Hey there, I knew some of you would really like this story. I know X-Men Evolution has a small fan base in fanfic, I mean its big but it's not that huge. I mean the X-Men from the 90s is getting a new series but nothing from the X-Men Evolution. However, with all the changes that would happen from the early 2000s to today, it's better to let that be relic from that time. I hope you all enjoy.
At the Danger Room.
Logan had called the main X-Men (Scott, Jean, Kitty, Rogue, Evan and Kurt) to explain about the news from this morning.
''You all heard what happened on the TV. Apparently, there is something that is eating human flesh. We don't know if it's a creature or a mutant. Either way we are walking on thin ice and even chuck knows about it.'' Said Logan.
The X-Men just nods at that, they heard about the murder of those cops, and they didn't know what or who could be responsible for that gruesome scene.
''I want you all to train 5 times harder than before. The newbies are not going in a mission at night, if we have news of something gruesome happening you are not to go along. Its has to at least one of the teachers with you all. We need to make sure that nothing happen around here. Slim is now your turn; I will prepare the room for your training.'' Said Logan.
Everyone just nod at that, and the room was quiet for a moment. Nobody wanted to be thought about it, but the idea of a mutation that led someone to eat human flesh was beyond horryfing. If that news is given to the wrong newscaster, they could tell the whole world that mutants are pretty much man eating monsters.
Scott took a deep breath and then talked with his friends.
''You all heard Logan, we need to get stronger. Whatever caused that massacre is still out there. We can't hold back, more people might die out there and we have to work as hard as we can.'' Said Scoot.
''Understood sir!'' Said Evan acting like a soldier.
''This isn't a joke, Evan!'' Said Rogue all serious.
''Yes, someone was brutally murdered in our city.'' Said Jean.
''Sorry. Trying to light the mood.'' Said Evan.
''No the right time.'' Said Kitty.
''Alright.'' Said Evan sounding a little bad.
Soon the voice of Logana appeared on the speaker. He was ready to start the training.
The X-Men got into a fighting pose as they prepare to see what was going to be tossed at them.
''Be prepared.'' Said Logan.
''What kind of simulation are you planning Logan?'' Asked Kurt.
''Some rush training that will make you all hate me.'' Said Logan.
The group looked at each other a bit nervous, they didn't know what would the Wolverine would do.
''We don't hate you.'' Said Kitty.
''Oh but you will all hate me.'' Said Logan
Logan soon started the simulation; it was a hard one that made the X-Men work as a team but also use what they had as a solo.
The Storm and Beast soon arrive to see Logan, making sure he wasn't going to go a little too far or ended up hurting the kids.
''I don't know if this is a good idea or not.'' Said Storm.
''Ororo while I understand your concern, we have to remind ourselves about this upcoming enemy.'' Said Beast.
''Beast is right, we don't know what is out there. We need to be prepared for everything.'' Said Logan.
''I know, but I want to learn what is going to happen in the future.'' Said Ororo.
The teachers kept watching the X-Men training and making sure they were catching up with their powers. It was a bit hard, but they were taking a handle of it.
''They have improved. I don't know about the New Mutants.'' Said Ororo.
''They will have their time, but we need to get the strongest one on point.'' Said Logan.
''He is right, it's a bit frighten but we need to focus on whatever this creature or person is.'' Said Beast.
''Understood.'' Said Ororo.
Back with the X-Men.
The X-Men was using their powers to defeat all the drones and other things that were on the Danger Room. Cyclops were using his laser blasts at full force, Jean was using her psychic powers to make the robots flip, Kitty was phasing them to make sure that the robots were destroyed, Evan was making more spikes to destroy them and in the end Rogue and Kurt were using their powers to help the group destroy as much robots as they can.
''Take the ones on tops, we haven't taken down them yet.'' Said Cyclops.
''Understood!"' Said Evan all serious.
''Nice job.'' Said Rogue with a smirk.
''Hey, I can be serious too.'' Said Evan.
The group kept fighting and fighting. This was going to be start of the heavy training for the X-Men. Before they had usual and daily training, but after they heard about that creature they decided to get an even more serious training.
At Xavier office.
Xavier was trying to use Cerebos to try to locate some news mutants, maybe to find the mysterious creature. However, he had no luck, he wanted to make sure that if it was a mutant he could help, but if it wasn't a mutant than what it was.
The old man had his reasons to be worried, but he wasn't the only one who saw that piece of news and a lot of people had various reactions to this news.
Various Super Heroes groups saw that news and they had a variety of reactions.
The Fantastic Four saw that and were both horrified and wonder what was going on Bayville.
S.H.I.E.L.D saw those news and were going to send as many agents as they could towards Bayville. They gave permission to kill whatever was doing that.
The Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Ant Man, Wasp, Hulk, Black Panther and Hawkeye) saw that news and were all horrified, they knew that they would go pass around on Bayville a day or two.
On New York, Peter Park was seeing the breaking News from the Bungle ´´Cannibal is at loose on Mutant Town´´. Just shivering on what was that.
Dr Stranger was at his House of Mystery and sensed some presence. A lot of his books started to shake and he felt sweat started to come out of his face in a intense way.
''Something evil has come to this world.'' Said the sorcery supreme in horror.
Not just the heroes were seeing the news, some people who used their powers for their own ways discovered that too.
With Magneto
At the Brotherhood hide out.
Magneto was with Mystique and Sabretooth, once they saw the news, they were wondering what could have killed those people.
''I never seen something like this in all my years.'' Said Magneto.
''This is so savage that I don't think even Creed would do.'' Said Mystique.
''What!'' Said Creed pissed.
''I said that couldn't do, you are a savage but you´re not a freaking cannibal.'' Said Mystique.
''Cannibals are people who eat their own species, we are not the same species as those cops.'' Said Magneto.
''Maybe I can track it down. I can fight it and bring towards you.'' Said Sabretooth.
''No, I want to handle this myself.'' Said Magneto with a simple tone, not serious or calm.
Mystique heard the tone on Erik voice, and she felt a little bit worried.
''Oh no, you´re not bringing this creature here. I might not like those idiots, but I don't want them to be eaten.'' Said Mystique.
''I will handle this, don't worry this creature can't handle my magnetism. If he doesn't subject to me I will kill it.'' Said Magneto.
''Well that's feels a little bit better.'' Said Mystique.
Sabretooth while having a smirk brought up a simple question.
''What about the X-Men?" Asked Sabretooth.
''Let Charles try to act all civil or with chivalry. Either way to handle this creature has to be handle with violence and even a bit of torture.'' Said Magneto.
''Smart.'' Said Mystique.
''We will go at night, I feel that the creature is at easy at night.'' Said Magneto.
''Ok, but we aren't going to bring the boys.'' Said Mystique.
''I wouldn't let Pietro and the others be at risk. They are already part of the brotherhood, and we need them.'' Said Magneto.
''Alright.'' Said Mystique.
Sabretooth just had a crazy smile on his feral face, the shape shifter just look at this with an annoyed look.
''What is with you?" Asked her.
''I sense that I will fight with all my strength.'' Said Creed.
Magneto was just wondering who was this creature or person. If this was a person, he need it to kill it, if that gets out than the government was going to decree the genocide of all mutants. Erik wasn't going to let that happen to his species no matter what.
Later at night
Wolverine saw the X-men panting and all sweaty, they look like they were about to have a heart attack.
''Ok, rest time. You all have 30 minutes of rest. Get some water and some air.'' Said Logan.
The X-Men just collapse in the floor and they look like they were about to pass out.
''Is anyone having difficult to breath?" Asked Kitty.
''Yes, I don't know why.'' Said Evan.
''Because we are having a hard time breathing at first. We need to take time so we can absorb everything.'' Said Kurt.
''Man, I wish I was in the new mutants.'' Said Evan.
''Stop with that.'' Said Rogue.
Then Storm arrived in the training room, she had some water and fruits on a tray.
''Here are some water and fruits. Take while its fresh.' Said Ororo.
''Thank you Auntie!'' Said Evan grabbing the drinks.
As the X-Men were having their refreshment they decided to ask the older mutant about the current situation.
''How is the professor?" Asked Scott.
''On Cerebros, making sure to try to find who was causing all this. So far nothing.'' Said Ororo.
Cyclops was all serious, as the leader of the X-Men he need it to make sure the team was at their best shape to fight this creature.
''don't worry, I will make sure that no more people are hurt around Bayville. You have my word.'' Said Scott.
However the promise of Cyclops was going to be broken very soon.
At the cave
A woman was exploring the caves of Bayville. She had just a flashlight with her because it was too dark. Sadly, those dark caves would be the last things she would ever see, because the demon soon appeared and attacked her.
''aaaaaaha!'' Scream her as the demon slash her head off.
Slash
The demon just lick the blood on his hands, he was with a great amount of joy on his face.
''Flesh!'' Said the Demon with a smirk as he drags the new corpse.
So yes, this was a bit short chapter and not very good. However, I am completely fine with this chapter. I am going to keep this up until Tanjiro and the others arrive, I already have a plan on how this fic is going to be. I hope you all understand what I am saying.
