Julianna was fully ready for her gym battle with Larry.

With this being a three-on-three gym battle she chose Teodscruel, Tinkatuff, and Armarouge.

Clodsire, Koraidon, and Quaxwell were watching her from the sidelines of the gym's noodle bar only because Clodsire was there to keep watch on Quaxwell.

"Hello," Larry stated dryly as he walked onto the battlefield and retrieved a Pokeball from his briefcase.

"My name is Larry I'm assigned to work as the gym leader for Madali Gym"

"I'm assuming you're here for battle?"

"You bet Mr. Larry"

"Alright then Komala go"

"Martillo Vamos!"

"Flash Cannon!"

"Sucker Punch"

Before Tinkatuff could get off the ball of white light Komala slugged her in the gut with its log.

"Ice Spinner" Komala's feet became coated in fin blue ice and spun into Tinkatuff.

"Flash Cannon!" Tinkatuff gathered another ball of light and sent Komala flying back.

"Yawn" Komala released a stream of white bubbles at Tinkatuff.

"Pop them with Rock Smash!" Tinkatuff's hammer began to glow orange and then smashed through the white bubbles.

"Sucker Punch" Komala attacked again with Sucker Punch slamming Tinkatuff.

"Shadow Claw"

"Play Rouge!"

Shadow Claw and Play Rouge collided midfield sending them both back to their trainers.

"Rock Smash!"

"Sucker Punch"

"Now Rock Smash on the ground!" by attacking the ground Tinkatuff was no longer attacking the Sucker Punch failed but still left Komala exposed.

"Rock Smash again!" Tinkatuff smashed Komala in the head with Rock Smash sending it spinning back on its log.

"Ice Spinner"

"Tinkatuff take it!" Tinkatuff was sent back by the spinning ice in her face but didn't fall over.

"Now Flash Cannon on the Log!" Tinkatuff fired the ball of light at the log launching into Komala and sending them flying into the air.

"Now Play Rouge!" Tinkatuff lunged at Komala as he got off the ground landing multiple frolicking strikes on it knocking out the Drowsing Pokémon.

"Come on Larry give it some guts!" the chef cheered from the sidelines.

"Alright then go Dudunsparce"

"Hu, you know I wonder if Nashi's got one of those yet he said it was a few levels off," Julianna thought back to her friend's ace and how she hadn't spoken to him or any of her friends in days.

"No matter I can worry about that once this battle is over then I can stop training for a bit"

"Rock Smash!"

"Glare" Tinkatuff smashed Dundunsparce in the face but was paralyzed by the harsh red glare from the Land Snake Pokémon.

"Drill Run"

"Play Rouge!"

Tinkatuff was too slow on the draw from the Paralysis getting smashed by Dudunsparce's spinning tail.

"Flamethrower" Tinkatuff was paralyzed and got the full brunt of the flames. When the smoke cleared Tinkatuff lay on the ground fainted.

"Toedscruel vamos!"

"Mud Shot!"

"Counter with Hyper Drill" Spinning its tail at a high speed Dudunsparce overpowered the Mud Shot and kept spinning towards Toedscruel.

"Dodge it!"

"Mud Shot again!" this time Mud Shot connected starting to slow Dudunsparce down.

"Glare" With another red glare of its eyes, Toedscruel stood frozen, unable to move.

"Flamethrower"

"Take it then Spore!" The stream of flames enveloped Toedcruel. When the flames dissipated Toedscuel fired a stream of orange and green powder at Dudunsparce instantly putting it on the ground in sleep.

"Mega Drain don't stop!"

With a wave of green energy, Toedscruel began to suck the energy from the sleeping Dudunsparce until she was stopped by a surge of electricity going through her body.

At that moment Dudunsparce awoke from its sleep.

"Flamethrower"

"Mud Shot!" Toedscruel overpowered the stream of flames with the ball of mud colliding with Dudunsparce.

"Hyper Drill"

"Mud Shot again!"

Dudunsparce had been fairly slowed down by the previous Mud Shots the spinning tail came slow enough for the paralyzed Ayuda to land another Mud Shot. The ball of mud collided with the Hyper Drill causing the mud to burst into a fountain around the battlefield.

When the fountain of mud cleared from Julianna's field of vision both Pokémon lay fainted on the ground.

"Armarouge Vamos!"

"Go Staraptor"

"Come on Larry show um!" the noodle chef cheered from the sidelines.

"Well, you heard the folks guess I can put on more of a show. Besides don't think my boss would be too happy since you know the league rules and all" Larry pulled out his Tera Orb from his briefcase and Granny tossed it on Staraptor creating a burst of beige light and a crystal resembling the normal gem appearing on the birds head.

"Rebelde let's put on a show too, Tiempo de Terastylize!" throwing her own Tera Orb at Armarouge who eagerly chest bumped it creating a burst of red light and a red chandelier to forum over his head.

"Tera Blast" Staraptor gathered the Tera energy from around its body creating a ball of white energy that he then fired at Armarouge.

"Lave Plume!" The two attacks collided mid-field in a swirl of red and white causing both opponents to flinch from the cascade of crystals sent flying by the attack.

"Brave Bird"

"Dodge it then Will-O-Wisp!" Staraptor swooped down becoming engulfed in an orange aura around it. Armarouge wasn't able to dodge it in time but by limboing he let his armor take the hit and avoid the worst of the damage.

With Staraptor flinching from the recoil Armarouge fired the balls of purple-blue fire burning it.

"Facade" A brief burst of orange-yellow aura surrounded Staraptor before it charged forward and struck Armarouge. With the boost from Tera and burn it did a large amount of damage even with the halved attack sending Amarouge rolling into the field barrier.

"Facade again"

"Use Psyshock on the barrier then dodge it!" Armarouge went for Psyshock guiding the purple balls of psychic energy around the field barrier creating a burst of purple, letting him roll out of the way of the incoming Facade.

"Now Psyshock!" with the use of another Psyshock Staraptor was cornered against the wall and taking damage from its burn.

"Now Lava Plume!"

"Close Combat on the ground" By furiously attacking the ground Staraptor was able to propel itself out of the way and was back in the air.

"Tera Blast" Staraptor fired another Tera Blast although the burn meant it did significantly less damage.

"Facade"

"Wait until it's close" Julianna ordered.

"Now Lave Plume!" Just as Staraptor swooped in to deliver the Facade Armarouge fired the Lava Plume directly in front of it repelling it back into the air.

Amarouge was still obscured underneath the blanket of red crystals from the Lava Plume. Julianna could capitalize on that.

"Finish it off with Clear Smog!" Armarouge fired the white smog at Staraptor who couldn't dodge it since it never missed.

Staraptor plummeted out of the sky the Tera Crystal shattering in a crescendo of beige and white knocked out.

"Rrrrouge" Rebelde jumped in the air raising his arms in celebration as the Tera Crystal disappeared from his head.

"You certainly threw me for a loop" Larry congratulated in a very unenthused voice.

"You're rather strong, aren't you? Enough to bring out my poker face even"

"I lost so that means I give you this" Yet again from his briefcase Larry pulled out the normal badge.

"But… that battle made me hungry Care to join me for a meal?"

"Sure I've got nothing else to do"

"Hey Larry how's it going?" Nemona asked cheerfully walking into the Medalia gym with Lycanroc.

"I just got out of a gym battle so my Pokémon need to rest if you want a battle" Larry replied putting a box of leftover noodles in his briefcase.

"Oh no, that's not what I was going to ask do you remember who that battle was with?"

"It was a girl I'm pretty sure her name was Julianna but I would need to check the gym log to make sure"

"No that would definitely be her I was just looking for her. She's been training herself ragged to not fall behind"

Larry gave a weak chuckle "Fall behind she was the only other challenger I've got this year aside from you even Rika's younger brother didn't beat her and I heard from Iono and Kofu that he's looking like he's the favorite to come runner up in the Academy Tournament"

"That's the thing I'm worrying about she's been training way too hard and it's to the point it's affecting her health and relationships"

"Show her it's not worth it" Larry suggested.

"Huh?"

"Show her overworking herself she is just gonna end up like me burnt out and dejected. Challenge her to an all-out battle 6v6 I'm confident you'd win"

"Larry, don't you think that's kind of extreme?"

"I don't know the full context but maybe she needs something extreme for her to see the error of her ways wish someone did that for me when I was younger"

"Now if you excuse me I have some work to attend to"

"Bien entonces Larry have a good day"

"You too"

"So Ortega why did you call us in here today?" Erie asked.

"Come on Erie I think you know why I called you into the lovely ruchba squad's base today" Ortega replied stroking the Dachsbun in his lap.

"We have a bit of a situation on our hands. A very big obnoxious bully of a problem"

"You're talking about Julianna aren't you?"

"Yes because I'm getting really sick of this little perra messing up this family that we worked so hard to build!"

"I agree we need to do something about her but what are we gonna do attack her well she's not looking?"

Ortega smirked "Precisely"

"Don't you think that it's a bit against what we stand for isn't that what we stand against so tomorrow when everyone is brought back to the academy for their Treasure Hunt interim report"

"Yes and Julianna is the type of person we're meant to stand against so let's give her a taste of her own medicine" Digging through his pockets Ortega pulled out three Pokeballs and brought out the former boss's aces Kingambit, Armarouge, and Revavroom.

"Dachsbun was able to acquire the other admins' strongest Pokémon"

"Yes I can see that but why do you need them?"

"We attack the academy tomorrow our grunts distract the rest of the students, well these 3 along with Dachsbun and your Annihilape she won't stand a chance"

"Alright so then what the academy will surely take action against us for something like this"

"Sure but wouldn't you like to see Julianna on the ground with a bloody nose and broken teeth"

"No, actually I don't like violence"

"Well anywho nobody likes a goody two shoes and I think that it's about time that Team Star made a proper statement on what we stand for" Ortega returned them to their pokeballs.

"Tomorrow we attack the school tomorrow got that"

"Alright then but I'm not going to break her nose without cause got that"

"Yes Erie I've got that"

"Good"

"Get all of the Caph squad ready make sure they know what to do"

"They want us to what now!" Oort asked in disbelief.

"That's the message they gave us"

"Shit Florians not gonna take that well since he's actually friends with them"

"I mean from what I've seen of them Julianna and her friends seem like nice people"

"That doesn't change the fact that she's a bully that beats up on helpless kids who have nobody"

"Well, it isn't like they have nobody anymore the grunts from the other squads are still in touch with each other most of them are still friends. Hell I met all of my friends here"

"Exactly! So why would she want us to end that because she's a selfish fucking bitch who doesn't understand us"

"I know and I agree with you but are the other students like Nashi or Cherry responsible for something like this they've only been here for a month or so"

"It doesn't matter, silence causes violence and Team Star protects each other are you just gonna walk out on people when you're supposed to have their back?"

"NO Ana shit you sound like what my parents used to sound like when they would argue"

"Anyway just be there tomorrow ka?"

"Yes Ana"

Javier couldn't help it once he was out of sight he pulled out his phone.

Hey Nashi heads up I saw someone online Team Star is planning on attacking the academy in retaliation for what Julianna's done to them be ready at lunch.

"What the hell's he rambling about?" Cherry asked from beside Nashi as they walked out of the school for lunch"

"Don't know he just sent it to me this morning"

Even if he didn't know if it was true Nashi still reached for Dudunsparce's pokeball in his pocket.

The Wigglytuff charging at him with Giga Impact confirmed that he wasn't lying.

Sorry if this gym battle was fairly boring since it's Larry and he doesn't seem like the type to do something big and flashy.
