"Woah!" Jeri shouted from Leomon's arms, "How'd you do that!?"
"..More importantly," Leomon cut in, walking over to you while holding Jeri in one hand and his sword in the other, "Why does this digimon detest me so? It has hounded me since the moment we met eyes when we first appeared."
You shrugged.
"Don't you know anything?" Ruki huffed, casually walking over as Taomon dropped her barrier, she reached into her card box and lifted one out, and handed it up to Jeri, "Here read this."
"Ah, okay," Jeri blinked, taking the card, "Let's see, it says A one-eyed Dragon Man Digimon with an abnormally developed right arm. It was originally a stalwart dragon warrior, but its right eye was crushed by the warrior Leomon, and it became an oni of revenge- oh that's probably why, that was mean Leomon!" she turned from reading to scolding her digimon.
Leomon huffed, "That wasn't me!" he nearly whined, "That was the original Leomon!"
"Exactly," Ruki pointed out, "It's like how we evolved as human's through our surroundings. The same applies to digimon, and it's hard wired into a Cyclonemon's data to hate a Leomon on sight."
"Ah, that's kinda sad," Jeri frowned, before shaking her head and handing the card out to Ruki again, "Here's your card back."
"Keep it, I've got multiple," Ruki replied, pushing her hand back, "And you don't seem to have any cards on you, use it to let Leomon use Cyclonemon's Hyper Heat attack if needed with your digivice."
"Excuse me?" Leomon blinked.
"Digivices can do that?" Jeri gasped.
"Yeah," you chimed in, you felt Cyclonemon struggle with all its might against your wind manipulation powers, but it was far too weak to overpower you, "Just swipe it through the little opening in the side, and say the name of your digimon, Digi-Modify and the name of card, in this case, using Cyclonemon's card to let your digimon use its Hyper Heat or Strength Arm abilities." you explained.
Leomon shook his head in wonder, "Again I am now understanding why so many digimon sought out a tamer of their own," the lion man digimon gasped, "The sheer versatility I would have using the powers of other digimon is hard to imagine."
"You don't know the half of it big guy," Ruki snorted again, eyeing you knowingly, "Either way, what's your plan for this guy?" she asked a moment later, jabbing her thumb at the struggling Cyclonemon.
You shrugged, "I'll just destroy it and let Leomon load the data," you replied easily, you then turned to Leomon and smiled apologetically, "No offense, but you're the weakest digimon here right now, and having to protect you if any really strong digimon pop up could be a pain."
"..That cuts deep." Leomon lamented.
"There, there," Jeri patted him on the shoulder from where she sat in the crook of one of his massive arms, "Just think of it like you started a race a lot later than everyone else by giving them a head start, and now you're catching up."
Leomon sighed, but smiled, "..Thank you Jeri."
"Whatever," Ruki shrugged, "That thing's too weak to give my digimon much anyway. But I call the next one we see unless you need it for something, Saberdramon's my weakest digimon by far right now, he needs to catch up to the other two."
"Fair enough," you shrugged, then clenched your hand and a sphere of wind compressed around the Cyclonemon and crushed it out of existence, leaving nothing but data behind, you winced. "Eesh, that was a lot more brutal than I was going for, I was going for just crushing its head, I'll need to work on control later."
"Suck it up," Ruki walked over and flicked you on the nose, while Leomon began absorbing Cyclonemon's data, "The power gap was so big it died pretty much instantly, it probably didn't even have that much time to feel anything before turning into data."
..It was nice of her to reassure you, but still. You won't be using this skill until you've trained with it a bit. What if you tried to grab Ruki with the wind, and accidentally crushed her to death? Most of your abilities were straight forward, but the ability to manipulate the wind as a whole, that was something else entirely.
It was like flexing a limb you hadn't moved in ten years after being in a coma. you knew how to achieve what you wanted, you just didn't have the control needed to do it right now.
You shook your head, "Let's get a move on alright?"
"Fine with me," Ruki shrugged, "As long as you're done being a wimp and checking out Jeri."
"I wasn't checking her out!" you denied flatly.
"Yeah you were," Ruki rolled her eyes, "I saw your eyes zero in on her tits quite a few times, you really do have a thing for stacked redheads huh?"
Goddamnit, this again?
Together, your group of three humans and two digimon made your way down inside the busted open stair case. "There's one digimon, a pretty powerful one at that waiting just down there alone," Ruki hummed in interest, "Dibs." she added a moment later.
You lifted your own digivice and brought up your own compass, looking at the red dot nearest to you, and a bunch of others further down, oddly you couldn't see any Data Eater's on it, "By the looks of the energy levels it's giving off, it's an ultimate level digimon," you noted, "A pretty powerful one at that."
"Great isn't it?" Ruki almost beamed, she was that excited, she then looked to her digimon, just as you reached the bottom of the stairs, "Ready Taomon?"
"Indeed Ruki." the vixen digimon nodded.
"...Power indeed." Leomon gasped when you entered the lower floor, and saw a Paildramon of all things standing there clawed arms crossed and tapping one foot impatiently.
"Finally!" it cried, throwing both arms into the air, "You goons have any idea how long I've been waiting for a fight? Everyone else ran away from me and hid, even that mouthy Myotismon."
"Well you won't have to wait much longer tough guy," Ruki taunted, "Me and Taomon are gonna walk all over you."
It looked to Ruki and then Taomon, before taking in you all, and snorting, "Really? A Taomon a Leomon and a trio of weak humans?" it laughed, "Data's data I suppose, but I'm a damn Paildramon little girl, there's a reason why a freaking Myotismon, Angewomon, Aeroveedramon and Black Rapidmon ran away like little bitches the minute they saw me."
"A weakling is a weakling," Ruki near threw its words back in its face, "What do I care if a bunch of even weaker weaklings ran from a tougher weakling?"
"..You know what girly," it grunted, levelling a clawed arm at your girlfriend, and you had to hold yourself back from bringing out Black Imperialdramon and showing it the pecking order - Ruki would get angry after all, "At first I was just gonna enjoy a fight. Now I'm gonna enjoy hurtin' ya."
"Oooh I'm so scared," Ruki mock gasped, "Not." she continued flatly.
"That's it!" Paildramon roared, "Killin' ya all!" its clawed arms slapped down onto the blasters at its waist and you saw blue light burst into life within them as it powered up its signature attack.
You know the attack very well, it's one of your favourites to use with a card slash after all.
The moment Paildramon's blasters began to flare with cyan blue energy, Taomon X thrust one of her clawed paws forward, "Talismon Spell." she intoned softly.
A spherical transparent barrier flared up into life around you all, protecting the entire group just a split moment before a rapid fire barrage of energy bullets blitzed forward and slammed against the barrier.
Taomon winced as the barrier rippled under the assault and staggered back a bit, but held strong.
"Lemme show you how a pro tamer works rookie," Ruki winked at Juri and walked passed you, but not before slapping you on the ass as she went by and casually sliding a card out of her deck box hanging from the back of her belt, "Taomon X! Hyper Speed Activate."
"Hold it down Taomon, I want to test out your strongest ability, we haven't had the chance to use it on anything yet." Ruki calmly directed.
"Yes Ruki." Taomon X nodded her head obediently. She clenched her claws together and the barrier dissolved from around you all and surged forward with a simple push of the vixen digimon's paw. It turned into a massive wave of force, lightning cackling through it and shot towards the Paildramon.
The fusion digimon cut off its attack and roared, throwing itself forward to slam its massive glowing claws into the wave of force. The lightning rushed over its form but it barely even bat an eye, merely roaring louder and slashing forward bit by it until it cleaved through the wave of power.
"Is that it you-" it began to taunt with a laugh, but you saw its eyes widen in shock as Taomon X suddenly appeared in front of it in a blur of speed. Speed was always her forte, and even with her new form inhibiting her a bit, Taomon X was still incredibly fast, and her speed was being doubled thanks to Ruki's modify card.
"Thousand Spell." the ultimate level vixen said softly, placing the palm of her paw upon the dragon warrior's chest.
"Wha-!" Paildramon shouted in shock, only to be muffled as thousands of pieces of paper with kanji on them began to spread out from where Taomon X touched, spreading across its body in the span of a few moments and binding it in place.
"Perfect," Ruki near purred as her first digimon partner jumped back as your bodacious redhead girlfriend lifted her digivice into the air, the screen glowing. "Now!"
"Right!" Taomon nodded and before your eyes, her very body faded from existence and was replaced by a swirling beam of yellow energy. Two similar beams of energy shout out of Ruki's digivice, one silver, the other black and swirled around Taomon's energy form.
"Trinity Burst!" Three voices echoed over each other. You recognised Taomon X, Saberdramon and Metal Tyrannomon X's voices.
As one, the trio of swirling beams of power shot forward, faster than even you could keep track of and you could keep up with the speed of mega level digimon now.
The bound Paildramon didn't even get to make a peep of resistance before the trio of digimon in energy form ploughed into it and through it, utterly erasing it from existence in nearly the blink of an eye, the trio's power so great together even a digimon of Paildramon's level couldn't put up even a token of resistance.
The black and silver energy beams shot back into Ruki's digivice as Paildramon virus into data, and the yellow energy beam reformed into Taomon X on the ground, the vixen falling to a knee and panting deeply.
"Oh wow!" Juri clapped, "How'd she do that?" she wondered aloud.
"..My word." Leomon gasped at the sheer power displayed.
And you? As your girlfriend turned to you and smirked at you proudly, puffing her chest out in pride and doing marvelous things to her tits, you couldn't help but whistle.
That was something fucking else, you had to admit. An attack like that would even be enough to seriously hurt your Black Imperialdramon or Black Metal Garurumon X. Trinity Burst huh? What a bullshit power.
With the power her digimon would get from Paildramon now, it would do even more damage.
...Not that you had any room to call bullshit mind you with what you constantly got up to.
"Not a bad haul," you commented walking over to your girlfriend, "Who you giving it to?"
"Saberdramon and Taomon," Ruki shrugged and answered without even turning to look at you, "Taomon did most of the work, but I've not been focusing much on Saberdramon lately."
She lifted her digivice into the air, "Reload, Saberdramon!" she commanded, and in a flash of light, the massive dark feathered counterpart of Birdramon appeared beside Taomon X under the rain of glistening data left behind by their defeated foe.
"I mean sure," you shrugged, "But think of it this way. Comparing him to the digimon we saw watching the Adventure series the other day, Saberdramon would probably be able to solo that Devimon even with it hyped up on Ogremon and all those dark gears."
During the weekend, the two of you had just spent it lazing away in your bed watching the anime series. You'd marathoned the entire series. It hadn't aged as well since you last saw it, but mostly because you spent most of your time dealing with digimon that made their foes look like putzes.
Well, you did enjoy Tai and Agumon at least. Agumon was your favourite of the partner digimon by far. You would have loved Gabumon as well, if it weren't for Matt and his angst. Compared to how you grew up, it just made him look like a spoiled brat and made you want to kick his ass.
"Well obviously," she rolled her eyes, "But that's not a big accomplishment. You've got two, maybe three digimon right now capable of slapping about the Dark Masters and Apocalymon like they owned them money."
"Very true," you grinned. Can't deny that your digimon are fucking awesome. But then, you don't think anybody is quite as shameless and outright pragmatic as you when it comes to raising their digimon. At least not to the same degree you did. Most people thought in too much of a linear fashion no matter how smart they were. That's where your background came in handy. "But speaking of, once we're done with this shit, why don't we watch the second series like the last one?" you asked. Lazing in bed with your naked girlfriend pressed up against you, yes please. And no way your classes weren't getting cancelled for at least a few days with the whole big digimon reveal. It was a rich kid school after all that you only got into thanks to your scholarship.
"Should I be jealous you want me to lay in bed with you while you check out the older Kari and Mimi?" Ruki arced one eyebrow at you, turning to face you.
Well, you did think Mimi was striking with her pink and red highlights. And older Kari was hot. "Nah, they're hot, but they've got nothing on you babe." you grinned at her. And to punctuate your point, you reached out and gave one of her large breasts a hefty squeeze.
"Aren't you romanti-" your girlfriend rolled her eyes and began replying. She didn't get the chance to finish though as her digimon finished up absorbing the data of Paildramon between them.
And Saberdramon erupted into bright light. "Saberdramon Matrix Digivolve to..!"
Before your very eyes, Saberdramon, already massive began to morph and expand rapidly. Shooting up from twenty feet long, to over forty feet, maybe even above fifty feet, taking on a bipedal humanoid form, massive wings jutting out form his back.
"Garudamon!" he declared proudly, voice deeper than ever and reverberating around the entire station area you were in. The light burst apart and showed off his new form to you all.
You took in his massive form and couldn't help but whistle. Damn he was big. Nowhere near as big as your Black Imperialdramon, and even further still from the size of Golden Black Metal Greymon X, but his new form was still huge, it would tower over that one SkullGreymon you captured and sold the other week.
"Eat your heart out Sora." Ruki snorted, crossing her arms under her prodigious bust and smirking with pride.
A prideful smirk that immediately fell away as the newly digivolved Garudamon's eyes lit up and he turned towards his tamer, "Boss lady!" he cheered, "Check me out! I've got hands now! Wooohoo!" he cheered, throwing said hands into the air and dancing around
"He's so cute!" Jeri giggled, looking up at the massive bird digimon as Leomon walked over carrying her, "You wouldn't think such a big scary looking digimon could be so cute."
"Cute she says.." Leomon shook his head, looking up at the massive digimon in utter bewilderment, "..I have no idea how to react to this. To see such a powerful digimon prance with such childlike joy. It is the complete opposite of any other ultimate level I have bore witness to in my life during my time in the digital world."
..Yeah, considering Leomon grew up in a dog eat dog world and managed to make it to Champion,meaning he must have waded right into it all. The kind of shit you pulled with your girlfriend and your digimon must have seemed almost beyond imagination. The big lion man digimon was clearly far out of his depths here.
Ruki looked up at her digimon and face palmed as his powerful and cool looks were ruined by his girly and excitable prancing.
Your girlfriend as bold as she is, can be easily embarrassed in the most surprising of ways. For instance, she loves her cool image. And with Garudamon ruining that. Her first reflex was to palm her face and groan.
Her second was to lift her digivice and return both her digimon inside. You raised an eyebrow at her, "Don't give me that look," she groaned, "They need the rest anyway, Taomon exhausted herself using that ability, I didn't think it would take so much out of her, but I really should have."
"I could have just healed her and gave her the stamina back," you chuckled, walking passed your girlfriend towards the stairwell on the other side of the room and down deeper.
Of course, as you spent you lashed out and gave her a spank on that lovely ass of hers to repay her doing it to you a few minutes ago.
She jumped a bit, but forced herself not to react, "Oh shut up," Ruki rolled her eyes, before cocking her hip a bit, "You're lucky I'm a good girlfriend. Most girls wouldn't like you casually slapping their ass whenever you want."
"..But you did it to him first though." Juri pointed out as Leomon followed behind you carrying her still.
"He's always got his hands on my ass and tits," Ruki replied to her as she fell in with us and followed me, "It was just a little payback."
Juri cocked her head to the side, "You're really open about your relationship huh?" she mused, "None of my friends were anywhere near as casual as you two are when they were dating. And the boy I used to like couldn't stop stuttering around me and getting flustered."
"This isn't my first relationship," you replied without turning around, you felt something a bit off as soon as you got to around the middle of the room. It felt like something was watching you all, "And Ruki only gets shy when I tell her how much I love her."
Ruki spluttered, "Y-you jackass!" you cast a quick glance over your shoulder and grinned when you saw her face flush a bit at the sudden declaration of love, "Don't just spout that out!"
Jeri giggled, "I see what you mean, it's kinda funny," she said, and you saw her look at Ruki almost wistfully before you turned back a round, "I'm kind of jealous how close you two are. I wanted a closeness like that which is why I tried to date Takato, but it didn't really work out like I wanted."
Who the hell was Takato?
"You want a turn with this lug?" you heard Ruki ask, rather predictably. Nokia and Ami were not the first girls she'd threw that offer to. She'd used it as a shield to ward off the gushing girls of your class trying to get close to her using your relationship as an excuse the last two weeks. And honestly, you think he's almost getting off on the sheer shock people have been reacting with to her offer, "He's a monster in bed with a dick bigger than my arm. Having another girl in the relationship for him to fuck and give me time to rest would be a big help."
"Eh?" Juri sounded puzzled for a moment. Then your eyes widened at her next words, "Well, you guys have been really nice to me and Leomon and he is really good looking. I don't want to just jump into giving up my virginity, but if we start off with a few dates to see how things go, sure!"
Well, well, well. You looked over your shoulder and grinned massively at Ruki who was staring up at Juri in utter shock that she took her up on her offer.
You were about to comment on their talk when you sensed it again, to your right. Your eyes went to one of the support pillars, more specifically, the shadow it cast on the ground.
In there, hiding in the shadow!
