as the red haired pirates get ready to leave dawn island. Their captain "red hair" Shanks. Is with his good friend, monkey D Luffy.

is it true?. Your leaving, and never coming back? Asked young 7 year old Luffy.

it's been a long time coming. Might as well find a new base of operations said Shanks with a calm smile.

I've decided not to be a pirate anymore. Instead I think I'll join the marine, like my grandpa said Luffy.

after the red haired pirates left. Luffy began his training with his grandfather tomorrow.

as time went on, Luffy got stronger and stronger. Both with his rubber body. And his mind.

as time went on Luffy learned to use four forms of Rokushiki.

Iron body. Paper arts. Soru. And geppo.

he even learned the three forms of haki at age 14.

as time went on. Luffy eventually turned 17.

Luffy got a note from his grandfather before he left today. He began to read it.

dear Luffy. You have been nominated for the rank of marine warrant officer. Your first mission as warrant officer, is to check out one of the marine bases here in the east blue. The one your heading to, will be shells town. Good luck Luffy. Don't mess up ya hear, or it's a fist of love for ya.

Luffy sets sail for shells town.

just like that Luffy began to set to his first mission.
