Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This Chapter is staring my OC Sin Venger. She was a former blader who fell out of the game somewhere around the God Chip Era. Now during the Turbo Era she had made a comeback after finding Legend Spriggan. With a little ingenuity and her brother's parts, she first upgraded Spriggan into Rotation Spriggan and then later evolved it into a turbo bey Halberd Spriggan. I hope you all enjoy the story.

Side Note: I'm sure you all realized I have a tendency to switch between Sub and Dub names. It's because I watch both, and the real life sometimes I get beys that are called Valtryek and other times they are called Valkyrie. It gets confusing after a while and I apologize if calling the era turbo, while calling Spryzen a Spriggan, instead of Cho Z doesn't cause too much confusion. At least I hope it doesn't confuse any of you more than it confuses myself. Again, I hope you all enjoy.

It was Quon who stood before Sin next. She had defeated two of Komoto and Crystal's chosen bladers already. Orochi who wielded the attack type beyblade Odin and Zac who wielded the stamina type beyblade Zeus. It only made sense that Quon wielded a defense type beyblade and surely enough he did.

"This is my turbo bey Quintet Quetzalcoatl," Quon stated. The green blade he showed off seemed round at first glance, but that wasn't entirely true. There was a point within the circle that may represent the fangs of the serpent this blade was named after. Not to mention there were wings hidden within the blade itself.

"A burst prevention system," Sin assumed.

"Correct," Quon stated. "Though most bladers who had chosen this round would have three wings coming out of all sides of their blades, my serpent only has two wings. When released it locks the forge disk and energy layers together preventing the blade from bursting."

"I've faced this system before," Sin stated. "The dagger of my Halberd has a tendency to his my opponents beys in their most vulnerable spots and that causes them to burst even with their turbo wings."

"Don't be so sure," Quon stated. "Each blade is designed different. Even if they share the same feature, they aren't the same."

"Well then," Sin grinned. "Lets see if your burst prevention system is different from the others!" Her red aura flared up again as she gave a confident smirk at her opponent.

"She's going on offense," Quon figured. "She thinks clipping the wings of my snake will finish this fight, but she couldn't be anymore wrong!"

3 Sin jumps high into the air

2 Quon mimics her motion

1 They both launch with a kick

Both beys hit the stadium at the same time. Though Quintet Quetzalcoatl did a flip when it did so releasing it's turbo wings.

The two blades spun around the stadium for a moment as Quon took the center first.

"Your mine!", Sin yelled as her blade moved in to take out Quetzalcoatl. Spriggan immediately pushed one of the turbo wings back into the blade. "They're lighter then the other ones I've faced."

"I told you not to be so sure," Quon grinned as the fangs of the snake approached Spriggan.

Sin was surprised to see her blade burst then and there right in front of her. "W-what? What just happened?"

Quon grinned as a green aura flared up over himself. His blade was still spinning in the center stage.

"Q- Quon wins," Komoto called out. "With a burst finish he wins the match two to one."

"I... I didn't even get to see what was happening," Sin yelled in frustration.

"Quon's specialty," Zac spoke up.

Everyone turned to Zac to listen.

"Well Quon's beyblade is not a perfect circle first of all," Zac continued. "It has the wings of the snake to make it look like it is, but then there's the fangs of the snake buried deep within his blade."

"He has a hidden blade like mine?", Sin wondered.

Zac shook his head. "No the teardrop point isn't within the blade, it's just the tip of the blade, much like Xcalibur. Except Quon's blade is focused on defending and countering. Though the last iteration of his blade didn't have the turbo wings."

"Well this is bull," Sin growled. "I'd like a rematch!"

"Maybe another time," Quon shook his head. "As you are right now, you can't hope to beat me. Let alone Norman or Hyde."

"Come on," Komoto spoke up. "The whole reason I called you here was to help train Sin."

"No you promised me the inheritor of Spriggan," Quon stated. "She didn't live up to her name."

Sin growled under her breath as everything she had been working towards came crashing down. She beat Wasuke but was no closer to being strong enough to take down Norman, Hyde, and now Quon. Her connection to Spriggan was vanishing to top it off. He was no longer controlling the wheel, instead the blade felt lifeless in her hands.

"H-hey Sin," Crystal spoke up as she reached out towards Sin.

Sin ran off imediately. She didn't want to be touched or talked to. She didn't want pity. When did she start thinking like this? She was always focused on pushing herself to the next level when it came to running, why couldn't that be the case for blading as well. "I'm sorry Spriggan," Sin cried to herself as she continued to run clearing her head.

Flashback

Four year old Sin and five year old Domori were headed down the stairs hoping to surprise their parents before they left for work. Unfortunately their mother had already gone back to the restaurant and their father was buried in his office working on updates to a new car model. The two of them were always busy and never had time for their kids. Domori and Sin were practically raised by their aunt, but even she had work of her own repairing and building watches.

"It's not fair," four year old Sin cried. "Why are they always gone?"

"Looks like they left something for us," Domori pointed out. There were two blades on the counter, Arrow Stag and Quality Drake.

"An attack type?", Sin read the stats aloud.

"Mine's a defense type," Domori shrugged. He turned to Sin and grinned. "Let's test them out."

Over and over again the two of them fought, but every time it was Domori who came out the winner.

"You almost had me that time," Domori grinned.

"This is stupid," Sin groaned.

"Don't say that," Domori smiled. "I think we can go find more parts at the store. Come on, it'll be fun."

"No," Sin yelled. "I don't want to play this stupid game anymore!"

End of Flashback

Sin stopped over top of a bridge as the sun begun to set. She couldn't believe that nothing has changed. Her brother was still out of reach and there was too many obstacles in her way. "This sucks," she cried. "I've really done it now!" She went on live stream multiple times challenging her brother and now she was certain she wouldn't be strong enough to blade against him.

"Shu," Spriggan spoke within her mind.

"Spriggan is that you?", Sin cried. "Your still talking to me." She was happy that Spriggan was still with her, someone hadn't abandoned her like everyone else in her life.

"You must be Sin," a boy spoke up.

Sin turned to see a boy with white hair, red eyes, and a scar across his eye. She recognized him. "Shu Kurenai," Sin spoke up surprised. She held onto her blade tight and then sighed. "You've come to battle me haven't you."

"That's right," Shu nodded as he made his way towards a table with a dent in the center. "Come off that bridge and face me here."

Sin wiped her tears away and did as she was told. Over and over again she consecutively lost to Shu. His Turbo Spriggan was on a whole another level. It was like the other blades she faced before, the burst prevention system and all, yet Sin was able to keep each battle fresh. He would change how Turbo Spriggan would move by switching from left to right handed launches and changed the direction it spun every round from left to right spinning. "Dammit," Sin yelled. "Why do you keep toying with me."

"That's not what I'm doing," Sin pointed out. "I wanted to see where you've gotten so far."

"I can't do it," Sin cried. "My connection with Spriggan isn't as strong as yours... which is why you've come to take it back. You want your precious Legend Spriggan back after leaving it in the dirt! My career as a blader is finished isn't it?"

Shu shook his head. "I have not come to take back Legend Spriggan," Shu explained as he brushed the hair away from the scar on his eye. "I've abandoned that blade because I didn't believe it had any more potential left. I wanted to become the strongest so I made a new Spriggan from scratch, I am unworthy of calling Legend Spriggan my own. But you... you evolved it into something I never expected. Halberd Spriggan is a good design, flawed, but good."

"So you just came here to taunt me?", Sin figured.

"No," Shu shook his head once more. "I've come to help you turn it into the best blade it can be. You found my long lost blade, it belongs to you."

Sin stared at him in shock after hearing that. Shu Kurenai didn't consider her a thief.

"You are the inheritor of my Legend Spriggan," Sin confirmed. "But I won't let you lose with it, nor will I let you abandon it as I once did."
