The news of the only survivor of the fishermen spread fast. The man somehow survived the attack but can't remember how and why he was on a boat. He only remembered that the giant Grimm attacked.

This put the town on guard, and many cruise ships stopped working until they could have more security. But not all the ships stopped working. There was one that continued working, but only to Mistral as they wanted to evade long distances unless they had enough security, and unfortunately, Menagerie does not have a formal post for huntsmen and huntresses.

Inside this ship was travelling a weird passenger. Wearing a white dress with a mask covering her face and a big hat. This woman did not want her skin to be touched by the sun. At first, the people mistake her for the white fang, but they realise the mask is different once they get closer to her.

Due to this aspect, the Capitan needed to address her. He did when he went closer to the woman. Her small size made him think he was dealing with a young teen.

"Hi. Hello, miss".

The girl only turned, and a pair of red eyes looked at him.

"I wanted to ask you if you could remove the mask. People are complaining about the resemblance with the White Fang and..." "I will not".

The voice sounded young. The girl did not hesitate to cut him, even if he was the Capitan, "I am a faunus like all of you. Or am I going to suffer also from my own kind?"

The Capitan was a Gorilla faunus, and his body was big, reflecting his personality. Still, at that moment, he felt like the smaller of the two.

"Suffice it to say that I need to avoid sunlight to survive. If you could have offered a night trip, I would have taken one, but due to the paranoia of the fishermen, I must take yours. Besides, we are approaching the port, so I would appreciate it if you don't bother me anymore". The girl then walked away from the man.

Once the ship arrived at the port, the girl walked with people looking at her. To the people at the port, it looked like a rich girl had just come. Her walk was way too proper, and many mistook her for a Schnee.

Some people smirked, thinking about how much she would have and how easy it would be to take it from her. They followed her momentarily, but she disappeared after turning in one corner.

Inside the best hotel in the city, at the front desk was the girl with the white dress and mask. The receptionist flinched a little when she saw Shalltear, but then she took her mask, "Good day, I would like to rent a room".

The receptionist was surprised by the girl's beauty, "under which name?"

"Shalltear".

The woman nodded and gave her a key with a number attached to it.

Inside the room, Shalltear huffed. The task was easy but annoying. She then realised that the room at least had a shower but not a bath. She looked at the city through the window and frowned. "It looks like any other city in E-rental, unlike Menagerie, looked like a Village Carne on a bigger scale... what is that?" asked the vampire when she saw the vehicle made out of metal, which moved with no animals.

"Are they using a spell? I need to investigate that," said the vampire, taking the notebook from her hat.

"It does not look like it's using steam like the boat. But..." She stopped thinking when she saw smoke coming from the back of some vehicles. "Maybe it does use it but, in a different way, maybe... agh." Shalltear was not on her first solo mission after the debacle with the bandits. She was starting to feel a headache, so she decided to at least take a shower, and she would investigate in the evening before it was too late so she wouldn't give any suspicion.

After a deserved shower, Shalltear left the hotel and walked the streets, and lucky for her, she only had to walk for a few streets until she found a man trying to repair a vehicle parked with its hood open. She looked at the intricate machinery inside and could not understand how it worked. The man was using a tool with a weird shape to try to repair the motor.

The man repairing the vehicle sighed when another man got closer, "Hey, sorry. It seems that some fire dust went outside the pistons and broke some of them. I will suggest you replace them. Nothing I can do for your car right now, sorry".

Fortunately to Shalltear, there was a vendor close to the man, and she made the excuse of buying something to hear everything. The vendor noticed it and smiled at her, "Not always see a girl wearing those pretty dresses being interested in cars."

"Just intrigue, " said Shalltear, taking the products she bought and leaving.

The vampire continued walking and then found the central station. She entered the building, and almost right away, she saw a map of the country she was in. She noted that this bus station could take you to several villages, but the wild forest governed most of the country. Those were her thoughts until she heard a couple talking.

"There are no stops close to Dennis' home? It's not even on the map", said a young man. Next to him was a woman taller than him. "Calm, we can always go to the capital and walk from there. He said that he was at the south of Mistral."

Shalltear, after hearing that, walked back to the hotel. Once inside her room, she grabbed her Game Encyclopedia from her inventory. The first thing she searched for was 'pistons', but she found nothing, then she searched for 'car' and found it.

Car – vehicles that were introduced with the military expansion and later again with the mecha expansion. In order to make them, apart from the metals like Iron and the data crystals, you need the correct fuel for each. The oil-based cars respond better than others, but the resource consumption makes it expensive. The solar ones are strong for day movement but ultimately fail at night or when the sun is blocked.

Shalltear made some notes about her findings. She later thought about the dust that the man talked about, which was the name of the elements the locals use as fuel. Although she thought that they only used it for attacks.

The next day, in the morning, Shalltear left the hotel. She decided to buy a map. When she purchased it, she was advised that the map was updated with information from a year before. And after acquiring her map, she vanished from the city.

..

Three men were walking through a road inside a forest. One was pulling a small cart with some goods. The other two were walking to the sides of the man, both with weapons. One had a sword on his waist, and the other had a long sword on his back and short guns in his thighs.

Their walk had been easy and with no problem until they heard a sound from the trees. This made the three to stop. The weapons were in their hands right away. The one with the sword moved first, and the sound got louder, and then they could recognise the sound. It was the panting of a person.

Suddenly, a girl with a dirty white dress appeared from the bushes. She was wearing a mask, but even with it, the three men could see she was afraid and escaping from something. Behind her, an Ursa, a bear-like Grimm.

The man with the cart asked her to go closer to them, while the one with the guns started to shoot, making the Grimm change directions towards him. The fireguns seem to not have any effect. The man with the sword swung the weapon, and a line of fire came from it, making the Grimm take some steps back.

The man with the sword took a white crystal from his jeans pockets and put it inside the handle, with only a tiny portion of the crystal showing out the handle.

The Grimm then attacked again. The man with the guns kept shooting without injuring the beast but distracting it by aiming at the eyes. Meanwhile, the other man jumped, and with his sword, he killed the Grimm.

The girl looked at everything from where she was, close to the man with the cart. "Is it dead?" said the girl in a low voice, and as in queue, the Grimm started to disappear.

"Are you ok, girl?" said the man beside her. She only nodded.

The three men looked at each other. None of them thought leaving her alone in the forest was good, but one had suspicions due to the mask. Ultimately, the three concluded they would take the girl to their destination, a significant town.

"So, is it all right with you? Once in Shion, you will be on your own," asked the one with no weapons. The girl nodded and went with them.

"By the way, my name is Carl. The one with the sword and big muscles is Greg, and the one with a scary face is Ross", said the man pulling the cart.

"Shalltear" was everything she said.

"Nice to meet you, Shalltear. Is that from Vacuo?" asked Carl.

Shalltear shrugged, "I don't know".

The four of them continued their journey, but now with Shalltear in the back of the cart reading a book, wearing a mask.

They were walking and laughing about some old memories when they were young. And they were unaware of the people that were following them. At least three bandits were hiding behind the trees of the forest around.

Shalltear wanted to understand more about the people and their living conditions. So she decided to find people outside the cities and then found that trio. She found them on the road and asked them for help to arrive in the town of Shion.

Only one man opposed the idea when they first met, but the other two convinced him. She told them she was a Faunus and should not go without her mask. They accept and let her go with them.

The men went to sleep at night, leaving only one person up. But this person did not have a strong will as he was drowsy. This seems to be the perfect time for the bandits to attack.

But suddenly, a pair of red eyes appeared in front of them, and with a maniacal voice, she said, "I hate bandits!"

The bandits tried to defend themselves, but they died almost instantly. Shalltear did not want their fear to bring the Grimm and attack the men she was using.

The following day, the three men and Shalltear went back on their way to Shion. While still on the way, Shalltear decided to act a little more. She jumped out of the cart and went close to the tallest man, the one with the long sword.

"Mr, can I ask you something?"

"Sure!"

"Are you perhaps a Huntsman?"

The other two started to laugh loudly, and the taller one got annoyed. Then the one pulling the cart answers Shalltear, "No girly. He wished to be one, but they are way stronger than him".

"Sure, sure, then why don't you better hire a huntsman to walk you?" said the tall man.

"Geez, sorry, Greg", said the one pulling the cart.

The tall man called Greg only shook his head. "No, girly. I am not a huntsman, but I am capable enough to handle the Grimm from around here". Shalltear just nodded to the answer.

The one pulling the cart cleared his voice, "Why do you ask? Perhaps you are attracted to them? Let me tell you that they are a bunch of-oof" - "Shut it, Carl. She is just a little girl", the other man stopped him from continuing talking.

"No, it's just I always wanted to become one, but my papa never let me train or investigate about it, " said the Shalltear, looking at the floor.

It was difficult to read her expression while wearing the mask, but the men immediately imagined what may have happened.

When they met her, she told them that she just survived a Grimm attack and was wandering alone for days in the wilds until they met. Carl and Greg agreed to help her, but only the third man, Terrance, thought it was weird.

"Your father was correct to tell not let you know. They may be amazing, but their training may be close to hell. And if you don't have your aura unlocked, it is close to impossible", said Greg with a sad smile. "Don't misunderstand me. I have only respect for them. When I was younger, I was in this caravan, and a gigantic Grimm appeared when we were close to the city. Some huntsmen were already fighting, but they were nothing, but then a team of four appeared. He singled handle the Grimm. That's when I realised the difference between a simple fighter like me and a real huntsman".

Shalltear did not say anything, but she did not need to, as the town of Shion was visible.

The four entered the town, but the man talked with the guards. In the meantime, Shalltear saw a screen showing a woman's face using a similar mask but with black hair, and under the woman appeared the legend 'Raven Branwen, leader of the Branwen tribe. Wanted dead or alive.'

After a while, a female guard was the one to approach her. She was taken to a comfortable room, invited to drink, and accepted a cup of tea.

"Hello there, my name is Phrygia. I am here to help you, so I need to ask you a few questions. Is that ok?"

Shalltear nodded, and the woman sat in front of her. The woman was wearing a cuirass over a black, white and yellow shirt that looked thin and high boots with white trousers. The woman was tall with long, wavy brown hair tight in a bun.

"First, I was told that your name is Shalltear. Is that correct?"

The guardian of the first three floors nodded and thought about a fake last name, but she was not asked for it.

"The men with you told us about how they found you, but could you tell us what happened? Remember, you are safe here."

Shalltear nodded again, "My Papa and I were going to visit a family member. Someone Papa said he had not seen in a long time. I used to live only with Papa on a small island close to Menagerie, but he wanted me to meet the world. So, we made the trip to Oniyuri".

When the name of Oniyuri was given, the woman stopped moving, and her eyes went wide, maybe guessing what was following in the story.

"Dad told me he would be there first and give me the map. When I arrived, I found nothing. It was a ghost town, and... and then... a giant Grimm appeared, and... Papa..."

"You don't need to continue", said the woman with a tear in her eye. She stood up and hugged the girl before her, "You are safe now".

"I ran and got lost in the forest, and after a while, those merchants found me and helped me".

After that interview, Shalltear was taken to a shelter by the same officer, who said goodbye with a "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me". The vampire looked at the room with disgust, and she wondered how the supreme being could tolerate such places. She waited until the sun started to hide to leave the building and stroll the town.

She walked around without her mask. Some people looked at her with weird expressions that she could not decipher. She found a combat school on her stroll, but it was not one of the academies she was told about. She then saw a cartel about the school,

Classes from 7am to 6pm, all Saturdays and Sundays. Summer camp starts on July 1st until July 29th. Requisites Minimum of age: 12 years, Parents/guardian approval. Prices Weekends classes 15 liens, no material included. Summer camp, 400 liens, material included.

Shalltear wonders about those classes. Indeed, the material should be for something else and not about books if this is a combat-focused school. She also wondered how strong a 12-year-old human could be and if they could defeat those Grimm monsters.

The vampire continued walking around the town. She started to compare the town more with E-Rantel; the streets were taken care of, and the walls around the same tall, maybe a little shorter. She kept walking for a while before returning to the shelter room.

The next day, she walked again with her mask on. She went to the market to see if she could find more information to report. She did find a couple of shops that caught her eye. The dust shops.

When she got closer, she looked at this material with the shape of a data crystal, and she wondered if they were not the same. The eyes of Shalltear went wide when she realised the implications of the possibilities. Not only do the humans have access to the power to upgrade themselves, but if used correctly, they may be able to defeat most of the citizens of Nazarick, except for the floor guardian and maybe some monsters, and of course, Ainz-sama.

She was about to enter one of the shops when Greg came out from one of them, "girly, nice to see you!"

After that, Shalltear walked with the man, who told her that his sword had a compartment in which he added the dust, so every time he slashed an enemy, they would also receive damage depending on the dust he was using. Shalltear asked if the property of the dust wouldn't remain on the weapon. Still, she was disappointed when told that it only works until the dust is depleted.

They walked to a busy street where many merchants were selling on the street. They kept walking until they found Carl and Terrance. After a while, she excused herself and watched the rest of the goods of the other merchants. She found different types of armours, some similar to what the adventurers typically use in the sorcerer kingdom and others more flamboyant.

Shalltear also noted that the fashion used in this town has more variety. Some girls wear trousers instead of skirts and more revealing clothing. Men's clothing was not that different, maybe only because they used a more resistant type of clothing.

Shalltear then found another familiar person, the guard who helped her when she arrived. "Shalltear? What are you doing outside the shelter?"

"Strolling"

"You wanted to know the town more? Come, I was going to eat," the woman grabbed her shoulders and guided her to an outside restaurant. "You gonna love this food", said the girl, and Shalltear remained silent.

Phrygia sat at a table outside the restaurant. A waitress arrived immediately and gave the guard and Shalltear the menu. The guard took it and ordered pasta, but Shalltear did not try to open the menu.

Phrygia looked at Shalltear, then turned to see the mask and remembered that she could not take it because of the sun. The guard apologised and offered to move to another place, but Shalltear told her they could remain there, and then the food arrived.

"You may eat. I am not hungry", said the vampire.

"But..."

"Instead, I want to ask. Is there a way that I can enter any of the huntsmen academies?"

"You really want revenge, huh... I can't say that I blame you", said the guard. She sighed for a moment and crossed her arms. "It's not an easy life, you know. Being a Huntress. I was, well, I am one. I still have my license. I graduated from Haven Academy."

Phrygia had not started her food, "I am the only one that remained from the team." A tear came from the guard's eyes, and she began to eat to hide her face.

Shalltear stayed still while Phrygia ate her food to forget her sorrow. Once she finished, she looked at the vampire, "It seems that you are determined, huh". The guard sighed while cleaning her tears while pretending she was clearing her mouth. "The best school you could aim for is Beacon. It's the best huntsmen school, and you can apply with no recommendation or previous combat school. Haven works under recommendations, and Atlas only admits those who graduated from any of the affiliated combat schools. I am not sure how Shade Academy works."

Shalltear nodded, "thank you".

"Don't thank me. You need to be an outstanding fighter to enter. You are 15, right? You still have 2 years to train hard. And you also need a weapon. You cannot call yourself a huntress if you don't have a weapon... and if you want, I can help you unlock your aura", said Phrygia with a smile.

"It's decided then. I'll write you a letter of recommendation for the combat school in Mistral city", Phrygia said, and then she leaned back and crossed her arms, "It's way better and cheaper than the one here. Or you can go to Patch, It's an island in Vale. It's really calm. Still, they have two ex-members of a team that was famous back in the day".

After that, Shalltear went back to the shelter. She wrote everything she learned that day and added a list of things she needed to acquire. Her list included: scroll device, dust crystal (data crystal?), weaponry, aura?

The vampire wondered for a moment. She was told that the aura was a manifestation of the soul, but she was a vampire, an undead. Does she have a soul? She took her Game Encyclopedia and searched for souls. Unfortunately, the information was irrelevant as it discussed different classes' different attacks and effects. Then she wondered about the sister of her creator, Peroroncino's sister, Bukubukuchagama, who could give a soul with her voice.

She then decided that the risk of showing her true self was not worth it. The implication is that she must kill the guard, who probably already talked about this with others. If she kills her, she must defend herself against the other guards and the possible huntsmen in the town. She was sure she could kill them, but that would bring more problems than solutions.

Still, she wanted to know how the people fight here. The bandits she killed didn't fight, as she did not let them. So, she waited for midnight, then left through the window and went to the tallest building. She cast [Summon Household], and seven dark wolves with red eyes appeared from the shadows.

It took less than a minute when the first attack happened. The guard was confused about how a tiny Grimm could enter and underestimated the wolf, who just jumped and slashed the guard's jugular. Gunshots started to sound.

The guards felt overwhelmed; the tiny Grimm attacking was never seen before. Some wonder how they could enter the town. Their training helped them survive, but they could not kill this new Grimm. And the desperation started to appear on the guards when another guard died.

Two dark wolves were attacking the main gate, where most guards were. Shalltear used invisibility and then flew to see all the chaos. The problem was that most of the guards were attacking only one wolf, and the other looked like they had escaped inside the town, but suddenly, the wolf came back and pushed the gate door open. A bunch of roars appeared, and real Grimm appeared.

Shalltear could not feel happier. She will be able to see the strength of the Grimm now. Then she felt one of her wolves die, and she got interested. She flew to where the wolf was killed and found out that a group of men with different armours were there, all of them using different kinds of weapons. Swords like what Cocytus has; others had weapons closer to what CZ2128 uses, and some had more not conventional weapons like masses or throwing rings (chakram).

A group of four of these huntsmen were fighting one of her dark wolves. She realised then what Greg meant by applying the dust to the weapons. She saw how the girl with the trowing ring put a red dust crystal in the middle of her weapon, and then she threw it, and the edges of the ring started to produce fire. After learning that her vampire wolves were weak against fire, the huntsmen were a little over the normal humans on Shalltear notes, still under the adventurers.

She moved to see other parts and found out that other huntsmen were having problems, using ice against the wolves, and others trying to overpower the wolves. It was pathetic that a level 7th wolf could defeat several of those guards and some huntsmen. That made her wonder if the Huntsmen also had some rank, like the adventurers. Based on the way of fighting and using the system of the adventurers, these huntsmen were Copper, and the previous were at least Iron.

She then felt that her seven wolves had been killed, and she was about to fly back, but she realised the fight continued. She went and saw that a group of Grimm was attacking. Shalltear happily continued watching everything.

A big pack of Grimm that looked like animalistic werewolves were attacking the town. The creatures seem to be stronger than the normal quagoas but brainless. She could understand that the guards could defeat them more quickly than her own vampire wolves.

"Nooooo!"

Shalltear turned to see the origin of the scream, which was a big crash. The one who screamed was Rea, the guard, and in front of her was a Grimm that destroyed the shelter. The vampire looked for a while as she was supposed to be a huntsman.

Phrygia was furious. That cute little girl she just met died. She saw herself on her. Orphan and only survivor of her village, she wanted nothing but to eliminate all the Grimm in the world. She trained hard, unluck her aura, and found her semblance and trained even harder. She became part of team PCKL (Pickle) and forged a friendship closer to a family, and then her teammates died when hunting a Grimm inside a cave. And then she was alone again.

She will never forget them, but she was alone. And then Shalltear appeared. She did not want her story to repeat, for her to be alone. But the Grimm had taken everything from her. Phrygia activated her semblance. She took a piece of wood on the floor, and when her hand touched the wood, it turned into gold, and she threw it as if it were a spear. Her plan was simple: get closer and touch the Grimm to turn it into gold and destroy it before it changed to normal.

Unfortunately, her strength was insufficient, and she only had a standard guard weapon. Her huntress weapon was at her house.

The Grimm was about to attack her, but a man with a giant sword appeared. Greg appeared just in time and deflected the attack of the Grimm, but he was sent flying to Phrygia and against a wall, and his sword flew in the other direction. Phrygia stopped her semblance to not hurt Greg, but now both against the wall with the Grimm in front.

The Grimm raised its claw.

Some adventurers were at the far end of the street, too far from them.

Phrygia closed her eyes, waiting for her death.

Death at last.

She wanted to see her parents.

She wished to see her team.

She hoped she could meet Shalltear again.

But she realised there was no pain. 'Was it an instant death?' Wondered the woman, but then she heard a screech. She opened her eyes, and the Grimm was empaled by ice. Then it disappeared like they do after dying, and behind where the Grim was, she saw Shalltear with Greg's sword in hand.

She was with her white dress and her white hat but no mask. She looked like an angel, like the light her life needed. The air passed, and her blonde hair moved.

Shalltear stood still until Greg and Phrygia stood up. Shalltear did not say anything and only handed the sword back to Greg. The adventurers finally arrived, screaming praises to Shalltear, but her expression did not change.

The Grimm was finally contained, and the danger was already over. Due to the destruction of the shelter, Phrygia offered her apartment to Shalltear to rest. A nod was her answer.

The guard left her guest resting on her bed while she went to the emergency reunion. Guards and huntsmen were there.

"How could this happen?" was the main point. They wanted to know how to prevent another attack. The huntsmen were talking about how they dealt with the first tiny Grimm.

"Those were weak, really. Guards could kill them with guns. The problem was that they were really fast",

"Not that weak. You need to shoot them several times."

"No, they were weak. You just needed to use fire dust against them".

"That's the first time I heard of any Grimm having a weakness against a certain element".

"We need to pass this information as soon as possible".

"Is it possible that those small Grimm were Beowolves cups?"

Everyone got silent. The study of Grimm was really difficult as they disappeared after defeat. Capturing one alive was almost impossible as they fought until death. And those who usually flee are intelligent enough to know when they can escape.

Information about how they reproduced is only a zone of speculation.

The discussion continued without an actual conclusion. They just ended up having a stricter patrol inside the town.

Phrygia got back to her home and saw Shalltear sleeping. She entered her room as silently as she could, and then, from one side of the bed, she grabbed a cane and walked out of the room. She sat on a sofa and watched her cane. On one side was a metallic flower, and in the middle was a comportment of crystal dust. And on the other side was a hole. That was the weapon that she called Thyrsus. At that moment, she made her decision.

Shalltear walked out of the room the next day and was already wearing her mask. She already took a shower and looked as if nothing had happened.

"Hello, Shalltear. I was waiting for you. I wanted to tell you that there will be a change of plans", said Phrygia while caressing the petals of her cane. I decided that I would go back to be a huntress".

The now ex-guard said with a nervous smile. Shalltear only nodded.

"I know that I promised you to unlock your aura, but I guess you can have it unluck in your combat school. By the way..." The woman went and grabbed a scroll device. "This is for you. I remembered that you did not have one yourself when you entered. Yesterday, I wanted to call you, but... yeah, that's when I realised you didn't have one..."

Shalltear grabbed the device. Phrygia smiled a little, "It's not that modern, but it will help you. I already added the little data about you, so you can use it as ID, and you should not have any problems in any kingdom."

"I have already sent the recommendation to Patch Combat school. That would be the best combat school", the woman finished, and her urges to hug the smaller won over her.

A few hours later, Shalltear was on the line to board an Airbus. A flying transport Shalltear was interested, as she was the one that had a similar idea in the Sorcerer Kingdom. She received the instructions on arriving at Patch and the tickets for this Airbus.

She entered, sat on the seat, and closed the window and pilot cabinet. Although she understood little, she could see what was on the pilot's side.

Her trip should have been for them to arrive in Vale, precisely, to the capital; from them, she would need to take a ship to Patch. That's what it should be, but she wondered if the airship had any kind of defence while in the air. She granted it's convenient transportation, especially for those who can't cast [fly] and is more comfortable than flying on an Ice Dragon. But the Dragons can defend themselves from attacks.

She thought for a moment and decided to test a theory. She was told the Grimm were attracted to negativity, so she cast [Ray of Negativity] to the airship. She knew very well that because it's a machine, it won't have any damage from it. But the energy would remain for a short period.

No one seemed to notice, and she remained silent for several minutes until the airship moved abruptly. In the sky, three Grimm beasts appeared. They looked like the Hippogriffs used in the imperial army but with the typical characteristics of Grimm.

The ship started to shoot with guns that were on the top. A voice inside the ship sounded, "Please remain calm and in your seat. We are facing some disturbance, but it will be dealt with shortly."

Shalltear remained sat, but she kept looking at the window until it was shut when a metallic plate appeared to cover the window. This was another way to combat the Grimm because if they left the window open and the people saw the Grimm, they might get even more scared, which would attract more Grimm.

The vampire was upset because of this. She won't be able to see their defences at all. She only heard the explosions and the screeches of the Grimm. Then, a big explosion and the ship balanced to one side, and the feeling of falling free was felt by everyone. The next thing the people inside the ship saw was the green leaves of the trees.

The ship ended inside the thick forest. Some corpses were hanging on the trees, some with full bodies, others with their organs outside.

It was late night, and Shalltear was standing with no scratch. She was wearing her typical purple dress but forgot to remove the mask. She took some corpses and sent them inside a portal she had opened. She searched for the clothes, devices, and weapons. She found a suitcase with crystal dust inside and sent it to the portal. She found the weapon used in the airship and also sent it to the same place.

The vampire was satisfied with what she found and was thinking of returning, but suddenly she stopped, "Ara-ara. Do we have here a pipping tom?"

From the branch of some trees, a man appeared. He was around 30 years old with greying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. The man took a weapon from his back and pointed at Shalltear, "I hear the crash. Never thought a White fang would do this".

The man jumped to attack, but Shalltear did not move. He swung his sword, and she used her pinky to stop him. The man got angry and continued attacking, but everything was in vain. He saw the red eyes of the girl and decided to distance himself.

He looked at his opponent. She may be short, but she was powerful. If he could not do anything to her nail, maybe it had to do with the type of Faunus she was.

"Could you stop? I was about to leave either way," said Shalltear.

The huntsman got confused and started to think, 'a white fang that does not want to kill a human even when it seems they have the advantage. But those eyes... It may be a trap, or maybe...'

"My name is Qrow", said the man. The girl did not answer back. "Qrow Branwen", said the man.

Shalltear felt she was having a deja vu, so she stopped thinking and concentrated on what the man said.

"Branwen?" replied in a low voice Shalltear. That was the exact name of the bandit's tribe and the last name of their leader. Then she snapped out of her thoughts and replied with only a curtsy. Then she opened a portal and left the place.

The man looked at the portal and how easily his opponent escaped. He saved his sword and then looked around, "it's going to be a hell of a report to make." He then proceeded to take a flask of alcohol and drink a little, "I don't know how Tai would react. I mean, he got Ruby afterwards, so I guess they are even".

Inside the improvised office, back in the old port of Re-Estize, Shalltear showed up. She walked and sat in the chair, "I am a vampire, an undead; why do I feel so tired?" She leaned back and just turned to see the number of things in front of her desk, everything she had just got in the air crash.

She was sitting, messaging her head, when suddenly something came to her mind, "I should have used another name! Ainz-sama created his Momon persona. Argh!" She felt depressed.

She frowned, stood up, and said, "I need to create a new plan. I can't follow Ainz-sama step by step anymore. But first, a bath. I deserve one!"
