Chapter 1:Banishment of a Hero

"Naruto Uzumaki, you are to leave the village tonight…"

"You're a danger to the village so we are going to be banishing you from the village…"

'So that you can be captured and be an agent, a superb weapon for my né against other Jinchūriki of Iwa and Kumo.'

That was the words of the council as they had kidnapped him and brought him in front of a council made by Danzo and the village seemed to have been taken over completely. He used the hatred of the whole village to gain power and that means making him leave. Naruto was looking at the old man. He then turned to the man. He knew he was going to be a weapon to this man from his information. He read his Father's journal too.

He needed to leave the village and also to find his sense in where to go from here to escape the man. He should look for his teacher and sensei on ideas cause no doubt the man in the bandages will try all he can to keep most of the clans in the dark. Most of the Shinobi were still against him after all. He hated to leave but knew that his teammates were better off without him. Sasuke was a pain in the ass for the most part and will try to kill him anyway. Sakura was a different story. She usually beat him whenever she got the chance and he usually healed afterwards. He then decided to cheer her up and now it was time to really go before she finds out.

-Naruto's Apartment-

He started to pack ignoring the graffiti on the wall and then decided to take off the Fuinjutsu seals that covered it and smiled as he then went to the bed moving it and started to pull the frame after hitting it. He had placed explosive seals all along the frame to the point that if the landlord wanted a profit with this apartment again, he would be greatly mistaken.

Masked men started to leap into the window and he sent shuriken at them so expertly that he didn't seem this skilled before. The agent who was closest was slashed back by Naruto who sent a message to them by sending a Kunai with an explosive tag as the agents didn't know that the whole apartment had paper bombs all over it in special seals. He already packed his scrolls.

He then proceeded to leap out the window and smash the window of the office to which the apartment head came out but before he could say a word.

"Kai!"

Boom! Boom! Explosions continued to cast on the small apartment and crackling of wood and smell of smoke covered the streets and air as Uzumaki Naruto started to run for the nearest gate. He needed to move fast and quickly.

"Naruto!"

He stopped and saw his teacher. "Oh Kakashi-sensei! I need your help too…" The masked Jounin looked at his student with worry. "I'm sorry but what is going on Naruto?" The grin was gone and the happiness was gone as well. "Well it seems I've been a thorn in the side of the village and I need to leave Sensei and fast…Danzo has made his move."

'I can't believe I failed my student and my Sensei…' Kakashi nodded. Though he showed a lot of sadness for his neglect and was against letting his student leave. "Sensei, its ok I need to leave for somewhere and fast…" Kakashi nodded. "Danzo will use this chance to capture you while the public thinks you were banished?" Naruto nodded. "Uzushiogakure in Uzu no Kuni would be your next destination as it's the place where the ANBU wouldn't look. It's the best place because it's isolated and the Daimyo is rumored to be rebuilding his samurai forces. If you say you're from the Uzumaki clan then he can give you safe passage and even help you rebuild Uzushiogakure as the Daimyo is rumored to have befriended a number of daimyos as well.

Naruto nodded and smiled at his teacher, despite his mishandling of his situation he was still the ANBU who looked after him and also the one that Protected him. "I'll be fine sensei and I have plans of my own." He wanted to be Hokage no more and if his sensei was right then he could be a Kage somewhere else but first he needed to find his clan's archives as well.

Kakashi could see he wasn't lying and still as unpredictable as ever. He nodded and then smiled under his mask. "Just get going and I'll slow any followers and I'll inform lord Jiraya."

Naruto nodded and was glad that he found his godfather early in his Shinobi career during the month of the Chunin exams and that's where the Ero-Senin told him of his parents which made him happy. "Take this, it used to belong to your parents…" Naruto nodded and pulled out the Kodachi Blades and nodded. He took the box and sealed it into a small scroll.

Naruto headed for the gate and smirked at the chaos. He didn't notice a certain pink haired Kunoichi noticing him because his apartment was on fire. Sakura Haruno, who was thirteen, had fair skin, jade green eyes and short pink hair that reached to the end of her neck. Her clothes consisted of a red kimono sleeveless,which reached with two long flat strands down to her upper knees from the back and front with a white circle in the back of her shirt and blue ninja shoes;she also had green bicycle shorts underneath.

She had found him heading for the gate and screamed his name. "Naruto!"

He turned to her with a new small katana on back thanks to his father and mother's chest that the old man Sandaime gave him years ago in an emergency. He was still in his regular outfit. He looked at her,"Hey Sakura-Chan…"

"Don't hey me! What's going on…!"

Naruto looked away from her. "Sorry Sakura-Chan, I can't really tell you…" He then looked at her with a fake smile he usually uses. "Why do you have a backpack…"

"Why is your apartment on fire!" She said having seen it earlier.

"They burned it again…"He said it was no big deal. "Why are you leaving?" She was beyond confused. He didn't answer and was itching to go. "Baka! Answer me already?" She was losing patience and sent her fist at her teammate who sighed and caught it annoyed.

"This village means nothing to me anymore so I'm leaving now to find somewhere I belong and I won't be somewhere where I'm not wanted, my

Ojiisan is gone and Ero-Senin is gone from the village so I have nothing here to keep me here…"

He then turned around and started walking. "What about us and kakashi-sensei!"

Naruto sighed and was now understanding how she can be. "You never ever wanted me to be on your team so what's the difference now?!" He screamed at her in return, throwing her words at her. She always attacked him and even said she hated him in their introductions. "You don't know me or even tried to get to know me and it's always Sasuke-Kun so stop it already!" He then turned around but she couldn't stop her heart from crunching a little.

"STOP NARUTO! PLEASE! THIS ISN'T LIKE YOU! THIS IS NOT THE NARUTO I KNOW! I CAN'T SEE YOU ACTING THIS WAY! PLEASE STOP!"

The blond turned around glaring at her with somewhat fury. He was betrayed and now banished from the place he dedicated his life to try and win over this pathetic village. They banished him before the genin could go with Jiraiya the next day to find Tsunade of the Senju.

"I already explained Sakura!" He replied growling once more and now lost the -Chan suffix for her name and she started to notice his face started to darken but she didn't care. She was starting to regret how she treated him. "I don't care about our teammate Naruto! I didn't know you back then and…!"

"Enough!" This was getting troublesome as Shikamaru would say and he loved her since getting to know her a bit even though his focus was on the Emotionless uchiha. He turned around. "Take me with you!"

"No,you have a family here and you don't actually mean it so go and don't look back!" Naruto proclaimed not wanting to see her tears he could see were dropping to the ground in front of him and knew that he hated to see her crying ever since he grew up with her despite her not remembering. He honestly thought she might've had her memory wiped by Ino's father.

Naruto turned around to leave as he seriously doesn't have time for this and then froze o. "If you go I'll scream!" Naruto used a Shushin to appear behind her and smiled. "Goodbye Sakura-Chan and I hope you become as beautiful as ever…your forehead was so cute I just want to kiss it always…" He didn't hear her as even though he was a bit shorter he used some chakra and hit her on the back of the neck. "Na…ru-..to…" He turned to his sensei. "You sure Naruto?" The blond had the pink haired girl in his arms bridal style now asleep.

"Yes and I need to go remember and her parents didn't like me that much…" He smiled as he handed her to Kakashi who nodded and understood that Sakura would be in trouble. "Sasuke won't be waking up till later since the old man Danzo got medics on him right?"

Kakashi nodded.

"Just be safe and I'll be sure to contact Lord Jiraiya so you can meet up with him before he reports back. He's said to be going after the fellow Sanin Lady Tsunade." Kakashi explained. "I was supposed to go with him but they probably tricked him which was surprising. Pervy Sage doesn't get tricked that easily." Naruto inquired with a sigh as the apartment continued to burn in the distance.

"Maybe Lord Jiraiya was caught up in something he couldn't walk away from. Naruto, I contacted the nearest ANBU agent under the Sandaime and they will escort you out of the village before Danzo can take you as a weapon…"

Naruto nodded and committed to memory of his true love Sakura sleeping in his Sensei's arms then proceeded to head out of the gate. He noticed his ANBU brothers and sisters following him and escorting him out.

-Outskirts of the Hi no Kuni-

Naruto was running and then he heard his other occupant in his mind. "This happened because of me though there's nothing I can do about it."

"I'm glad you tried talking to me but humans are tend to be stupid…"

Meanwhile- at another Gate-

"Sasuke Uchiha, are you ready to come along with us?"

A dark raven haired boy looked at four individuals and smiled. "I can finally leave this stupid village. The best plan would be to leave during the Chaos." He had woken up already and packed. Sasuke had been healed by some specialist medics recruited by Danzo not knowing who it was he recruited. "I'm glad you feel that way now we must get to Lord Orochimaru."

The man in front of the Uchiha was Kabuto, the right hand man of Orochimaru. The Sound Four was by him and Sasuke.

The five then moved quickly. ANBU agents were noticing movements along the village barrier and even some Tokubetsu Jōnin and other Jōnin guards of the barrier as they approached the disturbance but before they could see in the darkness Kunai and shuriken to arrows tipped with poison appeared at high speed hitting major vital spots and killing them on the spot. The shouts continued till Sasuke and the companions with him disappeared into the Night.

-back with naruto- few hours later

Naruto was then headed for the border. He came to try to find the village of Uzushiogakure since it would be difficult to travel through it.

He then found a ship captain but they saw him and said no to a ride for an island that was nothing but ruins. Naruto didn't give up and was heading for Cha no Kuni as Tazuna would have a way for him to get to Uzu no Kuni

-Konoha- Next morning-

Sakura awoke in a panic to find that she was in her room,in her bed. "How did I-?" Sakura began to ask before remembering her confrontation with Naruto.

"Are you FINALLY awake?!" Inner-Sakura started screaming in her head.

'I don't know what you're talking…'

'You know what I'm talking about! We lost the person we love the most!" Inner-Sakura explained that he didn't really want to bring her with him, which means there was a change to his feelings.

'What are you talking about?! Lost who!?'

'The fact that you loved Naruto-Kun this whole time and you don't love Sasuke and that,in truth,you know you do and should admit it already!' Inner-Sakura Explained trying to expose her inner feelings already to see that she's treated naruto badly for only trying to cheer her up.

'I don't LOVE Naruto! I love Sasuke and only Sasuke-kun!' Sakura thought.

She could tell her Inner-self was rolling her eyes within her head and crossing her arms. She was trying to explain that Naruto was the one for her, not the stuck up uchiha prodigy.

"That is total BS! You know it to be true that I won't let you be deserving of those pathetic feelings cause you are weak enough that you are just nothing compared to Sasuke and Naruto-kun so stop already! Why did you try to stop him cause if you didn't care for him at all then you would've let him go. You tried to stop him. You love him within you and you were pleading because, you couldn't imagine a life without the blond Baka that always had your interest at heart…" Inner-Sakura explained longingly. She didn't like long explanations but that's what Sakura was paying attention too.

'…' Sakura tried to think of a rebuttal but was drawing a blank for once. She found that she couldn't live without the blond knucklehead. He was smart at times and impressed her to realize that he was more skilled than she could ever be. He learned about the Summoning contracts and apparently according to Sasuke. He saved her from gaara. Her eyes widened to the size of saucers as she finally realized that her inner self was right all along. All the time she had spent on team seven with Naruto caused her feelings to change. She defended him from Sasuke. He may have been a knucklehead and deserved some of the beatings she did. He always complimented her on her changes for Sasuke and always tried to cheer her up whenever she was rejected.

The blond knucklehead was her guardian angel. He protected her to the best of his ability no matter the cost and even though she might've seen the Kyuubi fox when she was waking up during his fight with gaara. He probably knew it would cause trouble. While her feelings for Naruto had changed from seeing him as just a friend to feelings of true love.

She didn't know what to do. That explained why she tried to stop him from leaving instead of letting him go and why she was upset when he wouldn't listen to reason. She was then gaining a realization that she was in fact in love with Uzumaki Naruto.

As quickly as she could, Sakura jumped off her bed,slipped on her ninja sandals, and jumped out of the window toward the bridge of the Hokage Tower.

Sakura was turned away by weird ANBU with Ne' masks that were different from the rest. She knew that the best person to ask what was happening was Kakashi-sensei.

She leaped through the village and then heard her name. "Sakura!"

"Ino what's wrong?!" She turned to Ino in a panic and also puffy eyes as they were on the roof of a nearby building. "Sasuke left the village!" Sakura, though not totally over her crush with Sasuke, was less surprised as she would've been.

"Wait what?!" Sakura was confused about what was happening with her team and then Kakashi landed in front of her. Good,"You're awake, cmon Sakura, we have a lot to discuss…you come too Ino cause this is a crisis…you need to be prepared…"

"What happened,Kakashi-sensei?"

"The council has elected an advisor named Danzo to be Hokage and banished Naruto from the village…"

"Naruto?! But what did he do?" Ino screamed but Kakashi looked at her with a finger to his mouth that said to quiet down. "He's been trying to undermine Lord Third for years and we can't do anything now."

"Why would Naruto be banished…?"

"I'm sorry, that's classified information sorry…Sasuke defecting from the village was with Kabuto. He's going to Orochimaru, he wants power from him."

"Will Naruto be ok?" Sakura-chan said worried for her teammate.

"Don't worry, Sakura, he's going to be safe. He's going to be going to a place where not even that advisor can touch him and the Daimyō knows Naruto's parents specifically his mother.
