Rose got Tilly and Sophia dressed before heading to the inn, in hopes Lucy would be free to go for lunch or to the park- which thankfully she was.
Rose sat on the bench beside Lucy, watching as Tilly ran around as Sophia slept in her pram. "She enjoys the park, doesn't she?" Lucy chuckled "yes… it's her favourite place… this park is even better than the one in Philadelphia. She's in her element" Rose replied. "Are you OK? You seem as though you're in a world of your own…" Lucy asked, causing Rose to sigh. "Lucy, if I tell you something, can you please keep it to yourself?" She asked, getting a nod in response.
After telling Lucy all about Cal, the Titanic and Jack, she took a deep breathe to process it all over again. "That's why you're staying with Jack?" She asked, Rose nodded in response. "I'm glad you've told me… I hope you know that I'm always here if you ever need to talk" Lucy said, giving her friend a reassuring smile. "Thank you"

After spending a few hours at the park, Rose, Lucy and the girls headed to a near by cafe to have some lunch. Seeing that Tilly was engrossed in her colouring, Lucy spoke to Rose quietly "is Tilly bothered you've moved?" she asked. Rose shook her head in response "she was nervous at first, with it being a new place, but she loves it at Jack's. He really looks after the 3 of us, so she feels safe" Rose replied quietly.
Lucy nodded with a smile before checking her watch "I must be getting back… I promised my aunt I would help her with some chores around the house" "Would I be able to wait in the sitting room at the inn please? I assumed I'd be with you all day so asked Jack to meet me there… I don't really want to be in the house on my own with the girls today…" Rose said nervously "of course you can… my Mum will be pleased to see you" Lucy gave her a smile.

Around 4.15, after Rose had caught up with Mary, Jack arrived at the inn. "Hello Jack" Mary smiled "good afternoon Mary" he replied kindly "hey" he smiled at Rose, giving Tilly a high five and stroking Sophia's cheek. "Hi" she smiled "should we head home?" He asked and she nodded "it was nice to see you Mary" Rose smiled at she stood up "you too, dear. Bye Tilly" she smiled "bye bye" Tilly said to Mary, also standing up as Rose helped her put on her coat.

The four of them arrived home and Jack helped Tilly get out her tea set out before going in to the kitchen where Rose was making tea. "So, how was today?" He asked "it was OK… I don't think anyone was watching us… which is good… and I don't think Tilly noticed that I seemed in a world of my own" she chuckled as he nodded nervously. "How was Lucy about everything you told her?" Jack asked "she was lovely, understanding… it makes me feel awful that I ever lied to them" she sighed a little "I know they'll have understood" Jack said as he walked over and wrapped his arms around her, getting a small nod in response as she rested her head on his chest.
