Yo!
I don't know why I came up with this. I just thought " Hey, I never had a real relationship before, but I think I would like it if I came home and someone cooked for me!" I asked around and a lot of people said that would be romantic.
So here's a one shot, I hope you guys like it.

Sakura had a really hard mission.
There was an outbreak of an unknown disease in a village she's never heard of, but they had asked for her to head the research for it. She saw many kids die and she wasn't able to help a lot of them until they broke the code and made a vaccine that helped cure the region of what was plaguing them. Unfortunately for her, she felt a little lonely while in this village. She was so happy to go home.

After she checked in at the village, she had to go to the Hokage to update him on the status. Sakura stood in front of Kakashi, giving her report. At first she thought he was acting weird– He was talking slowly as if to keep her there longer. And when she asked what was going on, Kakashi waved it off and said it was nothing. A little worried, she let it slide. The pinkette was a little too tired to deal with Kakashi's Shenanigans at the moment.

Sakura was contemplating on whether or not she would go and get something to eat since it took her all day to get home. As the sun set, she decided to eat some of the anmitsu she had at home waiting for her. She got to the door of her apartment when she noticed someone was inside. She heard footsteps and it worried her. Grabbing her kunai, she quickly walked into the apartment to see Kakashi there in nothing but an apron covering his privates and his mask over his mouth.

She put her kunai back and sighed.
"Makes sense. You had a shadow clone at the office, didn't you?"

Kakashi smiled and waved before nodding.
"Maa, Sakura-chan. I don't see you attacking your dear old sensei. I've been here cooking but yes, I have a shadow clone at the office right now. I just wanted to cook for you before you came home, but it's obvious you're here a little early. That's okay. I just hope it was a surprise."

Sakura took a deep breath, a little taken aback by this, but she did feel a slight fondness for her former sensei until he turned her back towards him, facing the stove. She saw his fit, bare ass and covered her mouth to try and hold back laughter.

"I can hear you. What's so funny?" Kakashi asked as he began to put rice in bowls.

"I can see your ass," She laughed, letting it go now.

Kakashi sighed.
"Yes, I decided to do this for you as a surprise. I know you would have a difficult time being away for as long as you have been with the possibility of people dying on you. So I wanted to simply be nice." He explained.

"So.. you decided to cook for me… naked? Do I have to heal any burn spots on sensitive areas?" Sakura laughed even more.

"That's what the apron is for," Kakashi said, turning around to smile at her before the ding to the broiler went off. He then bent over to get the fish, giving Sakura a show. She stared at his plump ass as he pulled the fish out to put it on a plate for the both of them. He straightened himself up slowly as though he knew his girlfriend was staring at him.

She took a deep breath and looked away before she got too riled up. Usually Kakashi's antics would get to her but the sweetness of him making dinner for her was too great to pass up. She walked over to him, making sure to wrap her arms around his waist, her head resting against his back.

"Thank you," She said quietly, closing her eyes in comfort. Kakashi didn't mind this. He stayed in place until he had to move.

"Look, if you want me to put pants on, I can–"

"No. You look good like this.I'd rather see this." Sakura hummed before pulling away. She grabbed the teapot that was whistling, grabbing cups and brought it to the tiny table. Kakashi followed her with the fish and rice in his hands. He placed it on the table then sat down. Sakura sat across from her boyfriend and sighed.

"Despite you being naked in my apartment, this is really nice." She said.

They both thanked their food before digging in. She took a bite of the fish and practically moaned. The sound surprised Kakashi. He looked at her with a raised brow.

"Sorry. You're really good at this," the medic told him. Kakashi simply smiled.

"Well I've cooked a bunch of fish in my day. It'd be a shame if I didn't get it right at this stage in life, don't you think?"

Sakura nodded, then continued to eat in silence as Kakashi pulled down his mask. Normally he would have eaten quickly, but he felt comfortable with Sakura, letting her see his face. She was used to this, had to have been by now. She would catch glimpses of his face from the corner of her eye instead of outwardly gawking at him. He knew, but let her do it.

Once they were finished eating, Sakura leaned back in her chair, happy to have eaten something so great yet so simple. She looked over to Kakashi who was just smiling at her, his mask still down.

"What?" She asked, wanting to know what was on Kakashi's mind.

"I have one more thing for you," He said, getting up to go to the fridge. Sakura looked his way and noticed that her fridge was full of food. She was surprised because she was sure her fridge was empty before she left. Sakura remembered cooking it all for her and the rest of her team.

"...did you go food shopping for me?" She asked cautiously. Kakashi nodded his head, bringing out a new package of anmitsu for her, something he had bought for her specially. He walked over and placed it in front of her with a spoon. She smiles brightly at him, picking up to open and eat it. She began to dance in her seat, a little too happy while Kakashi went around and started to clean up, still in his apron though his mask stayed down. Sakura then looked up seeing what he was doing.

"Hey… leave that for tomorrow," She told him. The kage knew she would argue it so he simply put the dishes in the sink before going towards the bathroom. She was wondering what he was doing until she heard the bath run. Sakura was happy. It was as if Kakashi had planned this all out. Sakura was ecstatic over this, finishing her anmitsu before placing her spoon in the sink and the container in the trash. She walked over to the bathroom to see Kakashi was in the bath already, his apron and mask finally off. Thinking that's what he was asking for, Sakura stepped in the bathroom, making sure to take her clothes off. After unwrapping her chest, she then dipped her toes in the tub, making sure to sit in between his legs. She leaned her back against his chest and he just placed his chin on her shoulder.

"You don't have to talk about your mission. I'm only here for comfort." He went on to say.
Sakura nodded her head, practically melting into the tub.

"I know what you're trying to do," She hummed, her eyes closed. Kakashi asked with a simple 'hm' and she continued.

"I know you're wanting sex out of this, but I'm really tired. The mission took a lot out of me and I just want to sleep."

Kakashi answered with another "hm".
"You should know by now, it's not all about sex. Yes, it would be nice, but that's not what I was looking for. Honestly, I was wanting to do this for you because I knew how much of a toll the mission would put on you. Now if you wanted to fuck, I would be okay with that, but I'm okay with just cuddling until we fall asleep."

Sakura took the answer for what it was, something comforting. After washing up, she got out of the bath, making sure to wrap herself with a towel. She had forgotten her clothes but at the time she didn't care. The pinkette left the bathroom, drying herself off before putting her towel in the hamper. Kakashi got up and followed, drying himself off before going into the only bedroom. Sakura was already laying down in the bed, her hair sprawled on the pillow under her head. She took a deep breath as Kakashi slid into the bed with her, wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her closer. They both laid in silence until Sakura spoke up.

"Thank you," She muttered slowly, making Kakashi smile. Her breathing began to even out, signaling that she had fallen asleep. Kakashi leaned over, kissing the top of her head.

"You're welcome," She whispered quietly, closing his eyes as well.
