A/N: My 800th story is a love letter to the series that, writing-wise, has taken me this far. I sincerely appreciate all of your

follows, favorites and reviews, as well as the many requests to write more. I've decided to write one chapter for every episode (and perhaps

throw in a few prompts here and there). I will add chapters as often as possible. Thank you, as always for reading, favoriting, following and

reviewing. It means a lot.

(Daphne's POV)

Who knew there was a zoo in Mercer Island of all places? If Frasier's loony agent hadn't mentioned it, I would never have believed it! After that fiasco with Mr.

Crane letting the crane loose before the dedication, I wondered what kind of a place this was. When the dedication was over, I told Mr. Crane and Dr. Crane that I'd

be home later. I checked the place out for meself. It wasn't your typical American zoo, that's for sure. It was vastly different from the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle

and certainly didn't live up to the likes of it. But it was definitely unique.

More importantly, it had a famous crane. Frasier Crane, that is! Oh, I laugh so hard whenever I hear his name now! I think of that silly bird! Not the psychiatrist,

but the actual crane! Mr. Crane got a big kick out of it too!

I wonder what Frasier thinks about having a crane named after him. I'm sure I wouldn't have to wait long to find out. He's likely to blab it all over the airwaves

eventually.
