At the same time, Apep was in his pocket dimension watching the city through a portal in the sky, the sun slowly rising in the distance.

"Xena and the others managed to escape me again," said Apep.

"But I've had enough of playing games with them," he said.

"It's time to start my end move so I hope you're all prepared for what's coming," said Apep as his eyes began to glow. Back outside the vault, Gabrielle and the others were surprised when the aura vanished.

"What's happening in there?" asked Kali.

"I have no clue, but it's giving me a terrified feeling," said Callisto.

"I wonder how Apep will feel then," said Xena who suddenly appeared before them as if she teleported like the rest of the Gods had moments ago.

"After all, he'll be the one on the other side of this blade soon enough," she said. In her right hand was a golden Khopesh Sword with a diamond grove in the blade and leather banded handle.

"You actually managed to get it under control," said Gabrielle.

"I did, and there is a lot you all need to hear," said Xena. However, an alarm cut off any further conversation.

"All hands on deck, Apep is attacking the city!" came a voice through the intercom system.

"What is he up to now?!" asked Gabrielle before they all teleported right into the main control area for the base where people were running around everywhere.

"Apep's really done it this time," said Z as she pointed to a monitor which showed human sized snake creatures with arms slithering through the streets of New York City while holding swords.

"This is terrible," said Lina's mom who was standing there hugging her husband as they watched on with horrified expressions.

"Time for secrets is over, we're taking the fight right to Apep now," said Xena while heading for the door.
