"You want me and Seth to feud again?" Dean asked.
"Yes," Hunter answered.
"But we've already been feuding like a million times," Dean said.
"And the fans love it everytime," Hunter said.
"Come on, Dean. You know we're gonna tear the house down once again," Seth said.
"Alright, if you say so," Dean nodded. "I'm just saying it's been done to death already, but let's do it again."
"That's the spirit," Hunter chuckled. "You can leave now."

Dean and Seth got up and walked out of Hunter's office.

"It's gonna be great as always," Seth said. "And of course I'll win."
"Of course you will," Dean kept his anger in check. "Don't you ever get tired of being Vince's pet?"
"I got everything I want. Fame, money," Seth smirked. "The girl."
"So you licked his ass to get to the top," Dean said. "Good job."
"You sound jealous," Seth said.
"And you sound like an idiot," Dean said.
"Come on! Aren't you over that silly, little crush yet? It's been years, Dean. She chose me," Seth said.

Dean took a step closer and sneered at Seth.

"Did she, Seth? Did she really choose you or was she forced to by Vince?" Dean asked.

Dean could see the anger in Seth's eyes. Clearly Dean had hit a soft spot.

"Get out of my way!" Seth growled.

Seth pushed Dean aside and stomped down the hallway. Dean sighed at his own stupidity. He should never have said what he had just said. He could only hope Seth didn't know the full truth about why Jaya was with him. He walked in the opposite direction and found Roman in catering.

"You don't look too good," Roman said.
"I fucked up," Dean said.
"Wanna talk about it?" Roman asked.
"They want me and Seth to feud again, and it just came out," Dean said.
"What did you tell him?" Roman asked.
"It just sort of flew out of my mouth that I know Vince forced Jaya to date him," Dean sighed. "Fuck! I fucked up, Roman. Why can't I keep my big mouth shut?"
"Take a deep breath and calm down," Roman said. "It was just a lucky guess. Something you spat out in anger that you had no idea about being true. He can't prove anything. Keep it together. You two know how to push each other's buttons after years together. It was just that. You pushing the right button to piss him off. Nothing more."

Dean nodded and walked over to the coffee machine. He poured himself a cappuccino and turned to look at Roman again.

"I need to be alone right now," Dean said.
"I understand," Roman said.
"I'll find you later," Dean said.

Dean walked out of catering and started walking down the hallways. He had no idea where he was going. He just kept walking back and forward around the place for several minutes while his coffee slowly got cold. He turned a corner and collided with Jaya. His coffee spilled down his shirt and was just another thing to make this day a bad day.

"What the fuck did you do?" She hissed.

He looked up from his stained shirt and into her angry eyes.

"Huh?" He asked.
"Seth just came into our locker room screaming about you bugging our car and Vince's office to listen in on private conversations," she said.
"That's what he thinks I'm doing?" He chuckled. "Guess we're still in the clear."

He leaned down to kiss her but she put her hand up and stepped around him.

"Get your shit together!" She growled. "We're in a public place. I don't know what exactly you said to him but we need to lay low right now. He can't see us together."
"But..." He tried.

She walked past him and he was left in a puddle of cappuccino with a stained shirt and a hurting heart. He knew he had messed up but at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been. It was still bad enough. She was angry and not ready to pay him any attention right now. Something he completely understood. She had been honest from the start and played with open cards. She said she couldn't promise him tomorrow and suddenly he wanted nothing more but to hear her make that promise.
