Charles took the long walk in the forest to the Wall. It was obvious that the king still had feelings for the old dungeon master. He was determined to ignite that old flame. Even if it killed him.

On the way there, he sees the three gravestones that belong to the three Chaos Kingdom guards. They didn't deserve to be killed at the hands of the Wall. They had a family back home and now that family is devastated. He didn't want this to happen again.

Upon arriving at the wall, he's greeted by the two dungeon guards.

"Hey you!" One guard said, raising his spear. "No one's allowed beyond this point"

"I would like to speak to Lord Dmitri please" Charles said.

"Lord Dmitri? He hasn't been called that in years" The guard said. "Wait, you're the Government prince aren't you?"

"Governia" Charles said. "I'm here to speak with the dungeon master"

"Are you sure?" The guard said. "He's very busy toda-"

"Yes," Charles said. The guards step back and let him in. Charles entered the dungeon. Dmitri was there, almost as if he was expecting him to arrive.

"Well if it isn't Prince Charles" Dimitri said. "Here to save another one of your friends?"

"My friends are not stuck down here," Charles said. "I'm here to talk to you about my dad. Why did you leave Father and I many years ago?"

"So he finally decided to tell you," Dimitri said. "Pathetic. I should have known it would take him this long. To make a long story short: Your father only cared about himself"

"That's not true!" Charles said. "He cared so much about you. He tried everything to win you back"

"Then why did he not come rescue you when you were captured trying to save your boyfriend" Dimitri said.

"Have you seen the handmade cemetery next to the Wall?" Charles said. "Your dungeon is a danger to all our kingdoms and that's why no one wants be near you"

"I've had enough of this!" Dimitri shouted. "Guards, take him to the royal dungeon. We will have him executed on Sunday night"

"W-What?!" Charles said. "You can't do that! Sunday is the Festival of Happiness"

"Well next time, don't lecture me about my personal problems" Dimitri said. "And tell Terrance I said hi when you die"

The two guards carry Charles away, who desperately tries to kick his way out.

"Please! You can't do this! LET GO OF ME" Charles said. The door to the dungeon and the guards throw him in, locking it shut. Charles runs to try to pry the door open, vigorously shaking it.

"I CAN'T DIE HERE. I HAVE A KINGDOM TO RUN" Charles said.

"No use in trying to shake it, I've done it before"

Charles suddenly turns to wherever that voice came from. He sees a young girl with short brown hair, circular silver glasses and a purple jester costume. She was holding a scroll and a quill.

"Who are you?" Charles asks.

"I am The Storyteller" The girl says. "I used to tell some of the best stories to all the kingdoms in the land. Unfortunately, the Toppat Kingdom didn't appreciate my stories so they had me locked away here. I've been stuck here for 3 years and my stories have since gone unfinished. I have run out of parchment"

"I'm Prince Charles of Governia," Charles said.

"Ah yes, The Prince Who Lived. Your story of surviving the Annasole massacre has been passed down from generations." The Storyteller says. "So, why are you here? Shouldn't you be getting ready for the festival?"

"I was trying to confront the DM about his past," Charles said. "Him and my father took me in after the massacre and he ended up leaving us shortly after. I need to know why he did it and why won't he come back. Now he's gonna have me executed."

"Oh hey me too" The Storyteller said. "My execution had to be postponed twice because of the Among Us Plague but it's set to be this Sunday"

"Me too!" Charles said. "But I gotta get outta here since that's the day of the festival"

"But this is The Wall: No one gets in, No one gets out" The Storyteller says.

"This have been said multiples time in these two fics" Charles said. "Will you help me escape?"

"Ok but there's no guarantee we'll make it with all our limbs in tact" Storyteller says. They shake hands.

Meanwhile, Dimitri was writing a letter to Governia:

"Huebert,

Your kid paid me a visit today. If you want him back so bad, get here before Sunday or the next time you see your son, it will be in a body bag. And no tricks, otherwise I'll burn your whole kingdom down.

Dimitri"

"We'll see what that fiend had it say about that" Dimitri said, sealing the envelope. He attaches it to a pigeon, who files in the direction of Governia with the letter.
