A few hours later

"You just let her go?" Alastair yelled at his sister.

Petra just sat in one of the most comfortable chairs in the living room calmly sipping some coffee. "What was I supposed to do Alistair. She's a grown-up," Petra asked her brother.

"You never should have allowed those men in this house!" Alastair exclaimed. "You should sent them away with a flea in their ears."

"Now that's enough Alastair Jonathan. You are being ridiculous. Cassia invited them here and they seem really nice. Even if they're not that's not our responsibility unless our sister asks us for help. We've told you that before that we are grownups and despite your rather prejudiced view of us we can do whatever we please that is within the law and that includes getting married. Both of us are tired of your interference and it's one of the reasons that Cassia left without saying goodbye. You are coming very close to making me do something I don't want to do. Neither one of us need your interference and it's not like we're 16 years old and don't know what we're doing."

"But..." Alastair objected and Petra glared at him over the top of her coffee mug her eyes as hard as flint.

"If it does turn out to be a mistake it is Cassia's choice, but since I liked all three of them a great deal I don't see that being a problem. Cassia has always been a good judge of character," Petra said. "Why in the world are you trying to deny us our happiness is beyond me and Cassia and I have told you this before, but you just don't listen."

"So where were they going?" Alastair, asked casually and Petra laughed at him know exactly what her brother was thinking.

"Do you think I'd give you that information so easily little brother? I did not fall off the apple cart yesterday young man. Cassia didn't tell me, probably on purpose, because we both know you. She knew that you'd probably go after her to convince her to come home and you wouldn't care it would make her miserable, because to you she should always remain pure, even if she lost her virginity years ago. You just don't want her to get married at all ignoring the fact that we have needs too. You're ignoring that Cassia and her lovers have plenty of money between them and they could go anywhere in the world or its satellites where you couldn't get to them if you push it. They could immigrate to somewhere like Australia and you'd never find them except by pure dumb luck. Not to mention the fact Cassia is annoyed enough to tell you she never wants to see you again and this time she'll mean it."

Alastair winced at that, but he was only trying to protect his sister. A sister who didn't really need protection and was well able to protect herself if she needed to.

"She left while you were away so you wouldn't try to stop her," Petra told her brother not bothering to tell him that they were still in the city. Cassia had just decided she was staying with her lovers at their hotel and she had taken a lot of her clothes and things with her. She had left a lot of things behind though, because they just wouldn't fit in a tote bag or suitcase.

"I hate to mention this, but it was partly you that drove her to take this action," Petra told her brother after a few minutes of silence. "You didn't even have the decency to come and meet them and get their measure. No, instead you acted like a brat and got so drunk that an officer brought you home after you spent a night in a cell. You're lucky you're not facing charges. You call Cassia irresponsible well look in the mirror, little brother. You have caused more drama in our lives then Cassia ever has. You promised to be on your best behavior and come and meet them. You embarrassed us in front of our guests with your behavior and what did you get for all your childishness?"

"A pounding headache that felt like 1000 hammers pounding inside my skull," Alastair said wincing in remembered pain.

"You see," Petra pointed out. "You broke your promise. You didn't even try. You seem to expect Cassia to remain unmarried for the rest of her life and me as well."

"I might decide to get married one day and move elsewhere and what will you do then? You'll be on your own. Don't make me throw you out Alastair Jonathan Jasperson because I will. You have your own money and you can just get an apartment and you won't be welcome back until you stop this nonsense."

"You wouldn't," Alastair protested.

Petra stood having put her coffee aside and tapped her foot on the floor

"Do you think I wouldn't?" Petra asked her brother with a cooly raised eyebrow. "Cassia and I have both told you we've had enough of your attitude. You might be our brother but you have no right to stop us from finding a man we want to marry. Our parents would be so ashamed of you Alastair. They wanted their line to continue, wanted their daughters to be happy, have children. You will stop treating us like children that don't know any better. I am your elder by a considerable amount. Tough love might not be very pleasant for either one of us but if you make me I'll throw you out and not let you back in until you learn your lesson. I'll make sure I change the locks so that you can't use your old key. I realize you want to protect us, but you can't protect us from the world Alastair Jonathan. You have to trust our judgment."

Alastair looked down at his feet at his sister's stern words. He had been overprotective for years he knew, but that was only because he didn't want to feel abandoned. He was making his sisters miserable though. He had got himself so drunk a few days ago that he had never properly met his sister's boyfriends. He hadn't wanted to, he had just wanted them gone and while that had happened they had taken his sister with them.

His sister probably wanted nothing to do with him now, as she had been sick and tired of his attitude for a long time and now that he thought about it he couldn't blame her.

She had brought home her boyfriends in order to meet the family and he had acted like a child and refused to meet them.

"I'm sorry Petra," Alastair said still looking down at his feet.

"You don't need to apologize to me you need to apologize to your other sister. Cassia was as annoyed and angry as I've ever seen her," Petra said. "She was also very frustrated with you."

"I know I've been something of a trial ever since mom and dad died," Alastair admitted.

"Yes, you have," Petra said not absolving him of blame.

"How can I apologize when she's not here and I doubt very much she would answer her link if I did call," Alastair said.

"Probably not," Petra admitted. "Not until she gets over being mad at you. I'll call her in a few days and tell her to call you, so you can apologize but that's all I'm willing to do. It's up to you to apologize, to convince her you're being sincere and you'd better mean it this time or I'll throw you out and I mean that. If you even think about trying to kidnap her supposedly for her own good she'll disown you before you know it and probably hit you so hard you will regret ever trying such a tactic."

Alistair blushed, as that's what he had been planning to do originally and even though they were siblings it would still be considered kidnapping because his sister was an adult not a child. Cassia would probably press charges against him, even though he was her brother. If that were to happen it would be his fault for not treating his sister like the adult she was.

"I can see that's what you were originally planning and that would have been monumentally stupid. Normally, you're not a stupid man little brother, but you sure are acting like it," Petra observed her brother's blush and guessed what it meant. "Cassia wouldn't have appreciated such an action."

"No, she wouldn't have," Alastair admitted. "I'm not planning that anymore, though. I probably would've done it if you had told me her location, but now I'm reconsidering."

"Good you should," Petra said cautiously pleased. "Maybe you're finally growing up. It's about time. Still, I'll have to see how you behave from now on. Show me, you can behave and accept your sisters as adults. Adults who have a right to date or marry if they care to. Show me, you have really changed and you're not just saying the words like before."

"I will," Alistair swore.

"See that you do," Petra told him firmly.

"I don't blame you for doubting me considering my recent actions," Alastair said hanging his head in shame. "You're right, I have been acting like a brat. I just don't want to feel abandoned."

"Alastair, that is just so silly it's ridiculous. Cassia and I would never abandon you. But we do deserve lives brother dear. Ones with children eventually. While I've never met anyone I like enough to even consider it, the same isn't true for our sister."

"I can't help my feelings Pet," Alastair said.

"I suppose not," Petra admitted "and it probably goes back to losing our parents when you were barely a teenager. While I understand where you're coming from you need to learn to control that part of you or go see a psychologist so they can help you with it. Something you should have done years ago. I suppose I was so busy handling the details of our parents estate that you just slipped through the cracks. It was something I should've forced you to do back when you were 14."

"I would've balked and you know it," Alastair said.

"I still would have forced you to go since you were underage at the time and I wasn't. Technically, I was in charge of you and Cassia until you reached the age of 18," Petra told him. "I suppose now I can't force you because you are way past the age where I can. I am going to request however you consider it, as it would probably be able to help you with your issues of abandonment."

"I'll think about it," Alastair promised and Petra studied him seeing he was sincere.

"Please do," Petra said. "I know you probably don't want to and I can't blame you for that, but it would probably help you a lot and I want back the brother I used to know."

The two went their separate ways and Petra felt a lot better about Alastair than she had in sometime.

~~~Dave, Sabella, Aaron, Cassia~~~
Hotel somewhere in the city
"That was damn spectacular," Cassia sighed in content, as she lay between Dave and Aaron who had given her body quite the work out.
She'd just had some of the best sex she'd ever had in her life. If they did that to her every time she would be one happy and sexually satisfied woman.
"Glad you think so," Aaron grinned at her adorably.
"We've been waiting so long to have you," Dave added
"It really hasn't been that long. Technically. just a few weeks," Cassia said.
"We know. It just felt like it," Aaron said.
"You're well on your way to being immortal now," Dave added after an intense silence. "It won't be more than a few months at most. After that, if you want to get pregnant right away I will be happy to accommodate you."
"So will I," Aaron added.
"I can hardly wait," Cassia grinned. "As to your comment about having children I think we should get married first. Alastair however, is not invited unless he has learned to behave. As much as it hurts me not to have my brother there he would just try to stop the wedding from finishing."
"We're connected now," Dave said happily. "The bond has started to form. And while I appreciate that you're anxious to get married, I don't think we need to worry about a wedding at least right now. It's at least a few months away. Perhaps after you're immortal."
"We need to discuss wedding plans though they can wait a few weeks. It depends on how big a one you want," Cassia said. "If it's relatively small it won't take very long to plan if there's gonna be 500 people there then it's gonna take much longer.
"Wedding plans can be discussed some other time," Aaron said giving Cassia a kiss from where she was laying in the middle of him and Dave.
"I suppose," Cassia said falling silent.
"Is it safe to come in now?" came the voice of Sabella from the doorway, as she had decided to not join them until they were done with Cassia.
"Of course honeybear, I think we're done for the moment. I, at least, am very sexually satisfied." Dave told his other mate.
"So am I. I think it's time we actually sleep though, as morning will be here all too soon," Aaron said. "We can have another session in the morning."
"A good idea," Dave agreed suddenly sleepy. It was no wonder as they had been at it for several hours. Dave had had his turn, then Aaron. Both men had given Cassia's body quite the workout to where she was nothing more than a puddle of goo with no bone structure at all.
Sabella climbed onto the edge of the bed and the others shifted until she had enough room to lay down. Since she was on Dave's side of the bed he immediately took her in his arms and cuddled her close.
"We need to discuss where we're going tomorrow and make plans," Sabella said, from her position in Dave's arms.
"We do, but I think that can wait until morning," Cassia said yawning. "I'm so tired right now, all I want to do is sleep, but I am also very satisfied, so it was well worth it. I don't feel like I have any energy at all to do anything except sleep for the next week."
Cassia closed her eyes barely being able to keep them open and started to drift off to sleep with a smile on her face.
Aaron merely grunted mostly asleep and the discussion was dropped for when they were refreshed.
Everybody still awake dropped off to sleep right away and nothing disturbed them before morning.
