In a presentation hall, Gabriel, Tomoe, and a man in black Stepson are standing together as Adrien, Lila, Kagami, and surprisingly, Daniel and Jacob.
"The ties that bind us are precious. Unique." Gabriel started while wearing an all-white suit and gloves. "They can all be found inside a jewel. Unique. Alliance." He then held up a ring as the screen behind them showed a video of Adrien doing his homework. "Alliance informs."
On the video, Adrien pressed the Alliance ring as it showed a projection of Lila. "Alliance, can you please tell me what the square root of 71,174 is?" Adrien asked.
"8.14261." The AI Lila answered.
"Alliance guides." Gabriel continued while the video showed Lila walking on the sidewalk before looking at her ring, which showed Adrien.
"Alliance, can you please tell me where I can find the best shoes around here?" Lila asked.
"500 feet down down the street is a Gabriel store." The AI Adrien said while showing a map of a direction.
"Alliance protects," Gabriel added while showing Adrien again, relaxing in the park before his ring showed a symbol of Monarch's symbol. "Megakuma alert! Megakuma alert!" The ring repeated.
"Thank you, Alliance. Can you please tell me where to hide?" Adrien asked for the ring, which showed Lila again.
The video then showed Lila and Adrien running towards a store with Gabriel Agreste's logo on it they walked inside and held hands as the video zoomed in on the rings. "Created by Tsurugi. Designed by Gabriel. Funded by Richter. Alliance." The video finished with the symbols of their companies.
"Bringing you closer together." Gabriel finished as the crowd started cheering, standing up and clapping their hands.
"Oh, your father is a genius." Lila complimented Adrien and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Wow, Jacob. I was surprised your father funded those." Daniel commented.
Jacob shrugged, "After Mr. Agreste asked him to help, saying it would to a better and healthier world, he agreed."
"Well, I'm surprised that it was your mom who helped make them," Kagami said to Daniel.
"Well, she is one of Tsurugi Industries best and most trusted workers." Daniel simply said. "She always wanted a better way of communicating than phones that were a lot more distracting."
"But you have to admit, these are seriously next-gen," Jacob said with a smile. "Think about it, having your phones on the tip of your finger, literally. Really makes sure you never lose them." He stated.
"Eh, I prefer hands-on things than just kept saying Alliance or a word every time." Daniel shrugged before they noticed Gabriel waving up to Adrien and Lila. "Looks like you're father wanted you and Lila on stage, Adrien." He said.
"Well, let's go," Lila said as she stood up and walked up to the stage.
Adrien gave a smile and then stood up and walked up after Lila while the others watched as the crowd kept cheering. "Looks like you are taking a break from being on stage, Kagami," Jacob commented.
"You're not jealous?" Daniel asked with a smirk.
"Actually, these are one of the rarest moments where I can sit this one out," Kagami said with a smile before turning to Daniel and Jacob. "And it's nice meeting you two. I've heard that you both met Adrien before?"
"Well, he was all over Paris because, well you know, a model and all," Jacob said before smiling. "But we have family connections with him, like my father for example. Sometimes we go to one of the private parties his father set up,"
Daniel then turned to Adrien and squinted a bit, "Yeah but, there's something familiar about him." He said.
"What do you mean, buddy?" Jacob asked as he and Kagami were wondering what he was thinking.
"I don't know how but, I can sense that I've seen Adrien somewhere other than a billboard and I can't put my finger on it." He said rubbing his head.
Kagami just gave him an assuring look. "I'm sure you'll remember eventually, but for now, let's just enjoy their achievements," She said while gesturing to Adrien, his father, Ritcher, and her mother.
Daniel and Jacob look at each other and shrug as they just let this moment pass while also feeling proud of Adrien and the rest of them, Daniel is still having a familiar feeling about Adrien.
A little bit later, Adrien, Jacob, Daniel, and Kagami are walking down the sidewalk, Lila having left to meet some delegates who wanted to congratulate her, while their parents were discussing the success of the Alliance ring, "Gotta say, even he doesn't do it much, your father sure knows how to make an appearance." Daniel commented to Adrien.
"I know. It's so rare for him to be in the open these days it's practically all over the news." Adrien said with a wide smile. "And he finally let me be free from my Modeling career, meaning I finally have some time to myself." He added.
"That's great to hear, Adrien," Kagami said with a proud smile. "You must've been waiting for so long for something like this,"
"Oh, more than you can say, Kagami," Adrien said with a smile.
"And that also means that you can be out of your own house more times than ever," Jacob added. "Maybe even swing by Marinette's?"
Adrien blinked and turned to him, "Uh, M-Marinette?" He asked in surprise.
"Come on, Adrien. You've started seeing Marinette differently for a while." Kagami said with a teasing smirk. "Even I can tell, which why I gave up our relationship since you're heart is set for her."
"Yeah, and with Marinette it's obvious as black and white," Daniel added with a chuckle. "Seriously, I don't think there's anyone in the school who doesn't know she's got it bad for you."
"Are we really that obvious?" Adrien asked with an embarrassing smile.
"Dude, she had pictures of your face all over her walls," Daniel answered as the three laughed together while Adrien joined in.
"Yeah, but that's nothing new," Adrien said with a smile. "I mean, I do have pictures everywhere." He added while gesturing to the many posters and billboards of himself all over Paris.
"Yeah, that's true too," Jacob said with a chuckle. "I'm just glad my dad didn't make me that popular. He's always more about people than money."
They then turned to the large television that showed Nadja with the latest news update, "Don't bemused, it's just the news. Though Monarch has stolen all of Ladybug and Cat Noir's teammates miraculous, we now have new Miraculous heroes to help them in their fight against Monarch and the Akumas!" Nadja announced as it showed the video of the Zodiac Teams, Ladybug, and Cat Noir fighting Ikari Gozen clones. "And with the launch and rapid selling of Tomoe Tsurugi, Gabriel Agreste, and Ricther Econ's new Alliance rings for better and safer communication, hope still burns bright here in Paris."
The four watched the news with smiles. "It's nice to know that there are other Miraculous heroes out there to fight with Ladybug and Cat Noir," Kagami said.
"I'm still relieved that there are other Miraculous out there that Monarch didn't get," Adrien added.
Jacob and Daniel look at each other with smiles. "Well, we're sure that with them, Ladybug and Cat Noir will get the other ones back." Daniel declared as Jacob nodded.
"I certainly hope so," Kagami said as in her mind she was worried for Longg and what Monarch could be doing to him and the other Kwamis.
"Oh, I'm sure they got a plan to get them back," Jacob assured Kagami. "It will just take time and-GIANT FLYING T-REX HIT THE DIRT!" He yelled as ducked down.
"Wait what?" Adrien asked before they all turned and looked up at a T-Rex with penguin-like wings soaring down and they immediately followed Jacob's example and ducked down, "Okay, just when you think you've seen it all in this city." Adrien commented.
"You think this is one of Monarch's tricks?" Daniel asked in disbelief.
"No, I think this is one of Dr. Anne-Jeanne Thoexanne du Bocquale's experiments." Kagami said, "Ever since Monarch stole the Miraculous the city has been looking for other means of protecting Paris."
"With flying-dino hybrids?" Jacob asked in surprise.
"Some people have pretty crazy ideas of non-Miraculous protection ideas." Daniel said as they stood up, "We should get to cover, and wait for the heroes to corral these Prehistoric Pigeons before we get the worst kind of bird droppings." He joked.
"Agreed. And not to find out I'm allergic to Pigeonosaur-Rexes." Adrien added as they all laughed as they stood up.
"Let's get back home and wait for Ladybug, Cat Noir, and their new team to deal with this issue," Jacob suggested, to which they all nodded. "Well, see you two later."
"See ya!/Bye!/Later!" Adrien, Kagami, and Daniel as they all went to separate directions while Jacob rushed into an alleyway.
Qinglong then appeared, "Creatures of the past reborn with creatures of the present?" He asked with an irritated expression, "Ugh, humans always messing with forces beyond their control."
"Well, let's get out there and get things under control." Jacob said, "Qinglong, Wind Rages!" He called out as he transformed into Hydrake and did a hero pose.
With Daniel, he was in a phone booth with no one around as he looked outside before Huanglong appeared. "You humans have a disturbing love for tempering the laws of nature," Huánglóng commented with a brow.
"Hey, buddy, this is shocking even for me, let's just get Tyranno-Dodos back on the ground." Daniel told his Kawmi, "Huánglóng, Heaven Ascend!" He yelled out, transforming into Dragold while seething out his golden sword.
As he jumped over the rooftops Dragold saw a T-rex pigeon flying overhead and jumped onto its back, "Yee-haw! Getta along little T-rex!" Dragold called out like a western cowboy, holding onto the T-rex pigeon while also making sure to try and get it under control.
As he heard a sneeze, he turned and saw the other heroes, Ladybug, Hydrake, and Phoenix on one and Terrapin, Caspian, and Cat Noir on another, "Hey Dragold! Nice day for a flight, huh?" Ladybug said as she stirred her T-rex.
"Couldn't agree with you more, Spots." Dragold replied before noticing Cat Noir sniffling, "You Feline alright Cat Noir?" He quipped.
Cat Noir rubbed his nose before chuckling. "Oh, very funny. I'm just allergic to pigeons, but turns out, I'm also allergic to Pigeonosaur-Rexes. AAAHH-CCHOO!" He sneezed, making him almost lose his balance before he quickly grabbed on while giving a sheepish chuckle.
Dragold noted what he said, 'Wait, 'Pigeonosaur-Rexes'? How did he…' He was cut off by his thoughts as the T-rex pigeons started thrashing around a bit. "Whoa, okay let's set these things down somewhere!"
"Ladybug, you and Cat Noir dealt stuff like this before, right? Do either of you have any ideas on how we get these guys under control!?" Caspian questioned.
Ladybug thought for a moment before snapping her fingers, "I think know someone who can help!" She said before turning the T-Rex she was riding away, "Follow me!"
"You guys heard the laACHOO!" Cat Noir sneezed while Terrapin flinched.
"Seriously, how is it a cat allergic to birds? Don't you eat these things for breakfast?" Terrapin asked.
Cat Noir grinned, "That's Mice you're thinking about, I prefer birds for lunch, specifically chicken." He joked.
"Heh, solid meat for me." Caspian joked back.
"Cats are the kings of the food chains." Cat Noir quipped as he and Caspian fistpumped each other.
"Getting back on topic, Ladybug, lead the way!" Dragold called out.
Ladybug nodded as she managed to use her yo-yo to steer her Rex towards the park where they saw Xavier Ramier sitting on a bench. "There he is!" Ladybug pointed to the man.
"Xavier Ramier?" Phoenix asked in confusion, "How can he help? Does he know dinosaurs?"
"No, but he knows pigeons," Ladybug said with a smile. "Phoenix, fly down and bring him up!"
"On it!" Phoenix nodded as she flew down, grabbing Xavier, who was started by her appearance, and then flew back up to the others while holding onto his arms. "Well, here he is."
"Ladybug? What is going on?!" Xavier asked before noting the T-Rex pigeons. "Oh, and hello to you as well my little, er, very large friends." He greeted.
"Mr. Ramier, do you have any Pigeon feed and or your whistle?" Ladybug asked.
Xavier reached out from behind his back, "I do, and I know I'm not allowed to feed my Pigeons but-" He tried to explain, thinking they were hear because he was breaking the rules again.
Ladybug raised a hand, "Don't worry , this time your Pigeon feed will help the city." She assured, "Hold it out to the T-Rexes while Phoenix flies back to the lab." She explained.
Xavier, immediately understood, "Oh of course." He said before taking out his whistle and blowing it as the T-Rexes turned to him, "Here my friends, I have some very delicious treats for you." He said, holding out the bag of pigeon feed.
The T-Rex pigeons all started sniffing the began flying towards him Pheonix took it as her cue and flew towards du Bocquale's lab as the other heroes steered the T-Rexes after them.
Once they got the T-rexes back to the lab and subdued, the people congratulated the heroes and Xavier for saving the city. "And so, Paris has once again been saved by our heroes and its own Pigeon enthusiast, Ramier," Nadja reported.
The heroes were about to bring their fists in before Ladybug turned to Xavier, "You too ." She said. "This was your win too."
"Why you are very much welcome, Ladybug," Xavier said as he joined them.
"Pound it!" The Eight declared as Xavier blew his whistle which got more pigeons and the T-Rex pigeons his attention.
"Looks like my love for my dear pigeon has finally been appreciated," Xavier said happily.
The seven heroes looked at Xavier with a smile. "Well, we better get going. Never know when an Akuma could appear." Dragold as they all separated.
The Zodiac team all met up at the same spot before they transformed back to normal as their Kwamis appeared.
"Okay, Paris really has strange events. I mean, akumatize villains, common knowledge, but this is one of those days." Sam commented.
"Eh, I've seen weirder." Kara shrugged.
"Really?" Molly asked.
Kara turned to her, "I once saw the Eiffel Tower dancing. It was really strange." She said.
Xuan Wu sighed. "That must've been the Kawmi of Illusion, Trixx's doing," He said, "When Kwami's use their powers without a holder, the results can get rather…strange."
"Which is another reason why you need holders to control the powers better," Sam stated.
"Exactly." Xuan Wu said.
"Well, that's not the only weird akuma around here," Daniel said as he rubbed his chin, "I remember this one banana-themed villain riding a gorilla and turning people into bananas, uh who was that one again?"
"Chloe Bourgeois." Sam, Kara, and Molly answered irritably.
"Yeah, her." Daniel nodded. "That was strange, even for her. I mean, from being akumatize, at least Monarch could make it not so weird."
"Daniel, nothing about that girl makes sense." Sam said bitterly, "She's been stomping on people for years, causing more Akumas than anyone else in the city and then she somehow gets hold of a Miraculous and blabbed it out to the whole city that she was a superhero. She wouldn't stop boasting about it for weeks and it only got worse after Maledikator." He pointed out.
"And when, Monarch, when he was still Hawkmoth, offered her Miraculous back if she helped him, she accepted and willing got akumatized, exposing all the heroes, minus Ladybug and Cat Noir, identities to him." Kara added with a frown, "And then she started acting even worse than she was before, even towards her own sister."
"Yeah, and Zoe is a way better person than her when Marinette told the school not to compare her with her Chloe," Jacob added.
"Makes you wish that Ladybug gave her the Bee Miraculous from the start instead of that snotty, good-for-nothing-" Molly was cut off when Daniel raised his hands.
"Okay, okay guys calm down." He said as they turned to them, "Look, I get it. Chloe Bourgeois isn't my favorite person either, and she did do a lot of bad things, even before the Miraculous came up." He explained, though he personally never had to deal with Chloe's bullying, "But I can definitely feel she has some potential to be a better person, she just needs the right encouragement and real effort."
"If she ever makes the effort." Sam scoffed. "I mean, that girl is as stubborn as a mule kicking titanium."
"She never admits when she's wrong and she never feels bad about what she does." Molly added, "How can you expect someone like that to change?"
Daniel thought for a moment before he shrugged. "Oh, nothing short but the old slap of Reality Check to the face?" He suggested.
The four looked at Daniel with surprised expressions while the Kwamis were confused by it.
"Seriously?" Sam asked.
"What, if Chloe needs a slap of reality, and I mean a serious one that might knock some sense into her," Daniel explained.
Molly looked at him like he was mad, "You're not, actually gonna slap Chloe Bourgeois in the face, are you?" She asked, knowing that touching Chloe in any way was a death wish.
Daniel looked at Molly with a brow. "I mean a metaphorical slap, not literally. I may not like her like the rest of the school, but I'm not crazy." He pointed out.
"Are you sure giving her a reality check would work?" Jacob asked. "I mean, if Ladybug or Adrien couldn't change her, what chances do you have?"
"Exactly, I think Chloe might have got the full point if it's from someone who doesn't know her," Daniel said, knowing that Ladybug and Adrien know Chloe too personally to deliver the full and hard truth.
The others were surprised by Daniel's confidence as they looked at one another before looking at Daniel. "You do have a point there. But it's You're funeral, buddy." Jacob said as they still found it hard to believe someone like Chloe could change.
Daniel sighed tiredly before he noticed Cat Noir and Ladybug jumping by, "Ladybug and Cat Noir, again?" He said in confusion.
"An Akuma?" Kara wondered.
"What else would there be? A meteor, cow, flying building?" Sam questioned sarcastically.
"Okay, let's not argue. We gotta go see what is going on." Molly spoke as the others nodded.
After feeding their Kwamis and jumping across the rooftops, they ran to a shopping center where they saw what looked like Dark Owl and Ladybug and Cat Noir staring into a pink orb of light.
" ?" Phoenix said in surprise as they watched him approach the frozen heroic duo. "What are they doing, why are they just sitting there, don't they see him?!"
"Wait, look closer!" Dragold called out as he pointed to the light in front of the two hero duos. "It looks like that orb is keeping them like that. And I sense a Miraculous power within it." He said as they all went wide eyes.
"Meaning Monarch gave another Miraculous's power to a villain, which power this time?" Caspian called out.
"I think I sense… I think it's the power of the Pig Miraculous!" Dragold confirmed, "The Power of Jubilation!"
"But that power makes you see what you desire most, that's not dangerous," Phoenix stated.
"Maybe not, but it makes others frozen like statues while lost in their little dream world!" Terrapin explained, "Making it easy to snag their Miraculous!"
Dragold drew his sword, "Okay, I'll snap them out of it, you guys keep Dark Owl busy and find the Akumatized Object." He explained, "Once you do, I can extract Daizzi and her Miraculous out of it."
"On it, chief!" Hydrake said while the others nodded.
"And watch out for Dark Owl's new power and gadgets, they can be unpredictable. So keep your distance!" Dragold instructed.
"Don't worry, he wouldn't know what hit him," Terrapin assured as the Zodiac Team all jumped into action.
Right when Dark Owl was about to grab Ladybug's earring Phoenix landed on his shoulders, "Uh-unh! Let's keep this between us Birds of Feather!" Phoenix quipped as she flipped Dark Owl away from the helpless heroes.
Dark Owl flipped to his legs as he saw the three of Zodiac holders land next to Phoenix. "So, we finally meet, new heroes. Maybe I should give you your own dream world as well." He said as he brought out his blaster, but then it was smacked away when Caspian tossed one of his sais at his hand.
"Sorry pal! But I've slept enough today!" Caspian yelled out as Dark Owl then started throwing his Owlmerangs at them, which they either dodged or deflected and started going in close as they managed to go in hand-to-hand combat.
While the four were distracting Dark Owl, Dragold then rushed up to Ladybug and Cat Noir, who were still frozen, while avoiding looking into the pink light. He frowned knowing that they were experiencing their greatest dream and he had to wake them from it, "Sorry guys, but this is for your own good! Domination!" He called out his power as he grabbed both their shoulders, as the golden energy flowed over them, the pink orb disappeared once he used up his powers.
Ladybug and Cat Noir then blinked and looked around, "Huh, wha? What happened?" Ladybug asked in surprise as she looked at her clock Lucky Charm.
"Aw man. It was just a dream?" Cat Noir whined while slugging his shoulders.
"Up and at'em sleepy heads. Time to go to school." Dragold quipped, which got the two heroes' attention.
"Dragold, what happened?" Ladybug asked as she and Cat Noir stood up.
Dragold jerked his thumb behind them, "Dark Owl somehow used the power of the Pig to send you both to Lala land." He explained.
"Oh, now I remember," Ladybug said. "He blasted us with a pink light, which must've been the power of Jubilation."
"And we were having a great dream together." Cat Noir complained with his arms up. "Oh, now it's personal."
"You'll get you're chance," Dragold assured before they saw Caspian being flung right past them as he crashed into the wall. "But right now, I think the others could use our help," He said.
"Right!" They both said as the three heroes joined the others.
Phoenix was flying around while trying to dodge Dark Owl's birderangs, but there were just too many to dodge before she got tangled up in a bola and fell to the pavement with a grunt. "Okay, that hurt." She groaned.
Terrapin charged at Dark Owl with her battle staff raised as she deflected some projectiles, but Dark Owl managed to grab her staff and tossed her over his shoulder before he brought out a gadget and placed it behind her back. "What the-" She asked before a grabbling hook was launched out, making her go flying and hit a wall. "Aahh!" She yelled out.
Hydrake then came rushing up as he managed to bring out his glaive and was about to strike Darkowl before he deflected them with his arms. "Glaive to the face! I said to the face!" He called out before Dark Owl stomped on his toes really hard. "OW! Tha-" He called out before Dark Owl grabbed him by the jaw and tossed him to a rooftop.
Hydrake groaned as he got up and gave a glare. "Hey, man, you forget to grab a Miraculous, or are you just toying with us?!" He questioned before he was suddenly caught in a rope.
"I like to have fun while fighting!" Dark Owl answered evilly.
"Oh crud," Hydrake muttered before he was tossed away again, this time, hitting Phoenix as he crashed into her before he ended up on top of her. He pushed himself up as she looked up, "Oh, uh, hey?" Hydrake said, noticing the position they were in.
"Uh, nice of you to join the party," Phoenix said while blushing a bit in embarrassment.
"Well, I was thrown around by a guy in an owl suit, so," Hydrake said as he helped Phoenix up and gave an embarrassed chuckle before clearing her throat, "We should probably get back to the fight."
"Y-Yeah." Phoenix said in agreement as the two drew their weapons.
Caspian was clashing out before he was kicked to the ground and groaned. "Okay, time to get serious. Tiger Gripper!" His claws glowed as he managed to grab Dark Owl's legs and tossed him back before he stood up and grabbed a chariot nearby and tossed it at Dark Owl, who dodged it before he was kicked away by Caspian. "It's gonna take more than a guy in a bird costume to stop us!"
"Okay, how about my trusty taser?" Dark Owl asked and brought out a taser from his belt and turned the dial, "Trusty, Level seven." He said before shooting it at Caspian, zapping him.
Terrapin saw and gasped, "Caspian!" She called out before she jumped in and the two clashed weapons before she was kicked in the gut and tossed her at Caspian.
Both Phoenix and Hydrake tried to double-attack him, but Dark Owl caught both their arms and spun them around as they hit the wall as they all groaned.
"You new heroes are still green. No match for a true hero." Dark Owl gloated as he took his blaster, "But for your heroic efforts, I shall grant you the greatest Dre-"
He was caught off when he was hit in the head and a loud ringing blasted right next to his ears. "First rule of heroics: Never assume you've won till the other guy is out on his back!" Dragold yelled as Dark Owl covered his ears.
"Aaah! Turn that thing off!" Dark Owl yelled.
"Sure, just before I take something that belongs to us!" Dragold shouted as he drew his sword. "Now, back the heck away from my team and I'll take back what I came for!" He ordered.
Dark Owl raised his hands and moved away as Dragold sheathed his sword and did as Su-Han taught him, "Miraculous Extraction!" He said moving his arms in a circle before bringing them together and extending.
Dark Owl felt some energy leaving him as a pink glow illuminated his mask as the Light mask of Monarch glowed.
At his Lair, Monarch felt the extraction happening as well, "Gaah! What, what's happening?!" He yelled as his light mask activated without his consent.
Monarch then looked at his ring and noticed that the pig ring started flickering before turning to Daizzi's cage as she started glowing, "What's this?!" He asked in shock.
Daizzi felt something was pulling her and she was overjoyed when she realized what it was, "I'm Free!" She cheered before she disappeared in a pink flash, along with her Miraculous kept inside with her.
Monarch gasped in shock at what he saw. "NOOO!" He yelled out in complete rage as the Kwamis in the cages all cheered that another one of their sisters was freed.
Back with the heroes, the pink light came out of Dark Owl as it formed a sphere that flew over to Dragold as he stood straight, brought his hands together and the glow faded. He removed his hand revealing Daizzi and her Miraculous in his hand, the Kawmi looking very weak, "Daizzi, are you okay?" He asked in concern.
"Just hungry and exhausted from over-absorption." Daizzi moaned a bit.
Dark Owl groaned as he fell on his butt, feeling dazed. "W-What did you do to me?" He questioned.
"I took away you're Miraculous powers and took back the Miraculous of the Pig," Dragold said while holding Daizzi and her Miraculous close cautiously. "Monarch will never abuse her powers ever again."
Cat Noir then approached him, "Now all that's left is the Akuma, Cataclysm." He said with a little less enthusiasm as he simply poked Dark Owl's mask as it cracked and the Akuma flew out.
Ladybug saw this as she caught the yo-yo, having the same expression as Cat Noir as Dark Owl turned back to Principal Damocles while the alliance ring frizzed out after having a ping symbol inside it disintegrate.
"Bye-bye little Butterfly," Ladybug said simply, letting the purified butterfly go.
The other Zodiac members got their bearings as they walked up to the other three, noticing that Dragold was holding Daizzi and her Miraculous.
Ladybug and Cat Noir also seemed to notice as they looked stunned, "It, it worked." Ladybug said slowly before she was smiling again, "It worked!" She cheered a little loudly.
"Daizzi and the Miraculous of the Pig are safe." Cat Noir declared with a bit of joy and a smile.
"That's another Miraculous down," Hydrake said.
"But she doesn't look so good," Terrapin said while looking at Daizzi in concern, noticing her exhausted expression. "Are you okay, little one?"
"Just tired and hungry, great one," Daizzi said as her stomach growled. "I was being used by a mean man after all." She added with a slight chuckle.
"We'll get you some food soon, Daizzi, but first," Ladybug then opened up her yo-yo as she brought out a magical charm with Dark Owl's color scheme, and gave it to Mr. Damocles. "Mr. Damocles, this Magical Charm will help you remember that negative emotions can cloud our judgment."
Dr. Damocles nodded in understanding and walked away before Ladybug took her Lucky Charm, "Miraculous Ladybug!" She declared that the magic spread throughout the area and the damage was undone.
"Pound it!" The Five Zodiacs declared doing their fistbump before noticing Ladybug and Cat Noir didn't join in.
"What's the matter you two? Are you okay?" Caspian asked in concern.
"Yeah, we got the Pig Miraculous back and saved the day. Aren't you happy?" Phoenix asked.
"We are but," Ladybug said before holding her hands, "That Jubilation Dream, it felt so real."
"It was a like dream come true," Cat Noir sighed, "But that's all it'll ever be."
The Five frowned in sympathy, knowing that even though the dream was great, waking up from it was terrible.
Terrapin, pulling out her comforting doctor instincts walked up to them, "Or, maybe it's just a dream that will come true, someday." She said holding their shoulders, "Nothing is impossible if you have the drive and put in the effort to make it happen."
"Are you sure?" Cat Noir asked while Ladybug was wondering the same thing.
"I'm sure. If you want something that you dreamt of, you find a way to make it happen." Terrapin assured with a smile. "The only way it'll fail is when you give up."
Ladybug and Cat Noir smiled before they felt their Miraculouses beeping, "We better go, time's almost up." Ladybug said.
"I'll make a quick pit stop, I think Daizzi would like to see her owner again," Dragold said. "Her name is Rose, right?" He asked Ladybug as she nodded, "Good, I already know where she lives, gotta jet!" He said before running off.
The four Zodiacs looked at him go while Ladybug and Cat Noir took off before they timed out. "Dragold sure is a fast learner from Su-Han." Terrapin commented.
"Sure is, but let's not pat ourselves on the back yet." Caspian reminded, "Daizzi and Fluff might be safe, but there are still 13 more miraculous to take back, and we need to get every last one."
Terrapin nodded as Hydrake and Phoenix glanced at each other, still thinking about what happened earlier, and started to see each other differently than before.
In her room, Rose was drawing in her notebook. She had a sad expression as she drew a picture of herself and Daizzi together, even if it was for a short time when Ladybug needed her, she still missed her deeply.
Then a tap on the window was heard, which got Rose's attention as she turned and opened the window but only saw Dragold, standing on the beam, "Dragold?" Rose said in surprise.
"Left you a little present from our last battle," Dragold said, "Take care of her, and then meet me and the others at the Jardins du Trocadero, Pigella." He said before jumping away.
Rose looked confused before she looked down and noticed the small miracle box on the window. She gasped and took it inside as she closed the window.
She then opened the box and saw a familiar anklet inside as a pink orb flew out and zoomed around her before it turned into a familiar Kwami, "Daizzi!" Rose cheered.
Daizzi looked at Rose with a weak smile. "Hi, Rose. It's good to see you again." She said before she moaned and started to fall before Rose caught her.
"Oh no, are you okay?" Rose asked in concern as she held her Kwami.
"I'm fine. Though I could use some food, please." Daizzi said while holding her stomach.
Rose smiled, "Of course, just tell me what you want and it's yours." She told her while bringing her to her room.
"You wouldn't happen to have any chocolate, would ya?" Daizzi asked.
"I most certainly do. It's good to have you back safe and sound, Daizzi. I've missed you so much," Rose said while nuzzling her Kwami.
"I've missed you too, Rose. And it's good to be free." Daizzi said with a smile before Rose hid her in one of her pockets and then put on her Miraculous while looking at it longingly before exiting her room to get some food for her Kwami.
At Monarch's lair, Monarch growled as he looked at the ring of the Pig as its miraculous counterpart and the Kwami no longer in its cage, before he punched the floor in anger, which caused it to crack.
"How? How could they manage to take a Miraculous from me!?" Monarch yelled in rage.
"It is the power of Miraculous Extraction," Sass explained with a hint of smugness, "A technique only those in possession of one of the Great ones Miraculous can perform."
Monarch growled as he stood up and looked out the window. "I've underestimated you Holders of the Five Zodiacs, but rest assured that will be the first and last time you ever steal a Miraculous from me. And soon, you will all sink into the oblivion!" He yelled out as his window closed up.
As sunset began to fade and the night started to form, the heroes sat on the roof of Jardins du Trocadero while Ladybug explained how the shop owner of the arts and crafts store was targeted for being assumed as her civilian identity after a misunderstanding.
"So, because of you wearing an alliance ring at the time during the whole T-Rex Pigeon incident, because the shop owner was just trying to be a hero like you, and you tried to talk out of it, Monarch suspected that shop owner was you?" Caspian asked with a brow.
"Yeah pretty crazy, huh?" Ladybug said sheepishly.
"Ladybug, I get that it was a right call to talk people out of going around pretending to be us, but that doesn't mean we should discourage them from helping themselves." Dragold said looking out to the city, "We all have a hero inside us, we just need to know we step in and bring that hero out, that's the only way things in life will change." He told her.
Ladybug thought for a moment, hearing those words before, "You're right, Dragold. I guess I forgot what being a hero is about. Not the powers or the secret identities, but the responsibility to others." She said.
"For the ones you love, anything is worth that risk," Pigella said with a smile as the heroes turned to her in surprise.
"Pigella! Welcome back to the team!" Cat Noir announced with a thumbs up.
Pigella giggled as she came up to the other heroes and sat down next to them. "It's good to be back. But I am worried that Monarch might try and take Daizzi again since he knows who I am." She said in concern.
"Not to worry, when I used Miraculous Extraction to take back the Miraculous from the Megakuma, it also erased Monarch's memories of you being Pigella," Dragold explained, "So Monarch won't be coming after you again anytime soon." He assured.
Pigella looked relieved before she looked at Ladybug, "I guess you want this back now, right?" She asked.
Ladybug looked at the anklet Pigella was showing before shaking her head. "No. You keep it. I think it's time the Pig Miraculous is best kept with its holder. Like Bunnyx, it's too dangerous to keep them together." She said with a smile.
"Really?" Pigella asked with a hopeful smile.
"Yes. You deserved it." Ladybug said with a smile before Pigella hugged Ladybug, which surprised her.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ladybug! I promise I won't let you down!" Pigella cheered as Ladybug chuckled happily.
"I know you won't. Just be careful and make sure to stay low if you ever decide to transform." Ladybug instructed as the two broke the hug. "Don't want Monarch finding out your identity again."
"I will. I promise!" Pigella cheered.
"But there's still one thing that's been bugging me," Dragold spoke in a thoughtful look.
"What are you talking about, Dragold?" Cat Noir asked as the others turned to him.
"How did Monarch make a connection between Ladybug and the shop owner in the first place?" Dragold asked while scratching his head. "Because from what you tell, Ladybug, that ring was monitoring your every move when we were fighting those T-rex pigeons. How would Monarch know about that?"
Cat Noir had a thought, "Well, the rings were created by Agreste, Tsurugi, and Econ's companies." He reminded them, "Maybe the connection is there?"
"Do you think someone in those companies could actually be Monarch, or at least working for him?" Hydrake asked, worried if someone in his father's company, or even his father himself, could be Monarch.
"Not all three of them. Richter Econ was funding it so I doubt he or anyone in his company would have access to step counting." Cat Noir said.
"So that leaves the Agreste and Tsurugi companies. But who?" Terrapin asked in thought.
"Pigella, did Daizzi tell you who Monarch was?" Phoenix asked.
Pigella shook her head, "I tried, but she couldn't tell me, Kwami's can't tell their holders' names, remember?" She said. "Not that it would help, as Daizzi was so scared at being in Monarch's clutches that she blocked out any memories about him."
"Rats. Meaning that even when we reclaim the Miraculous, we still wouldn't know who Monarch is." Hydrake grumbled.
"At least we know that there's a connection between the rings, Monarch and the Agreste and Tsurugi Industries," Caspian said.
"And just to be on the safe side, we must not wear any Alliance rings," Dragold said with a serious look. "Ladybug just showed us that through the Alliance Rings Monarch managed to get an idea of who she was, meaning the same could happen to us if we're not careful,"
Phoenix then had a thought, "Wait, how could the Alliance Ring even work through her Miraculous costume? Any other step counter wouldn't be able to track that." She noted.
"I don't know. It's beyond even me." Ladybug said in confusion, "I was wearing the Alliance ring before I transformed it should've been shielded like the rest of my clothes or items."
Dragold hummed in suspicion, "Okay, if Monarch is connected to Alliance it's obvious that somehow programmed them to work outside of Miraculous magic." He theorized.
"Only someone with a high position at Agreste or Tsurugi could be able to do that." Terrapin noted, "At least it narrows down who the culprit is."
Dragold nodded before turning to Pigella. "Pigella, please tell us you are not wearing an Alliance ring now?" He asked.
Pigella shook her head, "No, I didn't have enough money to buy one." She explained
"Good, because from at this point, none of us should wear one of those rings." Dragold stated as he looked out to the horizon, "Not while Monarch is still out there."
"I thought that with Alliance things in Paris would be safer," Hydrake sighed. "But now it only made things more dangerous for us."
Phoenix then placed an assuring hand on Hydrake's shoulder. "Don't worry. Even with Monarch hijacking Alliance, we'll still save the other Kwamis."
"And from this point, with each Miraculous we save, limits Monarch even more," Caspian said. "But when we return each one to the previous holders, we must warn them about the Alliance rings when we can,"
"He's right. They can't wear those rings around if Monarch could track them," Cat Noir said in agreement. "We must be extra careful when we take back a Miraculous, otherwise Monarch will find out their identities and then this whole thing will start all over again,"
Ladybug looks at the sunset with a determined expression. "I won't make that mistake again. Not while we're all here, together." She said while looking at her team with a smile.
The other seven heroes looked at Ladybug with smiles before turning to Cat Noir. "Something on your mind, Kitty?"
Cat Noir looked down for a moment before he spoke. "Ladybug, that power of Jubilation, it's supposed to show us our deepest desires, isn't it?" He asked.
"Yes." Ladybug nodded, now having the same expression as Cat Noir while the others looked at them in wonder.
"But that was… That wasn't real, right?" Cat Noir asked uncomfortably.
"Tell me about it." Ladybug said.
"We've been meaning to ask that too, what was it that Dark Owl showed you two? If it's okay with you?" Dragold asked.
"Oh nothing much, just wedding, babies, totally…fake though," Ladybug said, looking away as the other heroes blinked in surprise.
"Okay, we've all known from the start that Cat Noir loved Ladybug so that definitely sounds like his fantasy." Caspian said before looking to Ladybug, "But considering you saw it too, are you really sure you don't see Cat Noir as more than a friend and partner?"
"I-I don't know." Ladybug said slowly while still having a bit sad expression. "At first I thought that Monarch altered Jubilation somehow, to trick us but I know that's not possible." She said.
"So what do you think it means?" Phoenix asked.
"I, I'm not sure. I just don't know yet." Ladybug said uncertainly.
"Well, at least it's over and Monarch lost the power of Jubination. Otherwise, it would be totally super weird to go through that again, wouldn't it?" Cat Noir said with a small smile.
"Right. Totally super weird." Ladybug said before she glanced at Cat Noir for a moment and then, subtly moved closer to him, "Is this, alright with you Kitty?" She asked.
"You know I'm okay with you, M'lady." Cat Noir said, which made Ladybug smile as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
The other heroes smiled but chose not to say anything as they watched the night begin. It seemed that after today, everything in Paris changed for both better and worse.
