Sabaku no Kitsune: Chapter 16
Suna Training grounds: with Naruto and Katsuragi
Naruto and Katsuragi were standing in the middle of the training ground getting ready to begin their spar; on the side lines Temari, Gaara, Kankuro, Koyuki, Obito, Kurumi and Karin were all standing there looking on in anticipation.
"I never expected when coming here I'd see Naruto spar with a foreign ninja" Obito said looking on "I wonder how this is going to turn out" he said.
"This is way better than training" Kurumi said excited "I have to make sure before she leaves Suna we spar too" she said and Obito chuckled behind his mask.
'Good luck Naruto' Temari said as she walked in between them "ok you 2 this is a friendly spar; no killing, no destructive jutsu and for the love of god don't wreck the training ground" Temari said.
"No promises" Katsuragi said.
"Sorry babe same here" Naruto said and Temari rolled her eyes.
"Why do I even try" Temari said to herself as she raised her hand "ok get ready" she said as both Naruto and Katsuragi both got into their taijutsu stances. "And begin" Temari shouted as she jumped back.
Both Naruto and Katsuragi charged at each other and got into a taijutsu battle; Naruto threw a punch at Katsugari who blocked it and countered with a uppercut to which Naruto leaned back to avoid. Naruto spun on his heel and threw a spinning kick at Katsuragi's head; Katsuragi ducked under the kick and threw a sweeping kick at Naruto.
Naruto jumped up avoiding the kick but was surprised when Katsuragi grabbed him by the waist and slammed him onto the ground; Katsuragi mounted Naruto and threw a punch.
Naruto swatted the punch to the side and twisted Katsuragi around before grabbing her in a choke hold; howeverhowever, Katsuragi broke the hold and got out from Naruto's clutches. Katsuragi jumped back to gain some distance and Naruto did the same; Katsuragi went through hand signs.
'Ice Style: Ice wall' Katsuragi blew air through her mouth and made a ice wall by freezing the moisture in the air in front of her. Katsuragi went through hand signs once more and slammed her hands into the ice wall 'Ice sparrows'; out of the ice wall a sparrows made of ice formed and were sent towards Naruto at a incredible speed.
"Crap" Naruto said as he reached behind him and grabbed his fan and opened it; Naruto's fan was one third the size of Temari's at 1'6" and only had 1 moon marked on it. Naruto brought back the fan and swung it forward "Wind Sickle jutsu" Naruto shouted as he launched a wall of wind blades towards the ice sparrows; the jutsu was like Temari's 'Wind Scythe' but not as wide and more concentrated.
The ice sparrows and the wind blades collided canceling each other out; the wind blades cut the ice sparrows creating a line of snow along the ground.
With Temari and the others
"Naruto sure has changed" Koyuki said staring at the battle "last I remember he used brute force and his brawler fighting style; he must've had an amazing teacher" she said.
"Oh, it was nothing" Temari and Obito said at the same time before looking at each other.
"Sorry Obito but I was the one who brought out his proficiency in wind jutsu" Temari said with a smirk and making Obito gain a tic mark.
"Well, I refined his taijutsu and instilled in him the proper way of being a shinobi" Obito said with a smirk and Temari glared at him.
"We get it; you both helped him" Kankuro said breaking up the fight.
Back with Naruto and Katsuragi
Katsuragi jumped from behind her wall and rushed towards Naruto; Katsuragi used an ice jutsu on her arms to make ice claws as she rushed towards Naruto. Naruto seeing this folded his fan and put it on his back; Naruto brought out his hidden gauntlet blade and a kunai and charged at Katsuragi.
Naruto swung his gauntlet blade at Katsuragi who used her ice claws to block it; Katsuragi swung her other claw at Naruto and he brought up his kunai to block the attack. Naruto threw a kick at Katsuragi's stomach and Katsuragi dodged by jumping back; Katsuragi proceeded to shoot the fingers of her ice claws towards Naruto.
Naruto used his kunai and blade to block the ice projectiles; Naruto blocked the first couple but was hit in the chest and arm by the last 2 and luckily her claws were dull as to not cause damage. Katsuragi seeing Naruto get hit rushed forward and launched her attack; Katsuragi reformed her claws and slashed towards Naruto.
Katsuragi hit Naruto in the ribs with her claws knocking the wind out of him; Katsuragi proceeded to spin around and kick in the face with a spinning kick. Naruto fell to the ground and Katsuragi mounted him and sat on his back; she then put her claws up to Naruto's neck and smiled.
"I win" Katsuragi said with a smile.
"Yeah, you win" Naruto said defeated but with a smile on her face; Katsuragi got off of Naruto and offered him a hand up. Naruto accepted and was helped to his feet "good job Katsuragi" Naruto said and Katsuragi smiled.
"All my friends call me Katsu" Katsuragi said and Naruto nodded.
"Ok Katsu it is then" Naruto said; Naruto turned his head and saw Temari, Gaara, Koyuki and the others approaching.
"Wow babe getting your ass kicked; so not manly" Temari said with a smirk and Naruto stuck his tongue out at her.
"Ah whatever; I'll beat her next time" Naruto said going up to Temari and grabbing her around her waist "like how I beat you with my- "Naruto began but Temari covered his mouth.
"Don't you dare mention it" Temari hissed and Katsu got curious.
"Mention what" Katsuragi said with a smirk.
"Nothing" Temari said flustered "it's really-"- "she began until Gaara encased her in sand and held her in place. "Gaara let me go" Temari demanded before looking at Naruto "Naruto please don't" Temari begged but Naruto smiled and turned to Katsuragi.
"So, me and Temari were sparring once" Naruto said.
*Flashback- 1 year ago
Temari swung her fan at Naruto who ducked under it as it grazed the top of his head; Naruto jumped back to gain some distance "you're going to lose again Naruto" Temari shouted as she opened her fan and got ready to launch a wind jutsu.
'Crap not again' Naruto thought before he got a bright idea 'maybe' Naruto thought; Naruto created several shadow clones and rushed towards Temari. "Hey Temari; watch this" Naruto shouted as he and his clones made a hand sign; Temari got on guard thinking Naruto was going to make a wind jutsu but was surprised when the clones and Naruto went up in smoke.
As the smoke cleared Temari saw Naruto and his clones transformed into older handsome boys who were completely naked "Sexy Jutsu: Reverse Harem" Naruto and his clones said.
Temari looked on dumb struck as she saw a wall of naked men in front of her; they then all dispelled and Naruto ran up with his fist cocked back "got you" Naruto said. Naruto punched Temari in the face and she fell down "haha; I won I finally… hey Temari" Naruto said looking down at her.
Temari was knocked out with a goofy smile on her face and Naruto grew pale "oh shit; I'm going to be in trouble later" Naruto said.
*Flashback end
"Hahahaha" Katsu laughed as she pointed at a blushing Temari "you lost to a bunch of naked dudes" she laughed.
"Shut up it's not my fault" Temari said trying to defend herself "how was I supposed to react to that" she whined.
"Umm like I did" Kurumi said.
*Flashback 2- 6 months ago
"Sexy Jutsu reverse harem" Naruto and his clones said in front of Kurumi; Kurumi was stunned seeing every detail with her sharingan. Naruto dispelled his clones and went in for a punch 'ha I beat Temari with this; no way this will-' Naruto- 'Naruto began until he had his punch blocked by Kurumi.
"Not today pervert" Kurumi said as she pulled Naruto in close and kicked him in the nuts; Naruto felt his soul leave his body as he fell to the ground whimpering "ha I read B.L (Boy love) manga; I've seen my share of nudity" she said as she walked away. Kurumi stopped and turned around "your sexy jutsu is too weak to work on me" she said to rub salt in the wound.
"K-Kurumi" Naruto stuttered out while on the ground stopping her "you ain't shit" he said and Kurumi walked away.
*Flashback 2 end
"And I took that loss personally" Naruto said and Kurumi stuck her tongue out.
"I really need to make sure I know what you are reading" Obito said and Kurumi huffed.
"Oh, come on; you and mom read that 'Icha Icha paradise' or whatever" Kurumi said and Obito got a annoyed look.
"Hey those are books written by my late masters sensei" Obito said defending himself "I would do anything to meet him in person" Obito said.
'Maybe I should introduce him to pervy sage' Naruto thought.
"Enough with the comedy" Gaara said before looking to Koyuki "shall we go and discuss out alliance" he said and Koyuki nodded.
"Yes, we should" Koyuki said before looking towards Naruto "lets talk later Naruto" she said and Naruto nodded.
"Ok let's go and chill" Katsu said "hey do you have any video games" she said and Naruto smiled.
"Yeah, I just got the new 'Red Dead Ronin 2'" Naruto said excited "wanna split screen online" he said and Katsu cheered.
"Hell, yeah let's go" Katsu said as she and Naruto rushed inside the house; Temari smiled at this.
"God he's still such a kid sometimes" Temari said 'but that's a part of his charm' she thought as she followed after.
A few days later
Naruto, Temari, Gaara and Kankuro were all at the front gates of the village seeing Koyuki, Katsu and her advisors off; Naruto was handing Katsu a piece of paper.
"Here's my gamer tag; send me a friend request" Naruto said and Katsu nodded.
"Totally" Katsu said before hugging Naruto "it was so awesome to meet you Naruto" she said and Naruto nodded smiled. Upon breaking the hug Koyuki walked up to Naruto with a smile on her face.
"Naruto… until a few days ago I thought I lost my hero" Koyuki said making Naruto blush "now I see you're alive and have a new life… and I couldn't be happier" she said as she went in and gave Naruto a hug. Koyuki now had tears rolling down her cheeks "if you ever need anything, I mean anything at all just send us a message; and you are always welcomed in Spring country" she said before looking at Temari.
"And I'm sure your girlfriend here wouldn't mind a vacation" Koyuki said and Naruto nodded as he broke the hug and walked up to Temari wrapping his arm around her waist.
"That'd be great; maybe after the chunin exams" Naruto said and Temari nodded.
"SureSure, that sounds great" Temari said and Koyuki nodded.
"I'll make preparations then" Koyuki said "but until then take care of yourselves" Koyuki said as she bowed and turned around to begin her long trek back home.
Naruto looked at the retreating form of Koyuki and smiled as another one of his old friends was back in his life; Naruto then turned and looked at Temari "well we have 2 months to prepare; so, let's get cracking" Naruto said.
"Well, you better get ready Naruto" Temari said with a smirk "because I'm going to work you to the bone" she said and Naruto smirked.
"I'd have no other way" Naruto said before grabbing her hand "but first and foremost ramen and movies" Naruto said pulling Temari along who smiled at her boyfriend's antics.
Gaara watched as both Naruto and Temari walked away 'Naruto sure has came a long way' Gaara thought before he frowned 'but letslet's see if it'll be enough to compete with Konoha' he thought. "Let's go Kankuro; we have work to do" Gaara said and Kankuro nodded.
"Sure, thing Gaara" Kankuro said as they both made their way to the Kazekage office to get to work on what was to come.
