Once out on the streets, Xena and the others were fighting the snake creatures.

"These things aren't all that strong," said an angel while shooting a few of the creatures which were heading toward them.

"To normal people they are," said Xena as she cut one in half.

"But what is Apep up to?" asked Gabrielle.

"He's only been going directly after us until now, so why would he attack the city like this all of a sudden," she said before throwing her chakrams which cut the heads off of two creatures before returning to her.

"Maybe he has grown tired of just sitting back and decided a full on attack would be better," said Z.

"You're not too far off by saying that," came Apep's voice from over the city.

"What are you up to, you scaly bastard?" asked Xena while looking at the sky where a giant snake's head stuck out of a portal.

"Come to Central Park alone so we can finish this war just the two of us, Xena," said Apep.

"Like we would agree to that," said Gabrielle.

"Then the whole world will be overrun with my snake soldiers, how long do you think you'll last then when you are already stretched so then?" asked Apep.

"Call off your soldiers and you have a deal," said Xena.

"Wait, you can't be series!" said Gabrielle.

"It had to come to this point some time," said Xena.

"You have a deal, and I'll be seeing you soon, Xena," said Apep before he vanished back into the portal and the snake creatures all went with him.

"Alright, this is too crazy even for you, Xena," said Z.

"You have all of my knowledge yet you don't understand me at all," said Xena before she also vanished.

"What does that mean?" asked Z.

"When Xena takes on a battle, she'll do everything in her power to come out the winner," said Gabrielle who couldn't help but smile.
