Sometimes Blaine regretshis decision. NYADA didn't take him so Blaine decided to go and explore the world. Or at least another country. Somewhere he doesn't need to learn another language for. So he decided to go to London, search for a little apartment and working in a coffee shop down the street.
Away from his parents. Away from the house. Away from Kurt. Being long distant from Lima to New York sometimes was hard already but now he's in London. Blaine likes it in London and he likes to stay until he can audition for NYADA again . But he misses Kurt.
Sometimes he misses him so much that it hurts. Physically and mentally. Just like now. Maybe he's homesick. Yes. Homesick for Kurt. Beause Kurt is his home.
Three years ago the boy with the chestnut hair and the ocean blue eyes rocked his world, turned it upside down and went through everything with him. Now they are both young man and graduated high school. They still go strong even tho they're long distance.
It's early noon for Kurt and Blaine knows today he only has two classes in the afternoon. For Blaine it's late afternoon and it's raining outside so he stays inside. Thinking. Overthinking. Missing Kurt. He has to call him. Talk to him.
"Hey honey" Kurt takes his boyfriends phone call. "Hey Blaine" he hears Rachel and then Santana "Hey hobbit" in the background. "Hey" Blaine answers. He should probably talk to the girls a little but he isn't really in the mood to talk.
Luckily his boyfriend knows him too well. He stands up and leaves the girls, sitting down at his desk. "You wanna tell me what's going on in your mind?" he asks immediatly. No one knows Blaine as good as Kurt. The look on his face, the sound of his voice, everything.
"I miss you" Blaine sighs "Terribly much". "I miss you too baby" Kurt answers "What did you do today?". "Nothing. It's raining and I stayed inside" Kurt hears how distracted Blaine sounds. He's been overthinking. Kurt knows it. Kurt knows him.
"I have an idea. I want to distract you" the oder says "You have UNO right?". "Yeah why?" Blaine asks but his boyfriend just shrugs "You'll see". While Blaine puts his phone down to get his UNO Kurt puts his own phone down to do the same.
"So what now?" Blaine asks and the other boy just answers "Now we play UNO. Mix. Seven cards on the hand". And so they play, saying UNO, when they have to draw and if they can play or not.
While playing they talk about everything and nothing and Kurt really manages to distract his boyfrined a bit. But Blaine still misses Kurt and both know it. Kurt misses Blaine too. He just is able to hide it better.
"What are you doing next weekend?" Kurt asks. They stopped playing because Kurt needs to pack his bag for NYADA. "Nothing. Why?" the younger answers. "How about I fly over? Spotlight diner payed me my overtime yesterday and I only have one class on Friday. School on Monday got canceled because the teachers has something. I don't know what but there's no class on Monday.
I could get a plane after my class on Friday and be there in the evening and fly back on Monday when you have to start your shift and we can spend a nice weekend together" Kurt proposes. Kurt is glad for once that his classes at NYADA are uncoordinated once in a while. It's annoying often but when Kurt got told yesterday about the Monday off he immediatly thought of visiting Blaine.
It's perfect. Blaine starts grinning "That would be awesome". "Okay. I book the flights when I come home from school" he'd do anything for the love of his life.
With a look at the time Kurt and Blaine say goodbye so Rachel and Kurt arat NYADA in time for their class to start.
