The Mimic
Summary-Harry has always had a talent for mimicking voices. He could make his voice sound like anyone he wanted it to sound like, be it male or female, with just a little practice on his part. Then when he found out he could also shift his features to look like anyone he wanted to as well, Harry knew that he had something that could save him from the hell that was his so-called family; he had something he could finally use to make a name for himself with. Now, years later Tsuna, and his new guardians, are going to meet up with the now world-famous hitman and assassin only known as The Mimic.

Chapter five
Harry or as everyone else now knew him as, or was going to know him as, besides Mimic that is, Hari Imita shook out his currently blood red hair. Letting it fall in a slight wave to just below his shoulders as he did this Hari debated making it even longer, before deciding making it any longer at the moment would be more of a hinderance than anything else. Besides the color itself made it eye catching enough it really didn't need to be any longer for the plans he had.
After deciding this Hari, going by his new name even mental as a way to be sure to answer to it, rubbing his now bright violet eyes. Something that got a couple of jokes out of Reborn considering just what his primary as well as most known flames was.
And eyes that were even more notable as Hari and not only let his natural full double eyelashes come out, but had even outline said eyes with eyeliner to make them even more notable. Mainly because he knew doing so would bother a certain someone.
Not that that mattered at the moment consider he was now preparing for what would be his first day of school in Namimori Middle School. After all he had agreed to go along with Reborn's plan and one of the first steps, besides make the new identity that he had, was to actually go to school with the others in the first place.
More importantly, at least to Harri, it would be where he would get to meet the other cloud he had been watching before. The one who had gained his attention before and at the same time had made his more cloudy instincts perk up in ways it normally didn't. Making Harri interested in see how said could would react to him pretty much ignoring the rules he set up. Not to mention doing so on what the Teen in question clearly saw as his own Territory.
Something Harri felt was bound to be entertaining, and no, no matter how much Reborn hinted at it, to the visible horror of Tsuna who had overheard it, Harri wasn't trying to flirt with Kyoya Hibari in any way; just poke fun of him a bit. And hopefully get a good fight out of him at the same time.
What could he say but honestly, he was getting a bit bord and poking fun of another cloud would very easily ease that boredom for a bit. Not to mention that a fight between the two of them would not only let Harri know how far his skills have come along but could also help both him and Kyoya know what they needed to improve on.
Because Harri knew that while he was skilled, he was nowhere near at his best when it came to fighting. Considering he really was more of a jack of trades at the moment what with the several really different forms he had. All of which had either their own fighting style or several similar ones if the forms were close enough in build. Each with room for improvement considered he was only fifteen.
And on the other had Kyoya could only improve so much with the fighters he had in this town. As they only had so much strength or skills to being with, all of which Kyoya had already bested and caused them to fear him; making it so they no longer challenged him anymore.
So, it was a win win for both of them where that was concerned; at least where improvement was concerned. Even if Harri knew the other cloud most likely wouldn't be seeing it that way. But honestly at least it would be fun for him, even if he did get looks of utter horror from the others around him when he brought this up.
Hell, it may have been because of those looks that Harri had buckled down and went full throttle with his plans in the first place. As when he had first decided to do so it had only been with the plan of poking Hibari a little to see how he would react and see if his information was correct.
Like just having his hair longer than was allowed and playing the naive unaware teen or something like that when a certain Perfect brought it up. Now though he was doing it was purely because he wanted to.
Best yet, he wasn't going to even going to be trying the naive unaware teen part he had been planning on earlier, as he always was more of a flaunting breaking the rule in your face kind of guy anyway. Not even his so-called family could really beat that out of him, and it only got worse when he was on his own and free to fully be himself.
Which was why Harri was meeting up with Tsuna and the others like he was. First with his hair longer than was allowed and best yet completely unbound showing just how long it was. The bright color of it getting hit by the sun in such a way that it brought attention clearly to it.
He was tempted to even hang some hair ornaments in it to make it even more eye catching but the fact the hair in question was too silky to tie ornaments in it easily without them falling out stopped him from doing so. Besides he never really was comfortable with things in his hair and often avoided doing so unless he had to otherwise and it made the hair in question too easy to grab in his opinion.
Then there was the uniform that he was wearing. It was the correct uniform, as he honestly didn't have a choice in that matter considering he wanted to anger Kyoya not be kicked out of the school. It was just the uniform also had a couple of adjustments Harri had made that he personally knew went against what the discipline committee allowed. Including not having the tie, having it partially unbutton showing at the top of his chest, and the arms rolled up showing what Harri knew looked like a tattoo.
One that wasn't there as it was actually a very detailed in drawing Harri had put there when he was bored but still, he knew the reactions having it would bring none the less so he had made it so it didn't wash away, and placed in such a way it could be easily mistaken as a tattoo. All done with a little help from both his flames as well as his magic. Which again was against the rules that had been in place.
Sure, he could make what was considered a real tattoo with his shifting abilities but the idea he could easily wipe away the 'tattoo' in question and the look on the others faces as he did so, stopped him from doing so. That and the fact he didn't want to have what could be considered a permanent identification mark on any of his forms, at least not what would or could be considered one of the well-known once, stopped him from doing so.
He had been tempted to add several piercings as well but considering the fact he only had his eyebrow pierced, more than once of course, and his hair hid most of that decided against adding more. As he honestly didn't want to draw too much negative attention towards his new form. And piercing, as well as what could be considered a tattoo, really draw rather negative attention in what could be considered a small town.
Besides he didn't want any pieces actually pulled out in the fight he knew that was going to come and he really wouldn't put it past Kyoya to do so. As he knew the teen in question really wouldn't hesitate in doing so; especially considering it was against his rules to have such piercings.
All and all nothing really big or out there in your face as some might do but considering what he had seen from Hibari, when he had been spying on him, it was enough get him to lash out. Especially since Harri knew that the teen in question was still rather angry about everything he had been doing before.
Even if he didn't know it was Harri doing it in the first place. After all, Harri had seen him prowling around the town looking for both the form Harri had first arrived in, as well as the female form, he had used to spread the rumor said for had a huge crush on Hibari in the first place.
Oddly enough it seemed that Kyoya seemed more angry at and looking for the female form more that the fist male form in his search. It was as if he knew it had all been done as a way to get a laugh at him rather than a female actually having a crush on him in the first place. How he figured that out Harri was rather interested in finding out.
Harri blinked as he realized while he was thinking about this, he had reached Tsuna's place and it seemed he had done in just as Tsuna had been heading out to meet both Yamamoto Takeshi and Hayato Gokudera. If the rather cheerful look on said teen's face meant anything.
Best yet Tsuna didn't seem to have seen him yet either. Making Harri mentally mark that both he and Reborn really needed to work on his awareness as Harri himself wasn't even trying to hide and being that obvious to your surroundings could very easily get you killed even if you weren't going to become part of the Mafia like Tsuna was; despite how much he still protested against it.
As he thought this Harri saw that there was now a young child that he now knew was called Lambo following behind Tsuna. A young child that had apparently arrived, or honestly came back as he had been there before Harri had come to town, but Reborn had sent Lambo away, on what the kid apparently had thought was a very important mission, before Harri had arrived.
Because Reborn had known the child in question wouldn't keep the fact that Harri was the actual Mimic and not Hari Imita secret like the others would do their best to. So, he had prevented him from knowing and in turn had left Harri not knowing about Lambo, as no one in town seemed to speak about him or even mention that he was now gone; oddly enough it was as if they didn't realize Lambo had been there in the first place. Making it so that Harri hadn't been able to find any information on the small child in question at least he had at first.
A problem Harri had quickly fixed but at the same time kind of kept away from Lambo nonetheless as he really didn't know how to deal with actual children. That and the fact something about the child's eyes made his instincts go a little wild with how close they were to his natural eyes, his mother's natural eyes at that. He kind of wanted to avoid a connection to those eyes and himself.
Though the fact he didn't seem to yell at him or lash out in any way seemed to make Lambo feel that Harri was alright in his book. Oddly enough though he didn't seem to try and boss Harry around like he did Tsuna, it was as if he had meet him before, which considering the bazooka he had Harri did put it in the realm of possibilities. But still it wasn't something he was going to ask. Not yet at least.
Not that Harri had much of an opportunity to do so as he saw Lambo cheerfully being pulled back into the house by Tsuna's mother. As this happened, he waved at Harri for a bit. Making it so, the others realized that Harri was actually there. Again, reminding Harri that he really needed to plan on making all of them work on their awareness; something he felt Reborn was also planning.
Funny enough Harri got the amusing scene of watching Tsuna react to him, or more precisely how he was currently dressed for his first day of school, once the teen in question realized he was there watching them. And it was a rather amusing reaction if a bit loud.
"EHHHHHHHHH! You can't go to school like that Harr- I mean Hari-san. It's not- I mean HE'LL not like it…Oh he'll Bite you to death…..EHHH not good" Harri hearing this had to fight back not to laugh at the fact that Tsuna didn't seem able to form a complete sentence either because he didn't know how to say what he wanted to or either that he was to terrified of the school demon perfect…aka Kyoya Hibari, to form said sentence correctly.
Either way it was rather funny. But it seemed that he was the only one to think so as before he could say anything else Tsuna was hit on the head by a rather large green mallet as Reborn appeared from within a tree and started lecturing Tsuna.
"Tsuna-Dame that is not how a future Leader reacts. If you want to give information, give it in a clear conscience matter."
Here Reborn paused in his lecture his slightly dark look going to a far more amused one, a look that seemed to terrify Tsuna more than his former dark one did, before continued on. Taking no note or simply not carrying about Tsuna's reaction as he did so.
"For that matter, it'd be best not to give such information to someone who already knows and had gone out of their way to go against the information you going to give him to get a reactions…. rather like pulling pigtails you could say,"
This last bit Harri knew was a dig at him but gave it no response as he instead gave a closed eyed friendly smile to Tsuna. Who was staring at him wide eyed and sputtering in disbelief looking moments away from actually started pointing at him, before all but chirping out.
"We should get go to school, we wouldn't want to be late now, would we?"
The last bit almost coming out sing song as if Harri really wouldn't mind being late at all. In fact, he looked like he wanted to be late or at least was looking forward to what happened due to him being later than he should. Something that wasn't shared by Tsuna in the least bit, as he grabbed both Takeshi and Gokudera's hands and began to run towards the school screaming that they had to make it in time.
A highly amused Reborn hitching a ride on his shoulder as he did so; something Hari was sure Tsuna really didn't notice. And this was despite the extra weight that would be on his shoulder because of this fact. Making it positive that yes spatial awareness was something that defiantly needed to be taught to him.
As they did this Takeshi seemed to be laughing and running along with Tsuna, while Gokudera on the other hand seemed to be glaring at Harri, looking as if was just seconds from exploding, before deciding to follow Tsuna along.
Seeing this, Harri had to give a slight laugh to himself before he began to walk to the school. Knowing even as he did so that at the speed he was going at would make it so that he would arrive just a bit after the bell for being late rang. He knew if he ran, he could easily make it in time, even if he was going at the speed Tsuna was, but again what was the fun in that.
That in mind Harri continued his slow luxurious walk towards the school not speeding up any as he began to think about how this would be the first time, he was actually in a school in several years.
As he hadn't been in anything similar to a school in quite a while, at least not since he first slipped into a couple of classes as part of an assignment he had back when he was eleven. Before that he mainly went either through the goblin he had met when he found out he was magic in the first place or through electronic, or even more mafia-like means to get the classes he needs. Something he had been doing for several years now, which was why Reborn's idea of having a form with at least some educational paper trail was something he decided to go along with.
As he was thinking this and as he was nearing the school, he heard the last bell for school ring while he was still clearly outside said school. Smirking at this Harri continued to walk towards the school knowing what was waiting for him as he did so and eagerly await it at the same time. And sure enough, just as he crossed through the school gates a very familiar figure dropped down, growling out what Harri knew was an equally familiar saying as he did so.
"Herbivore for daring to be late, I'll bit you to death." Then Kyoya seemed to notice what Harri was wearing, and what he looked like. Because his eyes went just a little bit wider before though gritted teeth he snarled out.
"I'll Bite you to death!" Apparently to be angry at all the other rules Harri was gleefully flouting to say anything else.
