Scar/Rafiki's Tree

Penny and Dijonay appear on the left side stage as they speak.

Penny: "It was a time of rejoicing and celebration of the prince's arrival. Everyone was happy."

Dijonay: "Don't jinx it, Girl. Not everyone was Penny, There was one particular lion who wasn't happy for a young prince, Simba, A male lion named Scar."

Penny: "Right, Scar was also the King's brother and he was to take the throne after Mufasa, but now Simba replacing him made him very jealous. Scar was ruthless and cunning."

A four-striped mouse played by Dedenne wandered onto the stage from the right side of the stage which is now a cave before being snatched by a staff. It was Squilliam Fancyson playing the role of Scar, he carried the mouse to his face as he spoke.

Squilliam: "Life's not fair, Is it my little friend? While some are born to feast, Others spend their lives in the dark, begging for scraps. The way I see it, You and I are exactly the same. We both want to find a way out! You see, I Scar shall never be king. While you on the other hand shall never see the light of day Adieu!"

Just as Scar is about to eat the mouse, Zazu comes flying squawking from the right side of the stage.

Squidward: "Didn't you're mother ever tell you not to play with your food?!"

Squilliam: "Oh, Zazu, what do you want?"

Squidward: "I'm here to announce that the king is approaching. This is not a drill, his majesty requires an audience which is you, and upon his arrival. You will rise and genuflect."

Squilliam: "In other words."

Squidward: "I'm here to announce that your brother King Mufasa is on his way and you better have a good excuse for missing the event this morning."

While Zazu was talking Scar noticed the mouse gone, and the rodent got away.

Squilliam: "Now look what you done Zazu! You made me lose my lunch!"

Squidward: "You'll lose more than that when the king gets through with you. Mufasa is as mad as a hippo with a hernia and you have to answer him for missing the ceremony this morning!"

Squilliam: "Listen you Hornbill I answer to no one and you think I should be m afraid of him. Ohh I quiver with fear!"

Squidward: "Scar? Scar, Scar? Don't be like that, don't look at me that way?!"

Squilliam: "Are you hungry Zazu?"

Squidward: "Um, maybe?"

Squilliam: "Perhaps we can have a bite together!"

Then Scar attacks Zazu with his staff and claws.

Squidward: "Wait! Hold on a minute! You can't eat me! It's forbidden to eat a member of the king's court! Stop it! I am the king's adviser! Help!"

Then Scar grabs him by the throat choking the hornbill. Suddenly, Mufasa arrives from the Right Side of the Stage looking Stern and Displeased with this scene.

Thomas: "SCAR!"

Squilliam: "Huh?!"

Thomas: "Release him!"

Scar lets go of Zazu as the bird gets his breath back.

Squidward: "Impeccable timing your majesty!"

Squilliam: "Well, well, if it isn't my Older brother who decided to come down and mingle with the commoners."

Thomas: "Sarabi and I didn't see you at the presentation of Simba!"

Squilliam: "Oh, my new nephew? I'm ever so sorry, was that today? Oh, I feel so awful. I must have slipped my mind. Of course, I show no disrespect to his majesty or Sarabi. As you know, I have great respect for the Queen."

Squidward: "Well, slippery as your mind is, As the king's brother. You should've been first in line!"

Squilliam: "I was first in line! But don't you remember that is until out of nowhere the precious hairball prince arrived."

Thomas: "That hairball is my son and your future king! And you will show him proper respect. Despite how you want it, You'll never have the throne Brother!"

Squilliam: "Never say never, Brother. The only thing standing in my way of becoming king is…Well, The king! I'm gonna go and practice my courtesy."

Scar begins to depart the cave although Mufasa is not finished speaking with his younger brother.

Thomas: "Don't turn your back on me, Scar!

Squilliam: "Oh no, Mufasa Perhaps you who shouldn't turn your back on me!"

Then Mufasa gets in front of him thinking he's going to challenge his position.

Thomas: "Is that a challenge?!

Squilliam: "Geez temper, temper! Besides, I wouldn't dream of challenging you…again."

Squidward: "Quite a pity, although you made an honest decision, as you're not a match towards his majesty, but why not?"

Squilliam: "As far as brains are concerned I get the lion's share. But when it comes to brute strength, (Sighs) I'm in the shallow end of the gene pool. And not only that, My big brother of mine will always rule over me."

Thomas: "Not always Scar, One day, It will be my son who will rule meaning you will obey him. Simba will be your king!"

Squilliam: "Well, Long live the king."

Scar then leaves the stage from the left stage leaving Zazu and Mufasa alone in the cave.

Squidward: "Well, there's always one in every family sire, Two in mine actually, and they always have a way of ruining special occasions."

Thomas: "What am I going to do with him?"

Squidward: "Perhaps he could make a good fur rug!"

Thomas: "Zazu!"

Squidward: "Just think, Whatever if he gets dirty, You can take him out and beat him. All I'm saying is we all know we should've been expelled from the Pridelands long ago."

Thomas: "Yes, Zazu, But he's my brother and this is his home as long as I am king that will never change."

Squidward: "I understand, You know one of them is my cousin who thinks he's a woodpecker."

Thomas: "Oh really?"

Squidward: "He slammed his head into trees and our beaks aren't built for it, he was concussed regularly."

Zazu and Mufasa depart at the stage from the right side. The Setting changes to a giant Baobab Tree with Rafiki painting on the tree. Then the image of cub Simba appears.

Charlie: "Ah! Simba!"
