Kurt never thought his life could be this perfect as he looks to his side and thinks about the past night.
If you would've asked him how he imagined his life in the future back then in high school, getting bullied, slushied and harrassed and threatened by Karofski he never would have believed you if you told him how it is now.
Even tho Kurt graduated from NYADA he ended up at Vogue and in the fashion scene. Blaine is now a music teacher in a middle school after graduading from NYU.
Six years ago they finally got married after being engaged for quite a long while ad while focussing n graduation and finding jobs and setteling into their new lifes.
But now that they did and got married the couple was eager to take the next step and start a family with the dream of having two kids. Adoption helped them on their way there.
Leo, their little boy, is now three years old and Tracy, their little girl, is soon to be one year old. Sometimes it's exhausting. Jobs, kids, friends, family and still finding time for themselves.
But sometimes it's hard to even get those like uiet evenings after the kids are in bed. Just like last night.
Tracy felt asleep early and after reading him a bed story Leo was asleep too. Tired from the day Kurt threw himself onto the bed, fashion week is coming up and he has too work even harder to get everything ready in time. Blaine gave him a good night kiss after getting ready for be too and just like that they were sleep as well.
Shortly after falling asleep the door opens and Leo came in, crying over a nightmare he had where monster frogs ate all his sweets. Blaine smiled at him reasuringly, kissed him on the forehead and taking him in his arms, whispering to him that he don't need to worry and they will defend his sweets together now. They both fell asleep just like this.
Since Leo was fast asleep in Blaines arms Kurt is the one to stand up and get Tracy when she started crying in the room next door at 2 in the morning. He took her to the kitchen, gave her a bottle and then took her to the bedroom, holding her to his chest until she was completely quiet and her eyes started dropping slowly.
Then he layed her down between Blaine, with Leo in his arms, and himself, waited for her to fall asleep again and then closed his eyes too.
He woke up at 9 in the morning with having the whole family in his bed, everyone besides him still asleep. It's Saturday. Blaine doesn't has to work and even tho with fashion week coming Kurt would have to he decides to work a bit from home and just enjoy some time with his family.
His life is perfect. His life inspires him.
He takes paper and pen from his sidetable to his lap and again looks to the other side of the bed. Tracy still sleeping, probably not that long anymore, Leo still cuddled to his dads side and Blaine on his back, arm around his son and snorring softly.
Kurt smiles at his family. The moment feels perfect. Then he looks to the paper and starts a new scatch for a design idea he just had.
