Chapter 22:Geija Tsuka: Unusual Artworks.
People think I am weird, because I don´t talk much.
I just like drawing art. A lot. Like my parents. This is my life.
I talk little, because I draw art and have no interest in talking with people.
I hate getting distracted from drawing by people. But I´m okay with critiquing art.
One day, some raven haired girl asked me, if she could draw art here, despite not joining the arts club.
She gave me treats from the cooking club. I accepted. "Fine. You may."
The she told me that l look similar to the protagonist from one of the Anime´s I have watched. Amusing. I just showed her one of my drawings, a portrait of the Protagonist of this anime. I pointed to myself. "No superpowers. Just like drawing. And anime."
Then I continued drawing.
I drew a volcano again. Then trees.
Then I saw that the girl had finished her first drawings.
They were construction blueprints of mechas and drones. They were drawn with precision, but the strokes were very thin and there was too little colour for an art piece.
"Woah, technology. Precise strokes. Blueprints. However, Art,… Needs colour. It´s dull."
I drew a beach with palms. The I drew a fish on a riverbed. Then some caves with stalagmites and stalactites.
Next drawing of the girl was a science lab.
"Nice. Good colours. Keep going. It´s good."
Then I continued drawing the caves and then drew a portrait of a girl with red hair.
The next drawings of the raven haired girl were … different.
A murderous young women wielding a knife, with grey hair, bloodstained clothing and a crazed expression on her face. The eyes are insane!
The same mad women holding a severed head.
Black things with tendrils…demons?
A kidnapped prisoner being tortured and pleading to be let go.
An angry spirit of a murder victim.
Borupen Saishiki looked at the artworks with morbid interest. But the other club members, including me, were not as happy. I decided to step in.
"Woah, that's crazy. Please stop. Too scary. Students disturbed. Reputation endangered."
"All right, I understand, I'm sorry for drawing such scary things. I did not know that it would scare you so much. I will draw less disturbing things, okay?"
"Much appreciated"
The final Artwork of her was a whole body drawing of a young woman. She has a black and red school uniform, short, black hair, which covers one of her eyes, and the other eye is red, and her face is grim and solemn.
I really liked this one and applauded the raven haired girl for her artwork.
She told me that this drawing depicts nemesis, a character from the anime "retribution".
Other than art I like anime and books, so I know that such an anime exists, but I dislike violence. therefore I never watched it.
Unfortunately the raven haired girl had lost her interest in drawing and left again for the foreseeable future. How sad, her artworks were really interesting…if not disturbing at times.
Never mind, I have so many more things yet to draw. This is fun.
