It has been a long day for Jestro, well it's been a long month for everyone in knighton
first monstrox returned has a computer virus and finally uses he's real name
then vampires which were also cyborgs which is the second weirdest thing to happen this month
then I tried to be a knight (they even game me a cool armor and a new jester costume with blue and orange) and... I've been a burden really, nobody trusted me and I failed at everything and almost lose all the power shields merlok made for the knights to save the kingdom from Monstrox, nothing new
then I just discovered monstrox betrayed the vampires and he was just using them, heck their entire situation that allowed monstrox to get he's claws on them was caused by monstrox itself. To nobody's surprise, seriously has this man ever not betrayed or ruined the life's of one of he's "Allies"?
on a similar note, he's clays dad (that's the weirdest thing to happen in this month if you were asking) now I'm kinda happy to be a orphan...

jestro has been nothing but a good for nothing, he hasn't been Able to fight, only run, he failed to get any of the nexo powers by himself and he almost screwed up the entire plan. The least he could do was a heroic sacrifice to get rid of monstrox
after all, I freed him
is my fault all of this started in the first place
so is up to me to end it
of course Jestro didn't expect to make it out alive this time, but didn't expect the explosion to push him off the largest tower into a free fall to he's doom. The only things jestro could do was close he's eyes and hope for the best...
In another place, in another world, a dark self proclaimed god is watching jestro fall to he's demise, he could just look away and let him die but since a long time he's been yearning for a chance like this
he's brother, the god of light, did something behind he's back and send a agent to get rid of one of their mistakes -mostly he's brother's mistake since he can't understand why the hell he made Salem immortal- so he has chose he's own champion
did it had to be the most pathetic and insecure man he could find? Yes, because insecure people are the ones that think they had the most to prove (not that he knew on a personal level) so Jestro would do everything he could to prove himself, unlike Ozma who sabotaged himself by separating he's power to make four maidens and kept Salem's existence in secret instead of using it to make the humans join together earlier, humans (mostly medieval) are idiots who are open to believe everything their superiors tell them, he remembers how he's brother manipulated humans like that to praise him, so Oz in the body of a king would have no problem making the people of Remanent (stupid name, funny but stupid, specially if they don't know what it means)

'Am I dead' Jestro thought, he was in a a vast dead land, a couple of purple crystals on the horizon, some black pools and the sky red like wine... at least is more welcoming than the lava lands
"jestro" said a booming astral voice echoing through all this empty world, jestro jumped back in fear and squeaked like a little girl (also in fear), then a giant purple humanoid figure without any features besides two curved horns appeared before jestro
"be not afraid" said the titanic horned man, "sir, this is the most terrifying moment of my entire life" claimed Jestro with a calm voice hiding the heart attack he just got, "I'm the god of darkness" claimed the titanic figure "and I'm scared" calmly said Jestro
"you have been chosen by me to save a world of my and my brother's old creation"
"I'm sorry, but the last one who called me 'the chosen one' was a manipulative magic book that was actually a ancient arch necromancer who wanted to steal my body"

"yes, a immortal witch my brother refuses to exterminate properly just because he refuses to admit he was in the wrong" the voice of the god of darkness started losing its professional and emotionless tone and started showing hints of anger, and for hints I mean he started to sound like a kid angry at he's older brother for not letting him play with the PS5
"and you want *ME* t-to defeat her, and save the world?" Asked jestro with hope in he's puppy eyes
"yes" that was a lie, the god of darkness was lying "now go my joker card, go and save that remanent of my brother's idiocy- alsomypetsiforgotabout- and make up for your past mistakes"
"yes, boss!" Said jestro making a militar salute before he disappears in thin air
"wait I forgot to explain him a couple of very important things... eh, he'll figure it out" the god of darkness shrugged and proceeded to turn into a dragon to sleep, because sleeping like a dragon is better than not sleeping like a dragon
