Story Start!

The Island that did not appear on maps.

Once everyone was awake and ready, Naruto informed them that they were currently circling an island that he believed might contain an Ocean Beast of some sort. Since they were currently circling an island that did not appear on the maps, Naruto had the idea that maybe the Ocean Beast was dangerous enough that no sailors had ever managed to map the island and then make it off the island alive.

That implied something very dangerous.

"That island... has damaged ships surrounding it." Mary stated as she looked through a telescope, it was just far away that the ships weren't easily seen. She observed the ships, before she felt a tap on her shoulder, and thus passed the telescope to her partnered servant. Anne looked at the ships, and saw it was mostly minor damage to the ships that didn't come from being attacked.

They came from time wearing them down.

"They weren't attacked... it just seems like those ships have... been there for a really long time. Whatever is on the island, it doesn't actually attack the ships themselves." Anne licked her lips when she saw several chests filled with treasure aboard some of the ships. She passed the telescope back to Mary, who perked up when she saw the treasure chests as well. "Master... I think it would be a great idea for us to do some more... up close investigating of those ships."

"I agree, there might be valuable treasure to find." Mary agreed with her other half.

Naruto raised an eyebrow.

He nodded and raised a hand, before he gestured for them to start steering the ship towards the island.

"We'll break into 3 groups. Mary and Anne, with Van Gogh and Chloe, will investigate the ships. You three will see what information you can find. Beni-Enma-" Naruto started, before he was interrupted.

By his ancestor.

"Beni, Shuten, and I will stay on the ship and protect it from any threats... correct?" Tamamo asked with a slightly tired smile. She would love to play a bit of a more active role, but it would seem like once again she was being stuck with the same job. She understood that she and Beni had good synergy with Shuten, and the three of them would be able to defend the ship well.

She also understood why Anne and Mary were with Chloe to investigate the other ships that were broken down, because they were the ones who were best suited for the role... and Chloe was actually not horrible at helping Van Gogh if something were to happen.

Ishtar was gone at the moment, which would leave the role of bodyguard to Melusine alone this time.

"Do you want to come along and investigate the island this time with me and Melusine... if that is the case, Chloe, can you stay on the ship with Shuten and Beni?" Naruto asked with a raised brow. He didn't actually mind if that was the case.

Somebody spoke up.

"Captain Naruto! Can we prove ourselves by helping with something!?" Ritsuka made herself known, and even though she wasn't part of the crew, she was going with the flow and addressing him with some level of... joking respect. Naruto looked at her, and he raised an eyebrow when he noticed that she had changed her outfit.

Now she was wearing dark orange flower print shirt that cut off at her belly, and white short shorts. She looked like she was ready for summer vacation, including the sunglasses on her head. She wasn't the only one who had changed outfits, because her servant Mash next to her had changed into a swimsuit to fit with her master. She had healed without a scar to show for it, and had her shield ready.

Atalanta Archer was near them.

"Go with Mary and Anne to treasure hunt I guess. Tamamo and Melusine, you two come with me... and you... Shielder... you come with us." Naruto didn't want Ritsuka having 2 of her servants with her when he wasn't around. Now that Mash was back in fighting condition, it was too dangerous to allow for them to have some sort of advantage over his servants.

"Uh."

"No harm in that, you go with them Mash." Ritsuka pat her shielder on the back with a wide smile. Naruto raised an eyebrow at just how easygoing Ritsuka seemed to be. "With a Tamamo and... well I've never seen the Lancer before, but they both seem strong. I'm sure you don't have anything to worry about." Ritsuka was happy as happy could be around her current situation.

It was kind of weird.

They started to approach the island, towards the part of the island that had the greatest concentration of abandoned ships. It would be a good starting point for them to start their search for treasure.

"Treasure~!"

"Those two... when they aren't horny, they are crazy for adventure." Naruto muttered under his breath, before he got himself calmed down and looked towards the island. The closer they got to the island, the more clear some of the details of it became. Like a ruined temple on the island, and what looked like columns.

-Once the Ship Docked-

"Treasure~!" Anne and Mary jumped off of the ship, holding onto Ritsuka as they jumped off of their ship, and onto one of the abandoned ships. Van Gogh jumped after them, with Atalanta Archer going with them.

Atalanta approached Naruto.

"Master, you never assigned me a role." Atalanta asked as she watched her archer self leave the ship. Naruto never assigned her a role to play on the island. Naruto gave her a piece of paper and a brush, with some ink. "Master?"

"Map the island... run around the entire island as fast as you can, and mark down any important landmarks you see. Also, mark down any caves you find. If Melusine is able to easily overpower this Ocean Beast... then I have plans to take 1 of my Holy Grails and bury it or hide it on this island until we need it." Naruto hadn't forgotten his original plan of hiding his original grail. That way if anything happened, he would always be able to start over again with a grail hidden away safely.

If he was put in a position where he needed to hand his grails over, it would be nice for him to have at least one of them stashed away for safe-keeping. There was no better place to hide his grail than on an unmarked island with a mysterious creature guarding it. Once he obtained the other grails from the other masters, he would come back to this island and get his own grail back.

"Why me?"

"You're fast, competent, and reliable. Melusine is way faster than you, but this isn't a job for her to do. I know you will get this done... take this with you." Naruto passed a Holy Grail to her, and he hid it inside of the mouth of the boar's head on her shoulder. Atalanta looked around curiously, wondering why Naruto was being so secretive.

She saw Mash.

Naruto was speaking quietly so that the Chaldeans didn't know that Naruto was going to be hiding a grail on this island. Atalanta jumped off the ship, and started to run out of sight on all fours like an animal, the future map rolled up in her mouth.

"Come on, lets go." Naruto jumped off the ship and landed on the island.

His feet touched the ground.

He felt a pulse go through his body that froze him where he stood for a second. It felt like his body was stone for a moment. Naruto overcame it by bringing his own blood to a boil once more. He increase his resistance to magical effects by a huge amount, as his eyes turned red and appearance became more wicked. Melusine seemed just fine when she jumped off the ship and landed on the ground behind him.

"Hmmmm?" Melusine gripped her fist and opened it up, repeating the process. "... It feels a little weird to move."

"Mystic Eyes of Cybele... those with high enough Magic Resistance can resist the effects. Those without it are turned to stone, or petrified where they stand. Meaning that somebody with Mystic Eyes is watching us." Tamamo diagnosed what was going on with them.

A small weight was lifted from his shoulders once Naruto knew where the weight came from. The air around them had a red tint to it.

"Master."

"It's fine, this amount of magical drain is a drop in the bucket to me. Mash, if you need any of my mana, let me know." Naruto was a bit of a freak with his mana reserves. He felt the air around him draining him of his mana at a rate that would have killed a normal person within minutes.

Master of the Great Ocean, heed my warning... be you human, you will not be welcome on this, the Shapeless Isle.

"Medusa, I am no mere human! I am Uzumaki Naruto, blood descendant of the Kyuubi Tamamo no Mae, and the descendant of the Goddess Ibuki-Douji." Naruto shouted out when a voice rang through his ears, like it was directly in his head. "I was born a monster, and whenever I tried to live my life as a human, I was rejected... welcome me to your island like a good host!" Naruto called out a declaration.

His statement shocked Mash.

"Medusa?" Tamamo asked Naruto.

"Petrification, the Shapeless Isle... we're not dealing with a Servant Medusa like Hinata had... this is the living and breathing Medusa. Melusine, stick next to my side closely." Naruto held her hand, not to comfort her, but because he wanted to transfer a bunch of mana to her. Melusine felt a rush of mana enter her body, and he nodded to her.

Come.

"Greet me properly Medusa, from one monster hated by humans, to another monster. Introduce yourself to me!"

I am Medusa, the lone living being on this island. I welcome you to this island, Uzumaki Naruto, head to the island's center and face me. Prove yourself as the monster you are.

"This is a bad idea."

"Come on, we're going." Naruto stated as he started his walk.

There were stone statues of men and women on the island, the further he walked the more of them that there were. Naruto stopped and was given a reason to pause when he felt a magical energy coming from one of the statues.

It was a young man.

A servant had been turned to stone on the island, and judging from his cowboy theme to him, and the gun at his side, Naruto would guess that this Heroic Spirit was Billy the Kid. He was famous, even in Japan, as a modern day legend. Naruto placed his hand on the servant, before he crushed the servant's head in his grip. The entire statue started to glow as the spirit was killed for real, and it disappeared.

No matter where they searched, they would never have found him.

"Captain Naruto."

"You can go back to the ship if you want... clearly Medusa doesn't like humans. Thankfully, the three of us here can handle this." Naruto told Mash, who nodded her head and ran back towards the ship.

It wasn't Medusa the servant they were dealing with.

It was Medusa the monster.
