[ I'm sorry for not updating guys. I really did mean to update, I just haven't been feeling it for this book, but I will give you guys a couple of chapattis week. I might not give you guys the desired amount that I want to give you, but it will be something. So enjoy you murder monkeys (if you don't like the nickname I'm sorry)]

(Decepticon POV)

"Of the energon deposits that we have located while you were away Lord Megatron, this one by far is the most significant" said Starscream with his nasally voice.

At Megatron's silence, Starscream continues.

"The drones have been mining without pause during your absence, and have amassed quite the stockpile" Starsc purred out with a grin.

Starscream then looked towards a drone and pointed at them to get their attention. "You there! Fetch me a sample!" he ordered out haughty. Starscream then flinched as the menacing voice of his Lord echoed throughout the cave that they were in.

"Starscream."

Starscream immediately turned to Megatron as he walked out of the shadows menacingly.

"Now that I have returned, I will issue the commands" he said while looking down at Starscream with irritation.

Starscream, who looked both sheepish and embarrassed, stuttered out his response as his Lord's menacing frame walked past him. "I-uh- I understand, Lard Megatron" as Megatron continued to walk past him. When Megatron didn't respond, Starscream continued talking.

"Then as your humble servant, shall I ready the space-bridge to bring forth the Decepticon army that you have surely gathered in your three years in space?" Starscream said with a sheepish smile.

Megatron, with his back facing Starscream, answered him with an annoyed expression on his face. "My army will come," he looked over his shoulder slightly before continuing "but my time away has yielded a more intriguing means of materializing them" Megatron raised his servo to show a shard of purple that gave off a dark foreboding aura.

Megatron continued.

"A solidified form of the matter of ancient texts referred to as The Blood of Unicron" Megatron said with a menacingly pleased smile.

Starscream walked to Megatron's side and spoke hesitantly as he looked at the purple shard in his Lord's servo "Unicron The Destroyer? But it is said that his blood is the Anti - Spark"

Megatron then continues to speak as if he didn't hear Starscream. "Plucked from the cosmic shores, gaze upon Dark Energon"

Starscream continues after Megatron "Legend says that it holds the power to ... revive the dead" he said warily while nervously looking at the shard of Dark Energon in his Lord's grasp.

Megatron looks at the shard of Dark Energon and speaks after Starscream's nervous quip "We require only a cauader to be certain" he turns towards Starscream and smirks deviously and takes a threatening step towards him "Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?"

Starscream takes a quick step back and chuckles nervously before clearing his throat "Ahem. That may not be necessary" Starscream nervously fidgets and continues nervously speaking "If I may Lord Megatron..." Starscream moves to the side to show a deceased Vehicon behind him.

Starscream looks up at Megatron and speaks, not speaking as nervously this time "Consider it a welcome home present"

Megatron smirks darkly and tightens his grip on the shard of Dark Energon.

(POV change)

[continues from the last chapter]

"And since you know of our existence, I fear that as of last night, the Decepticons know of yours" Optimus said gravely.

Jack immediately responds "Got it. See any strange vehicles call 911. Can we go now?" Miko turns towards Jack with an offended look and exclaims loudly "Are you insane!? I'm living a dream here in Botswana and I will not allow you or anyone else to shatter it!"

Ven groaned loudly in irritation and sat up from their position on the puke colored couch and spoke up with an annoyed tone " You can't just try and call the cops on robotic giant metal aliens Jack. They wouldn't even be able to do anything" Ven then addresses Miko with a more harsher voice "And you. This whole situation is not a game kid, this whole situation has war written all over it and you wanna think this is fun? Ugh" Ven scoffed and groaned in disgust as they stood up to look down at the kids while leaning on the rails.

There was a small awkward silence before Optimus spoke up again after glancing at Ven "It is best that you three remain under our watch, at least until we can determine our enemies intentions"

Ratchet steps to stand beside Optimus and tries to voice his concerns "Optimus, with all due respect, the humans are in as much danger as here as anywhere!"

Jack looked at Ratchet with a bewildered look. "Children?" he says with an offended tone. Ven too looks a tad bit offended.

Ratchet continues speaking, ignoring Jack "They have no protective shell! If they go underfoot, they will go... squish" Ratchet says with a disgusted tone while also stomping his pede lightly as if to make a point.

A tiny, micro amount of amusement shows on Optimus's face as he responds to Ratchet warmly and sets his hand on his hip "Then for the time being, Ratchet, we must watch where we step"

An alarm then goes off throughout the silo and the kids looked confused. Ratchet walks back to his place at the console and starts typing as Jack asks a question "What's that?" he asks, worry coating his voice.

Be turns to answer "~Proximity alert. Someone's up top~" Raf translates to a confused Jack and Miko.

Jack, with curiosity in his voice, asks a question "I-I thought that we were the only humans that knew about you guys?" her stammered.

Optimus turns to look at Jack before responding "Special Agent Fowler is our designated liaison to the outside world. He tends to visit only when there are issues. It may be best if you four do not meet him at this time"

Ven let's out a small chuckle, catching everyone's attention. They have a smile in their voice as they speak "I know Fowler. He's an old friend of mine from a bit back"

Optimus looked at Ven with curiosity in his optics, before reluctantly nodding "I'll allow you to stay if what you say is true"

Ven nodded and gave a pleased hum before going to sit on the puke colored couch. Ven heard Miko complaining quietly about how she didn't want to hide and how they thought it was unfair how Ven got to stay out. Ven just scoffed.

The kids went to hide and the alarm turned off before an African-American man with a beer gut and dressed in a blue suit came walking out of an elevator with anger and annoyance in his voice "Seven wrecks, thirty four fender benders, a three hour traffic jam, and on a particular note, numerous reports of a speeding motorcycle of unknown make and a black and yellow custom muscle car!"

Bumblebee glanced at Arcee awkwardly and Arcee looked back at him with a seemingly unbothered expression.

Fowler sent a glowering glare towards Optimus before speaking again after a small pause "Something you want to get off your tin chest Prime?"

Optimus leans down slightly to meet Fowler's height on the raised platform, explaining to Fowler about the situation, all while Fowler still hasn't noticed Ven sitting down on the puke colored couch.

After a moment of Fowler saying the Pentagon needs to be involved is when Ven speaks up "C'mon Will. What makes you think that our human weapons will do the Decepticons any harm?"

Fowler jerks at the sound of Ven's voice, finding their voice extremely familiar. He slowly turns to look at Ven's shadowed face before faintly speaking "You? Everyone thought..."

Ven laughed and stood up to walk over to Fowler. Throwing their arm over his shoulder and turning their head to look at him fully "Yeah, well, I had some stuff to do, things to plan y'know? Couldn't stay in one place for too long"

Fowler had a bewildered look on his face as he listened to Ven talk. The rest of the room also looked a tad shocked as they watched Ven talk to Fowler as if they were old friends.

Optimus also couldn't help but think about how mysterious Ven is and what is in store for them in the future.
