Tai Lung was sitting inside his cell, a little disconcerted that the five did not believe what he told them, he felt a little disappointed, but deep down he understood them, how would they trust an enemy who had sought to kill them a long time ago?

With nothing else to do, he slowly placed his cloth over his eye, which was beginning to hurt, tied it tightly so it wouldn't come loose, and laid down to try to rest for a while, since he was exhausted from the day he had had.

"Can you blame them for not believing you?" said a voice in the distance that disconcerted Tai Lung, but when he looked up he recognized it easily.

"Master…" Tai Lung said as he sat back down so he could talk to Shifu better.

"No, Tai Lung… I am no longer your master, you should know that by now." Shifu said watching his old student from the rojee dude of the sell, with a look of confusion. "What are you doing here? By all means you should be dead!"

"I thought the same, but Oogway brought me back to life... it cost me an eye," said Tai Lung, pointing to the cloth in his eye and staring at his old master. "I'm alive because Oogway knows something none of us know!"

Shifu analized the cloth in Tai Lung's eye, it had something in it that he recognized, but he couldn't quite figure it out. After a quick look he just ignored it and kept asking questions.

"But why!? Of all the people who could have come back to life, was it you…? What are you looking for, Tai Lung, revenge?!" Shifu said worried that Po wasn't there to stop him if something happened.

Tai Lung smirked and laughed once in a cold way. "I have no interest in being the Dragon Warrior, Shifu, that is already part of my past, I have already seen the truth and I am only here to repair the damage I've caused, and to discover why Oogway somehow brought me back… to discover why he gave me a second chance."

Shifu just looked at his old student with confusion, he didn't know what he could tel him about this story, and he didn't know if he could beleive him.

Tai Lung looked at Shifu's face and got up from his bed aggressively, after that he walked to the edge of the cell and stared at Shifu. "I don't care if you believe me or not! I know what I experienced, and I know that I was given a second chance to do things right, So I won't let you decide how I'm going to live this opportunity!"

Shifu remained silent at what his old student told him, he was so confused about everything. "I want to believe you Tai Lung! But you know it's a hard thing to do after what happened."

After hearing this Tai Lung clenched his fists tightly, looked coldly at his old master and returned to the bed of his cell, laying down. "I already lost my last life in prison… I don't plan to waste a second chance rotting inside another one."

Shifu, not knowing what to say to his old student, decided to leave this cell and leave Tai Lung alone. His head was full of doubts that he could not answer, but he could not leave Tai Lung free, not before knowing everything he had said was true.

Four hours later in the dining room of the Jade Palace

"And he seriously wants us to believe him?! Please, how is he going to see Oogway, he went crazy! What would that murderer even do in the spirit realm?!" Viper said to his friends as they discussed what had happened a few hours ago.

"I don't know, but lets be honest, he had a serious face, it seemed like he was telling the truth..." Monkey said while remembering the look on his enemy's face as he told them about his journey.

"Don't be naive Monkey, he's good at persuading, that's how he's been all his life, there's no way he's telling the truth!" Viper answered, surprised at her friend's comment.

"But… what if Monkey is right? Being honest… I also feel that he was telling the truth, otherwise I think he would have attacked us or something like that, don't you think? I mean… the cell is not really that strong, at least for someome like him." Crane said, looking at his teammates with intrigue.

"Crane… he was weak, he had no chance against us! He is a murderer and he will stay that way!" Viper said, confused as to why her friends trusted a story about their enemy.

"I'm just putting that option on the table, it's not that I'm defending him, but the truth is that it seems strange to me that we are not giving him the benefit of the doubt, don't you think? why would he have come back to life if that wasn't the truth?" Monkey said trying to calm Viper down.

"Aaaah! Tigress, help me make them understand!" Viper said turning to look at her friend.

Tigress was so busy with her thoughts that she didn't even hear Viper speak to her. She was just staring at a wall, still in shock from what she had just witnessed.

"Tigress?!" Viper asked trying to get her friend to react.

"I don't know, being honest I don't want to believe him, but doesn't it seem strange that he came back from the dead... like Po, when he defeated Kai?" Tigress said without taking her sight off the wall.

Viper hung her head in disappointment. "You too?! You just yelled at Tai Lung that he's a liar and now you're second-guessing him?!"

"Well, think about it, the only person who has returned from the spirit realm was Po… and it was after seeing Oogway in some way. As much as I don't want to believe it... it seems to be true." Said Tigress hiding the anger and fury she felt.

"And it is…" Shifu said as he entered the dining room with his students.

"Master…" everyone said in unison but Viper spoke quickly.

"I can't believe that you also believe him, Master... isn't what he is saying too suspicious?"

"I didn't really believe him, and to be honest it would be very weird to believe a ghost…" said Shifu before continuing "but didn't you notice something suspicious in the cloth of his eye…?"

"What would be strange about it? Crane asked curiously.

"It is the old banner of the Jade Palace. Oogway used it in his youth, and there was only one, that according to everyone, went missing a long time ago, or at least until now, which is apparently covering the eye of Tai Lung. The only person who could have kept that cloth would be Oogway himself." Shifu said trying to connect the dots.

"So you're saying that Tai Lung is indeed telling the truth?!" Viper said not wanting to believe it.

"It appears to be." Shifu said not being able to believe it himself.

"And what are we going to do then? We can't just take him out of his cell just like that... we still don't know if he's being completely honest, or if he's just trying to recover and then attack us." Tigress said, not trusting in Tai Lung being free.

"I know…" Shifu said thinking about something, "but we also can't refuse to give him the opportunity to see if he is actually speaking the truth."

"And how about we give him a test…" Crane said, getting up from his chair. "What do you think if we send him to look for Po…"

"Have you lost your mind?! If he sees Po, the first thing he's going to want to do is rip off his head... and besides, Zeng is already on his way, isn't that right, master?" Tigress said turning to look at her master.

Shifu turned to look at Tigress with a look of disappointment and gave out a sigh before speaking. "Zeng hasn't left, I know I told you I would send him yesterday but I had to send him as a priority to give some messages to Li Shan's village to prepare a maximum security prison for a big enemy, you know who I mean… I didn't know yesterday what he was planing or what his intentions where at the moment, so I thought fast."

The five looked at Shifu with disappointment, but at the same time they understood that the moment Tai Lung arrived it was important to consider him as a threat and if something happened, put him in a better prison, because the cell wouldn't last for long.

"So… if Zeng isn't on the way, my plan might still work." Crane said trying to convince the others about his plan.

"It could work… if Tai Lung no longer wishes to become the Dragon Warrior, the best way to prove he is telling us the truth is to have him face to face with the Dragon Warrior, and only then will we know if he has good intentions…" Shifu said thinking about this plan .

"You can't be serious, Master! "He's going to kill Po if he finds him, and if we let him go he'll only be able to attack villages!" Tigress said as she looked at her master in disbelief.

"No one said that he would go alone, or even with complete freedom," said Shifu, turning to look at his students.

"What do you mean?" Viper asked.

"One of you will go with him, and in addition to that he will be wearing the eight-point acupressure cuffs, so he won't be able to attack anyone, and if he does, he can easily be stopped by whomever of you is accompanying him." Shifu said as he raised his head happily about the plan.

"It doesn't sound bad… or at least it's not so bad." Viper said, thinking about the plan given by his Master. "It's worth taking the risk… not like we aren't taking the risk already, it's more dangerous to have him locked up here than someone actually watching him, and besides, it's going to be a plan that will help us look for Po!"

"So… who will go with him?" Shifu said looking at his students.

The five began to turn their heads and whistle, ignoring the question their Master had asked them.

Shifu gave a sigh and after a while he chose. "Tigress! You are going to accompany Tai Lung."

"What?! Me?!" Tigress said surprised at the choice.

"Yes, you will accompany him in search of Po."

"But, Shifu…"

"No but's, I chose you, and you should go."

"As you wish… Master," Tigress said with a bow, feeling every inch of her body tense up.

The rest of the five were surprised and somewhat happy that they weren't the ones chosen for the job, but they knew that Tigress was jealous and felt resentment for Tai Lung from before, which could be one more reason why Shifu indirectly chose her, to help her overcome this feeling.

"Well, I'll let you rest, tomorrow you leave at first light, so prepare everything you need to take for the road and give Tai Lung something to eat before you leave." Shifu said leaving the dining room.

Tigress remained silent, still trying to gather the information that had just been given to her. She stared blankly at the walls, but shortly after she decided to speak with a bit of anger in her voice, but trying to contain it. "Mantis, give me some food to give to the murderer right now, and also prepare me what we need for the road."

"With pleasure…" Mantis said, looking at his companion with doubt and confused. "Are you sure you are alr…"

"Just do it!" Tigress shouted, knowing what Mantis was going to ask her, not wanting to talk more about the situation.

Mantis flinched and turned quickly to the kitchen. The rest of the five just looked at Tigress in disbelief, at this moment they could see that Tigress, as they expected, was not pleased with this situation, but there was nothing else they could do.

Mantis quickly prepared a dish and gave it to Tigress so she could take it to Tai Lung.

Without saying anything, Tigress grabbed the dish and headed to her enemy's cell. Leaving the rest of the five confused about her reaction.
