"Deku!" the snarl escaped the lips of the angry blond young man, Bakugo "Kacchan" Katsuki, an explosion being made in his hand because of his outburst. He rushed the greenette and got into the personal space of the "quirkless" teen, spittle flying from his mouth. "Why the fuck do you look different?!"

He and Midoriya were in Aldera at the moment, about to do volleyball in the gym when Bakugo noticed the new physique of the "wimp" (he didn't look like one though).

"I-I-I've been working out?" Izuku explained while stuttering. A very small crowd had formed around the two boys, some jeering while others looked sorry for the greenette.

"Why the hell would your ass do anything to better yourself, after all this time?!" Bakugo asked hotly, explosions forming in his hands. Some of the PE teachers glanced in his direction, acknowledged that he was doing his own illegal thing, and went back to talking to each other.

"K-Katsuki! I swear, nothing's—"

"The fuck did you call me?" Bakugo practically whispered, stunned at what "Deku" had done.

Or rather, what he hadn't done. The "quirkless freak" didn't call him "Kacchan," a name he despised, or so he thought. The crowd also went dead silent at this, shocked as they had always known that Midoriya (or "Deku" in their eyes) called Bakugo "Kacchan."

"Katsuki?" Midoriya tried again, looking confused.

"Why the fuck aren't you calling me…you know? The thing."

"My mom said to not to after I showed her the burn marks you gave me," Izuku said, looking remorseful.

"Burn marks?" Bakugo parroted back.

"Yeah, when you used your quirk illegally on me, like a punching bag? Remember?" Midoriya reminded, pulling up his shirt to show the faded-away handprints, courtesy of the help of Recovery Girl. "I got this one," he pointed to the one that was above his hip but below his belly button, "when I was eleven and you had a bad day because you dropped your soda. This one," he pointed to the one on his shoulder, "was when you discouraged me yet again on going to UA. Happened earlier this month."

Bakugo was in shock, his brain giving back the "Error 404" mistake before he shook his head clear. "Stupid Deku! I didn't use my quirk to its fullest extent to cause normal burns to appear, so you must have a weak-ass body to match your quirklessness!" he told Midoriya, but it sounded a lot like he was trying to convince himself.

Izuku shrugged, letting go of his shirt as he then said, "I didn't want her to, but my mom is looking to sue you."

"Auntie? Suing me?"

"Yeah, I don't agree with it either, Katsuki, but it's not my choice. Let's have a good game, okay?"

"Izuku!" a voice cried out as soon as he left Aldera's premises. He was then scooped into a hug, a huge bosom being pressed unwillingly into his face as he struggled to breathe, and more importantly, control his fierce blush. "I'm so sorry for what my brat has done to you!"

"Auntie?!" Midoriya asked as he pulled out of the hug, seeing that it was indeed Bakugo Mitsuki. She was in her prime and was wearing casual clothing, with sunglasses on her head. "What are you doing here? Don't you have a job as a model?"

"Izuku, I came as soon as my phone turned back on yesterday! When Inko sent me that picture and text of what Katsuki did to you…I couldn't believe it."

"It's okay, I don't blame you," he tried to reassure her, but that made her pull him in for a hug once more.

"She smells nice…no, bad Izuku!" he chastised to himself, getting out of the hug before something undesirable happened downstairs.

"I'll be having words with Katsuki, don't you worry, Izuku!" she promised before seeing her kid, hunched over while walking with his hands in his pockets. Mitsuki stomped over and grabbed him by the ear, him swearing creatively all the while as he was dragged over to Midoriya. "Apologize!"

"What?! Fuck no!" Katsuki denied, smacking away the hand on his ear. "I ain't apologizing to shitty Deku!"

"Deku?" Mitsuki repeated, confused.

"It means useless, Auntie," the greenette answered meekly.

"Oh, you son of a—Katsuki!" she growled out, hitting him hard on the back of his head.

"Ow! Don't do that, you old hag!" the male blonde cried out angrily, rubbing the spot in pain.

"First you assault him for the last ten years, then you call him 'Deku?' What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"He's just a shitty quirkless freak, old hag! Who cares about him besides his mother?! None of the extras at school care, the teachers don't give a damn, I don't care, why should you?!" he argued.

Then he was slapped across the face.

Hard.

"I am so sorry for Katsuki, Izuku," Auntie said sadly, her hand stinging from the hit. "Brat, you will apologize later, when you can get it through your thick head that Izuku is a human being too," she vowed, dragging her stunned son away to the car parked nearby.

It was quiet as Midoriya Izuku was left by himself in front of Aldera Junior High, ruminating what had just happened. "That was…kinda cool!" he gushed to himself. "I forgot how Auntie is a no-nonsense type of mother towards Katsuki," he said to himself, a pep in his step as he went home.

Since it was his day off from training, Midoriya thought that he could kick it back and relax his sore muscles. He basked in the pleasurable pain it brought him as he relaxed in his room.

That was before he got a text message out of the blue, from Aizawa-sensei of all people, who rarely contacted him by choice.

Kid, meet me at this morgue.

[Aizawa has sent a location to you]

Wear a jacket or something, it's cold there.

Or don't.

After putting on a red puffy jacket that resembled a life preserver, Midoriya made his way by train to go to the specific morgue that Aizawa-sensei had instructed. Since it was so recent after school Izuku saw dozens of students of different students from different schools also going someplace, presumably home.

Midoriya wondered if he was going to get another quirk or two today before he departed the train, walking his way to the place in question. There was a heavy police presence guarding the morgue from as far away as three blocks, blocking him from entering.

"Sorry, son, but take a different way. This place has been cut off," the officer informed the greenette, holding up a hand in the "Stop" gesture.

"He's with me, actually," Eraserhead butted into the conversation, appearing from the sidelines. He took out his pro hero license and presented it to the officer, who seemed a little miffed by the action. "Come with me, Midoriya," Aizawa drawled out, a small smirk on his face. He was wearing his hero costume, which was a black attire with his capture tape surrounding his neck like a winter scarf. He led the both of them to the outer door of the morgue, where they were greeted by:

"Mr. Yagi, sir!" Midoriya greeted enthusiastically, doing a small wave with an infectious energy that made the gruffer adult smile a little more openly.

"Young Midoriya," Yagi greeted curtly while wearing his usual baggy clothing, consisting of blue denim jeans and a blue, red, and white All Might-themed t-shirt. "I don't like this, Aizawa."

"I don't give a damn if you don't like it, Yagi," Eraserhead gruffly rebuked with a roll of his eyes. "He's acting like a child for fuck's sake," the underground pro hero thought sardonically. "Kid, we're gonna power you up today."

"We are?" Midoriya asked in a hopeful voice, his original quirk whispering to him from the sidelines at his luck. It was telling him to go along with the heroes, to feast upon new and exciting quirks.

"Yes indeed!" said a hidden, joyful voice. A second later and principal Nedzu himself appeared out of Aizawa's clothing, standing on the man's shoulder wearing his usual clothing, that being a black vest covering a white button up with a red tie, and his typical orange boots.

"Gah!" Midoriya yelped, slightly startled by the sudden appearance. "Principal Nedzu! Are you and Mr. Yagi going with me and Aizawa-sensei?" he asked innocently, as if he was going on a donut run.

"We are, Mr. Midoriya! I am most intrigued by how your quirk operates, so let's please get this underway!" Nedzu said as he jumped off of his underling co-worker onto the ground, dusting himself off afterwards. The four of them walked inside the morgue, which looked like a typical house if one squinted right. Midoriya didn't have time to admire the decor before they went to the basement, not being impeded by any officers or morticians.

When the stairs ended they were faced by rows and rows of caveder storage, a pull-out system that categorized the dead bodies. Two of them, which were side by side, were highlighted by bright pink tape. Aizawa strode over and casually opened up both of them at the same time, revealing two bodies, one male and one female.

For the male he had jet black hair that spiked at the back and a light mustache.

For the female she had brunette hair and a small but strong build.

As part of their hero uniform they were both wearing red vests that had a yellow/black symbol of what looked like a dog on their upper left nipple. Both wore visors that had snorkels attached but didn't actually work, suggesting that it was purely decorational.

"Water Hose?! They died?!" Midoriya cried out, the infamous "Midoriya Tears™" making itself known. His teacher awkwardly patted the back of his student lightly, not really sure how to handle the mushy crap. After a solid cry of three minutes he collected himself, wiping away the tears. "How did they die?"

"They were defending a village from a villain called Muscular when he killed them; he is obviously still at large within Japan. They leave behind a son, but they will not be forgotten by anyone," Yagi said resolutely. "I still don't think we should disrespect the dead by doing this."

"And I'll tell you what I said last time, Toshinori: The dead can't complain! They can't say no or yes! And they most certainly don't mind Mr. Midoriya taking their quirks. Speaking of that, do you mind?"

"With pleasure," Midoriya responded as he cracked his knuckles before reaching out and taking both the corpses' quirks, both of them having blue in color, but the man's was more aquamarine than the other. They were both fading away, about to become as dead as their owners. He felt the quirks slot within his body and a buzz of a headache forming in his head.

How odd.

"I took them, but I feel a sudden headache," Midoriya told them, rubbing his temples to ease the pain. "But I managed to get their quirks."

"Just like that?" the chimera asked, shocked that it was that quick.

"Please don't do what I did, Nedzu," Aizawa requested, making a "Please" gesture. "I did the same when we first did this and he wouldn't shut up."

Midoriya wilted at the harshness.

Shouta sighed as he laid a hand on the young man's shoulder, "I didn't mean it like that, kid. Your analytical mind is a boon to heroics, don't you forget that."

"Thank you, sir."

"Did I have to be here?" Yagi suddenly asked, reminding them that yes, he was here.

"It's important that both you and All Might get over your prejudice of Mr. Midoriya. How's that faring?" Nedzu asked.

"It's a struggle."

A twenty minute drive later and the quadrio got to UA's campus grounds, going to Gym Alpha like previously when Midoriya first got Drill and Shield.

"Now, Mr. Midoriya," Nedzu commanded the attention of the young man, "Aizawa and I have discussed this privately and we want you to temporarily take Erasure and give Aizawa the two new ones you just got."

"Why is that?" Toshinori asked.

"I imagine it's to see what happens if a person who had a quirk can be stripped away from one and given a new one," Midoriya hypothesized aloud, much to the nodding heads of Aizawa and Nedzu.

"Correct on all parts, young man! Let's get this demonstration underway."

With a nod from both teacher and student did a handshake that went on for a bit too long before they broke away. Midoriya's eyes flashed red as his hair defied gravity, clearly using the quirk Erasure. He was only able to maintain the eye strain for so long before he turned it off.

"Jeez, that hurt my eyes!" the young man complained. "But it was so cool! Using the quirk of the Eraserhead is awesome!"

"Aizawa, how are you doing?" Nedzu asked as he watched the man create a small stream of water from one hand before manipulating the water into different shapes, like a triangle or a circle.

"It's going well, but I'm getting a tad thirsty doing this," he flatly answered, internally thinking the thought that this was also cool, much like Midoriya.

Toshinori watched on helplessly as he saw his worst fears be realized, quirks being combined and given and taken away and he couldn't do a damn thing about it! Nedzu was sanctioning all of this and they technically weren't breaking any rules or laws, so his hands were tied.

Not knowing his inner turmoil Nedzu requested for the quirks to be reallocated and returned to their rightful owners. Aizawa and Midoriya did another awkwardly long handshake and the quirks were switched back to normal.

"Now, Mr. Midoriya, for your quirk training, how much do you know of the Water Hose's quirks?" the chimera asked.

"I know that the man's was Water Generation, the ability to create limitless water as long as he was well-hydrated, and I know of the woman's quirk was Hydrokinesis, the ability to manipulate any water that was within a certain range. The two of them used their quirks in conjunction fantastically and were quite known to take A-rank villains down."

"Excellent knowledge as always, Mr. Midoriya!" Nedzu praised, clapping lightly in amusement.

"Can I go now?" Yagi asked, barely holding himself back from buffing up and doing something undesirable to the young man.

The principal sighed in disappointment before saying, "Yes, go."

The blond left soon after, leaving the trio behind.

"Now that he's gone," Aizawa began, "test out your quirks, Midoriya."

"Yes, sir!" Midoriya said before creating a ball of water the size of a lacrosse ball, using both Water Generation and Hydrokinesis to conform and manipulate it. He activated Metal Knuckles and threw it at a wall for the extra strength boost and watched it sail away, smacking loudly and exploding in wetness all over the wall.

He smiled as he created more water and this time formed a huge scythe made of water and mentally commanded it to swing, the air whistling at the imaginary target. Izuku then held out a hand, palms facing out, as he conjured a water ball and shot it from his hand like a repulsor blast from that comic book prequirk hero, Iron something or the other. It rocketed from his hand and also exploded against a wall, a resounding SPLASH! being heard as it broke apart.

"Very good, young man! You're taking it like a duck in water."

Aizawa snorted at the simile as he encouraged, "Yeah, kid, keep it up."

"I have another idea! I just hope it works…" Midoriya muttered to himself before creating another ball of water, but this time he spawned a sizable drill on one end. He then violently shot the ball from his hand using Hydrokinesis and the thing sailed away, embedding itself into the wall as it drilled through the material. "Yes! A new supermove!"

"Well thought, Mr. Midoriya! You've gone from a close-range fighter to a mid-range one!"

"I do feel a bit parched, though," he said as he clutched his throat, his mouth a little dry. "And my headache is still there ever since I got these two new quirks."

"Hmm, I wonder if your headache is in response to your new powers…try taking Aizawa's quirk and see what happens."

Midoriya grabbed his teacher's hand and took his quirk easily enough, but this caused his headache to get even worse, it being like a migraine now. "Yeah, ow, this hurts."

"It got worse?" Shouta asked.

"Yep, here you go," Izuku answered as he gave back Erasure, his headache lessening back to what it was before.

"It seems that Mr. Midoriya has a limit of sorts of how many quirks he can take before it starts to strain his body. How fascinating," Nedzu hypothesized before pulling out his smartphone and checking the time. "Ah, that's all the time we have today, young man! Please keep practicing at home, Mr. Midoriya."

"Wii do, sirs!"

Midoriya got home and immediately wrote down in his History Notes about his two new quirks:

Water Generation (Emitter-type): The ability to create limitless water as long as one is well-hydrated; causes thirst when used too long.

Hydrokinesis (Emitter-type): The ability to manipulate any water that's within a certain range.

He then wrote down some theories:

Water Generation Theories:

Theory #1: I can create water anywhere I want around my body (tested flawlessly, made me mighty thirsty though).

Hydrokinesis Theories:

Theory #1: I can create water fists to augment my punching ability (works flawlessly, really strong).

Theory #2: I can make water fists appear anywhere I need on my body when used with Water Generation (tested flawlessly).

Theory #3: I can make wings made of water to fly like that Lazuli character from that prequirk show (untested).

Izuku took a break from writing to test out theory number three, going outside and making sure no one was around to watch him, he manifested a harness made of water over him, creating two wings made of water on his upper back. Midoriya hesitantly flapped his water wings, feeling the force behind them as they slightly lifted him off the ground by an inch or two. He flapped them harder, getting picked up by a full foot before stumbling back to the ground.

He took a deep breath as he began fluttering his water wings in rhythm, getting lifted off the ground until he was flying high overhead, whooping all the while.
