She stepped outside of the limo in her Jimmy choo's with Blair. The pair walked the carpet as they were posing for the dozens of photographers working the event. "Hey Blair, im telling Nate today" She said not moving her mouth still posing for the photo. Blair's smile dropped and she was certain her heart skipped a beat. "At the party?" Blair questioned whilst the pair swiftly walked towards the door. "Name, please" The security guard asked with a monotone voice. "Serena Van Der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf" The blonde quickly replied agitated to get inside. The girls walked inside swiftly as they're heels made a distinct noise every step they took. Blair and Serena somehow coordinated their outfits. Both rocking black although Blair's was more modest and Serena had dared to wear a more form-fitting dress showing off her cleavage. They walked in to a welcoming sign that read "Welcome to the annual 63rd Constance St Judes Alumni Gala" The blonde and brunette shared a quick glance at the mention of their high school. "Everything was so much easier then" Blair said whilst the blonde nodded slowly in agreement. Serena quickly scanned the room before eyeing the golden boy at the bar. "I see Nate, I'm going to go" She said quickly to Blair.
A finger tapped Nate on the back whilst a familiar voice said "Hey."
"Serena? what are you doing here?" Nate questioned as he quickly spun around to face her. "Nate I have to tell you something" She said with a forced smile on her face. "Do you wanna go somewhere quieter i can barely her my own voice" He offered wearily as she nodded. The pair walked outside to the entrance. The camera's were all gone now. "Nate" She said scared of what his no longer response would be "What is it Serena" He was getting agitated now and started looking onto the street rather then her. "I'm pregnant." She blurted out knowing it was now or never "I found out the other day and i didn't know how to tell you". his mouth hung open a little when he realised she was being serious. "Is-Is it mine?" He questioned when he realised how stupid he was for asking that. Of course it was his. His eyes wandered onto her as tears started rolling down her sweaty cheek. "It's okay if you don't want it Nate." She said only to realise he was frowning. "Serena look at me" he whispered "I love you and I this is our kid" he smiled as he attempted emphasising the our whilst pulled her into a tight hug thinking about his impending parenthood. Nate held her for a while as she started to freeze. "Here take my coat" he laughed.
"Serena, I love you" he yelled as he was confessing his love to the blonde. "Dan, their is no love between us okay, maybe there was in high school but not anymore" She emphasised the point to make it clear but he was relentless. "Serena we have a connection don't throw it all away for Nate." Dan was now begging for Serena as he was trying to climb the steep stairs at the waldorf penthouse. "Serena, my moisturiser is missing did you ta-" Blair yawned "What is Humphrey doing here and who let him in?" The brunette shot the Blonde a disapproving look before walking slowly down the stairs and stepping infront of him so Serena wasn't in view anymore "Leave Humphrey" She commanded. The brunette boy couldn't help but leave he knew arguing with Blair Waldorf was pointless. He quickly headed for the elevator and left the two girls alone. "Serena, your pregnant with Nate''s child and your talking to Humphrey? Are you out of your mind?" The brunette was now berating the blonde. "Speaking of Nate how did it go last night?" The brunette was undoubtedly sure that he would want this kid despite the fact they were both freshly 19. "He said he would raise it, he sounded exited?" She headed to her room to swap out her heels. "Blair, I can't tell my mom yet. She's so proud of me for going to college which i don't even think I can go to now." She started walking to her closet to get the white Louboutin's out. "Beside's they already have enough on their plate with the whole Jenny thing."
"Serena you can try asking Nate if he can transfer to Brown?" she let out a sigh "That little pest is finally gone, my prayers have been answered" the pair shared a small smile then the blonde's smile quickly faded and she went into a state of excitement. "B, about college there's something i need to tell you. I got accepted into Columbia and I'm going there you know with the whole baby thing and my whole family's here it just seems like the best option." She rambled on happily.
"Serena that's wonderful news" Blair was now sharing a fake smile with the blonde who had realised the idea didn't resonate with her friend as much as she thought it did. "B what's wrong?" She asked wearing a frown on her face.
The brunette motioned for her to come in and sit beside the cashmere blankets neatly folded "Nothing S" she sighed "Everything has just been so stressful lately" She knew it was stupid to feel like this. Who wouldn't be happy about their friend going to school with them?
