Chapter 10 Homu Kurusu: Lost sister part 2

I was standing in a black void and saw my sister! I just wanted to hug her and run to her but I couldn't!

"Sister! I´m here!

I love you! I miss you so much! I´m sorry I couldn´t protect you!"

I cried.

Sister hugged me. "I´ve missed you too! Don´t feel guilty for what happened, we couldn´t see it coming! I couldn´t believe what had happened either! I just watched you not be yourself anymore! I couldn't talk to you! It was horrible!"

We cried and hugged each other for a while. It felt so good. Relieving. Bittersweet. Then I wanted to know : "What happened to you while I couldn´t see you, sister?"

She winced. Ugh it must have been painful.

"I remember how it happened! I.. I got crushed and cut apart! I felt the worst pain of my life but I couldn´t move or think anymore! I barely saw you screaming and falling unconscious and then everything went dark! Next thing I just watched in disbelief, as my body died there and saw you lying there motionless! You were bleeding too. The doctors tried to resuscitate me, but failed!

The I just stayed above you bed and followed you everywhere you went, but I could never reach you! Until yesterday! You looked so hollow but I could never console you no matter what I tried! Same for our parents!"

Poor sis! We hugged again. "That Girl- Ayano chan was really a saviour!"

"Yes she was! But now…" "I've got a body to rebuild. But how? I can build it, but how can you get inside it?"

"There are rituals for it." "Inside certain occult books?" "Yes. Ask Ayano chan if she has a black book with grey sigils on it" "Sis! It will take some time to build the body! Will you be okay?" "I will, sis, remember that you got through those months too. It will be easier for me. I f you feel sad and lost get a planchet and look at me. It will help you keep going-" "- to build the body!"

"Will do sis."" I know you will. Love you" "Love you too"

I missed her so much! We were-are so similar and almost always knew what the other was thinking and could complete each other's sentences.

However the dream was over. I got tugged away from her and woke up at home in my bed.

My hopes were really high and I was ready to get to action. My parents were protesting at first, but I told them that I was ready for school, and that we would get through all the hardships together. I didn´t tell them about my plans for saving Sister, because if it fails, I don´t want to disappoint them or make them suffer. They have enough to worry about.

At school I met Ayano chan again.

She asked me what had happened yesterday, and if I was okay. I told her, I was just overwhelmed and about my previous mental state. Ayano chan looked deep in thought. She is usually fairly expressionless, but not always.

I then told her that I was already planning the construction of the new body and asked her if she could help me, and she agreed.

I am a member of the schools science club and asked her if she wanted to join. She did.

I could barely wait till class was finished and after class we headed to the science club and I showed her the blueprints I was making and which materials we would need. I also asked her where to buy those planchets. They can be found at Buraza town in the convenience store! You need to find the right shelf of course. I asked Ayano chan about the black book with grey sigils and she looked surprised and told me she would bring it tomorrow.

During the club activity time I had already made much progress on the blueprints. After school I immediately headed for the convenience store and bought one of the planchets. The cashier remarked that those planchets have been sought for quite often. I just smiled at her.

At home I continued working on the blueprints, and locked my room to do so. My parents did not notice yet, which is good, because otherwise they would worry more. I worked on them for a long time until I fell asleep.

The next day Ayano chan brought me the black book with the grey sigils. It is about the soul and the body, and how they are connected and tells about a "soul tape". When people are procreated and born their souls get tied to their bodies.

The book talks about how the tape is created. It is very difficult to create. But from the book you can infer a ritual which will have the same function. You need certain spaces, times and objects for it to work better and you need to get lots of energy. The energy can be gained from heat or light and channelled with prisms, and some of my blood will be used too, the ritual is using blood magic.

The ritual is very risky and we will take many safety precautions with more contingency plans.

We will utilize much more energy reservoirs in case more energy is needed, more than ten times the energy that we predict it will take and we will also have a similar amount of energy storing devices for the ritual and many barriers should explosions take place.
