Dr. Ashutosh came outside along with Dr. Umesh and after some discussion with each other. He thanked Dr. Umesh with a firm handshake who left after returning a smile. Dr. Ashutosh looked at dou who were looking at him with hope and fear in their eyes. Daya was standing near him while Abhijeet was near the wall behind. He held Daya's shivering hands in his own hands and while looking at Abhijeet said –
ACP Pradyuman is fine.
He stopped for a reaction getting nothing but silence, he again said with an assuring voice and smile on his face –
Tum log jeet gye. Acp sir ko bhut jldi hosh aajayega.
Daya just hugged Dr. Ashutosh and crying in happiness, while Abhijeet slumped on the wall and scream escaped his mouth in relief with tears in his eyes. He closed his eyes and let his tears fall. Today he didn't care about people watching him like this. Ashutosh came near him and gave him a hand to get up which he accepted and got up. Both hugged each other immediately and Abhijeet whispered –
Thankyou Ashu. Tune Acp sir ki hi nhi meri bhi jaan bchali.
Ashutosh just patted his back in assurance and they separated from hug after a while. Ashutosh got a call so he left from there and Abhijeet came near Daya who was near Acp's cabin door and saw him from the glass with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. They both hugged each other with happiness. Daya said –
Hum log jeet gye Boss. Bhut jld Acp sir hmare sath honge, humse baat krenge, frse bureau jayenge.
Abhijeet just nodded in assurance as he was feeling too emotional to speak anything. After a while, Abhijeet went back to God's Idol and thanked God with full heart. Meanwhile Daya went to ask Ashutosh about Acp's health. Abhijeet too joined them. Dr. Umesh also came there. He said –
I must say aap logon ki himmat ka jwab nhi h. aapke Acp sir bhi jldi recover ho jayenge. Itne bde operation ke baad unko hosh aane mein abhi ek mahina aur lg skta h.
Abhijeet (shockingly) – ek mahina.
Ashutosh – Abhijeet is ek mahine mein unka brain puri tareh se heal ho jayega. Unke liye rest krna zruri h. Ye ek mahina rest hi h unke liye.
Daya – Pr unhe Mumbai kb shift kr skte h.
Umesh – I would say ek hafta toh unhe yhi rehna theek hoga. Travelling unke liye theek nhi h.
Abhijeet – Theek h… esa krte h Daya tum yhi ruk jao tb tkk Sir ke paas. Main Mumbai chla jata hun.
Ashutosh – Aur main bhi yhi rhunga tb tkk. Kuch bhi ho toh Dr. Umesh ke sath main sambhal lunga.
Daya – Theek h. Vaise bhi bureau se hum dono ka gayab rehna sahi nhi hoga.
Abhijeet nodded. He said main aaj dupehr tkk niklta hun fr. Aur tumhari chutti sanction kr dunga ek hafte ki. Koi puchega toh keh dunga k tum apne dost ki shaadi mein gye ho.
Daya – hmm.
Dr. Umesh – You mean…dost ke bete ki shaadi…right? Is umar mein dost ki shaadi…
Both looked at him shockingly while Abhijeet just left from there with a smile and Daya gave a look to Dr. Ashutosh who too left from there behind Abhijeet.
Abhijeet went to Acp's room and sat on the chair present there. He held his hand in his own hands and looked at his face for few moments and said – jldi se theek ho jayiye sir aur apna bureau smbhaliye. Main zyada der tkk Daya se jhooth nhi bol payunga.
In the afternoon, Abhijeet left from there and Daya stayed back. Meanwhile, Dr. Umesh and Ashutosh were sitting in the cabin with serious face. Breaking the silence Dr. Umesh asked –
Ab?
Dr. Ashutosh – pta nhi.
Dr. Umesh – tumhe unhe pura sach btana chahiye tha Ashutosh.
Dr. Ashutosh – nhi Umesh. Humne sach na bta ke theek hi kiya.
Dr. Umesh – lekin jb Acp pradyuman ko hosh ayega tb bhi toh unhe pta chlega na. km se km prepared toh rhenge
Dr. Ashutosh – nhi Umesh. Voh log aur toot jayenge. Main kyi saal se is team ke ek dosre ke sath rishte ho dekhte aa rha hun. Specially Abhijeet, Daya aur Acp pradyuman ko. Aaj ka sach inhe sirf aur tod dega. Pichle ek saal mein in dono ne sb kuch smbhala h apne dam pr. Abhijeet ne apni maa ka ghar, uske past ki iklauti nishani ko Acp pradyuman ke liye kurbaan kr diya. Ye dono bhut janbaaz officers h…pr dil se bilkul komal h. itna dar inki ankhon mein maine kbhi nhi dekha jitna ek saal mein dekh liya h.
Aur fr hm puri tareh se sure bhi nhi is baare mein
Dr. Umesh - Agr ye sach hogya toh…90% chances h Ashutosh k Acp Pradyuman ko HOSH AANE KE BAAD KUCH YAAD NHI HOGA.
Dr. Ashutosh – jb hoga tb dekhenge. Abhi main unki Khushi inse nhi cheen skta. Ye zrori toh nhi k zroor yadasht jayegi hi. Ho skta h esa kuch bhi na ho.
Voice – WHAT!
Dr. Ashutosh turned in shock and saw Daya standing there with shocking expressions on his face.
Dr. Ashutosh ( in shock) – Daya tum yahan!
Both dr. stood up in tension and looked at him. Daya asked again – Aur itni badi baat aap log hmse chupa rhe the.
Ashutosh – Dekho Daya ye zroori nhi h k esa hi hoga. Sar ki chot bhut bhaari hoti h ye toh tum bhi jante ho. Acp sir ki itni gehri chot aur itni medication ke baad esa hone k chances h pr 100 % nhi h.
Daya – Abhijeet ko ye sb kaise btayenge
Ashutosh (instantly) – nhi btayenge. (in deep tone) voh nhi seh payega Daya.
Daya nodded and sat there. Dr. DOU sat there and Dr. Umesh –
Daya dekho agr esa hota bhi h toh ye temporary hi hoga. Permanent nhi. Brain ko sb kuch process krne mein time lgega. Body mein weekness bhi rhegi. Lekin sb theek ho jayega.
Daya (with hope) – Acp sir ki yadasht wapas aajayegi na.
Umesh – Zroor aajyegi.
After some more encouraging words and details of further treatment Daya left to Acp Pradyuman's room. On the other side, Abhijeet reached bureau mid night. He parked his car in the parking lot and went inside bureau. He reached to his cabin locked it from inside and turned. Taking a deep breath he said –
Bs ek mahina aur Abhijeet aur fr ye sb khatam!
He opened a drawer took out a key and opened another locked drawer. He took out some papers from there kept them on table and sat on his chair. He opened his laptop and started working. After half an hour he took out some printouts added it to the stack of papers and locked them again. After that he came out of the cabin looked at his desk for few seconds and went towards it. He faired his hand on his desk, touched his computer, chair and everything present there and just ran out of the bureau. He took a long deep breath and sat in his car. He drove towards his home speedly. Entering inside, he just removed his shoes, socks, belt coat and tucked out his shirt opened few buttons and slept on the couch in the living room itself.
Next day Abhijeet reached bureau and informed everyone that Daya would join bureau after a week as they decided. During the whole week Abhijeet kept himself busy in bureau and cases and Daya spent time in taking care of Acp sir. He was searching ways so that Acp can recover early and discussing with both Drs. After a week Daya came back with Acp sir along with Dr. Ashutosh. They shifted him again in Abhijeet's house.
One day Abhijeet and Daya were sitting in the living room and having tea. They were discussing an ongoing case. Later Daya suggested –
Abhijeet main soch rha hun Acp sir ke liye ek physiotherapist hire krna chahiye. Ek saal se Acp sir coma mein h. jb uthenge toh body support nhi kr payegi. Body massages se unke muscles mein hulchul shuru ho jayegi aur jldi recovery bhi.
Abhijeet – idea toh acha h Daya…pr coma mein physiotherapy kaam kregi?
Daya – Dr. Ashutosh se baat krke dekhta hun.
They discussed with Dr. Ashutosh and hired a physiotherapist to give Acp sir massages. A few days passed and Acp was recovering. But Abhijeet and Daya were getting tensed day by day but couldn't tell each other.
