Hey there, I have been reading Chainsaw Man and wanted to know what the hype was all about. I have to admit it's a pretty good story, it could have gone longer but I get it that Mangaka today don't have the will to go on for hundreds of chapters, seriously this one only lasted not even 100 chapters. However, it has memorable characters, a great set up and I like that the main character just want to have something to eat as a main goal and not something over the top. This would be a very interesting story to make and lets see where it goes.

At a rural area in Japan.

Denji a quirkless boy was at the cemetery where he was looking at the tombstone of his father, who just committed suicide. Now alone he was the only one in his family that need it to take care of the debts left, the reason of why his father committed suicide was because of the amount of pressure that the debt were causing. The only other person near Denji was the landowner that wasn't there out of sorrow, but to make sure Denji doesn't forget to pay him.

''If you don't make this month payment, we will sting you up. I don't care if you beg on the streets, sell your body it doesn't mater you have until tomorrow to get us 7000 grand. If you can't do it, then we will cut you up and sell the pieces. At least you will get to see your useless old man soon.'' Said the landowner.

The man soon drives away, leaving Denji alone in the rain. All sad and with nothing to eat. Also for being quirkless he wouldn't get a job around the area, people with special abilities get hired instantly while the non-powered ones are just shoved aside like garbage.

''So this is it? I am going to die because you were a coward?" Asked Denji to the tombstone.

He didn't know what to do. He could barely write and read, he didn't had any friends or relatives left. He was a nobody that was going to die, and none would care that he left.

''I might as well just wait for him to pick me up tomorrow.'' Said Denji all sad.

He went to a tree to at least get out of the rain for the moment. Maybe he could find any kind of fruit to eat, but he found nothing. However, while sitting on the tree he smell something weird.

''Huh?' Asked him to sniff the air.

He heard also a weird sound and saw something pointy showing up on the other side of the tree.

''Is that a chainsaw?" Asked him confused.

He went to see who had left a chainsaw there, however he was shocked to see it wasn't a chainsaw. It was a dog with a chainsaw in his face.

''A dog with a chainsaw?' Asked Denji confused.

He saw the creature and though it was one of those weird animals with quirks. They were quite rare and very dangerous.

''Please, just kill me. I am dead either way.'' Said Denji all sad.

He then heard some yip sounds and saw that the dog had some cuts in his stomach.

''A wound? you are going to die too?' Asked Denji.

The dog just look so sad and full of pain. Even in this horrible situation, Denji knew how to take care of someone.

''Come on! I got you!'' Said him taking the dog to his ´´home´´.

His home was just a space shack that had supplies and other crap. It didn't had a bed, he slept in some boxes that served for his back. He soon took out a part of his shirt and used as a bandage.

''Here this should do it.'' Said him patching the dog.

The started to feel better, but it keep yapping and looked a bit hungry.

''You are hungry? Me too. I don't have anything here I am sorry.'' Said Denji

The dog kept looking to a cut that was in his arm, it was bleeding, and he could tell what the dog was in the mood for.

''Oh you want my blood?" Asked Denji

The boy soon put his arm next to the dog and he took a big bite out of he wound.

''Ouch!'' Said Denji in pain.

Denji felt his blood being sucked, but with everything going on this was the least troublesome thing in his path.

''You like my blood?" Asked Denji and the dog just bark happy.

Soon an idea popped in his head. A crazy idea.

''This feed you good?" Asked Denji.

''Bark.''

''Look this might sound crazy, but how about we joined forces?'' Asked Denji.

The dog looked at the boy confused.

''What do you think? I have no powers, you have a chainsaw in your face we can work together. I can get money to pay the debt and get food and in return I will feed you my blood. How does that sound?" Asked Denji.

''Bark.''

''Is that a yes?" Asked Denji confused.

The dog soon went towards Denji face and started to licked it.

''What is your name?" Asked Denji.

''Bark.''

Denji didn't know what he was talking so he came up with a name on the spot.

''I am calling you Pochita. Do you like it?" Asked Denji.

Pochita just jumped towards Denji and licked his face.

''I guess this is a yes.'' Said Denji with a smile.

The next day

''Ok, I don't see any money. Get in the car, we are going to sell your organs.'' Said the landowner.

''No wait! I got something that will get me money.'' Said Denji.

''What is it?" Asked the landowner.

He then hold pochita on his arm, much to the old man confusion.

''What is that?' Asked the man.

''I called Pochita. He is a dog with a chainsaw face.'' Said Denji.

''You want to sell it?" Asked the man.

''No! He and I will work together in odd jobs.'' Said Denji.

''What do you mean?" Asked the landowner.

''I heard you need a lumberjack for your wooden areas. Plus dealing ´´other things´´.'' Said Denji.

''Kid you know that even taking this job it would you over 15 years to pay everything.'' Said the man

''Like I have anything else to do in my life.'' Said Denji all serious.

The landowner just took a deep breath and gave his response.

''Ok, you got the job. You start tomorrow at 6 and end at 18. Show up late and you are fired.'' Said the man.

''And the payment?'' Asked Denji.

''Its going to be 60 grand per month. The ´´other jobs´´ vary from 100 to 300 grand.'' Said the old man.

''Will meals be included?" Asked Denji.

''No.'' Said the old man super serious.

The old man I guess out of the little sympathy that he had in him throw an old sandwich to the ground. The sandwich looked old and a bit moldy.

''See you tomorrow.'' Said the old man.

Denji saw the bastard driving off and he desperately went towards the old sandwich. He hadn't eaten in days, anything counted.

''Argh.'' Said Denji almost throwing up.

Denji then saw Pochita looking at him a bit sad, the boy even super hungry tried to share his food.

''Here.'' Said him

The dog just sniffed the sandwich and turned around.

'You prefer my blood? You are pretty odd too.'' Said Denji with a smile.

The two soon went to their shack in order to get some rest.

''Well let's get some sleep. We are going to wake up soon every day.'' Said Denji.

The two went to sleep to start their new life together.

This is the start of a great story. Yes, someone is watching them and it's going to play also in this hero world.

So yes, right now Denji has no idea that Pochita is a devil. The hero world doesn't know about the existence of devils, they would probably think it's just a quirk thing. Since quirk can pass out for so many things around this age.

Denji will meet up with everyone later, right now we still have a ton of stuff to do before he goes to UA. Thank you all.
