Round 2: Ash vs Mandi
Ash who is in the forest near Indigo Plateau training us team for best round.
"Okay, we are going to face Mandy on water field. Now, Kingler, Floatzel and Gyarados I select you" says Ash
"Ash wouldn't an electric type will be amazing" asks Misty
"I believe in my water types. Gyarados is with me since last ten years" says Ash as Gyarados nuzzled Ash
"Ash, don't loose this one. I want you to win this " says Gary as Ash nodded
"Let's get ready" says Ash as he recalled them and then left for the battle arena.
"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome our next participant of the day. On red side we have Mandi and on green corner we have Ash Ketchum who is known for his unique pokemon combination " says announcer as Ash and Mandi exit from tunnel. Crowd is cheering for Ash and Mandi
"So you are Ash, that everyone is cheering about. Too bad , you will loose soon" says Mandi
"Aren't you overconfident " asks Ash
"Nope, I trust myself, " says Mandi
"I have to break his over confidence " says Ash
"Ash, I didn't saw your battles but I believe that you probably have used a pathetic ratata or that pathetic Pikachu of yours" says Mandi
"Enough, you don't have any right to berate my pokemon. I will show you why you should not mess with any trainer who love their pokemon" says Ash
The battle started with Mandi sending his Exeggutor.
"Now we have to see which pokemon Ash will send" says Misty as Ash tossed his pokeball from which white light came out and went inside the pool. Everything is silent until Mandi asks "What, where is your pokemon. Is that a Magikarp"
"You got it right. Come out buddy" says Ash as water in the battle arena starts to shake violently until massive Gyarados emerged from water.
"What the hack" says Mandi "How is your Gyarados is so big"
Gyarados bend down in hope to get gentle rub.
"Isn't she great, I befriend her when I was five years old as a Magikarp. Shall we begin" asks Ash as Mandi get out of shock and nods
"Let the battle begin " says referee
"Gyarados let's trap Exeggutor in vortex of water" says Ash as Gyarados roared and then uses the twister that lifts Exeggutor in the air.
"Exeggutor use psychic " says Mandi
"Gyarados, use protect" says Ash as Gyarados uses protect but all of sudden platform below Exeggutor starts to frozen up.Soon he is now covered in ice block
"And Exeggutor is now engmcased in ice block, will he be able to get out of it" says commentator
"Use fire blast" says Ash
"What, he can use that" asks Mandi as Gyarados roared before launching blazing inferno fire ball that collides Exeggutor that causes explosion and then instantly knocked out Exeggutor
"How, " asks Mandi
"Simple, me and Gyarados are friends from past ten years and she trained from past nine years." says Ash
"Gyarados return, take some rest" says Ash as he recalled Gyarados back
Mandi then sends Kingdra and Ash sends his Kingler.
"Green corner have the first move" says referee
"Alright, Kingler. Let's shake this battle arena with a crabhammer" says Ash as Kingler slammed battlefield causing water to thrown upwards. Along with that Kingdra is thrown in the air. Kingler jumped and grabbed one of the floating platform and then freezes it before throwing it at Kingdra who got a direct hit.
"Wait that's illegal " says Mandi
"No it's not, " says referee as Kingdra jumped back in the water
"Okay Kingdra get under water" says Mandi as Kingdra starts to spin creating a whirlpool.
"You wanna play that way huh. Kingler hinder her movement, use rock slide, fill pool with rocks" asks Ash as Kingler glowed orange and multiple rocks fall from the sky and sinks in the pool. Few moments later Kingdra is surrounded by rocks with only one opening.
"No, get out of there" says Mandi
"Now use hyper beam" says Ash as this last move knocked out Kingdra
"Oh my Kingdra, I will revenge your death" says Mandi
"Too over dramatic" says Ash to himself as he recalled Kingler back
"You did great Kingler, take rest" says Ash as he recalled him back
"Crobat, avenge your fallen team member" says Mandi
"Crobat huh" says Ash as he tossed pokeball that released Floatzel.
"Floatzel, this is your first battle. Let's show them" says Ash as Floatzel nodded
"Ash is going with Floatzel, I can't wait to see his victory " says Misty as she is cheering for Ash
Battle started with Crobat using venoshock.
"Floatzel use ice counter shield" says Ash
"Counter what" asks Mandi as Floatzel starts to spin on water and then uses ice beam that not only stopped venoshick but it trapped Crobat and frozen it's wing.
"What a wonderful display" says announcer making crowd went wild.
"Now use ice aqua drill " says Ash as Floatzel switched to aqua jet in mid air and then uses ice beam that frozen it inplace. Floatzel spins and then charged at Crobat.
"Crobat stop it with steel wing" says Mandi but it connected with ice aqua drill.
"Use focus blast and then ice claw" says Ash as ice aqua jet broke into pieces causes mild explosion that sends Crobat away. Floatzel switch to ice claw and landed a direct hit on Crobat causing instant knock out
"Participant Mandi is out of usable pokemon. Trainer Ash moved to next round" says referee
"Alright Floatzel, you did great.Take some rest" says Ash as Floatzel puffed his sac to show his excitement before Ash recalled him back
"Ash, you did great. I am glad you are moving to next round. That crab hammer and rockslide technique was amazing and that countershield. " says Mandi
"Thanks" says Ash as they both bids farewell
Round 3: Ash vs Pete
Few hours ago Ash won his second round and now Ash is against a boy named Pete Pebblemen.
"I saw your two battles, I must say they were amazing but you won't be going further." says Pete
"I know, why don't we settle it. Hey ref, can it take weight of few hundred kilo" says Ash
"Battlefield " asks referee as Ash nodded
"I guess so" says referee as he signalled to start battle.
"My first pokemon will be" says Pete as he sends Cloyster
"I guessed it right, Glaceon show them the grace of your icy movements" says Ash as he throws pokeball higher as it releases Glaceon who swnds ice beam and created a path on which she glides that met near Ash's feet.
"Wow , that's a spectacular entry" says announcer as everyone cheers
Glaceon tackle Ash to ground. "Not this time girl, why don't you battle. " says Ash as Glaceon squeals and then she faced Cloyster.
"Remember, his hard shell is something you need to look out for" says Ash as she gave Ash a death glare.
"I want to show the world about your strength" says Ash but Glaceon said something
"Why are you saying this, you know our other team member can easily stop him. Don't you want to show them your skills" asks Ash
"What other pokemon" asks Pete
"I must say that you don't want to see him" says Ash
"Please Glaceon, I promise that I will play with you" says Ash as Glaceon nodded before she is ready to face Cloyster
"Cloyster vs Glaceon, let the battle begin" says referee
"Cloyster start with the super sonic" says Pete. Glaceon stopped the attack.
"Cloyster use ice shard" says Pete as Cloyster sends ice shards at the Glaceon
"Glaceon intercept it with your own ice shard " says Ash as both ice shard collide causing explosion. Soon hail started that created spectacular view.
"Glaceon use roar" says Ash as Glaceon released red aura that it Cloyster causing it to switch with Flareon.
"And Ash brings out Flareon " says announcer
but Glaceon is already ready and it uses yawn that causer Flareon to put to sleep.
"Flareon please stood back" says Pete
"And Ash already created pressure on Pete" says announcer. Pete tried to recall Flareon but it didn't worked.
"You can't, my Glaceon uses mean look with yawn, so no hope of recalling her back. Except" says Ash as he stopped. Gary is surprised by Ash's strategy. Soon Flareon stood back and faced Glaceon. Battle continued as Flareon uses flame charge.
"Glaceon use chilling water" says Ash as Glaceon raised her head and formed a icy blue orb before unleashing the stream of water that striked the flame charge Flareon causing her to skid back. This drenched Flareon in water.
"Flareon no" says Pete
"Now Glaceon use chilling avalanche " says Ash as Glaceon's body glows light blue, and a dark cloud appears above the Flareon. Chunks of white or clear ice then rain down from the cloud. Glaceon uses chilling water on Flareon that tried to evade the attack and on other side Flareon hit by ice chunk.
Flareon stood back and then glared her ice type counterpart.
"Alright, your Flareon is male and my Glaceon is female. You know what that mean. I am afraid that I wanted to refrain myself from using this. " says Ash as Glaceon nodded. Glaceon then uses attract.
"Use firespin and burn them" says Pete as firespin destroyed the attract.
"Now what" asks Pete as Glaceon disappeared using substitute and appeared above Flareon with a glowing tail that knocked it out instantly.
"Attract was a distraction, I used substitute to attack you" says Ash as Glaceon declared winner.
"Glaceon you were amazing. Why don't you play with Misty and watch battle " says Ash as Glaceon nodded
"You shocked me, but face my Cloyster" says Pete as he sends Cloyster as Ash sends his Froslass. Battle quickly over with Frosslass using psychic, will-o-wisp , hyper beam and confuse ray.
"You did amazing. Take rest" says Ash as he recalled her back.
"Now my final pokemon is " says Pete as he sends his Arcanine and Ash sends his Squirtle
"Squirtle ready to battle" asks Ash as Squirtle nodded
"Arcanine use flamethrower ," says Pete
"Squirtle use counter shield" says Ash
This time flamethrower stopped by counter shield.
"Not again" says Pete
"I can't use fire blast either. This won't do any serious damage to Squirtle." says Pete
"Sqiirtle use rain dance" says Ash as Squirtle summon black clouds that starts to rain.
"Arcanine use fire spin" says Pete
"Squirtle counter with whirlpool" says As as Whirlpool formed in front of Squirtle before it connected with firespin.
"He have every move to counter the fire type moves." says Pete
"I need to trap Arcanine, " says Ash
Squirtle uses yawn, Arcanine evaded most but it fell asleep.
"Arcanine wake up" says Pete as he held his head
"Now Squirtle use full power hydro pump. " says Ash as with this attack Squirtle wins.
"Trainer Pete is unable to battle. Winner is Squirtle and Ash Ketchum. This means Ash Ketchum moves to next round.
"You did great Squirtle" says Ash as Squirtle hugs Ash and he recalls Squirtle back.
The fourth round rumble
Two hours later Ash is ready to take down his next opponent on grass field.
"All the best Ash" says Misty
"Thanks," says Ash
"Which pokemon you will pick" asks Gary
"Electric and ground, Pikachu, Electrode and Torterra" says Ash as he switched his pokemon team.
Ten minutes later Ash walked into the battle arena. Jeanette is also very popular. When she entered the stadium, Jeanette had a red carpet laid out for her, flower petals were tossed on her, and she even had a cheering squad of her own.
"Show off" says Pikachu
"Yeah, I know" says Ash
"Ladies and gentlemen, another battle of the day. On red corner we have Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in Kanto and Jeanette from Crimson city in Kanto. This will be a three on three battle and forst one to defat opponent wins. Substitution is allowed" says referee
"I see,you are Ash Ketchum who won the rounds. But I must tell you that you won't be able to defeat me." says Jeanette
"We will see, " says Ash
"Trainers send your first pokemon" says referee
Jeanette sends her Beedrill and Ash sends his Electrode.
"Aren't your Electrode odd and how is he that big," asks Jeanette
"Yes he is different because he is part grass type and he is big because he is one of the alpha species. Much like totem pokemon of Alola or titan pokemon of Paldea" says Ash
"I never saw a part grass type Electrode " says Jeanette
"I was training in wild and I found him. " says Ash as battle started. Ash got a first chance and he ordered rain dance and then rain started.
"Ash truly trained his pokemon " says Brock
"Yes, using rain dance as a good strategy" says Gary
"Beedrill use poison sting" says Jeanette as Beedrill uses poison sting.
"Electrode use thunder counter shield and then electric terrain" says Ash as Electrode discharge electricity that blocked Beedrill and strike it causing it to fall on ground. Electrode also uses electric terrain covering grassy field with electricity.
"Beedrill no" says Jeanette as Beedrill fell on ground and caught in electricity.
"Now finish with thunder" says Ash as thunder strikes from cloud that knocked out Beedrill. With that, black clouds disappeared.
"You did great, take rest buddy" says Ash as Electrode jumped in happiness and then Ash recalled him back.
"You may have defeated my Beedrill, will you defeat him" asks Jeanette as she sends her Scyther
"Scyther huh," says Ash as he sends his next pokemon. As they saw the new pokemon, crowd starts to murmur
"What's that" asks Jeanette
"Meet Kleavor, rock and bug type evolution of Scyther. It's evolved using black augurite. Though this item is rare now and you can't find that. My scyther accidently stepped on odd stone in forest of Sinnoh that caused him to evolve" says Ash
"Without any delay, let's start " says Ash as Scyther started with slash as Kleavor blocked it with his stone axe. Kleavor uses ominous wind that pushed Scyther back and then uses the stone edge that pinned Scyther to ground. For next few minutes exchange of attacks took place until Kleavor uses stone axe to land a critical hit on abdomen causing Scyther to faint.
"Scyther is unable to battle. Winner is Kleavor. " says referee as Jeanette sends her final pokemon.
"A Bellsprout " says Ash as he recalled Kleavor after thanking him.
"Now " says Ash as he sends his Muk. As Muk came out, it smother Ash
"Hey Muk, we need to battle. Can you face Bellsprout " asks Ash as Muk releases Ash
Battle begun as Muk is able to absorb all Bellsprout's Slam and Razor Leaf attacks with ease, then uses a Body Slam.
"Almighty god, please take me. I can't tolerate this big pile of sludge " says Bellsprout
Muk's weight smothers Bellsprout, who soon faints.
"What ? No this can't be happening " says Jeanette as she is depressed
"Hey, don't be so depressed. We will battle again and who knows that you win next time" says Ash as Jeanette nodded. As Ash wins the battle, and has now cleared all four preliminary fields to advance through to the next round of competition.
The remaining participants are gathered and Ash is in stadium.
Meanwhile, on the Indigo Plateau, two unknown entities levitate, observing the humans.
"These humans are too much; they pit Pokémon against each other just for fun. They don't care about their Pokémon's lives," says one entity.
"Right, they hunger for Pokémon power, misusing them," adds another.
"I want to play their game," says yet another entity, snapping its fingers, causing them to vanish.
Unknown Location:
Ash opens his eyes and finds himself on an abandoned island.
"Pikachu, where are you?" he calls out as he frantically searches for his loyal companion. It dawns on Ash that his Pokémon are back at Professor Oak's lab.
"Wait, where am I?" he asks, taking in the vast landscape that stretches for miles, a strange dome in the sky crackling with electricity.
"Let's check in the pokedex" says Ash but to his surprise electronic device don't work anymore.
"Now what should I do " asks Ash as he can't find his pokemon
