It had been about a week or so since the threat of the Cyber Collision passsed, and IN-Fn8t and the End were defeated. The Hero alliance had split off to continue their normal lives, and do whatever they could do to defend the worlds. While the Dimensional Heroes were heading off to track down Theodore Flux… that mostly left The Shining Hope squad in flower town, doing their own thing. Mainly recapping the cyber collision adventure to Rutega, who revealed something very interesting…
"No WAY! So Siege went to the Starfall Islands in his dimension too?!" Flamberge asked the female Saiyan. "And it happened after he won the PLT?!"
"That's what he told me! Yeah, it was a wild ride for him. But, in the end, his Richard pulled what we call a Deus Ex Machina and warped away The End!" Rutega explained.
"So he took out the end too. We sorta… blew it an IN-Fn8t up. Well, Sage did, but we made sure she survived." Flamberge said.
"Oh, good. We made sure our Sage survived too. Matter of fact, she and Eggman actually saved the life of one of our friends who died in those events." Rutega recollected.
"Eggman, doing good in your dimension? Thats a first." Glimmer said.
"You'd be surprised what happens when you save the daughter of a father figure." Rutega chuckled. "So, are you guys off to clean up The End fragments? I can give both the Sieges a call to see if they'll send some help." Rutega offered.
"Oh, you heard about that mission?" Flamebrge asked. "Yeah, hopes worried about that. Even though we blasted the End to Pieces and IN-Fn8ts deleted for good, hes wondering if any of those falling stars were shards of The ends true form. So hes sending us on cleanup duty. Lot of the team members got sent out in pairs to other universes."
"Well, I'll ring up the Sieges. Heavens know that they'll-" Rutega was about to finish.
"Nah, we got this. It's just a regular cleanup. We don't have to contact Siege for that. Besides, we can call you if things get dicey. You're one of Sieges best fighters." Flamberge said. "If we relied on others for help all the time, we wouldn't be able to do anything, yknow?"
"I get it. But the minute you see something off, give me a call and I'll ring up Siege, either one." Rutega offered. "Keep me in touch is all I ask. And Opherla too."
"Got it. The others know to call you if things get dicey too." Flamberge said. "Anway, my partner should be here any second now and-"
The door flung open, revealing a person flamberge least expected to be her partner.
"Ready to conduct extensive field research! Oh, and clean up End Fragments too!" Entrapta declared.
The bringer of flames eyes widened. "Entrapta? Youre who i got paired up with?"
"Thats right! And let me say, this is the best example of a social experiment ive ever been a part of!" Entrapta said with a smile.
"Well, sounds like you're gonna be having fun." Rutega laughed.
"Yeah, lucky me." Flamberge sighed. "Have you found out where were going, Entrapta?"
"To the Beast Universe, of course. The two of us will be looking around to see if the Ends Shards made their way there." Entrapta said.
"That sounds like fun. Are we going any place familiar?" Flamberge asked.
"Depends? Does the name "Perim" ring a bell?" the scientist princess asked.
"Perim? Dont think ive heard that one. You've heard of it, Rutega?" Flamberge asked of the Saiyan.
"Nope. You'd have to call the boss to see if he knows. Siege has been to a lot of places, after all." Rutega shrugged.
"Guess we're going in blind." Flamberge said. "Well, we arent gonna get anywhere standing here. Lets go, Entrapta."
"Im so excited…!" Entrapta said as they headed out.
"See ya later, Rutega! We'll call you if things get to hot for even me to handle!" Flamberge assured.
"You got this guys!" Rutega encouraged as she waved them off.

Location: The Forest of Life

"Are you all ready for your first patrol, General?" A proud voice spoke up as two tiger women could be seen conversing, a fully furred tiger woman with brown and amber hair and green eyes, dressed in a simple x shaped top covering her breasts and a loin cloth covering her thighs, speaking to a woman who was about as clothed as she was, a woman wearing black and red arm and leg armor, while only wearing a red top and a black set of leggings.
"I'm ready, Intress. It's an honor to be serving Overworld as its new General." The black tiger spoke with a prideful tone to her voice. "It's only thanks to you saving me that brought me here."
"No, Kathlaa. You were given this position for saving me. And… maybe some bias on my end for swaying Takinom a bit." The tiger woman apparently named Intress admitted.
"Is it true that you two are actually sisters?" The tiger woman apparently named Kathlaa asked.
"Most don't know, but yes, we are sisters… but promise you won't spread that. Overworlders will start housing rumors if it got around I was blood related to an Underworlder." "Intress" replied.
"Very well. I'm off to patrol! See you this evening, Intress!" "Kathlaa" smiled as she headed off into the Forest of Life.
"Of course!" "Intress" called back as she waved, soon heading back towards a city in the distance.
Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, Flamberge and Entrapta were walking through the forest, the hot headed fire mage finding it difficult to navigate through all the lush greenery growing everywhere.
"Argh, this is impossible! Theres no end to this forest!" Flamberge said. "If you were gonna land in a forest like this, why didnt you ask for Perfuma to come with you?"
"I needed a fighter, Not a hugger. Although now that i think about it, Perfuma would be a better choice…" Entrapta said.
"So i was your first choice because you needed some muscle while you handle the brainy stuff?!" Flamberge asked. "Argh, this SUCKS!" flamberge said, getting so mad she accidentally blasted a fireball at a nearby large tree and hit it directly, causing a bit of a blast that set half of it on fire.
"Oooh…" Entrapta winced.
"Oh, crapbaskets…!" Flamberge said. "Quick, help me puth this out before-!"
A high pitched tiger growl rang out through the air, as suddenly, Flamberge was tackled down, eventually coming to a stop as she was pinned down by a fierce looking tiger woman, having little room for imagination given her clothing choice, with black and red arm and leg armor, finished with a red bra and black set of short shorts, as she had fierce red eyes, long black hair and tiger features. She was around 7 foot in height, and given how well she was pinning Flamberge? About 215 pounds.
"Underworlder! What is the meaning of you barging into our territory and setting fire to the Forest of Life!?" The woman yelled fiercely, suddenly procuring a hidden sword from the armor slot in her left leg armor. "Tell! Or else!" She yelled, holding it to Flamberge's neck.
"Underworlder? Whatre you talking about, im not-!" Flamberge said, before seeing her handiwork. "It was an accident, i swear! I didnt mean to burn that tree, i just got a little too angry!"
"Angry!? ANGRY!? You want to talk about angry!? I'M ANGRY!" The tiger woman yelled, pressing the blade against Flamberge's neck as blood trickled from it. "SO EXPLAIN!"
"Ack… entrapta, a little help here…?" Flamberge asked.
"Nope, im staying away from the deadly tiger lady!" Entrapta said.
"Start talking, Underworlder! Or do I need to take you to a trial before Maxxor!?" The tiger woman snarled.
Entrapta then got an idea. "This… "Maxxor", is he your leader?"
"He's more than just our leader, he's the Overworld's greatest champion! He's the greatest warrior to ever walk the Overworld! Beg for a trial, and I guarantee fairness. For your life's sake, I suggest you start begging now, or I'll start slitting your throats." The tiger woman snarled.
"Don't do anything stupid, entrapta! Just be you!" Flamberge said.
Entrapta then thought about it for a bit, before she raised her hands (and hair) in surrender, manipulating her hair so that flamberged had her arms up to. "We Surrender! Take us to your leader!"
The very gesture caused the tiger woman to shake her head in shock, having never seen something quite like… what Entrapta just did. Regaining composure, she quickly grabbed them both, and took them to a city in the distance.
Flamberge and Entrapta whoa'd at the city as they got close. It was a giant walled metropolis, glistening in the sunlight.
"Welcome to Kiru City, prisoners. May Maxxor be graceful in your trial to see its true glory." The tiger woman spoke with a snarl.
Kiru City
Overworld Location
Initiative: Wisdom
Overworld creatures have an aditonnal 10 energy.
"The majestic Capital of the overworlders is named in memory of one of its greatest leaders."
Suddenly, the trio was joined by yet another tiger woman, who was barely dressed, having only an x shaped top covering her breasts, and a loincloth for her thighs. She too was around 7 foot, and just about as built as her tiger companion.
"Oh, found some scoundrels on your first patrol, have you Kathlaa?" The tiger woman in question snickered.
"Underworlders at a glance, but I'm unsure of their origins. What I do know: One attempted to set ablaze the Forest of Life." Kathlaa said with a snarl. "I'm taking them to Maxxor, Intress."
"Accident! Totally an accident!" Flambegre intervened.
"Underworlders don't do 'accidents'." Intress snarled. "Maxxor and his advisors, myself included, will see you for your true intentions."
"Would you go alert him for me, Intress?" Kathlaa asked.
"Of course. I'll have the council prepared too." Intress nodded, soon rushing on ahead.
"Compared to her, our captor seems more human…" Entrapta noted, noting that Kathlaa was not fully feline compared to Intress. In fact, her body had the shape and figure of a human, with ears and tail of a tiger. She was obviously athletic, well evidenced by her toned abs. And her chest would make any avid enthusiast the two of them knew go nuts with lust, being sized at around DD to potentially E. She had no shoes on, giving away to some bare human feet, which contrasted to Intress' clawed and furred feet.
"Silence! Keep walking." Kathlaa demanded.
Surely enough, the trio was before a gathered council from within a room of what appeared to be the main hall and hub of the city, as gathered together was a group of five judges looking to cast judgment. One was Intress herself, standing on the far left of the central ogre in the middle. On the far right was a lion maned man, his top consisting of only a single strapped on shoulder plate covering his left shoulder, a pair of blue pants, and that was all the full furred lion wore. Directly on the ogres left was a smaller green skinned man seeming to be like an alien in appearance, wearing blue sage's robes and having a VERY analytical expression upon his face as he gazed upon the group. On the right of the ogre, an older, seemingly almost human sage with a long white beard, long blue hat, and long blue robes. And of course, the center housed an ogre dressed in red clothing, with his arms folded.
"(whoa… that green guy witht the Super Sayain hairs gotta be Maxxor!)" FLamberge thought, seeing the red dressed ogre for herself, and how indibinating he was. "(Wow, is he something! I can tell just by looking that hes crazy strong!)"
"Maxxor! I assume Intress has filled you in?" Kathlaa asked.
"She has. You have suspected Underworlders, though unsure if they are, who have attempted to set ablaze the Forest of Life. Is that correct?" Maxxor asked.
"Correct. And… as i had the perpetrator pinned down, her associate did something I would never expect an Underworlder to do. They surrendered." Kathlaa explained.
"Underworlders? Surrender? Then that immediately throws that accusation out of the window." Maxxor declared. "Underworlders do not surrender, Kathlaa, you know that."
"Apologies sir. That does not, however, absolve their other crime." Kathlaa stated.
"Of course. Prisoners, I will allow you to state your names, affiliations, and intentions for being here, as well as your explanation to the fire in the Forest of Life which is currently being doused." Maxxor demanded.
"Uh…" Flamberge said, gulping. "I meant no harm, Maxxor sir! My name is Flamberge, and I'm known as the Bringer of Flame. Im a member of a team called the Shining Hope Squad! Ridiculous name i know, but we're the good guys!"
"The Shining Hope Squad, you say? What an inspiring name." The old sage chuckled.
"Najarin. Please." Maxxor demanded as the old sage nodded. "Now, for you? Who is your friend? Or may she speak freely?"
"Greetings, your great overworldly ness! Im Entrapta, Princess of the Kingdom of Dryl in a land called Etheria."
"You, a princess? With that getup you're wearing? Pah, I'd sooner say you were some sort of mad woman!" The smaller green man scoffed.
"Bodal." Maxxor snarled as the green man cleared his throat.
"I'm a scientist as well as a princess." Entrapta explained. "I specialize in machines mostly. I build my own robots! I could show you if i could."
"That description fits you better. More believable than a princess." The lion spoke with a nod.
"Tangath." Maxxor sighed. "May we all hold our peace until our prisoners have properly stated their defense?"
"Yes, Maxxor." Tangath Toborn nodded.
"My apologies. Please, continue." Maxxor declared.
"Its okay. We should say sorry about being the ones that seemed like we were causing trouble." Flamberge said. "We got a little lost in that forest back there, and i got a little upset because we couldnt make heads or tails of the place. And…I got a little too fired up and accidentally hit a tree with a fireball."
"So you are foreigners then?" Maxxor asked. "...Are you two players of Chaotic?"
"If i may Maxxor." Najarin said. "These two do not look like Chaotic Players. Their clothes suggest they are not from the same place the humans we are familiar with come from."
"Astute observation, Najarin, I agree." Bodal remarked with a stroke of his chin.
"Well if that is the case I find no fault in these accusations then. All in favor?" Maxxor asked.
"I." The council resounded in unison.
"Please, make yourselves at home here in Kiru City, our new friends." Maxxor warmly smiled. "And if you wish to explore the forest again, do not hesitate to ask for a guide."
"We might just do that, sir. We came here to your land because we were looking for something of great importance to us." Flamberge nodded. "I'll explain…"
Flamberge, from there, told Maxxor the whole story. She and Entrapta came to this new land they werent familiar with, which Maxxor told them was Perim, because they were on a cleanup assignment. They were instructed to come to Perim to look for fallen shards of a all powerful entity they had fought back where they came from, called The End. Maxxor was concerned when Entrapta casually and almost joyfully pointed out that the End was an omnipotent being who has destroyed countless worlds in the past, but when Flamberge assured that they blasted it to pieces, the council and Kathlaa took a collective sigh of relief. Only to tense up again when Flamberge explained that some pieces may have landed in Perim.
"Well, if your mission is to take care of these pieces then by all means, we shall aid you in your efforts. We cannot spare much, but perhaps Intress and Kathlaa will guide you two through the Forest of Life to begin your search?" Maxxor suggested.
"Oh, thatd be perfect! Kathlaa especially, i could tell she was very strong!" Entrapta said.
"Entraptas right. Not a lot of people could get the jump on me so easily. Im pretty tough despite my looks." Flambrrge admitted.
"Very well. Intress? Kathlaa?" Maxxor would ask.
"Of course, Maxxor." Intress nodded.
"Right away, Maxxor!" Kathlaa smiled. "Sorry for uh… the nick." Kathlaa apologizes to Flamberge, pointing to the small mark on her neck.
"Ah, it'll heal right up. But seriously, you're tough. I've been around a lot of strong people to know how powerful someone is, and youre tough, seriously! You almost made me lose my breath!" Flamberge said.
Maxxor smiled. "Kathlaa may be a youngling to the ranks, but her tenacity, power, and surviving Underworld's clutches makes her a very viable friend." Maxxor proudly declared. "I'm proud to call her my General."
"Oh, Maxxor…" Kathlaa spoke with a heartfelt smile.
"Now, go. I wish you all well on your task. May the watchers of Overworld guide your way." Maxxor smiled.
Outside the great hall…
Flamberge sighed a relief. "I thought i was done for…! Did you see all those guys on the council?"
"I sure did. Excluding the little green one, all three of them could've killed you in lots of different ways." Entrapta smiled.
"You dont have to say it while smiling…" Flamberge sweatdropped. "That Maxxor guy was definitely one of the strongest one the room! The way he was talking before he smiled… its like… well it was like he was a more serious version of Goku!"
"I know! He even had the hair to match!" Entrapta smiled.
"So, you two are here to help defend Perim in a way? I do apologize we misjudged you, but I can see where you can easily become lost in the Forest of Life. And it can get infuriating." Kathlaa nodded.
"Says the kitten who got lost fifteen times in one week." Intress snickered.
"Heyyy!" Kathlaa pouted. "You didn't have to tell them that!"
"Compared to before, the feline known as Kathlaa sounds like an entirely different person…" Entrapta studied out loud. "Hard to believe just a few minutes ago, she was ferocious, serious and full of bloodlust…"
"Are you… Studying us?" Intress asked.
"Yeah, its… kind of her thing…" Flamberge sighed.
"Oh, I don't mind. As long as she gets all good information, no bad, I'm fine with it." Kathlaa smiled. "Now then, shall I show you two my usual patrol route?"
"Sure! And along the way, you can tell us more about Perim!" Entrapta said as they soon excited the city. "In all our times traveling, weve never come across a place like this!"
"Where do you hail from, if not Chaotic?" Intress asked.
"Uh… were sort of… wanderers?" Flamberge answered. "(I cant tell them that weve come from way beyond their world because that might cause a lot of trouble. Mutliversal laws and stuff.)" she thought to herself.
"Wait a minute. Najarin said something about you two not being from here. You can't just say "wanderers" without specifying. Wanderers of Perim? Wanderers of worlds? Universes, possibly? C'mon, throw us a theoretical bone here." Kathlaa said.
"Its the latter two." Entrapta answered.
"WHOAAA WHAAAAT. That's. SO…" Kathlaa began to say.
"Entrapta! We dont wanna drop a bombshell like that, we dont know how beings form a world we dont even know will react to-!" Flamberge started to scold.
"COOL!" Kathlaa exclaimed.
"Huh?" they both asked in confusion.
"Najarin always wondered if his theory of Multiversal Existence Of the Cosmos was true or not! Now I can report to him and say he shouldn't drop those studies, ohhhh he's gonna be so happy!" Kathlaa squealed, her tail swaying happily.
"But do not go around saying other worlds exist randomly, Kathlaa." Intress warned. "You know how the other tribes would react to that knowledge."
"I know, I know. I'll only tell Naj." Kathlaa promised.
"Other tribes? Its not just yours?" Entrapta asked, her interest piqued.
"Well… Do you guys have time? This is a long story." Kathlaa would state.
"All the time in the world. We just got here." Flamberge said. "And… im kinda interested too."
"Then buckle up. Intress and I are going to take you on a crash course of our beautiful world of Perim!" Kathlaa declared.
Author's Notes:
Siege: Wassup peeps! Yeah, Chaotic? Heard of it? No? Well, you're about to! The moment I found out Hope was also a Chaotic enthusiast like myself, I couldn't help but contact him and get this going! We might be testing the waters, but trust me, we're gonna make this one HECK of an adventure! So stay tuned for it!
Hope: It wont be to Epic of an Adventure, just some clean up. But this does take place in between the Cyber Collision Saga and the Current Engage Saga. Hope you all enjoy what we have.
