Joseph Marin: Thank you!
X3runner: Very true, while Pyrrha is powerful, her team had her back, but how do you think she's doing without them?
But it was me Dio: Ok... I should have clarified a bit more, while the events of Haven happened kind of like Canon, certain things didn't. For example, Cinder doesn't target Weiss because Jaune was never there to antagonize her, and Cinder doesn't have Maiden powers due to what happened atop Beacon's CCT tower (Will be explained in time) So no, Weiss isn't dead.

Ren sat atop Jaune and delivered punch after punch with anger on his face as around them, the town was nearly burned to the ground, and bodied surrounded them. "I told you we should have evacuated! I TOLD YOU!" Ren cried with tears as he threw another punch down at Jaune.
The blond was not fighting back, as a matter of fact, he was taking it and crying, as he listened to his friend.
"Why the hell did I even listen to you!? Because of you, everyone is dead!" Ren cried. "Why didn't you listen to me you son of a bitch!" Ren cried.
Nora rushed over to him, tears in her eyes as she grabbed Ren and tried to pull him off of Jaune, "That's enough Ren! Stop it!" she cried.
Ren didn't stop and when he still felt Nora still trying to pull him off, he turned around and slapped her away and she cried in pain as she backed away in shock. Hearing Nora cry out in pain and seeing what Ren had just done, Jaune stopped taking the beating and punched Ren in the face before rolling over and getting atop the dark-haired boy and started throwing his own punches.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Jaune cried as he punched Ren in the face.
Ren felt the blow but quickly grabbed Jaune and threw him over him and both boys got up and charged at one another, tackling each other to the ground and fighting. Nora rushed back over and pulled them apart, stopping the fight.
"This never would have happened if you had just listened to me!" Ren told him. "Their deaths are on your Hands!"
"REN!" Nora cried.
Jaune growled, "Fuck you!" Jaune charged at him.
Nora turned to him and tried to stop him too, but lost in the sea of emotions she punched Jaune in the face, and the blonde fell to the floor and looked back at Nora with a shocked face.
Realizing what she's done, Nora's eyes widened with regret as she looked at her leader. "J-Jaune...! I-I didn't-!"
However, Jaune just got up and walked away as Ren moved back and left Nora where she was, and the ginger-haired girl fell to her knees and began to cry, wishing that Pyrrha was here to help her, to comfort her.
This was the day that broke JNR apart.
Back in the present, Jaune was punched backward but he regained himself and looked at the man he was fighting, Jaune glared and charged at him and ducked under a swing and then wrapped his arms around the man's waist, raised him up, and threw the man to the floor of the arena and once the man was down, Jaune stood up and stomped the man in the face, the blonde teen heard the crack of the man's nose and saw the blood leaking out from his nose but Jaune didn't stop, and he kept stomping the man in the face and then heard the sound of the bell and despite wanting to keep bashing the man in the face, Jaune stopped and backed away.
A person came into the arena and checked the man's pulse and when it was confirmed the man was not dead, Jaune was declared the winner and was given the money and he then left the arena. He went back up to the bar for a few drinks.
When he sat at the bar, he took a quick shot before the bartender poured another, and this time, Jaune swirled the drink in the glass and stared off into the distance, thinking about what Sun had told him yesterday.
"But what about Pyrrha? Huh?" Jaune asked, "She wanted to know about you guys, she wanted to know how you were doing?"
He gripped his glass as anger began to build up inside of him, but it was stopped when someone took the seat next to him and spoke to him.
"Mr. Arc, not surprised to see you here,"
Jaune turned to look at the person only to see none other than Headmaster Theodore. Jaune was surprised to see him here, but at the same time, didn't care why he was there. "What are you here for, Sir?" Jaune asked.
"Wondering why you're here in this place, Mr. Arc," Theodore told him.
The Bartender then approached the Headmaster, "What can I get you, sir?" He asked.
"Rum and coke please," Theodore said.
Jaune simply smiled at the Headmaster's order and took a sip of his own before finally answering the older man. "Isn't it obvious?" He asked the Headmaster. "I'm here to drink my sorrows away,"
Theodore sighed, "I can't blame you, Mr. Arc, you're not the first man to drink away his pain, nor do I doubt, you will be the last," Theodore said.
Jaune looked at him, "You here to kick me out of Shade?" he asked.
"In a sense, yes," Theodore said, "Tonight is you're "Final" night as a Student of Shade Academy"
Jaune raised a brow at him, "Why are you saying it like that?" Jaune asked.
The Bartender brought Thedore his Rum and coke and Theodore thanked the man Theodore smiled at the young man, "Because Mr. Arc... I need you for something, something that only you can do," He told the young man.
"And what's that?" Jaune asked with a peered glare.
"For the past couple of weeks I've investigated the Crown, a small organization that CFVY ran into on their own mission on the forms of Carmine Escolados and Bertilak Celadon, and yet I can not uncover anything, which is why I need you," Theodore said.
"Me?" Jaune asked with a chuckle, "What could I possibly do for you? You're forgetting who I am and my countless failures as a team leader, so, what could a fuck up like me, do to help stop these people?" He asked.
Theodore took a drink and then set it down as he looked at Jaune, "During my investigation and a statement in CFVY's report, I believe they are hunting after people who have unique and powerful quirks... you are able to boost yourself and others, A rare and powerful semblance, a semblance that I'm sure the Crown would be very interested in," Theodore told him.
Figuring out what the Headmaster was getting at, Jaune smiled and took a drink of his drink before he slammed the glass down on the counter, still smiling. "You want me to go undercover, use my semblance to get in, and relay information back to you about whatever plans they have, right?" Jaune asked.
Theodore nodded, "Correct,"
Jaune scoffed, "Figures," He said, "Do all headmasters manipulate their students into doing dangerous things for "The Greater good"? Or for their "Destinies"?" Jaune asked.
Theodore let out a sigh, "Mr. Arc... I understand how you feel, believe it or not, I detest this part of my job," He told the blonde, "I hate the lies, the deceit, and the secrets... I wish I could tell the truth about what really is going on behind the scenes, I wish I could, but I know that if people knew if they discovered what truly lies in the darkness, they wouldn't be able to handle it," He finished.
Jaune looked at him, "What is happening behind the scenes, Headmaster?" Jaune asked, his tone laced with venom.
Theodore took another drink before answering, "In due time, Mr. Arc," He said, "I will tell you in due time, but know this... There is a war coming, Mr. Arc, I don't know when and I don't know who we'll be fighting, but it's coming, and I believe we'll need you," He said.
With that, Theodore left a lien bill on the table for the bartender, got up from his seat, and made his way out.
Jaune twirled his drink in his glass and looked at it as it slowly swirled around, "You didn't come to me for this just because I have a powerful semblance... what else is there?" Jaune asked, not looking at the headmaster as he drank.
Theodore turned around and looked at the young man with a soft smile, "I already told you, this coming war is gonna need you, Mr. Arc, you may not believe it yourself, you may believe I'm lying and trying to use you, but I do believe that you will do great things in the future... the world is gonna need Jaune Arc," he said. "Come to my office later tonight and we'll begin the mission, if you are up to it, of course,"
Theodore turned back around and walked out of the bar/club and Jaune sat there, looking at his drink for a while before he stopped twirling it. "The world's gonna need me, huh?" Jaune spoke aloud to himself with a small sad smile. He took one final swig of his drink and then set down a Lien bill for the bartender and left, following behind the headmaster.

"So, what can you tell us about the two?" He asked Theodore.
"Carmine's an extremely skillful, cunning individual, at first, every fiber of her being oozes style, and a cool Huntress-in-training, such as Ms. Adel," Theodore told him.
Jaune rolled his eyes, "Right... but I'm guessing that was just an act,"
Theodore nodded, "She's cold and ruthless and is perfectly fine with actively participating in human and child trafficking, as long as she's paid, she is perfectly willing to kill people, sometimes in brutal manners, for example, she tried to use my claustrophobia against me by burying me alive in the sand," he replied. "However, Unlike her partner, Bertilak, Carmine is cordial and approachable,"
Jaune nodded, "What about Bertilak?" He asked.
"Bertilak's personality is 10 times worse," Theodore told him, "He's confrontational and hostile towards others, easily angered due to his impatience and easily angered, demeaning of others, and racist towards Faunus,"
Jaune nodded, "So technically, the most reasonable out of the two and the one with actual brains is Carmine?"
Theodore nodded, "Correct,"
Jaune nodded back, "Good to know," He said. "Who else is gonna know about this?" He asked.
Theodore looked at him, "Just you and me," He told him, "It's safer this way," He said.
Jaune looked at him, "You don't trust anyone else, do you?" He asked.
"Yes," Theodore told him. "Some students may be undercover for the crown as well as some of the staff,"
Jaune nodded, "So I'll be going in solo... great," he said with a sarcastic tone. "So, what's the plan?" Jaune asked.
Theodore looked at the young knight with a serious look, "The plan is..."
Ren and Nora walked down the hall, heading to get some training done. When they woke up, they saw that Jaune had not returned to the dorm once again, which saddened them as they wished he would stay for the morning, or talk to them, but they knew that was going to be hard after everything that had happened.
Yet despite all that, they both wanted to fix things between them, Ren wanted to apologize for what he said to his leader, to his friend, to his brother. Ren knew Jaune blamed himself for what happened on the mission and didn't need him to say anything, yet Ren blamed him, beat him, and shunned him.
Nora simply wanted her leader back, wanted him to go back to how he was before Beacon's fall before they had to leave Vale... before Pyrrha abandoned them. She hated Pyrrha for that, she hated Pyrrha for everything she did, and yet, she still loved and cared for her, wanted her to stay safe and alive, and yet, she hated the one person she could call a sister.
Suddenly, Professor Rumpole appeared from around the corner and her eyes landed on them and she had a stern look on her face and she quickly stopped them. "Both of you, stop where you are, now," She said sternly.
They both did but were confused as to why she was mad, she then gestured for them to follow her back to the headmaster's office, which they did. Once they arrived at the office, they saw that not only was Headmaster Theodore there, but so were team CFVY and SSSN.
Ren was confused and looked at the two teams with a raised brow, "What's going on?" She asked.
Coco shrugged, "We don't know either, Headmaster Theodore called us in and sent Rumpole to fetch you guys," She replied.
Rumpole then looked at them, "I'll tell you what is going on," She seethed with anger, She then pointed at the two, "One of them has betrayed this school and freed known rouge huntsmen!" she declared.
Nora glared at the professor, "We didn't do anything like that!" Nora cried with anger.
Rumpole glared at the ginger girl, "You and Mr. Ren may not have... but that leader of yours has!" She said.
Hearing this, everyone was shocked, but none more so than the last two remaining members of JNPR.
Ren looked at her with a stunned and horrified look, not able to process what he had just told them about his leader and friend. "Wh-What?" He asked.
This time, Theodore spoke, "I'm afraid it's true," he said. "We received word that Mr. Arc broke out Carmine and Bertilak,"
Coco looked in shock, "What!?" She cried.
Ren stepped forward with a glare, "I don't believe it!" He cried.
Rumpole glared back at the young man, "He wounded the local law enforcement and freed the two rouges before escaping into the desert without a trace!" she cried. "He's betrayed this school and everyone here!"
Ren growled as he looked at the vice headmistress.
Velvet stepped forward, and looked at the Headmaster, "Do you know why Jaune did this?" She asked.
Theodore sighed, "Mr. Arc has been on a downward spiral for a long time, perhaps it was only a matter of time," He said sadly.
Ren's anger began to get the better of him but he simply walked out of the room and left, with Nora quickly following after him.
Theodore sighed once more and looked at teams SSSN and CFVY, "I hate to do this but as of now, Mr. Arc is an Enemy, I know some of you are close with him and his team, but... this can not go unpunished, so I'll be putting you in charge of capturing Mr. Arc should he resurface," He told them. "Can you do it?" He asked.
Sun, Neptune, Velvet, Fox, Yatsuhashi, and Coco remained quiet for a moment before they nodded slowly.
Theodore nodded, "Good, then you are all dismissed," He told them.
With that, both teams left the office and as they did, Theodore sighed, knowing that they were very much distraught by the news of Jaune's "betrayal" and he very much knew that when the time came, they would no doubt lose trust in him, something he would regret greatly.
Much like Ozpin, Theodore cared deeply for the lives of his students and wanted them to put their trust in him for their education and their wellbeing, and yet, here he was, playing them like pieces on a chessboard and hiding secrets... Something he was never fond of when he joined Ozpin's circle.
Back at the JNR dorm room, Ren and Nora entered the room and Ren walked over to his dresser, Nora shut the door behind her and she turned around to Ren and saw his hands still balled up into fists. In a split second, Ren stepped back and kicked the shelf, he kept kicking it as his breathing grew heavy.
"Ren! Stop it!" Nora told him.
Ren pulled back to kick the shelf again, however, he took a few breaths before he put his foot down, backed away, and sat on his bed. "How could he do this to us!?" he cried out.
Nora looked at Ren with a sad expression, "Ren..."
"HOW NORA!? HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO US!?" Ren cried again, "HOW COULD HE JUST TURN HIS BACK O-ON EVERYTHING WE'VE STOOD FOR!? HOW COULD HE JUST-!? RRRAAAHHH!" Ren cried as he punched the wall next to him, cracking it.
"Ren... you know why he did this..." Nora said sadly, "You know why... he turned his back on us because we turned our backs on him,"
Ren didn't look at her, his angry expression slowly faded away and turned into sadness, as tears finally began to form and fall from his eyes. The huntsman in training finally began to sob and Nora could also no longer hold back her own emotions as she wept along with her teammate.
It was here that team JNPR would never be the same as it once was, nor would JNPR ever be whole again, for the time being, it seemed that the team who cared deeply for one another and found a family amongst themselves... was dead.
And it would remain so... for a good long while...
