Chapter 134 (Halloween Special)
Terror and darkness blackened across the massive arena where many wrestling fans surrounded the main ring wearing assorted varieties of Halloween costumes. At the very center of the ring stood Jessica Jacklyn, one of the owners of Hardkor, who dressed like Cruella De Ville. She took her microphone and addressed the crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present the Xtrema/Hardkor Halloween crossover event!" She stopped to take in the sounds of the applause. "Xtrema wrestlers will take on Hardkor wrestlers in nine spooky matches to commemorate All Hallow's Eve! Whoever wins these events will be eligible for the big MVP contest we'll be having at the end of the night! Also, as per usual, we will be using the Trick or Treat stipulation where two pumpkins will be placed around the matches. One will help its finder while the other will hinder them. Let the night begin."
*Kaito Marx vs Ryona Kuno*
When Jessica left the ring, two more wrestlers took her place. They stood at opposite corners of the ring. Kaito Marx (who was without his mask and wore a Superman costume) gave a serious stare while Ryona Kuno (who wore her judo gi) smiled confidently at him.
"Starting off this night will be our battle of the weakest in Hardkor's most standard match: No DQ!" Jessica announced. "Representing Xtrema is their only male wrestler, Kaito Marx, who, until recently, has had an unbelievable losing streak! And representing Hardkor will be none other than our girl who's judo skills are as good as her wrestling skills are bad, Ryona Kuno! Will Kaito's losses come back to haunt him or will Ryona experience her first ever loss to a man?"
DING-DING!
After removing his Superman cape and confronting Ryona at the center of the ring, he held out his hands ready to fight. Ryona, however, just looked at his hands and smirked.
"What's that? You want to hold my hands?" Ryona asked. "I don't blame you. I am gorgeous."
"What? No!" Kaito shouted. "I'm challenging you to a test of strength! Not that I'm worried. You never really won a match."
"Oh, you did it now, handsome." Ryona said. Then, to Kaito's surprise, she grabbed him by his forearm and tossed him over her shoulder slamming him to the ground. She then locked in a cross armbar making Kaito wince in pain. "Who's a winner now, bitch?"
Kaito gagged out a bit feeling her arm pulled between Ryona's legs. The referee knelt down to check on him.
"Do you give up?"
"No!" Kaito returned through gritted teeth. He saw the nearest set of ring ropes and reached his feet for them. Thankfully, his feet touched the ropes, but that's not what he was going for. Instead, he used the ropes to jump himself onto Ryona. He pinned her to the ground.

Ryona kicked out of the pin. They both rolled until they were back on their own two feet facing each other.
Once they returned, they charged at each other. Kaito managed to win the clash by hitting Ryona with a clothesline. She quickly stood up before getting clotheslined again. She stood one more time before one last clothesline made her stay down. She then rolled out of the ring and Kaito gave chase. However, as soon as he stepped both feet on the apron, Ryona grabbed it and pulled on it making him slip and fall onto the ringside floor.
After Kaito fell, Ryona looked around until she found a pumpkin. She removed its top and started digging around. "Aha! Now, you get to face my…" She stopped when she felt something hard, yet soft. She pulled it out to see it. "Play Putty? Oh, crap."
By the time she turned back around, Kaito had already recovered from his fall. He ran up to her and tackled her to the ringside barricade. After the crash, Kaito forced Ryona up and threw her back into the ring. He then circled the ring until he found the second pumpkin he was looking for. Since the one that Ryona took was the Trick pumpkin, he knew this would be a Treat pumpkin. He opened it up and pulled out what he discovered was a pair of brass knuckles.
After slipping the knuckles on, Kaito went back into the ring at the same time as Ryona was about to stand back up. As soon as he saw her with the brass knuckles in his hand, she widened hereyes in fear and fell on her knees.
"No! Wait! Don't do this! Please!" Ryona begged. "You… You're a face wrestler, right? You shouldn't resort to tricks like that!"
Kaito stopped for a second to ponder Ryona's words. He looked at his new brass knuckles with uncertainty. "Well, it is rather wrong."
"It turned out great for me!" Ryona yelled before reaching out both her arms and her legs. She wrapped both her legs around Kaito's right leg and grabbed Kaito's arms before slamming him to the ring. She kept her hold on tight at him. "This right here is called the ashi garami, one of the four forbidden techniques in judo. It's illegal in tournaments, but this isn't a judo tournament, is it?"
Kaito Marx groaned in the hold trying to hold back his pained screams until Ryona let go. She turned to the crowd to blow kisses at them which turned into a mistake. Kaito quickly recovered from the hold and kicked at both of her legs. He then got up and ran to the ropes. He bounced from the middle rope and returned to her with an elbow drop. The impact made Ryona groan as she rolled to the corner.
Seeing her current predicament gave Kaito an idea. He went over and set her up in a seated position in the corner. He then turned to the crowd and pulled up his Superman trunks. "Time to see what it's like to give it!" He walked back to apply the stinkface, but before he could…
"NO!"
Ryona Kuno acted on instinct. Without thinking, she thrusted her leg up and hit Kaito right between his legs. He was stunned for that whole second before falling on his knees. After realizing her fortune change, Ryona laughed and got up from her corner. She used her foot to push Kaito onto his back.
"That's right! You're a man! And every man has the same weakness!"
Ryona pulled her leg back before throwing it to kick at Kaito's family jewels again. He let out a silent scream as Ryona applied a judo choke on him. He struggled to escape, but the pain in his legs prevented him from doing much. Eventually, it was too much and he went limp. The referee checked his arm three times before giving the signal.
DING-DING!
"WHOO-WEE! Did you all see that?!" Jessica Jacklyn asked. "At long last, Ryona Kuno picked up her first win! Ol' Kaito Marx must be feeling pretty embarrassed right now! Or at least, he will be once we wakes back up!
Ryona removed herself from Kaito smiling in complete satisfaction. She pumped her fists up to celebrate.
"I DID IT! I WON! And now…" Ryona smirked to Kaito's defeated body and planted her foot on his Superman logo. "Take that, you loser! You lost! I win! Because that's how nature works! The superior wins and the inferior loses! Though, I admit, you're really cute. If you ever decide that fat-ass, Queen Bee, is not woman enough for you, I'll be happy to take you off her hands. Sweet dreams." She removed her foot and strutted out of the ring.
"Well, that's quite a show, everyone! But now, let's move onto the next match! And I promise you, there will be blood!"
*Artemis Creed vs Jintana Mookjai*
Every fan followed Jessica outside the arena where they were then lead to a large, circular dirt field that had a fence surrounding them. Artemis Creed (who dressed like a cyborg) was face to face with Jintana Mookjai (who was wearing a Sindel costume) while two pumpkins were on the far sides of both the left and right of the field.
"Coming up next is a real killer match called… a First Blood match! First to bleed loses!" Jessica cried out. "Representing Xtrema, it's the boxing wrestler, Artemis Creed! And representing Hardkor, the vicious Muay Thai fighter, Jintana Mookjai! Wrestlers ready?" Both nodded. "Then let's go!"
DING-DING!
Both women wasted no time meeting at the center of the circle and throw punches. Both fists hit each other's faces at the same time. Jintana then spun for a high kick, but Artemis ducked and countered with an uppercut. Jintana moved her head back at the last second and returned with a Spartan kick shoving Artemis onto her back. She then straddled her, grabbed her by the sides of her head, and repeatedly bashed her head onto the ground. Artemis eventually freed herself by hitting Jintana with a hard hook across her face. She then gained some distance to feel the back of her head. Thankfully for her, there was no blood.
When Jintana returned to her feet, she rushed at Artemis throwing her elbow at her. The boxer ducked and sent a strong jab to her stomach in return. She then swept her legs making the Muay Thai fighter fall down. Artemis straddled her like she did to her and attempted to throw punches at her face, but Jintana grabbed her wrist and pulled her in for a tight clinch. During the hold, Jintana took advantage and bit Artemis by her ear. The Puerto Rican screamed as she managed to power out of the clinch. She checked her ear and was relieved to find no blood.
When Jintana stood back up, Artemis surprised her with a ferocious left hook sending her down. Artemis realized that with two close calls, she had to find a way to gain the advantage. So she headed over to the first pumpkin she could find hoping it would be a Treat pumpkin. She opened it up and pulled out a knife.
Artemis turned just as Jintana returned to her feet. She ran at her hoping to graze the blade against her arm for a bleeding cut, but Jintana saw her coming and shot a high kick to knock the knife out of Artemis' hands. She then grabbed Artemis' head and pulled it down to her rising knee. Jintana grabbed the knife and returned on top of Artemis.
"Here's a hole in your arm, bitch!" Jintana shouted before thrusting the knife to her opponent's arm. However, surprisingly, the knife didn't go through. Instead, it curved once it hit Artemis' skin. Jintana took the knife to examine it only to be surprised by what it actually was. "A rubber knife?"
While she was distracted, Artemis fired a punch right to her face. She then got on Jintana's back and proceeded to hit her with an array of punches to the back of her head. Jintana gritted her teeth at that until she saw the other pumpkin in arm's length. She reached out for it, but Artemis grabbed her arm and turned her over. At the same time, Jinatana quickly grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at Artemis' face.
Artemis was blinded by the sand and Jintana took the chance to open up the pumpkin and pull out whatever was inside. Much to her delight, it was a handful of broken glass which she then pressed and raked across Artemis' abdomen. The boxer yelled out in pain feeling her stomach. When she pulled it up, she was surprised to find drops of blood staining her fingers.
DING-DING!
"And that's it, everybody!" Jessica announced. "Once again, Hardkor picks up the win as Jintana Mookjai made her opponent bleed! Wasn't that delicious or what? Well, onto the next match!"
*Poison vs Roxy*
The fans returned to the ring where the next two wrestlers were waiting. Poison stood in one corner in her Halloween costume she wore in Street Fighter 5. Meanwhile, Roxy stood in the other corner wearing a modern Harley Quinn outfit. Around the ring were all sorts of Halloween-themed weapons such as pumpkins, candy buckets, apple-and-water bowls, gravestones, candy kendo sticks, and so much more.
"All right, ladies and gentlemen!" Jessica announced. "Up next in our Halloween Special is the Trick or Street Fight, a no-holds-barred match with Halloween weapons used for the wrestlers disposal! Representing Xtrema, we have the pink-haired punk, Poison! And representing Hardkor, we have Poison's old friend turned rival, Roxy! Which gangster will prevail? Let's find out!"
DING-DING!
Poison and Roxy met each other at the center of the ring and locked up in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Both girls were equal in strength, so it was a stalemate.
"No hard feelings?" Roxy asked.
"Depends on how injured you leave me." Poison replied.
Both girls circled each other without letting go of their hold on each other. They circled around the ring until they were both pressed on the ring ropes. They let go and finally got to their brawl. Roxy threw her first punch, but Poison blocked it and countered with a punch that connected to Roxy's face. She then grabbed her by the straps of her top and threw her over the ring ropes.
Poison waited for Roxy until she stood up. She then leaped over the ropes for a body slam, but Roxy dodged out of the way allowing her to slam right into the floor. Roxy then picked up a witch's broomstick and began striking down on Poison with the stick end. She then sat on Poison's back and used the broom to pull Poison's head back in a modified camel clutch.
Poison began gagging on the broomstick which was pressed on her throat. She grabbed the stick and fought to pull it away from her. She managed to do it before headbutting Roxy off of her. Roxy stumbled back and leaned next to a nearby large bowl of apples and water. After getting up, Poison gripped Roxy's hair and shoved her face right into the water. She kept her down for a few seconds before finally letting her up to breathe. Roxy coughed before getting dunked into the water again.
In her panic over getting dunked, Roxy grabbed an apple. When she was raised out of the water again, she shoved the apple right into Poison's mouth. She then grabbed Poison's hair and shoved her face in the water like she did then. Only she didn't keep her down in the water. Instead, she went over to pick up a nearby gravestone. As soon as Poison emerged from the water, Roxy slammed the gravestone onto her head sending her flat down. She then threw Roxy into the ring and covered her for the pin.
1… 2…
Poison kicked out of that. Roxy then tried to lock in a headlock on her former fellow gangster, but Poison moved around so she wouldn't have a good hold on her. She then launched her legs up and wrapped them around Roxy's head before slamming her down. She then jumped up, flipped forward, and slammed her knees onto her stomach.
Poison then decided to go out and look for a weapon to use against her. She left the ring and stopped when she came across a special pumpkin. She took the risk and opened up to see what was inside. She smiled in delight finding her old riding crop.
"Well, isn't this fortunate." Poison said after checking to see if it was okay.
Poison returned to the ring just as Roxy was standing back up. She ran at her and hit her with a knee strike before swinging her whip across Roxy's face. As soon as she was down, Poison admired the crop again.
"Well, at least I know it isn't booby-trapped. Guess I got the Treat pumpkin after all."
"How's this for a Treat!" Roxy shouted before sending a high kick right at Poison's stomach making her bend over in pain. She then got up and took the riding crop from her. "Guess those ab muscles are just for show."
Roxy swung the whip to smack Poison's back a few times before smacking her butt twice. She threw the crop away and picked Poison up. She then went behind her and threw her backwards in a German suplex. She stayed there for the pin.
1… 2…
Poison kicked out. Roxy stood back up and stomped on Poison repeatedly and wildly. She then picked her up and Irish whipped her to the ropes. When she returned, Roxy scooped her up before slamming her down on the mat. But she didn't pin her. Instead, she had another plan in mind.
Roxy left the ring and grabbed a table which she then slid into the ring. She set it up near a corner before turning back to Poison. She stomped her one more time on the head before picking her up. She lead her to the corner past the table and sat her up at the top turnbuckle. She climbed up over her and wrapped her legs around her head. She leaned back to throw Poison off with a hurricarana, but she was stopped. Poison didn't budge an inch.
Instead, Poison grabbed Roxy by her waist and pulled her back up. Roxy tried to punch at Poison's head, but the pink-haired gangster wouldn't let go. She stood up and jumped forward smashing Roxy down onto the table. She hooked her leg for the pin.
1… 2… 3!
DING-DING!
"Well, isn't this a surprise! Xtrema actually pulled off a win for once!" Jessica announced. "Poison stood on top after this back-and-forth match and pinned Roxy down for the pin! Onto the next match!"
