't spare him much thought.

After that, another monologue started, and Naruto decided to be himself.

"Ah! Old man, we get it! Can we move on I'm about to go to sleep with how boring this is. Let's get this show on the road with all these weaklings here it won't even take a minute!" Naruto declared leaning against the wall his arms crossed against his chest as he looked around the room looking each of his peers in their eyes as if daring them to try something.

"How unyouthfull"

"Damit it Naruto"

"What the hell is that supposed to mean."

"Such a drag"

"Watch it brat."

"…."

"Ha… You the dead last beating all of us, you must have hit your head or something during the last exam. I can't believe you even passed the genin exams, they just giving out forehead protectors to anyone. Huh, Naruto." Proclaimed a boy with a look of indignation across his face as he walked towards Naruto, he was wearing a grey fur-hooded parka, black shinobi pants, and the standard shinobi. The boy had two red fang marks, one on each of his cheeks. On his head was a white-furred Great Pyrenees puppy.

"Oh Kiba, I didn't even realize you were still here, I was sure your sorry ass would have died in the forest. I feel sorry for Hinata and Shino because they must drag around a deadweight like you. And please I'm on a completely different level than everyone here."

"Yeah alright, Naruto. You're a genin just like me and everyone else in here. You better hope you don't match against me and Akamaru because we're gonna wipe the floor with you. Right boy"

"Arf." Barked the puppy sitting atop Kiba's head.

Chuckling at the response from the little puppy, Naruto leaned off the wall. "Please, comparing me and you as Genin is the same as comparing a Mosquito to a Dragon. We're not even in the same realm and I'm disgusted to even be classified the same rank as you." Goaded Naruto as he walked off, ignoring the glaring Kiba.

The Leaf Jōnin forgot about Naruto's new presence for a moment and was reminded that he was still an immature idiot. Many took to glaring at both him and Kakashi, who was rubbing his head nearby as Naruto's disrespect reflected poorly on him.

"Truly, do you understand?" Hiruzen asked in amusement.

"Duh, ya damn geezer!" Naruto answered getting hisses from many of the Leaf ninjas and a small s Jiraiya up in the Hokage observation platform. "We're show ponies for the old fogies and there a many of us for the main event, so you got to weed out some of the weaklings. I swear you take a hundred words to say twenty!"

The disrespect was ignored in favor of the surprise that Naruto of all people understood the site when he was not paying too much attention.

"Well, very good." A surprised Hiruzen muttered with a nod. "I leave it to you." He turned to a sickly looking Jōnin then moved to his platform with Jiraiya.

The man introduced himself as Hayate, "If you would all look to the monitor." He said with a small cough.

Names began flashing and after a while, it was Sasuke's, and someone named Yoroi. Naruto looked at his teammate's opponent with disappointment "Sasuke you better win this and show them what a Uchiha could do. Don't lose to this weakling." He ribbed jabbing Sasuke in his arm as he walked past. Sasuke barely acknowledged it but nodded anyway as he jumped over the railing.

Kakashi who was suddenly leaning down with his head next to Naruto's added, "Why's that?" He added with an eye smile.

Naruto fell back in shock; he didn't even know when Kakashi got there. "Woah, how'd you do that Kakashi-Sensei?" He asked in bewilderment before answering, "It's just that I don't want him losing to anyone before he fights me, I still didn't get my revenge from the academy and His real first loss is gonna be to me. And we're not going to count that snake bastard." He whispered to the Kakashi who was gazing at the boy in question.

Kakashi hummed in interest, 'so it's a rivalry going on between them.'

"Well, you heard him, Sasuke! Let's get up to the second level, Sakura, Naruto!" Kakashi said with a smile under his mask before walking towards the stairs.

Moments later it was just the Uchiha and the strange Genin left, and their fight began. Sasuke made quick work of the guy with Naruto's warning and Sharingan enhanced hand to hand.

Naruto cheered loudly and obnoxiously, just to piss everyone off/ "Woo! Great job Sasuke, I knew that roach couldn't stand a chance against you, he's weak just like everyone else in this room except Sakura!" He shouted, getting glares from some of the others in the room.

Kakashi clapped with an eye smile next to the blond while Sakura was on the other end of the standing next to Kurenai pretending, she was on Team 8.

Fights continued for a while, but Naruto ignored them until the fight between the bun-haired girl and the sand girl.

The sound of metal clanging as it hit the floor echoed in the large indoor arena.

'I missed her. There's just no way!' Tenten thought in disbelief. She was utterly dumbfounded by the fact that she had missed her mark.

Her aim was perfect. That was pretty much a fact. She could hit her mark 100 out of times 100 tries. As she looked into the cocky eyes of her sand village opponent, she knew there had to explanation.

"What was that? A warm-up exercise? Or maybe you're a little nervous and it's affected your aim?" Temari taunted back. "Perhaps I was hoping I'd at least work up a sweat, but it looks like I better forget that idea. Is the best you've got?" Taunted Temari, one eyebrow raised as she looked toward the stunned leaf Kunoichi.

Analyzing Temari from up top of the rafters, Naruto looked down at the battle now having his full attention. 'Hmm, from what bushy brows were spouting Tenten could hit the wings off a fly over 300 feet away. But Temari did something strange with her fan, was it some kind of Jutsu? I know She did something with her fan but what was kind of Chakra was that.' He was about to ask Kakashi what she was doing but decided to keep it to himself.

High up on the spectator's ledge Tenten heard the annoying cheering and chanting of her very annoying sensei and teammate.

"Come on Tenten! You can do it! Show her who is best!" Lee yelled. "Alright, Tenten! Keep her guessing. "Go for it! You've got the power of youth! Come on Tenten! Send that girl back to her village on a stretcher! We are right behind you all the way, Tenten! Let's hear it! 2, 4, 6, 8. Who do we appreciate you Tenten! Tenten! WOOOOOO! WOOOHOOOO!" They cheered.

'Ok. Stay calm. Don't let her get to you.' Tenten told herself. 'Let's see now…' She measured the spot from her to her opponent. '1…2…3…alright. At this distance, I can either attack or defend. She must have dodged them somehow! But…if I try a different approach…' Only then had she just realized the enormous fan Temari carried on her back. 'So that's it! It must have something to do with that fan she carries. Okay then… here goes!'

Tenten ran in a wide semi-circle around Temari's back-side, thinking that a behind approach might give her an advantage. She kicked off hard from the ground and soared high into the air. Then, in mi pulled out one of her summoning scrolls. She unrolled the long material and began twirling it around faster and faster it spun until it looked like a solid cocoon around her.

From that cocoon, many various kinds of sharp-throwing weapons flew out in all directions. A mass of them headed straight for Temari. However, she didn't even attempt to move out she merely smiled and took out her giant fan. With one swift swipe, she easily blew them all away.

"Heh. So that's what she's doing. It's over for Tenten, you might as well call the match now, Bushy brow-sensei before this gets worse. She's gonna get crushed."

"Hmm, what do you mean by that Naruto? Would you care to explain to the audience?" Kakashi questioned. Gesturing to teams 10, 9, and 8 along with their sensei's, along with the now-appearing Sakura while looking down at his cute little genin.

Sighing at all the attention he was drawing to himself, Naruto got to explain his thought process. "The reason I said she going to get crushed is because Temari is using some sort of wind Jutsu, with her fan. She controls the air current around her creating a sort of shield wind around almost like a vortex of air or mini tornado if you will, throwing off the aim of Tenten's weapons by affecting the… Velocity of it so unless Tenten could blitz Temari which I doubt she could this battle is over." Naruto explained, turning his attention back towards the battlefield.

'I guess he took to reading the dictionary I got him. He's starting to take after you more and more with every day that passes, Minato-sensei.' Eye smiling down at the correct assumption from his student. With a little bit of nostalgia hitting him, he beamed with pride at the fact that his student, and not just any student, the former dead last of his class was correctly breaking down the battle clearly and concisely, just like his father used to.

Ruffling the soft blonde mass of spikes, Naruto calls his hair. "Great job, Naruto. You guessed correctly, what she's doing is converting her chakra to wind nature like how I use lightning and earth jutsu or how Sasuke uses his fireball jutsu. Also, wind is one of the rarest chakra natures, but we have one of the best specialists in all of the Land of Fire in our resident ash smoker, Asuma. And don't worry you two, after this I'll get some chakra paper to test your natural affinities." Kakashi praised before turning back towards the battle ignoring the grilling the Ino was giving Asuma for not teaching them anything about affinities.

Tenten landed on the floor shortly after her weapons did. Her scroll fluttered down neatly beside her.

"No way! She stopped everything I threw at her!" Again, Tenten was in shock. She was sure at least one of them would hit her, but apparently, they didn't. What has she got in that fan of hers?

Temari chuckled. "Take a look. This is the first moon." She indicated the purple circle on the far left of her fan. "There are two more. When you see all three moons, you'll know you've lost the match."

Tenten gritted her teeth. This was becoming very frustrating. And Lee's constant cheering wasn't either.

"Come on Tenten! Do not play your opponent's game! Maintain focus! MAINTAIN FOCUS!"

'I know, Lee. I know! Well…I was planning on saving this for the final matches instead of wasting the preliminary round. But it may be now or never. This'll just have to work!'

The dingo-haired kunoichi pulled two small scrolls out from her weapon pouch. She knelt over a placed both of them neatly on either side of her so that they stood up horizontally. She then pre-series of hand signs.

"Rising Twin Dragons!"

From the top of each scroll, two dragon-shaped jets of smoke shot upward and began swirling at each other, with Tenten in the center of it all. She kicked off hard and once again flew into the air in midair the two lines of smoke turned into scrolls. The inside of the scrolls were lined with large symbols and every time her hand passed over one it would summon a single throwing weapon. With her all strength she threw kunai after knife after needle after daggers at the sand kunoichi, who, on again, made no attempt to move.

"It doesn't matter how many you throw at me. It's all the same. Moon number two!" Temari shouted. She opened her fan even wider to reveal the second purple circle. With the mighty heave of her fan looked almost effortless, Temari blew every one of the projectiles away again.

The two open scrolls fluttered down to the ground neatly as Tenten landed next to them.

"I'm not done!" Tenten yelled as she jumped high into the air again. Using strings of her chakra to control them, as a puppeteer would, the weapons began slowly rising into the air. In a last effort down the blonde sand kunoichi, Tenten hurled the various sharp objects at her. This time I'm sure! She thought triumphantly to herself.

But once again, Temari had to blow away every single one of them, along with Tenten this time. came crashing to the ground on top of the many kunai and such scattered on the floor.

Dammit! Not again! Tenten cursed in her head.

"Moon number three." Temari smiled. In one sweeping motion, she and her fan disappeared.

'What the hell! Where did she go? She…she's gone!'

"Yoohoo! Over here!" she heard a mocking voice from behind her. She turned to find her sand village rival floating on her giant fan towards her. She looked so light, like a leaf in the breeze.

Temari landed light as a cat in the spot where she had left.

"Now it's my turn. Wind Scythe Jutsu!" She heaved her fan and sent a huge air current that swept Tenten up with it.

Tenten was now in Temari's trap. The vortex of wind that surrounded her was being controlled by sand kunoichi. She was now at her mercy. The wind, although not solid, was somehow able to cut her. The howling, relentless wind kept slashing at her skin. It tore flesh and alike. Tenten screamed in pain, but the sound was drowned out by the roaring wind. It felt like it never ended. But, after what felt like an eternity, she felt as though she was falling… falling…

CRUNCH!

Tenten felt all the air leave her body as she landed on her back on the giant metal fan. Her spine contorted in a sickening-looking arch, sending a mind-shattering pain through her lower spine, briefly losing all feeling in her body before coughing up blood and spinal fluid.

Clearly seeing that the match was over Hayate raised his arm toward Temari. "Winner of the fifth preliminary match, genin of the sand village Temari." He declared.

"Well, if this is the best this village has to offer then I'm going to sweep through these exams with no problem. This wasn't even a match kind of boring." Insulted Temari.

Gai looked down in shock at how easily the sand girl dismantled his genin, with ease. "To be able to stop every one of Tenten's attacks like that, it takes an untold amount of skill and dedication to her craft. That girl is a monster."

A sadistic grin suddenly appeared on Temari's as with a mighty heave of her fan, she tossed Tenten's unconscious form through the air toward the pile of deathly sharpened weapons, with no care if the girl lived or died.

But before the girl's body could hit the mass of death, she was caught by a green blur, that only a select few could follow. Grunting from the dead weight of his teammate's form, Lee looked up with a dark look of rage across his normally beaming face at the actions of the Suna Kunoichi.

"Hey, nice catch."

"What's wrong with you, she may have lost but that's no way to treat an opponent that tried their best. She gave the utmost respect towards you as a fellow shinobi, and you spit on it with this type of disrespect. We're supposed to respect each other as allied villages and be honorable to those we defeat." Lee growled out.

"Tch. How annoying, talking about being honorable and how we're allies. Please, Now take that trash away already!" Temari taunted while slamming her fan on the ground.

"Stop! Lee!" Neji commanded.

Ignoring the cries of his teammate Lee rushed toward Temari, his speed surpassing most chunin, and the soul focused on getting revenge for his disrespected teammate.

"Leaf hurricane!" Lee roared as he spun around in a three-sixty motion before striking out with his right foot with enough strength to knock over Konoha's ironwood tree. But to his surprise and dismay, the only thing he felt was the iron of Temari's fan as she effortlessly blocked the kick. Sending dust, debris, stray kunai, and other weapons flying from the shock wave as steel met the hidden weights of iron underneath green spandex.

"What… But how?" Lee sputtered in shock at the fact that his special move was blocked.

"You act just how you look. Dull and as foolish as that other garbage."

"What did you say?" He grounded out before being pushed away by Temari. But before he could prepare for another attack he was chopped on his head by his sensei.

"Lee, you fool! Do you want to be disqualified before showing the world your burning YOUTH?" Guy reprimanded, fist clenched and warm tears flowing down his face at the thought of his prized student being disqualified.

His own eyes welled up with tears and the flame of youth at the thought of disappointing his sensei. "Guy-Sensei! I'M SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO BE SO UNYOUTHFULL, I WAS JUST TRYING TO AVENGE TENTEN BECAUSE HER PASSION AND FLARE WERE STEPPED ON BY THIS UNYOUTHFULL COW!" Lee cried before jumping into his sensei's arms. Sweat drops formed in the back of everyone's heads at the strange and honestly disgusting sight of one muscle-bound man and his muscle-bound student fitted in green spandex hugging it out in the middle of the arena.

"Unyouthfull what? I'll show you a cow when I shred both of—" She got ready to fill her fan with wind Chakra so she could blow the two imbeciles away. Temari was interrupted by the vision of her death, as she was buried and crushed in a tomb of sand. Sending a chill up her spine as the cold grip of the reaper encased her, flooding her senses with killing intent.

"Temari enough with the antics. Come up quick. You've been declared the winner. Don't keep company with that awful-looking guy and his chaperone forever." Gara commanded. The redhead's tone left no room for an argument as his word was final.

Ignoring the killing intent with the ease of a Jonin befitting his stature Guy clasped Lee on his shoulder, glancing up at the redhead, staring him in his eyes. "Heh. Gentlemen and Lady of the Sand. I wonder if I may give you a word of warning. This kid is strong! You should prepare yourselves."

"Picking a fight with the Sand…" Kiba started, looking over to Hinata. Akamaru shook and shivered inside Kiba's jacket trying to shield himself from the drop in temperature in the room. "I absolutely wouldn't want to fight those guys."

Glancing around the room before looking back to Kiba. "I agree, those sand shinobi are really strong," Hinata stuttered. 'But, they're not as strong as Naruto-Kun, this feeling he's giving off, it's like I'm standing next to a mountain from Kumo, that no matter how high I'll climb, I would never reach the top.' Hinata thought to herself as she gazed at Naruto's muscled back with a small blush crossing her face.

Feeling a grin bloom across his face at the sheer brutality of the girl's action and technique. Naruto's blood boiled as his lust for battle increased at the thought of facing so many strong opponents. Furthermore, he felt inspired by Temari's Wind Scythe jutsu. 'I'm definitely going to get some pointers from Asuma if what Kakashi said is true, and maybe I could even get that chick to help me out.'

Watching as Temari walked back up toward her brothers, Naruto couldn't help but let his eyes wander across the older teen's Naturally swaying hips, before snapping himself out of it. He crushed the guard rail under his supernatural strength as he unknowingly let his blood lust and chakra overtake him at the thought of fighting. Cracking the ground and the wall behind him.

Naruto felt a punch whack him upside the head, not strong enough to hurt him but just enough to snap him out of the state he was in.

"What the hell's going on with you Naruto? Snap out of it you're scaring Akamaru." Sakura said as she pointed toward Akamaru but really was showing him, his fellow genin were all shaking with Kiba trying to put up a strong front, but he could see right through it, Ino was on her knees grasping at her chest, Choji dropped his bag of chips, and his face was turning green. Shikamaru was sweating profusely while shaking like he was about to pass out and Shino was retreating further and further into his jacket. But the strange thing was Hinata there was a look of adoration across her face, and he could have sworn her nose bled a little as she was staring directly at his chest and lower abdomen.

"Ah, my bad Sakura-Chan I didn't realize they were all so weak that they couldn't handle a little chakra. But you're the strongest of those weaklings for a reason, so they should thank you for making me come to my senses." Naruto Bragged as he thumbed to the rookie nine.

Thumping him over the head again with annoyance flashing through Sakura's emerald eyes. "Naruto, That little bit of chakra was enough to shake the rafters and crack the ground and wall behind you."

"Yeah, I gotta agree with my other cute little genin Naruto, that chakra you released was enough to fill over four Jonin-level ninja chakra reserves. But what can I say? I just raise and train the strongest genin's in the village and soon to be the nation the others just can't compare." Kakashi ribbed ignoring the glares from his fellow Jonin and one cry about his hip and cool attitude, ruffling Naruto's, and Sakura's hair. He got a look of annoyance from Naruto and a feral Sakura trying to bite his hand while screaming about her already messed-up hair.

"Can Naruto Uzumaki 'cough' and Kiba Inuzuka come down for the 6th preliminary match." The sicky proctor called out.

"Well, it seems we missed Shikamaru's match. Oh well, it's your turn Naruto. Knock'em dead." Kakashi said with an eye smile.

"Go, Get him Naruto show dog breath why we're the strongest team in this damn exam." Sakura cheered with a clenched fist and fire in her eyes.

"Woo-hoo, Let's go Akamaru it seems like we hit the lottery, we got the dead last of our class." Crowed Kiba as he jumped over the railing landing without a sound with Akamaru following right behind his partner barking in agreement.

Naruto walked at his own pace down the stairs without a care in the world, with his hands clasped behind his head, face showing nothing but disappointment.

"Look Akamaru the Kid is scared to face us, that's why he's taking his ti—Hey dumbass where are you going the match is down here," Kiba shouted wide-eyed as Naruto completely ignored him and continued walking towards the other side of the arena up the flight of stairs to the rafters.

Finally arriving at the destination which was right in front of the Suna trio and their sensei only stopping directly in front of the blond easily brushing off the Gara's killing intent as a matter of fact he was relishing in it like it was a cool shower on a hot sunny day.

"Hey, Temari right? How about when I win this match me and you go out on a little lunch date or do a little bit of sparing and you give me a few pointers on that wind style chakra you be using." Naruto stated stunning not only Temari but the whole arena from what they just heard.

'Okay, what the hell is with this kid first he brushes off Gara's Killing intent, then he ignores the proctor calling for the match to start and finally comes and asks me out on a date or some training so brazenly, without knowing if he even gonna win the match. He's either insane or insanely strong and from what I heard from Dog Boy down there, he was the dead last of his class. I mean he's not bad looking either with the muscles and those tattoos, plus the extra pair of eyes, he's completely changed from before the exams. But I know what I'm going to do.' Temari thought.

She took her time and analyzed the situation, looking over Naruto's form again before answering. "First what do I get out of it if you win? Second, you do realize I'm the daughter of the Kazekage right? Third, why do you want pointers from me? if you do win there is a probability, we're going to fight each other." She listed off.

"Well, to answer Your first question what you get out of it is training with the strongest genin soon-to-be chunin in the village and the most handsome shinobi in all the lands. Second, I don't care, about that I just asked you out to help me train you having the three B's is just a plus. Third, if I do fight you, it really doesn't matter because it's not like you anyone here has a chance to beat me no matter if they are my first, second, or last opponent I'm going to win." Naruto proclaimed while holding up his fingers as he listed off points.

'Plus, all I really need her for is that wind scythe technique, it's not like I really care whether she likes me or not. She could jump off the Hokages rock headfirst.' He thought but decided to keep that tidbit of information to himself.

"You know what, you got yourself a deal. But you can't get hit once. Blocking and parrying are okay but any clean hits and the deals off. Also, what's the three B's" Temari decided a little stunned at the fact that Naruto didn't care about who she was, shocking the audience again. Feeling a light killing intent coming from the other side room before it disappeared as quickly as it came, she looked around for a moment before ignoring it. It seemed as if no one was stepping up to fight and decided to focus back on the blonde four-eyed kid. 'I can use this to gather some information for the invasion and the kid is not bad looking either, I meant the four eyes are a little weird but it's nothing too strange probably a bloodline or something.'

"Pretty lady you better start thinking about date ideas and what you gonna teach me because you just lost your bet, because that mongrel down there won't even be able to land a hit on me. The three B's are Beautiful, Brutal, and Blonde, It's something I came up with and you got all three. My Beautiful desert flower." Naruto whispered the last part with a wink before jumping off the balcony and landing with a thump.

"Finally, we can start the match. Kiba are you ready, Naruto you ready?" Getting a nod from both of the boys. "Alright begin," Hayate shouted before launching out of the way.

"Kiba you might as well give up, now before you get embarrassed."

"Funny, I was gonna say the same to you Naruto, you might have grown a little bit, grew an extra pair of eyes. You think your hot shit. Please, you're never gonna be Hokage, and you can kiss that date goodbye because I'm gonna finish this in one shot!" Kiba announced crouching down while placing his hands in the standard form to gather chakra. "Ninja Art of Beast Mimicry: All-Four Jutsu!" Chakra flowed through his limbs, turning his dull claws sharp and thick enough to cut through kunai and gorge flesh from the bones, enhancing his physique.

"Stay back Akamaru, this won't take long."

Rushing forward in a blur Kiba leaped into the air heading straight toward Naruto with a howl, leaving behind an anxious Akamaru. Naruto ducked under the clawed fist positioned to knock his head off his shoulders. Diving under another left hook with a smirk, Naruto's own clawed hand shot up clutching the outside of Kiba's elbow holding him in place, his other clenched fist shooting off two quick but powerful blows in succession to Kiba's liver, knocking the wind out of his body. The blows echoed through the arena as if two exploding tags had gone off, displacing the air around the two genin.

But Naruto wasn't finished yet grabbing Kiba's hood and pulling it over his head, pulling on the strings of the hood, tightening it blocking the feral boy's airways, then wrapping the now longed strings around his head. Before spinning Kiba around and kicking him in the ass and pushing the suffocating boy in the direction of his animal companion, tripping the genin in the process.

"Heh, Kiba if this is the best you got, then maybe I should take your place as the head of the Inuzuka clan, I know your milf of a mom is lonely. She's probably ashamed to have a runt like you running around shaming your clan. Speaking of lonely how's your sister Hana doing is she still working as a Veterinarian, I guess I'll stop by and drop you and your mutt off after this match." Taunted Naruto, rubbing his chin in thought as he looked down at the struggling boy.

Trying to untie the strings wrapped around his head, Kiba finally got it off with the help of Akamaru biting through the strings of the hoodie. Ripping the hood off his head exposing his brown mane to the world, gulping in as much air as his lungs could take. Blinking to clear black spots overtaking his vision, Kiba glared up at Naruto's grinning form as if he were trying to burn a hole through him.

"GO, NARUTO! THAT LOSER CAN'T HANDLE YOU, SHOW HIM WHO THE FUTURE HOKAGE IS!" Sakura hollered, leaning over the rail, Kakashi tugging her battle dress to keep her from falling over in her excitement.

Hinata looked down at the battle between her crush and her teammate. 'Ahh, I don't know who I should go for, Kiba-Kun is my teammate, but I love Naruto-Kun. I can't decide.' As the battle in her mind began between Love and loyalty, her brain vs her heart. Her feelings overflowed with turmoil, but it was ultimately her heart, that won out the conflict as 6 years of love brutality squashed the five months of loyalty towards her teammate.

Lightly pushing Akamaru, who was licking his face in worry, Kiba got up from his Knees. "That's it, Naruto! No more holding back, you disrespected me, my clan, and more importantly my family. Your tough talk has gone too far!" Kiba spat his fist clenched as his body shook with rage.

Laughing at the rage across Kiba's face and the meager amount of killing intent and chakra flowing from his body. In comparison to that snake bitch and Zabuza, it was like a small raindrop in comparison to the ocean that was theirs. "I didn't even use my power fully… I just wanted to see how little strength I needed to crush you and your will. So, thank you Kiba for being my little test dummy. It's a little disappointing I only need about 15 percent of my power, I also decided to give you a warning in advance come at me with your full strength, use all your chakra and all your tools, hell even use that mangy mutt. Just know if you don't, you're going to die here and become just another stepping stone in my story of me becoming the strongest in history." Naruto goaded, slightly crouching as his right leg was slightly in front of the other, his right arm in front and his left arm behind it. A devious grin spread across his face, as he let loose dark red energy seeped off his form, the miasma-like chakra boiled and bubbled around him as spider-webbed fissures formed beneath his feet. The malicious energy had a pernicious effect as it spread through the arena.

"You'll regret this… No more holding back, when you're dead I'll take your dream of being the Hokage as a memory to you. Let's go Akamaru!" Grabbing two food pills, feeding one to Akamaru and one to himself. The pill boosted his chakra reserves and turned him even more feral, sharpening his fangs, and claws even more while bulking his body up. But the real results showed in Akamaru, it turned his fur red and increased his minuscule height to that of a medium-sized dog. Drool and foam leaked from his jaws as he snarled in Naruto's direction, before running and jumping on Kiba's back.

Grabbing some smoke bombs from his pouch, Kiba hurled them down to the floor in front of Naruto, blue smoke exploded from the bombs, flooding the arena, and covering Naruto's form from the spectators viewing the match. "Ninja Art Of Beast Mimicry: Man-Beast Clone. Fang over Fang" Kiba roared out.

Spectators stood wide-eyed at the transformation of the pyrene's puppy gone was the red form Akamaru, now replaced by a second Kiba. Akamaru and the real Kiba form blurred, their bodies spinning like a high-power drill of deadly claws and fangs. Hurling into the smoke with reckless abandonment, intending to maim and destroy the four-eyed boy.

Standing still in the smoke, Naruto's enhanced hearing picked up the growls and the displacement of the air around him. Stepping back from a clawed swipe that was aimed at gouging out his eyes, Naruto ducked and dodged underneath the relentless drills, acting as if he was being pressured to lure one of the Kiba's into a false sense of security.

Patiently waiting, he analyzed his opponent's movements, looking for any holes or miscues between the duo attacks. Subtly keeping track of one of the blurring shadows speeding through the smoke with his original eyes, while his other pair tracked the other, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Finally spotting a mistake, Naruto let loose a lightning-fast jab, striking out as a lead fist met the face using the momentum of his opponent to enhance his blow a loud CRUNCH! Echoed through the room, as cartilage crumbled.

"Arr!" Letting out a whimper as he was sent flying out of the smoke, Akamaru rolled to a stop struggling to get up, it felt as if he was hit with a wrecking ball.

"Shit! Akamaru are you ok?" Kiba cried, stopping mid-attack in worry Kiba ran over to his brother in all but blood. Checking over Akamaru's downed form, he pulled some medical gauze out of his pouch before tearing it to a size able to fit in the still-transformed Akamaru's nose to stop the flood of blood flowing from it.

Getting a growl in confirmation, Kiba kept a watchful eye on the smoke to see if Naruto would rush them while he was helping Akamaru but there was no movement as if Naruto was taunting and daring them to come back into the smoke giving them all the advantages could have. 'Damn that bastard… how did he get so strong in so little amount of time, but it doesn't matter where going to win this match!' Kiba thought with a grimace across his face.

"All right Akamaru I'm going to attack first you follow behind me and try to attack above his head while I go for his legs. Alright on my move." Kiba whispered, getting a small bark of affirmation before rushing into the smoke. Unknow to Kiba and his companion Naruto heard every word spoken thanks to his hearing.

Jumping as the real Kiba dove toward his legs trying to slash at his Achilles tendon, Naruto came back down with a diving knee, a hundred and fifty pounds of pure muscle crushing Kiba's spine and back with his full weight, the boy's body cratering the concrete bellow them. As he was on top the boy Naruto pulled a couple of food pills from Kiba's pouch before reeling back with his left leg, kicking the boy in the stomach out of the smoke, breaking a couple of ribs in the process.

Weaving the drill coming from above him, Naruto threw a couple of punches to the upside-down Akamaru drilling him in the ribs. juggling him in the air before wrapping his arms around the still-airborne dog. Leaping up a couple of feet in the air with the struggling Akamaru, Naruto came down piledriving Akamaru onto the arena floor with an untold amount of force, clearing the smoke and debris with a shockwave of air. Releasing the limp body of Akamaru whose head and shoulders were forcibly drilled into the ground. Standing up from the crouch he was in, Naruto reached down and ripped the puppy whose fur was matted with its blood from the hole in the floor.

Lamenting the familiar position, he was in, Kiba pushed off the ground in a daze, struggling to catch his breath, his head was throbbing in pain, and he was pretty sure a couple of his ribs had broken from the beating. Looking around with blurred vision for Akamaru, Kiba spotted something that snapped him out of his confusion and made his blood run cold.

It was Naruto holding Akamaru's limp form by the scruff of his neck, not only was Akamaru's white fur bloodied from whatever machinations he was put through by Naruto. His right eye was swelling shut with purple bruises thick enough to see through his fur, and his right paw was bent at an odd angle.

"LET GO OF AKAMARU RIGHT NOW, NARUTO CAN'T YOU SEE HE HAD ENOUGH?" Raged Kiba as he attempted to rush Naruto, only to sluggishly stumble towards Naruto, tripping over his feet halfway there.

"Kiba, since you want him so bad how bout, you come get him!" Naruto mocked as he stretched his arm out and shook Akamaru with a gentle smile and a sadistic gleam in his eyes. The smile turned into a bloodthirsty grin as Naruto, suddenly forced Akamaru's mouth open and shoved the food pills down his throat.

"AKAMARU!"

Tossing Akamaru's convulsing body in the air, Naruto bolted towards the distracted Kiba hitting him with a devastating uppercut and knocking him into the air, before grabbing his leg and slamming him over and over, blood and other bodily fluids flying over the arena as Kiba's mind went in and out of consciousness with every slam. Naruto stopped for a moment and pulled Kiba up by his left leg till he was at eye level with him.

Naruto observed his handy work. Kiba's face resembled a bruised bag of apples, as red lumps formed all over his face, his nose was bent out of shape, and blood leaked from a wound above his right eye his nose, and mouth, he also seemed to be missing a few molars as well.

"Hey Kiba, you knew this already, but they classified both of us as genin. Me… The future's strongest Shinobi and you… an insect! But you should be proud of yourself for making it this far. You're strong Kiba but you barely scratched the surface of true jutsu mastery." Vision darkening those were the last words Kiba heard before going to the realm of Morpheus. Tossing Kiba over his shoulder onto the gurney the Med-ninjas brought out called by the proctor. High-fiving Sakura's out-stretched hand, Naruto returned to his spot beside his team and was met with congratulations from the awake Sasuke and Kakshi-sensei.

"Great job Naruto, a little brutal for my liking but you got the job done and Kiba knew what he signed up for when he entered the exams," Kakashi said a little louder than normal so his voice could reach the staring sensei's and genins. Closing his eyes until he heard something that piqued his interest again.

The next fight was Rock Lee versus a guy from the Sand, Gaara.

Naruto and the others watched as the beginnings of the fight were strictly hand-to-hand, most of it was Lee defending from omnidirectional sand that was protecting Gaara.

"Kakshi-sensei is his sand filled with chakra," Naruto said with an uncharacteristic seriousness. He sat up to observe the match with unblinking eyes.

Kakashi, Gai, and the rest turned to him with a frown. Down below Lee back flipped away then blurred forward to reengage.

"Obviously, otherwise he couldn't control the sand." Said Sasuke with narrowed eyes, unknowingly saying what was on the Jōnin's minds.

Naruto shook his head, "Yeah, sure, I wouldn't have mentioned it if it was just his chakra! But it's giving off a different type of chakra in it. It feels strangely familiar." He said with a frown at the fact that he couldn't place a finger on where he felt the familiar feeling.

The Jōnin who managed to hear him narrowed their eyes at the information, particularly Kakashi uncovered his Sharingan. Gai who was next to him leaned over as his rival worked to confirm his student's information.

Kakashi covered his eye with a sigh, "Whatever you're feeling Naruto is beyond what I can see. To me it's just all his chakra in it, that's all."

Lee landed on the statue after a series of dodges and Gai, having more insight into Gaara now, decided to allow him to remove his weights. Rock Lee took those words with genuine excitement as he happily revealed the weights beneath his leg warmers then he quickly held them up after removing them.

Gaara merely watched silently, still showing no emotion on his face. Which was ironic considering the tattoo on his forehead of the kanji for love.

Naruto smirked at the interaction not fully understanding the ceremony of the situation, "Huh, you wouldn't think taking a few weights off would make someone that happy?" He wondered.

"Who knows with those two." Kakashi sighed tiredly, long past trying to figure out Gai's eccentric were unfortunately passed on to his student.

Everyone watched as the weight fell to the ground, wondering what the big deal was. The Sand-watching didn't believe it would matter all that much.

Till the earth shook from the weights hitting the ground.

The reaction from everyone in the room; from Genin to the supervising Jōnin, Orochimaru in disguse, Jiraiya, and The Third observing up top.

"They're insane."

Naruto shook his head in amusement, "I'd love to have a fight with Lee, he's got some incredible strength and he's that fast with those weights and little chakra helping him out!" He said lightly.

Lee shot off towards Gaara several times quicker than before. Gai cheered him on with all the Genin muttering in shock at the speed.

Naruto was able to easily follow the fight despite the incredible speed Lee was moving at. Gaara seemed just as surprised and unable to follow the green beast as the rest of the Genin.

After removing his weights Lee's movements were not only faster but far more precise. Naruto decide to watch him far more closely. The way Lee's muscles would contract for his movements, the place of his feet, the way his shoulders angled, everything Lee did Naruto soaked up with glee, but Naruto could tell that he would have to train and hone his fighting style even more, to contend with Lee in Taijutsu

Now that his brain was processing information hundreds of times faster, he was able to pick apart what was happening in incredible detail. Lee's fighting style revolved around striking very hard and very fast.

At the same time, Gaara was able to maneuver his sand in more widespread ways now that he was directing it with his hands.

"What's he doing? His bandages are moving?" Naruto wondered aloud getting Kakashi's head to turn towards him before he watched the fight more closely.

True to Naruto's observations, Lee managed to kick Gaara in the chin launching him into the air proceeded to follow up with an impressive series of kicks, each impact reverberating through the room getting small flinches from the Genin at the powerful display. The bandages wrapped around Gara allowing Lee to grab and spin the Sand Ninja into the hard ground.

Naruto tilted his head in wonder while watching the turn of events. He looked over at Kakashi and Guy who were talking back and forth lowly then to the Genin around the stands watching in anticipation with impressed looks on their faces at Lee's capabilities.

Then he decided to ruin it for fun!

"That was a pretty good substitution by Sand Boy!" Naruto said with a devilish smile. "Hope Lee isn't hurt too bad by the backlash, since he didn't really accomplish much."

The ninja around him looked at him in shock, Team Gai in horror, before turning back to the fight watch as Lee's attack landed and was revealed to be wasted.

"How the hell?" Muttered Tenten while watching Lee barely dodge the sand due to the pain from Lotus.

"When…" Muttered Neji.

Gai was frantic while watching the fight progress, "I didn't even see it!" He shouted in shock.

"It was during the kicks." Answered Kakashi with his Sharingan exposed, "When you closed your eyes to pray, he switched out in a flash. I would pull him from the fight Gai, he's in no condition to continue.

Gai glared at his rival but before he could talk Naruto spoke up lazily, "Nah he's gonna be fine! He's going to be even more hurt if you decide to stop this match without him giving up. Because If Lee's anything like me we live for these types of battles. Where it's all or nothing. Either dying or winning there's no in-between and I know I'd rather die than give up. And besides it looks like he has another trick up his, but what's he doing?" He questioned goose bumps flaring up his arms from the intense battle.

"They're called Gates, the Eight Inner Gates to be exact." Answered Kakashi while turning his Sharingan enhanced glare to Gai, "And you taught how to open them to a Genin. You're going to cripple that boy."

Gai gave his rival a side eye before focusing back on his struggling student while leaning forward the railing. His fingers were pushing into the metal railing due to his nervous squeezing.

"You wouldn't get it. Having everything come to you so easily." He said in a low baritone, "For the rest of us, we have to claw and crawl for every bit of strength. It's even worse for Lee! Even the most basic Ninjutsu and Genjutsu is beyond him!"

His expression turned fond as Lee was slowly getting faster as he was overcoming the backlash primary lotus.

"Lee just wants to prove he's a splendid ninja with his hard work! I only did everything in my power to help him with his dream!" He proclaimed proudly.

Naruto smiled down at Lee, he was truly impressed with the boy's drive to achieve his dream. Not to mention the evidence of thousands of hours of hard work getting him to where he is now with his lack of Ninjutsu or Genjutsu.

"I think he's gotten there already Bushy Brow Sensei." Naruto interjected lightly, "Something I've recently learned is that Ninja don't always improve on a slow curve, it can be a sharp and immediate increase as well."

Lee's movements became even sharper than before as his body was acclimating to the Eight Gat activation. His eyes flared with incredible power, and his entire body shone brightly with green chakra. Every movement was perfectly executed and delivered with tremendous force destroying the fighting arena. Gaara was pushing even more chakra into the sand, trying to keep up with green Genin's but was being sent flying by a rapid aerial combo.

"I mean he's already adapting and improving with every second. I can tell that he's become way better than he was before this fight. If he keeps going as he is, then he'll no doubt become one of the best Taijutsu users the Leaf Village has ever seen!" Naruto finished with a small smile as his eyes tried to take in every detail.

Gai looked down happily, a bit of water popping up in his eyes, "Thank you for those words Young Naruto, I'll trust those instincts of yours to feel's Lee's incredible potential!"

Naruto laughed in response, "Leave it to me!" He said with a thumbs up.

The rest of the fight was both incredible and terrifying for those watching.

Lee's explosive use of five of the eight inner gates showed Naruto that there was so much out thing's he didn't know. While observing the world with his new eyes that allowed him to begin to understand better, he was only now realizing that he had a fundamental lack of knowledge to connect the dots. He promised himself that he would master every form of jutsu and combat to become so proficient that no one could ever contend with him, and the world would have to acknowledge his greatness.

As the fight was reaching a climax Lee was completely unable to fight and fell to the ground, his giving out under the stress of the fifth gate. Gaara didn't hesitate and shot his sand at the boy with a bloodthirsty smile on his face.

The Jōnin, Gai in particular, were about to rush to save Lee but a blur shot forward first stopping sand from even touching Lee. The resulting impact blasted all the sand away making most turn a from the shockwave.

Naruto had shot forward and smacked the sand away with a hand packed with dense chakra. He to Lee with a frown, based on the injuries, it would likely take weeks if not months of rehabilitation back into fighting shape. Though it would have been nigh impossible if Gaara was able to crush Lee in the sand like he wanted.

"Hey, raccoon eyes! You won, you already got to fight him, but I didn't so don't ruin my fun. If you try anything else, then I'll personally send you to hell myself!" Naruto threatned with a frown while standing guard over Lee as he subconsciously released his chakra.

Gaara began breathing heavily at Naruto's appearance, his chakra began moving erratically as his instincts flared beyond what he'd ever felt. Naruto's presence drove Gaara to near hysteria as the beast within was screaming to crush the nine-tailed brat.

In the next moment Baki, the Sand Jōnin who looked visibly nervous, appeared in front of Gaara arms spread. Gai and Kakashi also landed in front of Naruto looking serious and bored respectful

"Ah you guys didn't have to help me out I would have taken these losers out!" Naruto laughed while picking up Lee, his grin becoming fiendish, "I mean that Sandy Jōnin over there seems pretty nervous looking at me!"

Kakashi sighed tiredly, "Please try not to cause an incident with The Hidden Sand Village Naruto, you already asked the Kazekage's daughter out on a date."

Baki interjected, "I think we can end this and move on. Gaara go back to the stands with Temari and Kankuro." He ordered, somehow snapping the blood-lusted boy out of it and getting him to leave in a swirl of sand.

Gai moved to take Lee from Naruto, "Thank you for jumping in Naruto. I was hesitant to interfere but that was the right call." He said shamefully while holding his nearly crippled student. He knew that if the sand wrapped around Lee it would have been the end of his journey.

Kakashi patted his rival on the back before grabbing Naruto to Body-Flicker back to the stands.

"Try not to interfere again, they may disqualify you." Kakashi chastised lightly.

Naruto frowned in frustration at the thought of being disqualified for saving a future rival, which caused his chakra to flare subconsciously, he didn't even notice it was escaping him, Everyone in the room who wasn't in the clearing during the second test felt the weight of Naruto in person for the first time, it was very different than an instinctual fear from the flare. Now that had a front-row seat to it, the Genin were visibly terrified and unable to move while the Jōnin and Hokage became extremely weary.

Again Somehow it was Sakura of all people who smacked Naruto on the back of the head, "Stop it you scaring everyone, dumbass." She told him tiredly; her hand was shaking but she managed to hold it steady knowing in her heart that he was still the same Naruto for the most part.

Naruto's presence instantly went back to normal, and he looked around surprised, "Huh? My bad I forgot I was surrounded by weaklings" Everyone aside from Sasuke, and the weaker Jōnin Sensei's was looking at him warily. It was a different look than what he was used to getting as a kid, one of loathing and apprehension, this was just plain fear. But he really didn't care what anyone thought of him, he just realized it was like trying to get a lion to eat just vegetables or crying to a hurricane or tsunami to stop destroying everything it was useless, and only the strong could hope to speak to him.

He turned to the high stands where the Hokage and some other old dude, were standing and shot over. He really didn't need to go and speak with him because Kakashi was right behind him, but he just wanted to confirm his thoughts.

Hiruzen, Jiraiya and a select few were able to follow Naruto's approach, but they were blown away by the boy, His speed was easily on par with skilled Jōnin, although his movements weren't exactly skillful, it was d masterful chakra control allowing him this speed not physical skill.

Landing on the railing Naruto looked at the Hokage with a frown then felt a bit vindictive which caused his eyes to crinkle in amusement, "Hey, old man, is everyone here so lame that I scare them that much, I don't get it?" He asked with a whisper shout making sure everyone could hear him to twist the knife, because he found it pretty funny that everyone was so scared of him now.

'That prankster personality and his normal ego take on a much different tone now that he's this capable.' Mused Hiruzen. Had it been anyone else he would squash such things here and now, but Naruto's childhood flashed into his brain, and he felt the blond probably deserved some respect as recompense.

Jiraiya was the one to answer, "You may not get it, but your chakra presence is far stronger than most would have ever encountered, much less greenhorns like we have here." He said seriously. He didn't want to mention that the number of people he's felt that scared him more with just their chakra fact just two.

The Third Hokage and Hanzo of the Salamanders.

Naruto nodded the information then turned to Jiraiya, "Who the hell are you, ya old man?" He quite comically.

Instead of being put off Jiraiya grinned happily at the question, "Who am I you ask!" He shouted getting into a pose and he readied his Summoning Jutsu.

Hiruzen interjected, "He's a former student of mine, Jiraiya." He answered making Jiraiya fall over and sulk due to his intro being interrupted.

Naruto stared at Jiraiya for several moments causing both Hiruzen and Jiraiya to look at him cur Jiraiya felt like he was being broken down to the smallest details by those eyes and found that he didn't like it one bit. Right as he was about to say something Naruto turned around.

"So… he's an old guy like you. Cool, I guess. You must be pretty strong huh, geezer." He teased before speeding back over to his team.

Jiraiya turned to his sensei with his face serious, "I don't know what happened to him but he's unlike anyone I've ever come across. I only sensed two to three tails of the Nine-Tails chakra either, it was like it was completely gone from his body." He said while watching Naruto get lightly reprimanded by Kakashi for bothering them.

"I would like to learn more about his new form and what he's able to do, but for now let's assume it's unique to him and be thankful he's been given such a gift with those men out there looking for him." Hiruzen said with a puff of his pipe. "Not to mention Orochimaru lurking around itching to cause trouble. We have need of Naruto's newfound strength soon."

"He'll need to do some growing up to match his powerup before he's all that reliable," Jiraiya said with a snort getting a laugh out of the Hokage.

"Ha! He's always been a brat, now he's a brat with terrible power. You saw how fast and strong he was in that match." Hiruzen said lightly, "If he were to hammer in the basics of Taijutsu, and chakra control he may become faster and stronger than any of us with just chakra enhancement. We also don't know what he's like when pushing it to the max."

"I would honestly put him on a level above most Jōnin in the village shinobi, we need to see his abilities with Ninjutsu and Genjutsu to really understand but as of now only the very best would be able to face him and win." It was a crazy thing to say but Jiraiya believed it after getting a small up-close look at Naruto didn't know it, but he was giving off a vibe of supreme confidence, that when mixed with strength made him all the more fearsome.

"Indeed." Hiruzen agreed, "I would have normally allowed you to go about meeting and training your own way but as of now we will be dropping all pretenses. He has awakened a new bloodline that granted him unknown abilities. After we speak with him, he is to always be with you at all times, I do not want Danzo to have time to approach him. That is the last thing anyone needs, and I do not want to hear about it from the other elders that he needs to be trained 'properly'."

Jiraiya could only nod silently while he mourned his precious research time in the coming weeks even though he could understand the gravity of the situation. It wouldn't take long for Naruto's awakened abilities to spread through the village and then the continent. Mix in his now uncanny resemblance to, now that his whiskers were gone, things are gonna change. In his expert spy opinion, Naruto would have the month before everyone in a position of power to have at least heard a rumor about him.

In their discussions, Hiruzen and Jiraiya didn't notice that the last of the prelim fights were finished the winning Genin were gathered on the floor again to determine their opponents for the finals.

Hayate gestured to a small podium with a box atop it. "We're not going to make it complicated, number. Number 1 will fight number 2 and so on. Naruto Uzumaki, please step forward."

Naruto walked up silently and drew his number, funnily enough, it was number 1.

From there it continued, Naruto watched on as it was decided that Puppet Dude would fight Shino, and Shikamaru would fight Wind Girl. Dosu the sound guy got the highest number meaning a free round, finally, Sasuke drew his number with an semi excited expression he showed it to everyone else, he had been hoping for 2 to fight Naruto but he got 3 meaning it was going to be history in the making Hyuga vs Uchiha the battle of the strongest Dojutsu's.

Sasuke could only clench his fists as he stared forward ignoring everyone.

"So these are the matchups for the first round of the finals. We need time to allow the dignitaries of the Kazekage's to arrive, so you have one month to train. I would keep everyone in the finals in mind and prepare, you don't know who you could end up facing should you win." Instructed Hayate to the hopefuls.

Getting ready to leave so he could immediately start his training, Naruto took a detour in the direction of the sand ninja approaching until he was right in front of the group.

"Temari I hope you ain't forget about our deal and I even put on a little show for you.' Naruto said with a waggle of his eyebrows while ignoring the death glare he was getting from Temari.

"Of course, I didn't I'm a woman of my word, you won without the dog touching you. So meet me a week from today at Konoha's Hills so I could have time to think of a training schedule and you could have time to plan out where you're going to take me for the next couple of weeks." Temari said, ignoring the flirtatious look she was getting from Naruto before walking off with her teacher and Kankuro.

"Naruto Uzumaki, Mother is calling for your blood and she will taste it, so enjoy your last days on this plane before I snuff out your existence." Gara sneered, arms crossed against his chest and teal eyes locked on Naruto like a caged beast waiting for its next meal.

Shaking with laughter before turning completely serious Naruto stood with his head high as he looked down on Gara. "Gara, I should say the same to you, because I'm going to show you that you're just another ordinary guy in a world of monsters. You're just another big fish in a small pond and I'm the chef that's going to place you on my chopping board and rip your scales off one by one."

Not needing to speak another word both Genin disappeared in a flash, one off to train and prepare for his upcoming battle and the other off to find something to satiate his mother's blood lust.
