It was the weekend. No schoolwork, no little siblings to take care of, and no... breakfast.
Tomoka Osakada, a senior student at Seigaku High, closed the fridge and sighed. She was alone in the apartment and had nothing to eat. She was about to step out of the house and go grocery shopping when she noticed the newspaper by the mailbox. Being the nosy person she is, Tomoka flipped through the pages and read the celebrity's corner as she took a seat.
After she read the article about Haruma Miura (her longtime celebrity crush), her eyes caught a familiar name.
"On international news, Tennis superstar Ryoma Echizen has been spotted dining with an unnamed woman at a restaurant in France. It would seem that he was with his rumored non-showbiz girlfriend."
Again? Tomoka has been watching and reading tons of articles about the prince ever since he conquered the international tennis scene. From Wimbledon victory to his personal life, the reporters always covered Ryoma and the paparazzi followed him everywhere he goes.
She stared at the stolen shot of the prince sitting across a woman. He was wearing his usual white cap while taking a sip from his Ponta. Tomoka scoffed. Even though he's at a five-star restaurant, Ryoma still drinks the same soda he has loved since he was a kid.
"Ryoma-sama never changed," she smiled. As her eyes moved on to the woman's photograph, she gasped. She knows too well whose pigtailed hair that is!
"Sakuno?" she could not believe her eyes. Her best friend, who moved to America to be an exchange student, is the rumored girlfriend of Ryoma?
As if she was going to explode if she doesn't let the whole world know of the news, Tomoka completely forgot about her hunger and dashed towards Seigaku High.
Not a long story but I was inspired by Peng Yuchang who played Lu Xia in the Chinese version where he was photographed with his girlfriend at dinner. I've been his fan since POT chinese version :D and I suddenly had the energy to write about Tomoka's nosy self.
