Kurt spends the night at Blaines and they even get the house to themselves. But they are only allowed to if they both do their homework and don't stay up all night.

Like promised the boys do their homework and cook together. They eat and when the kitchen is cleaned again the couple decides to watch some tv and cuddle.

Just as they sit down on the couch and want to turn on the tv the lights turn off. Blaine tries to switch it on again or put the tv on but everything stays dark. Actually the whole house and most of the neighbour hood is dark.

Knowing that Kurt hates the dark Blaine goes back to his boyfrined and turns on the flashlight of his phone. Kurt hates the dark because since he lost his mom with 10 years he always feels a little more lonely in the dark. "I'm gonna check the power box. Wanna come with me?". "Yes please" the chestnut haired boy answers and jumps to his feet to follow his boyfriend.

As it turns out there's nothing the boys can do but to wait until the problem is fixed and the light turns on by itself again. Blaine can feel how tense Kurt is next to him so he takes him by his hand and leads him up to his room.

"Sit on the bed" he says and goes to light some candles on his desk, his sidetable and by the window to fill the room with a dim candle light. "Better?" He asks his boyfriend. The questioned boy nods but still looks a little uneasy and that's when Blaine gets an idea.

"Wait here. Just one moment" he says and rushes down to the living room to grab his guitar and then runs up again. He sits on the bed, opposite to his boyfriend. "We sing until the light turns on again or we're too tired" he says while he stums his guitar.

Here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo

Here comes the sun, and I say

It's alright

Little darlin', it's been a long, cold, lonely winter

Little darlin', it feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo

Here comes the sun, and I say

It's alright

Little darlin', the smile's returning to their faces

Little darlin', it seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun

Here comes the sun, and I say

It's alright

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darlin', I feel that ice is slowly melting

Little darlin', it seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo

Here comes the sun, and I say

It's alright

Here comes the sun, doo-doo-doo-doo

Here comes the sun

It's alright

It's alright

After that song Blaine sings the luckiest, seeing how Kurt more and more relaxes. When Blaine plays I'll be there for you Kurt joins him in the refrain. Just as they finish fly me to the moon as a duett the light turns on again.

The curly haired boy puts his guitar down and stands up to blow out the candles. Then he sits back down on the bed and takes Kurt in his arms.

"Thanks" Kurt says quietly and kisses his boyfriend. "For you always" the boy answers. He yawns ad looks at the time "I think this little candle light jam session was the prefect way to end this day. It's late. Let's go to bed".

Both boys get ready for bed and when they lay down Blaine turns off the light and on the little lamp on his sidetable. He doesn't mind sleeping like this when Kurt stays over and it helps Kurt sleeps so it's fine by him.

They kiss good night and wish each other sweet dreams before cuddling closer together and falling asleep quickly.
