After what had happened

"Geez, are you on a Sunday morning drive? Move it, grandpa!" Lynn yelled out, wiping the sweat off her forehead.

The two found themselves lost in the southern decentralized suburban. Or as they're nerdy little egghead sister dated it, street name: Downtown. After a blowout with their family, they both left their home in a heated storm. Or if Lynn grabbing Lincoln by the arm and telling her family to suck his nuts was how it really transpired. The further they went down the less population and housing they saw. They had no money, no food, and their clothing wasn't in the best results. Especially after getting tackled by that junkyard dog after walking near a steakhouse...

"Oh, hardy har, you get that one because of my white hair, miss Kathy Griffin?" Lincoln dryly said, with his exhausted pants becoming very audible.

Lynn's tolerance level was never very high, in fact you could say it was as low as the time she outed her brother for bad luck once, though that's something she would rather forget. But every time she's put on the spotlight, her gears start to grind, forming sparks that fly right into the person she's offering a powerful rebuttal to. And that certain somebody was almost always the only adolescent boy growing up in the family.

"I know I would've gotten our last earnings back, instead of wasting them to some panhandler that smelt like it fell victim to my classic Dutch ovens!"

"Hey, it was only 2 dollars and what better that would've done for the both of us?"

It would've been enough to save us a bus trip without walking several miles across downtown!" Lynn shot back, with her face turning red and her pupils turning bright red.

Lincolns always built an immunity towards Lynn's temper and her outbursts. In fact, he's been the most victimized towards them. Whether that would've been the time he used Lynn's bike behind her back and lost it or the time he showed that video of Margo kicking that goal that made Lynn pop a soccer ball herself. All in all, being at the hands of a fiery inferno volcano setting off in Maui is like being at the center of Lynn's anger and her vein was pulsating.

She marched right over to him like an angry English marine about to make Wilhelm Keitel and the team of Nazism surrender as a whole. He didn't even feel himself quake, given he's built-up years' worth of this sort of Lynn sanity as he called it. But he was ready and could feel how sore his face was going to be... All he could remember was all the frozen veggies being completely thawed by the time the swelling went down with how many balls he took to the face. He waited and waited, but heard a low, defeated sigh. She lowered her fist and there was nothing else she did. She didn't even mutter a "Stinkin" out of irritation.

*sigh* "Look, arguing with you ain't gonna get us home or on a bus, like I had hoped..."

"But you said that we had to flee home and not turn back-

"I GET WHAT I SAID!"

Lincoln gulped and squeaked, trying to not anger his beloved anymore. Lynn snapped back for a second and realized what she was doing. She sighed and felt her face soften up this time.

"S-Sorry, I'm really bad at simmering this stupid temper spasm. I've been trying to take these stupid meds all day! B-but.."

"No water to wash it down, eh?"

Lynn could only nod her head forlornly, trying not to look up at her brother's soft, concerned face. Despite the love she had for him, she still couldn't let her brother see her so submissive. It was something she didn't want him or anyone to see. She was always one to act strong and not let the sadness overcloud her system. It was a burden that she wouldn't want to let in.

Lynn could never understand how anyone like Lincoln could face so much flack, but always remain the same. Not letting any sort of negative emotion ruin him or his sanity. Always moving on, never purposely picking fights, and just being so helpful and understanding. Despite the predicament they were in, she wouldn't wanna spend it better with anyone else in the planet. And that was against some stiff competition, like Tom Brady or Michael Jordan or David Pasternak- Ok, now she's losing her sanity and she found herself drooling..

Lincoln finally snapped her out of her daze, snapping his fingers. Calling out "Lynn!" and "Lynn!" Then finally-

"LYNN!" He snapped!

Lynn then snapped herself back into place with her eyes wide, until initially remembering where she was and what she was doing. She giggled awkwardly, with Lincoln only shaking his head. "Something's never changed", he said to himself.

"Look, to make you feel better and to help your "side effects". I'll get you some water at a local gas station. How does that sound?"

"Fine.. Just fine. Thanks Stink- I MEAN Lincoln! Heh heh.." Lynn said, only slapping herself in the head mentally.

Lincoln rolled his eyes with a playful smirk and the two set off, but he heard Lynn speak again.

"Hey, Linc? You know I love you, right?"

Lincoln smiled.

"Of course, I do, Lynn. I love you more than God could give to us all. And I promise you we'll be fine. We'll stick it out, like a team? I'm sure the team captain let us down?"

"SIR NO SIR!" Lynn smiled as the two giggled.

They both shared a hug and as they hugged, they locked eyes. Their eye sparkled as they could feel their pupils interlocking and dancing with one another. Their breathing subtracted as it became much deeper as they were immersed at the sight. That shiny white hair, she said. Those beautiful lips and freckles, he said.

Then, they felt their lips touch ever so softly. They kissed passionately, as Lynn groped Lincoln's broad shoulders, and Lincoln groped Lynn's curved hips. They felt their tongues getting on top of each other like it was settling a new thumb wrestling champion. They were both lost in a daydream they didn't want to escape. If this is what cloud nine was, they never wanted to jump off of it. They finally broke free and saw the long, stringy trail of saliva left from their kiss. They stood there motionless and smiled. And they both shared this one sentence.

"Your my kind of player.." They said softly.

Whoo! And just like that, I'm back! I'm back! I'm really really back! Sorry for the shitty reference, but I've been really wanting to cook with this one for a long time now. And i've finally gotten to planning the blueprint of it down! Now I decided to do this part first, since I wanted to get a feel of what's happening now (that might seem depressing), to what happens at the start, which seems a lot different in comparison. There's also gonna be some explaining on some unresolved questions. Like Lynn and Linc being on the lam, Lynn's anger meds, and of course their forbidden loooove. Hopefully me rattling on about this starts to clear anything up and what I have planned for this sweet born child. Also, if you have anything to say about open constructive criticism on my work or anything else. Feel free to let your boy know! :) Have a great night.
