Everyone was still shocked by what happened with Toothless; even the Marines were shocked.

"T-Toothless…" Snotlout stared. "He's gone! What the hell did you do to him? Where is he? You bring her back, you monster!"

"Toothless…" Hiccup stared. "What did you do? Toothless, no… Toothless!"

Heather then saw Chopper behind, swinging his claw down towards them. She quickly grabbed Hiccup and jumped to safety as he slammed his claw onto the ground before Sachihiro.

"Chopper, stop this! You've lost control!" Heather yelled.

Chopper didn't appear to understand her and kept on roaring.

"Toothless!" Hiccup yelled. "Where the hell are you?"

Sachihiro had to dodge one of Chopper's attacks again, but they quickly had to dodge another swing claw. Chopper then began pounding the ground randomly.

"This beast has gone mad," said Sachihiro, and then his eyes turned to Kuma. "But that's not what worries me. I want to know what he is doing here?"

Both Rayleigh and Kia were still battling it out.

"Well, Kuma Bartholomew," said Kia, looking from the corner of his eye. "Can't trust pirates. The Seven Warlords are supposed to be at Navy HQ."

"I wish I could help, but there's nothing I can do," said Rayleigh regretfully.

"It's like Toothless was erased," said Eret. "I'm going to guess that means this guy is the genuine Kuma."

"There's no question," said Astrid. "That power he used, me and Fishlegs saw it before."

"That ghost girl on Breakneck Bog, he made her disappear just like that," said Fishlegs.

Astrid nodded. "That was the last we saw of her."

"But does that mean he's dead?" Tuffnut asked.

"Don't talk nonsense, of course, he's alive," said Ruffnut.

Hiccup turned to Sachihiro. "Hey, what the hell did he do to Toothless? Where is he?"

"You think I'm going to answer you?" said Sachihiro. "Did you forget that I'm the world's most guarded man? But someone might tell you that he can send you flying for three days and nights with those paw pads. Can't say if it's true or not, but that's the rumour. Only Kuma knows where they go, but there's no way you're going to find your friend on these islands or anywhere else around here, for that matter. He'll probably land on the other side of the world."

"What?" Hiccup stared as he looked back at Kuma.

Ragnar lifted himself up, but his shoulder was throbbing.

"Say something, damnit!" Snotlout demanded. "Tell us what you did! Tell us where you sent Toothless!"

"So that's the real deal, huh?" Ragnar winced. "The first three were bad enough, and now he shows up to finish the job? There's no way to win."

"What kind of power is that?" Skull stared.

Kuma then began walking towards them, and Snotlout instantly raised his fists.

"Stop it! Get back!" he warned. "You stay away from me!"

PX-1 was now targeting Snotlout while his back was turned.

Ragnar was the first to notice that he was aiming its mouth laser at him. "Snotlout, look out behind you! Get down!"

"Oh crap," said Snotlout as he spun around.

"Snotlout, no!" said Skull.

Then, something unexpected happened: Kuma suddenly appeared before PX-1 and placed his palm on its chest.

"Don't interfere," he said.

A split second later, PX-1, then it's just like Toothless, much to the confusion of everyone.

"He erased him? But why?" Ragnar stared.

Kuma then turned around and looked at the three of them.

"That was PX-1 he just hit!" Sachihiro growled. "What is your problem, you fool? That was your ally!"

"Don't just sit there, run!" Hiccup yelled at the top of his voice.

"Hiccup?" Snotlout blinked.

"Just get out of there!" Hiccup yelled. "We can figure out a plan once we're safe. Run!"

Everyone was rather stunned at Hiccup. He would never abandon one of their own, but their situation was far worse than they had witnessed.

"You heard him," said Eret, looking at Fishlegs.

"What about Toothless?" Fishlegs asked.

"Yeah, we can't just leave him," said Tuffnut.

"He wouldn't abandon us," said Ruffnut.

"But he wouldn't want to risk our lives either," said Astrid. "Hiccup's right, we need to find a safe place and come up with a plan."

Reluctantly, they ran off.

Snotlout then helped Ragnar onto his feet. "That beam just grazed me; I can help you walk."

Unfortunately, Kuma was already upon them before they could even make a single step.

Skull quickly placed himself in front of Kuma. "Get going, I'll cover you."

"Stop it, Skull, that's crazy!" Snotlout yelled.

Kuma then swung his palm down upon Skull.

"I'll protect you even if it costs me my life," Skull vowed. "Though technically, I'm already dead, so…"

Kuma struck him with his palm, and he vanished into thin air.

"Skull, no!" Snotlout yelled.

Hiccup was too stunned to speak; they had just lost another crew member.

"That bastard did it again," said Sachihiro, looking rather frustrated.

"Damnit!" Ragnar cursed. "How could I have let this happen? The bastard is erasing all my friends right in front of me." He then pushed Snotlout back and faced Kuma. "Get back."

"Ragnar?" Snotlout stared.

"Start running, Snotlout."

"Not a chance; there's no way I'm going without you!"

"Damnit," said Ragnar, then launched himself at Kuma.

"Ragnar, just run!" Hiccup yelled.

"Nobody does that to my crew!" Ragnar yelled and swung his leg at him.

Kuma merely raised his palm and sent him bouncing back, where he crashed into some ruins.

"Ragnar!" Hiccup yelled.

Snotlout just looked at Kuma, completely terrified, unable to move an inch. Kuma slowly began to advance towards him, and with every step he took, Snotlout quivered even more.

"Snotlout, run!" Ragnar yelled.

Kuma then swung his palm at Snotlout, and just like the others, he disappeared.

"Snotlout!" Hiccup yelled.

In a rage, Ragnar then charged at Kuma.

"Ragnar!" Hiccup yelled.

"Damn you!" Ragnar yelled.

"You can't win! Don't fight!"

Too late, Kuma struck him with his palm, and he vanished.

"He got Ragnar," said Hiccup, stunned. "What now? What do we do?"

"It can't be," said Astrid shocked. "They're all gone."

Rayleigh was still battling against Kia, unable to provide any assistance.

"It's starting to sound like they could use my help over there," he said. "There's only so much that an old man can do. I guess I'm not quite the fight I used to be."

"So fending off a Navy Admiral is enough to make you satisfied, huh?" said Kia. "Why don't you keep those thoughts to yourself? You're already making me look bad, you know!"

He then plunged his sword forward, but Rayleigh was able to parry him. He then jumped back, getting a little exhausted.

"Dark King Rayleigh, correct?" said a voice.

Then, suddenly appearing between both he and Kia was Kuma.

"Kuma?" said Kia, looking surprised.

Kuma then leaned in towards Rayleigh and whispered something in his ear that surprised him.

Hiccup, meanwhile, was in complete shock and began walking towards Kuma.

"Wait, Hiccup," said Heather.

"You can't be serious," said Rayleigh, looking at Kuma. "You're asking me to trust you?"

"That's entirely your decision, but I am putting my own neck on the line too," he said.

Kia frowned. "All right, I feel like I deserve an explanation here, Kuma."

"This matter is of no consequence to the Government," said Kuma. "So I have no obligation to cooperate with the Navy, and you deserve nothing of the sort."

"You bastard!" Hiccup roared as he took on his Beta Form. "Now, Beta Mode!"

"Hiccup!" Astrid yelled.

"We have to move," said Eret.

"You go, I'm going to help him," said Astrid and ran off.

"Astrid!" Fishlegs yelled.

He was just about to chase after her when Eret grabbed him. "We can't stay here."

Fishlegs nodded reluctantly, and he, Eret and the twins ran off as Astrid rushed over to Hiccup.

However, Kuma suddenly vanished and reappeared before Fishlegs and the others.

"Get the hell out of our way! Strong Right!" Eret yelled and launched his right arm directly at him. His attack struck him in the face, but Kuma was completely unfazed by it. "What the?!"

Hiccup then suddenly took off.

"Hiccup, no!" Heather yelled.

"Plasma Shot!" Hiccup roared and fired a very fast-moving plasma blast.

Kuma, however, raised his palm and deflected the blast away from him. Hiccup came flying in, swinging his fist and slamming it into his palm, but he suddenly was bounced back.

"Hiccup!" Eret yelled.

Kuma then appeared right next to him, and before he had any time to react, Eret vanished like the others. The twins then immediately launched at him with his swords drawn, but he wiped them with his palm at the same time, and they both vanished.

Hiccup looked up and stared in horror as Kuma advanced towards Fishlegs.

"Someone, help me!" Fishlegs yelled.

"Fishlegs!" Hiccup yelled.

Fishlegs then vanished as well with a single swipe of Kuma's hand.

Hiccup, filled with rage, charged at Kuma and swung his fist at him, but he vanished before he could make contact.

"Hiccup!" Heather yelled.

Suddenly, she felt the ground shake and turned to look at Chopper, who was still on a rampage.

"Chopper, no," she said.

Chopper was now looking worn out, and Kuma appeared directly in front of him. Astrid had finally reached Hiccup and then helped him to his feet.

"Steady," she said.

They looked up and saw Chopper swinging his claw at Kuma, who raised his palm.

"Chopper, no! Don't do it!" Hiccup yelled.

What happened next came to no one's surprise; with a single swing of his hand, Chopper disappeared.

"Damnit," Hiccup cried.

Astrid held him close, not sure what to say; she, too, was rather distraught by what had happened in the past five minutes. They then watched as Kuma advanced towards Heather, who backed away from him and ran.

"No more… please stop," Hiccup begged. "Please stop… just stop. Please stop." He then clenched his fist and looked directly at Kuma. "Stop it! Leave alone!"

He then immediately ran towards Heather.

"Hiccup, no!" Astrid yelled, running after him.

Kuma then appeared directly in front of Heather.

"Hiccup!" said Heather, looking at him.

"Heather!" Hiccup yelled out, stretching his hand to her.

"Hiccup… Astrid!" Heather screamed as she reached out.

But she vanished into thin air before she could grab hold of Hiccup.

In that instant, Hiccup realised he had failed to protect his crew and burst into tears. Astrid had caught up with him and bent down next to him. He instantly grabbed hold of her and cried into her shoulder, and she wrapped her arms around him.

"How could I… I'm useless," he cried. "I failed to protect my crew! Toothless… Snotlout… Fishlegs… Ruffnut… Tuffnut… Chopper… Heather… Eret… Skull… they're all gone."

The sun was beginning to set, and all the fighting had stopped as all eyes had fallen onto Hiccup.

"I couldn't save any of them," he said, looking at Astrid. "And I can't save you. I'm a terrible excuse for a Captain."

"You haven't failed anyone, and if the others were here, they would say the exact same thing," she said gently.

Kia looked at Kuma. "So… you're just going to blast them like the rest? You can't pull this mess without an explanation, you know. And boy, it had better be a good one."

Rayleigh stood there in silence, knowing he could do nothing to help.

Kuma then approached Hiccup and Astrid, both of whom just sat there.

"You and I will never meet again," he said, looking at Hiccup and raising his hand. "Farewell, Hiccup Haddock."

A split second later, the two disappeared like all the others.
