After defeating Shadow Moth and Chat Noir who betrayed her to join up with Shadow Moth, Ladybug took the Butterfly and the Cat Miraculous off Shadow Moth and Chat Noir revealing to the world who they were and they were Gabriel Agreste and Adrien Agreste so the police came over and arrested, while the media came over to interview Ladybug.
"Ladybug what are you going to do now that you have defeated Shadow Moth and your ex-partner?" Clara asked
"The Peacock Miraculous is still missing and I highly believe whoever has it possibly fled the country with it so I don't find it and take it from them." Ladybug said
"So what will you be doing now? Will you stay in Paris or go somewhere else?" Clara asked
"Paris is too hot to have the Miraculous in the city so I'm going to leave Paris and find the Peacock Miraculous but in the future, you will see me again when I'm on the news with the Peacock Miraculous in my possession again or I have joined a superhero team so they can help me find the Peacock Miraculous." Ladybug said
"So where will you be going?" Clara asked
"Somewhere peaceful so I can finally relax and not have to worry about any akuma attacks." Ladybug said
"Thank you for your time Ladybug I'll let you leave now." Clara said as Ladybug grappled away back to her home where she de-transformed and she started to cry after so many years of holding her emotions back so she doesn't get akumatized then she rolled over onto her back with a teary smile
This nightmare is finally over, I can finally relax for once. Marinette said but the Kwamis had a look on their faces
Marinette the Peacock Miraculous is still out there so the nightmare may be over for all of Paris but not for you I'm sorry. Wayzz said
I know the Peacock Miraculous is still missing but let me enjoy this victory first before I change my looks and go to America. Marinette said
With Lila
After picking up the Peacock Miraculous that flew down from the Eiffel Tower, Lila quickly went home to pack her bags and she changed her looks then she headed to the airport where she brought a one-way ticket to America and when she boarded the plane she smiled in glee as she was about to use the Miraculous for evil and her rein of terror would began.
When the plane landed in America she saw she was in the hometown of the Teen Titans so she knew she had to be careful not to be seen by the heroes yet, so Lila went to an abandoned warehouse that she would use as her evil villain lair so for the next 5 months she has fixed it up to look like a proper evil lair then for the next 6 months she trained using the Miraculous for evil
While during those 11 months, Lila was in Jump City Marinette was staying in an apartment in Bludhaven during her regular Guardian exercise like meditating, reading the grimoire, and practicing her magic powers so she can be stronger than after staying in Bludhaven for 11 months, Marinette traveled around America for a year training, learning new skills and finding lost Miraculous so when she arrived in Jump city she brought herself an apartment and she looked out the city and saw the Teen Titans tower in the distance then she heard a thump and saw a monster rampaging through the city then she saw the Teen Titans arriving and starting to fight the monster
"Marinette you should go and up the heroes." Tikki said
"This isn't my fight Tikki since this isn't Miraculous related and Ladybug has fully retired." Marinette said
With the Teen Titans
The Titans were losing badly to the monster until it stopped attacking then something happened as it retreated back to where it came from
"What the fuck was that?" Beast Boy asked
"Normally they would finish us off but not this one it retreated when we were close to being defeated." Starfire said
"We should go back to base and scan whatever that was." Robin said as his team nodded their heads then they went back to base where they stood in front of their computer as it scanned the monster and after it was done it showed it's results
"It says that the monster was magically made but by what?" Cyborg said then the alarm went off and saw Jump city national bank being robbed so they went into action and landed in front of the bank where they saw someone in a Peacock outfit robbing the bank
"You come out peacefully and put your hands up." Starfire said as her hands glowed green then the person turned around saw a brooch on her chest
"Hello, heroes I am Monarch and you'll going to see me attacking this city very often and surrounding isn't on my to-do list so goodbye." Monarch said as she vanished from their sight which caused them to go on the defensive but when they didn't get attacked they calmed down
"I felt something magical coming off from that girl but I don't know what that is." Raven said
"I know what you are talking about Raven but we should go back to the tower to investigate." Robin said as they went back to their tower again where they all sat on the couch
"Ok Damiean tell us how you what Raven was talking about?" Cyborg said
"That brooch she was wearing was a Miraculous that the League of Assians have been after for a very long time." Dameion said
"How did you know that was a Miraculous she was wearing?" Raven asked
"Because I'm betrod to their princess of the Miraculous and if I'm right should be the next Guardian Miraculous." Robin said
"Where can we find this Guardian?" Starfire said
"We should run a scan to pick up the Miraculous energy to find the Guardian." Cyborg said
"Do it Cyborg run the scan." Robin said which made Cyborg nod his head then he ran the scan on Miraculous magic energy until it showed them where it is and saw it was at an apartment right in Jump City
"So the Guardian have been in our city." Cyborg said
"Let's pay this Guardian a visit." Robin said as they all left the Tower and went to where Marinette was living and when they knocked on her door, Marinette opened it up and saw the Titans standing in front of her
"What are you guys doing here don't you have a city to protect?" Marinette asked
"We are here for the Guardian." Robin said
"Why do you need the Guardian's help since one of their enemies is here in the room." Marinette said as she stares at Robin
"Because we need to talk to the Guardian about something." Starfire said
"You guys are looking at her and for your help is no since I'm retired from being a hero after what happened in Paris." Marinette said
"What if we tell you that the Peacock Miraculous is here in this city?" Robin said which caused Marinette to stop what she was doing and stared at them
"Keep talking." Marinette said
"Early today we ran into someone who was using the Miraculous to rob the bank and then she just vanished out of sight." Cyborg said
"Seem like whoever is using it is creating Senti-monster of the defeated akumas I faced over the years." Marinette said
"So you were the hero Ladybug." Robin said
"And like I told you guys I retired Ladybug after what happened in Paris." Marinette said
"What is stopping you from being a hero again?" Starfire asked
"You want to know what's stopping me from being Ladybug again." Marinette said as they nodded their heads
"It was the trauma and PTSD from every akuma fight I saw people getting killed in different ways, seeing the world end multiple times and the stress from it all was what made me quit being Ladybug." Marinette said with tears in her eyes then she said the last thing to them
"And the other reason why I stopped being Ladybug was because my partner betrayed me to the enemy who was trying to get our Miraculous that's why I stopped being a hero." Marinette said
"You know you can trust us right. Star fire said
"I can trust all of you but not him since he's part of the league that has been after me all the time." Marinette said as she glared at Damian
"Marinette, Damian isn't part of the League of Assassins anymore he doesn't even talk to his mother or grandfather at all." Starfire said as Marinette sighed
"I'm sorry if I thought the worst of you Damian it's just what I learned when I heard about the Guardian's enemy." Marinette said
"It's alright whenever people see me they get afraid due to my mother's and grandfather's reputation." Damian said
"So does that make you the heir of the demon head?" Marinette asked
"Yeah and are you not the princess of the Miraculous?" Damian asked which made Marinette nodded her head then they both gasp as their eyes widened in shock
"That means I'm your betrothed." Marinette and Damien said together then Plagg appeared
What's going on out here? Plagg asked then he saw someone who is his true holder but he didn't like who it was
"Pigtails why is the heir to the Demon head doing here." Plagg said
"Plagg what are you doing out of the miracle box shouldn't you still be recovering after what Adrien did to you?" Marinette asked
"I was until I felt someone with the true soul of destruction that's why I came out." Plagg said
"Who is the true holder of your Miraculous Plagg?" Marinette asked
"Him." Plagg said pointing at Robin
"I see then I would like to join your team and if what you said is true that the Peacock Miraculous has been activated in this city then I'll bring Ladybug out of retirement that also means I would like my own room since I can't bring the Kwami's out of the miracle box without them causing trouble and there are spells I like to experiment on which I can't do here as well." Marinette said as the Titans looked at each other
"Marinette would it be alright if I discussed this with our team?" Starfire asked
"Yeah, it would be alright which would give me time to pack my stuff." Marinette said as she walks out of the room and into her bedroom where she stood in front of the miracle box then her hands started to shake as every bad memory started to play through her mind from her past but it made her more determined to get the Peacock Miraculous back so she used her magic to pack everything away and when she was done she picked her bag then she walked back to the lounge just to see the Titans finishing up what they were discussing
"We have made our decision and we would like you to join our team." Starfire said
"Thanks, guys and I promise I won't cause any trouble but I can't say the same about the kwamis through. Marinette said as she thought about what mischief Trixx and Xupuu can get up to.
The Titans and Marinette both exited the apartment then they walked downstairs where the Titancar was parked in front of the building they entered the car and Cyborg drove them to the Titans tower, Marinette was surprised at the size of it
"It looked small from the distance but up close it looks large." Marinette said then the car entered the garage then they got out and entered the lift which took them up to where the lounge was and Marinette was in shock by the inside of the building
"Let me show you to your bedroom before we give you the grand tour." Starfire said as she walked down a long corridor where it revealed the bedrooms the Titans sleep then they walked to the end where they came across an empty bedroom
"This will be your bedroom when you stay here so decorate it as you like and you can add a logo on the door, so you know what your door is." Starfire said as Marinette used her magic to create the guardian logo on the door then she walked in where Marinette put her bag down then she opened it up as all her stuff went into its places and when it was done she smiled and nodded in approvement then she walked over to where the miracle box was hidden and she let them out
"Alright, you guys be good since we are living with the Teen Titans so no mischief, especially you two Trixx, and Xuppu." Marinette said as she glared at the two Kwami's who was silently giggling at what mischief they could do which made Marinette shook her head with a smile then she walked out of her bedroom with Tikki on her shoulder then she sat down on the couch to where she used her magic to create a Laptop that she would record her battles on the Starfire came in and sat next to her
"What are you going Marientte?" Starfire asked
"I'm creating a diary of my fights so I can see what I can improve on since I'm possibly rusty after not being a hero for over a year and a half." Marinette said
"Still want to take the grand tour." Starfire said
"Sure, I want to know where things are in the tower." Marinette said as they both stood up from the couch then Starfire showed Marinette around the tower showing her the kitchen, bathroom, training room, game room, gym, cinema room, and other rooms
After Starfire showed Marinette the entire tower it was dinner time, so they walked into the kitchen where they were having tea, so they sat down and enjoyed their time
"If you guys hear anything coming from my room, please ignore it since I could be practicing my magic or creating different stuff." Marinette said as they nodded their heads then when they finished their tea, they went their separate ways. Marinette went to her bedroom where she stared outside at the setting sun
"Wherever you are Duusu I will find you and I'll kill whoever is abusing you." Marinette said as her eyes flashed red for a second which the kwamis saw and were afraid of who was going to come out in the future.
