Harry stepped out of Gringotts and into Diagon Alley. He had two shrunken trunks in his pocket.

Normally the legacy vault only contained family secret type things. Potion recipes and spells that were created by his family along with the notes about their experimentation. But since his parents had passed when he was young, a lot of their possessions were moved into the vault. He had found a set of journals his mother had kept along with his parents school books and other similar things.

He grabbed everything he thought might bring him a bit closer to his departed family along with a few packets of notes on spells his ancestors had created.

Harry no longer sighed at the fact that he was constantly stared at while he was in public. It was a bit more bearable since they were staring at him for being a war hero instead of something his mother did. Thank goodness nobody ever used that silly Boy-Who-Lived nonsense anymore.

It also became easier as the years passed. People would nod at him or smile, but it was rare to be stopped in the street anymore, which also made things easier.

He walked towards Weasley Wizard Wheezes. With school out for the summer, the shop was packed with children and the parents they had dragged along.

He pushed open the door and instead of a bell chime, a loud fart noise rang out.

"If it isn't the man himself."

"The master of Mastery's,"

"Witch Weekly's yummiest Wizard,"

"The Conqueror of Communication,"

"The one,"

"The only,"

"Parry Hotter."

Harry chuckled and shook his head. "Fred, Geroge, how have you been."

"He's not Fred, I am."

"Honestly Harry, you are supposed to be our business partner and you can't even tell us apart."

"Nope, not buying it." Harry said. "You're Fred, and your George."

The twins tisked in unison. "One day you will tell us how you can tell us a part. I even wore Fred's suit today."

"And I wore Georges."

Harry rolled his eyes and laughed. "Why would that change anything? Your suits are identical."

"See, I told you George, Harry didn't sneak into our flat and put tracking charms on all your clothes but not mine."

"I guess when your right, your right."

Harry had no plans on telling the twins how he could identify them. It was one of the perks of being the Master of Death. He could see people's true names.

"What brings our esteemed business partner into our fine shop today?" Asked George.

"I wanted to let you both know that I received my Enchanting Mastery last night."

"That's great."

"Congratulations."

"Good on you."

"What do you have planned next?" Asked Fred.

Harry paused. "I… Am not really sure what I want to do next."

The Twins nodded. "You can always invent and create."

"Those communication mirrors you based of the old Marauders version are still one of our top sellers."

"We even fully supply the Ministry and 7 other government now."

"The auror force of most countries now include it in their standard kit."

"You could make some prank items, or whatever you want, and you can put whatever you want into our store."

"It is your business too."

"And our supply channels,"

"Are your supply channels."

Harry rubbed his chin. He did love making things. He nodded. "I think I just may do that. I do have a couple of ideas floating around."

Fred and George shot each other a look.

"Brother of mine, are you thinking what I am thinking?"

"I just may be."

"He is a bit of a free spirt."

"He does need something to do."

"I doubt Luna will mind."

"It will get Angelina and Katie off our backs."

"But would he want too?"

"Perhaps, but I know how to find out."

"Enlighten me."

"We ask."

With that, both twins turned to Harry.

"Let's talk in the back." Said Fred.

Harry followed the twins into the back office. Three desks filled the room, two were covered with half finished products and notes while one just had a few books.

The twins made sure Harry had a desk in their office and were always adamant that even though he was a silent partner, the business was just as much his as theirs.

Once the door was shut, Fred turned to Harry.

"We have a bit of news about the business Harrykins."

"We haven't mentioned anything because you have been in study mood the past month for your test, but it seems that now you have nothing but time."

Harry nodded agreeing and motioning for them to continue.

"We are opening up a second store." They said in unison.

"That's great. Sounds like things are on the rise."

Both twins nodded.

"The issue is. It's in America."

"We are sending Tim, our assistant manager to be the general manager."

"It works out because his wife has family over there, so they are happy for the move."

"But Fred and I are going to have to go over and help make sure things run smoothly."

"We were planning on staying there for the first 3 months."

"To save on cost we are opening a new production line in the States, and we need to make sure everything is up to our standards."

"Tim is great with potions and running a business, but the rest..."

"He can't charm his way out of a trash bin."

"And knows nothing about enchanting."

"So if you wanted to try something new,"

"You can work on your ideas over there and quality check our merchandise."

"We would still pop by to check up on things,"

"But it would get us out of the dog house with our girlfriends."

"They aren't thrilled with us leaving for 3 months."

"So what do you think?"

Harry sat down behind his desk and rubbed his chin. It would be a big change, but it wouldn't be that drastic. All his friends were pretty busy lately, and Luna was out of the country for the next 2 months. Even then she wouldn't care whether he was here or there. She could easily come visit. Ever since her father passed, he was the only thing tying her to Britan. If he wasn't here, she would just go wherever he was.

He could work on his projects anywhere as long as he had a dedicated safe place. It would only take a few days to set up a new one. It wouldn't be too hard.

He already blew off his Wizengamot duties. Well he didn't blow them off, he made Andromeda his proxy and read over her reports. Their ideas on the community were pretty much in line with each other. And she had a mirror if she needed to get ahold of him.

The longer he thought about it, the more he realized there was no reason not to.

Harry smiled to the twins. "I am interested, tell me more."

Stepping out of the portkey arrival zone, Harry spotted a large sign overhead.

'Welcome to New York City'

It was a week ago that the twins approached him with the idea. He tentatively agreed while he took a few days to talk to his friend and his closest confidant, Dobby. But as the days passed, he found himself looking forward to it more and more. So he made things official.

He spent the rest of the week with his godson Teddy. The little hellion was upset that he was leaving, but Remus and Tonks promised that they would go visit. That calmed the 4 year old down pretty quickly.

Once Harry pulled out the color changing animated toy wolf he made for his godson, he was all but forgotten.

Before he left, Teddy made him promise to call him at least once every 3 days on the mirror. The little rascal even threated to withhold hugs if he forgot.

But now he was here, in New York city, embarking on an exciting adventure that didn't involve fighting.

Harry couldn't wait.

When his number was called, he progressed to the customs desk.

"Identification." The woman behind the desk said.

Harry handed over his passport along with a stack of ICW exemptions. The woman raised an eyebrow before picking up the passport.

"Harry Potter." She murmured in surprise while checking the photo.

"That's me." He replied with a lopsided smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet ya." She said while drawing her wand. "I need to cast a couple of charms to check for band items. I will also need your wand too so I can record your magical signature."

Harry placed his holly wand along with the Elder wand on the counter.

"I am afraid only law enforcement are allowed to carry multiple wands in the United States."

Harry gave a small smile while he sighed. "Unfortunately, you will have a bit of extra work with me." He said while tapping the ICW papers. "That isn't the only rule I am breaking. But I assure you I have the proper paperwork for all the exemptions required."

The woman shrugged. "No worries, as long as everything is in order it's not a big deal. If I am not helping you, I will be helping someone else anyway. Get the paperwork for the second wand and I will start my scans. Once I find a violation, present the proper exemption and we will tick them off one by one."

"Sounds good." Harry said while he picked up the papers and set down the wand exemption.

The witch began her first scan.

"Okay, I am detecting a class 5 poison."

"I was bitten by a basilisk when I was 12. It was countered with phoenix tears. Here is my medical report."

The woman gave him a once over with a side eye and then took the health report before scanning again.

Her eyes widened in alarm. "A class XXXX beast is in your possession."

"Here is my beast breeding license and my class XXXX taming permit. And no, I have no plans to engage in animal breeding during my stay."

The woman read the documents quickly and let out a breath when everything in order.

"An what beasts did you bring with you."

"An Occamy. This is Gander." Harry said as he held open the front pocket of his jeans and a small blue snake-like head popped out and looked around.

"Well aren't you a little cutie." The witch said with a smile before Gander dove back into the pocket. "Is it a new baby, I thought Occamy were supposed to be pretty big.

"He is an adolescent, almost an adult. But Occamy can change in size. They don't have one natural size, it's just their limit expands as they grow older. Gander can be small enough to fit in a shot glass or when he is at his biggest, he is 150 meters long."

"Wow. Well I am sure you know, but if he causes problems or breaks the Statute, it is your responsibility."

Harry nodded. He was well aware of the laws that surround his little buddy.

They continued through the list and Harry brought out all the restricted substances he had with him and the proper paperwork to go with it. That was one benefit of being the Man-Who-Won, along with him helping out the ICW. As long as he was competent enough, they would push through the paperwork for him. And with the proof from his Mastery's, the ICW wasn't breaking the rules to help him, just bending them to speed up the process.

20 minutes later he was finally done and had everything put away.

"Great, I have a copy of everything on file. Next time you come to visit it should be a much quicker process."

Harry nodded, he was familiar with this since he had already traveled to several different countries in Europe. The only reason it took so long was because it was his first trip to the states.

"Well I hope you enjoy your stay. Ah wait. Hold on a sec. I forgot to do the normal question."

Harry just smiled, he had been waiting for it.

"Reason for visit?"

"Opening a new branch of Weasley Wizards Wheezes."

"For real? Nice, I ordered one of their mirrors and then mail ordered a few other products. My little brother loves the Wall-Walkers. Last week, him and the neighbor kid were playing tag on the ceiling until mom confiscated them."

"Ha, ha, those are fun. We are having our grand opening next weekend. Our shop is located in Nilla Square on the north side."

"Great, if I am not working I will make sure to bring my little brother. How did they get you to work for them. Is it some marketing thing?"

"No." Harry said with a shake of his head. "I am actually their originally investor and am the creator of a few of their products."

"Oh wow, did you make anything I would know?"

"The communication mirrors are my most successful product. We actually have a few new mirrors that are going to be launched at our opening."

"That's awesome. A lot of people I know are using the mirrors now and only use owls for important things or deliveries. My brother has been hounding my parents to get him a mirror but it's pretty expensive to get for a 12 year old who is homeschooled."

"They are a bit pricey, but we have a new children's version coming out. It's a lot cheaper. But the down side is it doesn't have planet wide access, the range is only 100 kilometers. But it does have parental controls so parents can control how much time the kids spend on the mirror and they can set up who the kid is able to contact. We also have an upgraded mirror coming out. If you don't answer a call the other party can leave a message that you can view later. We also added 4 way calling."

"4 way calling?"

"It lets you have 4 mirrors connect at once. Your display will be partitioned into 3 sections. It would be like standing with 3 friends in front of you. You can bring your mirror in, and we can add the extra features for a reasonable price."

"I will make sure to swing by then. Okay your all set, enjoy your stay the States."

Harry put his documentation away and left the customs booth.

He entered an area filled with information agents and plucked out a pamphlet on local laws and apparition points.

Once he was ready, he apparated to an area near Nilla Square.

He had the coordinates to enter the square itself but wanted to enter from the muggle side for the first time. Or the No-Maj side as they called it here.

Harry found himself a bit off the path in Central Park. It was mid-day and the sun was high. It was much warmer here than it had been in London. He walked the path through the forest until he came to an old wooden bridge.

He took the set of rickety stairs next to the bridge and felt himself cross several muggle repelling wards. He could detect a few flaws in them and should probably tell someone but there were multiple wards so it wouldn't be a problem unless half of them fell.

At the bottom of the stairs, he found a path that led under the bridge. The shadows blanketed the under bridge in complete darkness, but Harry just walked straight through.

On the other side he found a bustling square.

A large fountain spat water into the air. A few children were splashing around in the calf high water while their minders sat on the benches nearby. The 4 sides of the square were lined with all sorts of shops. It was nothing like Diagon Alley, but still had the distinctive wizarding feel. On the south side of the square was a large white Gringotts building and a few other shops.

He walked out of the southwest corner. He had read up on the magical districts in New York before he came.

Nilla Square was a mix of shops and residential property. The North East and South East corners had streets that lead away from the square. Each was line with shops and lead to the magical neighborhood of Nilla Park. While the South East lead to a street that had a several goblin run stores and a bit of housing for the rare goblins who didn't want to live bellow ground. Most of those were the ones who had non-goblin mates.

Harry walked to the center of the north side of the square and found the new Weasley Wizard Wheezes. It was a 4-story building. The first 3 floors were for the store itself. The 2nd and 3rd floor were open in the center with stairways to go up and explore more merchandise.

Tim wasn't here at the moment, but it was clear he had already started setting up the displays. The first floor was done and the second was on its way.

In the back of the first floor was an office, employee break room, and a storage area. The 4th floor was where Harry would be staying.

Right now it was a 2 bedroom flat. The twins had originally planned on making it a vacation home if they ever visited the states. But offered it to Harry since they used the flat above the London location as their home. They said they felt a bit awkward claiming both flats as theirs since he was an equal partner.

Harry just scoffed and laughed. He feigned hurt at them not fully appreciating his masteries in Charms, Runes, and Enchanting. He could easily make a 2-bedroom flat into a full-blown manor house and told them he would make sure they had a vacation home if they ever wanted it.

Walking into the flat he saw that it was everything the twins told him it would be. Basic with nothing to special furniture.

"Dobby"

*Pop*

"What can Dobby be doing for Master Harry?"

"Pack everything away while I get to work."

Dobby moved into action while Harry pulled out his wand and started getting exact measurements. He already had several sets of plans, but he wanted to make a few minor tweaks since he was now seeing everything in person.
