Hello everyone,
It's been ages since I've been on this account. I am so sorry, it's just life has gotten the best of me, and I am a parent now, so a lot of my focus went into that. I stumbled back onto and decided that I want to get back to writing a bit. Doing these stories when I was younger helped me through a lot during middle/high school, I'm hoping now that it'll help me now as it did then. Again, forgive me for this hiatus for anyone who enjoyed the story.
Yugimoon Chronicles...when I initially started this there were so many wild avenues, I wanted to take this. Re reading this, while it is cute, I do see that I need to patch things up and clarify certain areas. I plan to find a beta, as my grammar still needs work so many years later ^_^. I plan to work out the patches with the timeline as far as Sailor Moon events and what happened to the senshis and Mamour. Honestly, if I can recall all of them years ago, I wrote this around the time when betrayal stories were popular. I didn't want to fully go that route; thus, I made a reality where the scouts where captured/killed. I didn't know what to do with Mamo, so I didn't add him in yet. I did intend for a love triangle; however, I think I wanted to keep it around Yugi/Malik/Ryou and Usagi. I think the Seto add was extra, I think I want to update that.
But here is the big information and note I am debating rewriting this story. I plan to reread the Sailor Moon and YUGIOH manga to try to have better characterization. The new adaptations I was thinking is the following:
1. As far as Sailor Moon timeline, what I was thinking was potentially going off Cosmos or the alternate future Usagi aka Sailor Chibi Chibi/Cosmos. **Spoiler** at the end of the Sailor Moon manga it revealed Chibi Chibi is Cosmos (alternate form of Sailor Moon) from a dystopian alternate timeline where she ran from Chaos. I was considering doing where she goes back defeats chaos and eventually reborn to this alternate timeline (yugioh timeline) and starts fresh. If I go that route, I may eventually reintroduce the senshis.
2. I am considering not splitting the Yami and Hikaris, or at least potentially later during an event maybe separate them. It is challenging having them split up or separated. If I do have them regular, I may make Marik and Bakura distant from Pharaoh and still hot/cold relationship. Or I can keep them separated but I must change a bit (no ignoring, no school for them, etc.). I also need to decide the timeline... maybe something happening when the Pharoah was leaving that prevents the transition...
4. I plan to make a better layout of the new villain. I realized I made things confusing with the Queen line. So, I will do more research into that, also debating if I should make it an enemy of both Usagi and Yami.
5. Seto may or may not be as involved. Also, maybe I will still introduce ChibiUsa...
6. I made a comment in one chapter of potentially having the hikaris and Jou as senshis (i.e., starlight vibe). I'm unsure if I want to or not. Idk if I want to do a full gender change or to do it like starlight's where they were men but transformed.
I have other ideas, but these are some of the changes I'm considering making...let me know what your thoughts or suggestions...or I can continue how it is already but maybe tweak the chapters.
Also I am officially back to KousagiBriefs
