Prologue

May 5th 1961

Castle Pretorius— S.S Special Projects division Compound —Greater German Reich—the Bavarian Alps.

Elsa Pretorius Frankenstein walked briskly through her Private laboratory, She'd been waiting for an opportunity to prove herself for decades and now it was her time to shine within the military with her vision for the future. She was still a teenager in a way but her background had made her far more interesting and important to the Furher and the Scientific Department of the Third Reich.

She was the living embodiment of the old Novel of Frankenstein and even the American films made a few years before the war broke out held some truth expert while the end of the Bride of Frankenstein was partly true there was some misconception about what happened after the Bride was awoken, as it turns out that Dr. Pretorius wanted to give the monster not only a mate but also a child. When the castle was destroyed the German government managed to dig through the rubble and find Elsa's body entirely intact unfortunately her father and mother were disintegrated into atoms along with Pretorius, The original Dr. Frankenstein was also found clinging to life and in his delusional state agreed to have his brain put into Elsa's body.

Giving her the chance to continue her family legacy and work hand in hand with the Third Reich. As the war began Elsa was taken in by Dr. Strasse. But in a cruel twist of fate Elsa had discovered that he stole her work for the original Super-Soldier program in the final years of the war, but thanks to her Grandfather's brain she was anything but a fool and self taught herself how best to play the game of political influence, intimidation and manipulation in private.

As the nineteen fifties came and went Elsa had been given her own castle built on the grounds of where her family died. She herself had gained a reputation for not being shy about using her Superior Strength, Overall Hight and High intelligence to put her subordinates in line and of course she was never afraid of getting her own hands stained with blood.

Her overall appearance was quite intimidating, she was seven feet and six inches tall with her hair matching her late mother and she was quite skinny yet her body itself was still a amalgamation of dead body parts the stitches were no longer visible and her skin was extremely pale. Her usual outfit was one of two items.

Normally since she spent the majority of her time alone working she would be wearing a lab coat, smock, googles on her head and black rubber gloves. The only attention to her lab coat was the party armband. The other uniform was a gray field marshal military uniform with black boots and gloves as well as Dark sunglasses to hide her eyes.

Over the course of her career she had become frustrated with the fact that someone else had taken credit for her work and began to become jaded about the Reich as a whole, after all wasn't she far more powerful than a normal human and she possessed a greater intellect than the majority of the government officials who lead the Reich. Elsa had been particularly fond with the idea of leading the world with her own ideas and visions particularly the idea of controlling the human race as a whole.

Elsa had always felt that even with the Reich government begrudgingly accepted her existence as a scientist they saw her as a freak of nature or an abomination of one of the darkest minds of humanity. She felt a calling to make humanity into something greater for everyone and planned accordingly in secret. She was no dedicated Fascist but saw the appeal and possible need for a totalitarian government over humanity and since she didn't really consider herself a human being, she was motivated to wanting to change the world and let no one stand in her way.

About three months after the news of the destruction of Dr. Strasse's facility from the Kreisau resistance, Elsa had received a memo from the Fuher himself declaring that she would be taking on Dr. Strasse's position at once, the memo went on saying that she would be in charge of the new facility on the American eastern coast in the New York ruins of the atomic bomb but she must meet with SS-Obergruppenführer Frau Engel for a sort of formal meeting of who will take the military and political leadership in America. Elsa was extremely excited about the premonition but having to deal with that woman was a bitter pill to swallow at the very least it was brief and she would not have to deal with her often.

Elsa put the thoughts of meeting with the Egotistical, Pedantic and down right Glory hounding General. As she focused on packing her essentials for the lab experiments then seeing if she missed anything important that she would have to wait until a request could be filed to get it shipped over to her new facility. Her staff did what they were expected to do and assisted her with lodging the trucks as she went to diligently instruct the temporary keeper of the castle not to change or disturb anything within the premises of the property or she would have them removed and placed directly under her authority.

Currently she was wearing her custom tailored military uniform with her newly promoted rank positioned on the shoulder straps with her jack boots clicking through the echoes of the hallways of the castle as she wanted to make one last trip through the building then proceeded to get in the car and be taken to the airport. She was gathering a crowd of people who stared at her in awe as she made her way through the airport terminal. Elsa ignored them and proceeded to have her luggage checked then she got out her identification papers to give them to the security guards.

After about five minutes of waiting she bordered the plane and set off to Berlin to meet with General Engel.

Elsa began to let her mind wander as the plane began to take off, she sighed inwardly trying to convince the top brass of the Reich was going to be a very great challenge because of their over reliance on the reengineered Da'at Yichud technology that was the main reason why she was essentially given a second rate position in the SS Special Projects Division and the main focus was put on reverse engineering the artifacts then once space travel became possible in the mid-nineteen fifties everyone sort of lost interest in her work.

She let out a decisive breath and asked a flight attendant to bring her some of her documents along with their finest wine. If she was going to make an impression of why she should lead the American territory then the best way to get the argument to work in her favor was to show them.

Elsa took out her headphones connected to her tape recorder and began to listen to Air on the G String by Johann Sebastian Bach. It was going to be a long night for her.

AN: I just wanted to get this out of the way due to it being the spooky season of the year and most likely I will not continue this until my first crossover story is finished.

But what do you guys think about this. I was planning on going a bit further and explaining what her motivations are but I wanted to make clear that she is not a true believer in Fascism but is taken with the idea of a totalitarian government and the notion for the people to be under control by the bureaucratic nature of the tyrannical system.

The main plot is the political and military power struggles within the Nazi regime and I'll leave it here until my first story is completed. I will also probably change the title and synopsis at a later date. Until the next update Stay Safe everyone.
