Prologue - Resourcing Time
Alternative...
In an alternative timeline, by the year 1930, humanity had advanced and taken significant steps toward becoming a more enlightened and resourceful colony. It was during this time that a group of bold explorers stumbled upon a founding that turned the course of history into many potential possibilities. Hidden beneath the pristine white glaciers of Antarctica, they uncovered ruins of uncertain origin, with each artifact found are more incredible and advanced than the last.
They do not know for sure who or what had led to the creation of the ruins, but they could assure it had existed long before the dawn of man and are alien in nature, which is beyond the current knowledge of man in the early dates of the 19th century. But within these precious fragments of a lost civilization, they discovered the foundation of technologies that would lead to the foreseeing advancement of their future selves. And so, at that moment, a new era of innovation and progress had begun.
These new technologies, which came to be known as Extra Materials of Unknown Origin and abbreviated as EMU-O, were transformed in the likeness of humanity and placed at its disposal. As the years went by, they brought about a wide array of changes, from the creation of vaccines for so popme of the most insurmountable diseases, to the construction of innovative properties, and the fostering of connections between cultures through communication and propositions.
The introduction of EMU-O had a drastic impact on the course of human history, with ramifications ranging from the alteration of historical events to the total reshaping of the Earth to match this new reality. The consequences of their presence were manifold, with minds becoming more adept at adapting to the shift and eagerly embracing the opportunities it presented. It is a new golden age of evolution.
However…
The growth of technology also led to the creation of advanced weaponry to be utilized in military settings, with the approval of their use to be carried out during times of conflict. These weapons were designed to provide an edge in combat situations, making it possible for nations to wage war with greater efficiency and accuracy.
War.
A brutal and often catastrophic solution that has been deployed throughout history to resolve disagreements between nations, powers, and groups. Whether the source of the dispute is a conflict in social information, opposing religious beliefs, a lack of trust between nations, or even a divergence in the color of one's skin, the ultimate result was often bloodshed and devastation.
Despite the progress humanity has made in advancing its knowledge, technologies, and capabilities, the presence of war has been a constant throughout history, often serving as a reminder of humanity's inherently aggressive nature. It is unclear whether war is a
fundamental aspect of humanity's evolution or merely a symptom of its ongoing struggle to navigate social and cultural differences.
In spite of any conceivable motives that may exist, the eruption of war seemed to be an unavoidable occurrence that would inevitably follow humanity. The first instance of this occurrence was in the summer of September in the year 1939, a historical event that is now remembered as World War II, the second Great War after the first. The consequences of this devastating war were felt throughout the world, as nations faced destruction and devastation on a scale never before seen.
While the original timeline may not have been bloodless, the introduction of advanced technologies would undoubtedly alter the course of the conflict and potentially increase the magnitude of the carnage and destruction. The use of new weaponry, ranging from advanced weapons of destruction to innovative communication technology, would only serve to intensify the conflict, making it all the more devastating to those caught in its grips.
Soldiers.
The image of soldiers marching through the streets, decked out in the most advanced armaments and cheered on by the residents, who sang aloud alongside the deafening rumbles of their boots as the sound of the marching band instrument mixed with the roar of war machines, both on land and sea, is a timeless symbol of war. With the introduction of new technologies, the battlefields became even more dangerous and unpredictable, with new weapons and machines capable of delivering destruction on a level never before seen in history.
Despite the potential for tragedy and devastation, the spirit of comradeship and camaraderie that the men and women in uniform possessed remained constant, fueling their determination to face the challenges of war head-on, with bravery and honor. For the Fatherland, for the Motherland, for the Nations.
The Battlefield.
The term "battlefield" refers to a vast and sprawling area of land that has become a mass graveyard, where the bodies of brave men and women, heroes, and machines lie forgotten and ignored by the passing of time. Here, men and machines serve as mere pawns in the hands of nations, carrying out their orders and willing to take the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the greater good. This is the place where ideas are demonstrated and where matters, no matter how unsettled, are settled by force of arms.
Only the strong, both in mind and body, can survive a battlefield, and it is here that the primal idea of warrior takes form. It is a place where only the strongest can emerge victorious, and those who are weak are simply destined to become another empty medal that'll return home in place of the wearer. A battlefield is a place of death, destruction, and tragedy, and no matter how advanced technology becomes, the cost of war will always be paid in blood.
Kill or be killed…
It is impossible not to be overwhelmed by the sheer brutality and madness of the battlefield aspiiih OP soldiers, their fingers tightly grasping the trigger of their weapons, are ready to take the life of another the moment it comes into their view. Without a word exchanged, it becomes a matter of "shoot or be shot", of "kill or be killed". And as the eyes of these brave men and women reflect the horrors of war, one can't help but wonder what drove them to this point, to risk everything for the sake of their nation and its ideas, for the Fatherland and the Motherland.
Their uniforms, once clean and proper, are now grimy with mud and the blood of others, both enemies and comrades alike, testimony to the sheer magnitude of what they have endured. In the midst of all the chaos and destruction, one can almost feel the weight of their sacrifice, the gravity of their determination, and the magnitude of what they are willing to give up for their t.
Machines…
The evolution of technology has brought with it both blessings and curses, but nowhere is this more evident than on the battlefield. Machines, once invented as means of making life easier, have become instruments of war, designed to inflict death and destruction on enemies of the nation. The pilots and their aircraft, the crew and their tanks, the captains and their ships- these men and machines are the same, serving their purpose to the nations and battling in the name of glory, even as they bear the scars of human conflict. The deafening roars of their engines and the fire that bathes them in light signal the unity of mankind and machines, a union that is born from and exists for war, and one that is defined by the bravery of those who pilot them.
And, when that time comes, just as a captain must go down with his ship, the operators of these machines are equally bound to their fate. When the inevitable collapse comes, they will stand proudly by their craft and meet their end with courage and dignity, as one with their machine and their country, their sacrifice a symbol of the determination and bravery that defines humanity. Men and Machines as one…
But the fight is far from over. Despite the hardships and the sacrifices that have already been made, more brave individuals will continue to stand up for what they believe in. And they will not rest until the day that the flag of victory finally flies above their heads, a symbol of the blood, sweat, and tears that they have poured into the cause. They will not back down, and they will not surrender until the job is done and the victory has been achieved.
But in the end, it was never decided…
15th August 1950, the war ended…
Finally, the war had come to a close. Ten years had passed since the beginning of the conflict, four years longer than what was recorded in historical records. As the sound of victory echoed through the streets, the brave men and women who had bravely fought for their countries returned home with their flags raised high, heralded as heroes. It was a watershed moment in history as the leaders of each warring nation agreed to come together and sign a fragile peace treaty, ending the bloodshed. Although the document was delicate
and easily susceptible to the flame of conflict, it was a symbol of the promise to never again return to the horrors that had been experienced over the course of the long ten-year war.
But still, the senseless violence and bloodshed of war leave the minds questioning the true meaning of honor, pride, and glory. Does the pursuit of these noble ideals carry any significance when the medals that adorn the soldiers' uniforms serve as little more than a poignant reminder of the horrors they have endured? The trauma of combat can never be fully expunged from the minds of these men, and the nightmares that haunt them serve as a grim testament to the true cost of war, both physically and psychologically.
But even so, regardless of the ultimate cost, the men and women who march off to defend their country and the ideals they hold dear will continue to uphold these noble virtues, serving as a testament to humanity's inherent resilience and determination.
However, after years of conflict, once again, it was through the use of technology and the resulting advances that had ultimately rewritten the course of history. Despite the conclusion of the Second Great War, many lingering issues still remained, and the outcome of the war was anything but settled. Behind closed doors, the end was not a victory for either side, but rather a mere ceasefire order, a temporary halt to the violence and destruction. As such, it was clear that the path to true peace and reconciliation was yet to be discovered and clouded by the constant race of arms. The future was anything but certain.
Fortunately, for nearly two decades since the end of the last war. No more conflict had taken place in the following year and it was evident that the world had slowly begun to put its past conflicts behind it, choosing instead to focus on the future. And with the infamous historical events that took place on the 20th of July 1969 and marked the first steps of mankind onto the lunar surface, the world was in the midst of an evolution that promised a new chapter for all of humanity. It was a remarkable time, one of continuous progress and growth, where the potential for success seemed limitless and the sky was no longer the limit. Together, the inhabitants of Earth had proven that they were capable of anything, and they were determined to continue to reach for the stars in pursuit of a better tomorrow.
And from here, on the surface of the moon, the astronauts can't help but be awake to such a remarkable achievement, humanity couldn't help but pause and reflect on how far they've come. Despite the countless challenges that had to be overcome, the sight of the blue and round Earth that they call home served as a stark reminder of the countless feats that had been achieved, both with or without the help of out-of-time technologies that were presented on earth.
The journey had not been an easy one, and history, even as depicted in the Bible, showed that humanity was far from innocent. Yet, despite the flaws and shortcomings that had marked their path, the possibilities still seemed limitless. Planet Earth was truly a beautiful place filled with endless potential, and even in the midst of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, it was clear that humanity still held the potential to do great things.
…
But we are not alone in the path of evolution... for we are always being watched with the eyes of the primal predators…
