Harry held Granny Gussie's hand tightly as they strode into the lobby of Gringotts Bank. They paused momentarily just inside the door as she looked for an open teller. Seeing one at the far end of the lobby, Augusta straightened her spine and purposefully began to move forward once again, Harry's hand in hers with Neville and the Dursley's following close behind. She stood patiently and waited for the goblin to acknowledge their presence. The unnamed goblin made a few more notations in his ledger before setting his quill pen aside and leveling a stern, piercing gaze on the group.
"What business do you have with Gringotts today?" he drawled in a bored, uninterested tone of voice, not bothering to introduce himself.
"I have two wizards of age to confirm inheritance and request that they be given the routine inheritance tests. We also need to see the Potter and Longbottom account managers." Augusta spoke briskly, not bothering with their own introductions. Nodding, the still unnamed goblin turned and barked at another goblin in a harsh language.
"Follow the guard to the Inheritance room. Stinkblast and Ironchest will be there momentarily." he said, gesturing to the door behind him. Augusta nodded and led her group of muggles and two increasingly apprehensive young wizards through the door and into the room beyond where they saw two more doors set across from them.
They had only been waiting a few minutes when one of the doors across the room opened to admit two different goblins into the room. Immediately, one began to speak. "I am Ironchest. Which one of you is the Longbottom heir?" Neville timidly lifted his hand. Nodding,Ironchest turned and opened the final door in the room, revealing a paneled room, empty save for a massive boulder with steps leading up it to a magnificent sword sticking out. "Make your attempt." Ironchest intoned. Nervously, Neville stepped into the room and climbed the steps leading up the stone to the sword. Taking a deep breath, he grasped the pommel of the sword and pulled. Nothing happened. Behind him, Augusta released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding. She was a little disappointed but she was more relieved than anything. Neville couldn't handle the responsibilities that went with pulling the sword from the stone. In the other room, Ironchest was already moving on, laying out a quill, parchment, and an enchanted knife on a desk in the corner. He reached into a drawer and removed a cerulean potion which he poured into a bowl. Gesturing to the knife, he spoke once more.
" Cut your palm and allow 11 drops to fall into the potion. Then set the quill in the potion. Once it has absorbed the potion, remove it and set it to the parchment and release it. The quill will write out your inheritance for us to see."
Striding to the desk, Neville did as he was told and they all stood back to watch as the quill wrote out his inheritance. Lifting the parchment once the quill had finished, Ironchest quickly looked it over before nodding. "You are indeed confirmed as the Longbottom heir. I will have your heir ring collected and brought here. Have you any more business with me?" After a quick glance at his grandmother, Neville shook his head. Giving a final nod, Ironchest took the Inheritance parchment and departed. All eyes turned to the remaining goblin in the room as he stepped forward.
"I am Stinkblast. Which of you claim to be the Potter heir?" he asked, gruffly to the two remaining boys. Resolutely Harry stepped forward. Stinkblast snarled derisively and gestured to the room with the sword. "Make your attempt." Boldly, Harry strode into the next room and climbed the steps up the stone. Taking a deep breath to steel his nerves, he firmly grabbed the pommel of the sword and gave a sharp pull upward. With a ring of steel on stone, he pulled the sword free and lifted it above his head. A beam of light shone from overhead, illuminating him in a halo of golden beams. Twin gasps sounded from behind him and he turned to see both Longbottoms kneeling on the floor. Just inside the original door they had entered the Dursleys stood confused as to the events going on around them. Meanwhile, Stinkblast released a loud noxious fart in shock before rushing to the door he originally came through and shouting down a long hall. Composing himself, he gestured Harry towards the desk where he had laid out a new parchment and quill, and a new bowl of cerulean potion.
"It's the same procedure. Please cut your palm and allow 11 drops to fall into the potion. Then set the quill in the potion. Once it has absorbed the potion, remove it and set it to the parchment and release it. The quill will write out your inheritance for us to see." With that said, he collapsed backwards into a chair, still trying to come to terms with the shock of what had just happened. Harry stepped toward the desk, still carrying the sword he had just pulled from the stone. Setting the sword on the desk, he grabbed the knife and did as he was bid. The quill began to write and continued to write for what seemed to be forever. Finally, after nearly 15 minutes, the quill ceased writing and fell. By this time,Stinkblast was too shocked to move. Curious as to what his parchment said and not seeing any reason not to look, Harry reached out and picked up the stack of parchment. Stunned he read.

Full Title
His Royal Highness, King Hadrian James Charlus Michael Arturo Potter Gryffindor Ravenclaw Hufflepuff Slytherin LeFay Emrys Pendragon, King of Avalon, Defender of Magic,Lord of Camelot, Lord Hogwarts, Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Royal House of Pendragon, Lord of the Most Ancient And Most Noble House of Gryffindor, Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Hufflepuff, LOrd of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Ravenclaw, Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Slytherin, Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter,Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of LeFay, Lord of The Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Emrys, Knight of the Round Table, Friend of the Goblin Nation.
Harry gawked at his inheritance test, especially that title. Mates? Highness? KING? ROYAL!!!?? He wasn't a king! He couldn't be. He was just an orphan who had a rough childhood. He didn't know how to be a king. He turned to where Augusta and Neville were still kneeling and held out the stack of parchment.
"Granny Gussie? What does all this mean?" he whimpered plaintively, begging her with his eyes. Augusta rose from where she was kneeling and took the parchments from Harry. At the same time, the door that led to the hallway opened and admitted a line of armored goblins carrying heavy sharp spears who took up posts around the room before a final goblin, dressed in armor as well but wit a regal robe trailing behind him entered and strode determinedly to the desk. He stared at the sword laying there for a long moment before turning to face the rest of the room. Finally he spoke.
"I am Noodle, Ragnok of the Gringotts Goblin clan of Britain, which of you pulled the sword from the stone?" Still feeling overwhelmed, Harry nevertheless confidently turned towards Noodle and spoke.
"I did. Now can you please tell me what it means and why the devil that parchment says I'm a bloody KING!?" he ranted, shouting the last word. "And what does it mean I have mates? More than one? How many? Who are they?"
The king of the goblins watched as this young, human vented his shock at the events of the last hour. Even as he showed his stress, the boy still didn't lose control of himself. Yes, he was obviously overwhelmed and had no clue how to deal with what he had learned. But those things could be overcome. He could be taught how to handle unexpected revelations, It was what he saw underneath the panic that interested Noodle. He saw strength. Strength to go on. Strength to overcome. Strength to fight. Strength to rule. This isn't physical, though the signs of a decent physical strength were there. This was a mental strength. A resolve to do what was best for all. To do what benefited the many, instead of the few. Looking at this overwhelmed, human boy, Noodle saw a ruler, one worthy of respect. He saw someone that he would be proud to call friend. Raising a gnarled, scarred hand, he stopped what was building into a magnificent rant.
"I cannot speak to whatever it says on the parchment as I have not had the opportunity to look at it." Indeed, Augusta still held Harry's inheritance parchment and her hands shook the more she read. "However, I can speak to the sword, as every goblin is taught from birth what it means if someone were ever to draw the sword from where it rested in the stone." Seeing Harry calm down, Noodle continued to speak. " The sword is a legendary sword. It is Excalibur, the sword of the great king, Arthur Pendragon, who united all the kingdoms of Britannia under one banner. Everyone, muggle, wizard, or goblin knows the story of Arthur pulling the sword from the stone to prove his own divine right to rule. What many don't know, and the muggle legends don't tell you, is that Arthur was a wizard, born of the muggle king and a common born witch. Through him came the Empire of Avalon, encompassing all of what is now known as England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, and Bulgaria. And while the empire may have been dissolved on the muggle side, here in the magical world it is very much intact. It is governed by four separate ministries, each with their own Minister of Magic. But I can elaborate on them later. You wished to know the significance of the sword. Arthur died childless, and no Mordred was not his bastard son. Mordred was just a dark lord with delusions of grandeur. Arthur fought him alongside Merlin and Morganna, who were not enemies, merely people with differing opinions. The three of them fought against Mordred, alongside Arthur's knights and slew him. But Arthur was mortally wounded. On his deathbed, Arthur decreed that the sword be returned to the stone to determine the true heir to his throne. Many tried through the years and when the magical world split from the muggle, we goblins were entrusted with taking care of the sword. We began to organize and restrict the attempts to draw the stone. Each wizard is allowed two attempts to draw the sword, once at the age of eleven and again at the age of seventeen. This has gone on for nearly fifteen hundred years. And today, the search ended. You are called king because Magic itself has decreed that you are king. You,and you alone were able to pull the sword from its place in the stone. By doing so, you have proven to be a worthy heir to the throne of the Avalonian Empire. You are the next KIng of Avalon."
Noodle once again fell silent as he finished his explanation. Augusta by now had finished reading Harry's inheritance and silently passed the bundle of parchment over for him to review. Harry merely stood quiet, slowly digesting what he had been told. Near the entrance, the three Dursleys all stood, jaws hanging to the floor at what they had heard. Neville still knelt next to his grandmother, head bowed in supplication to his newly discovered king.
Quickly and quietly going over the information of Harry's inheritance, Noodle cleared his throat as he finished, drawing everyone's attention. "Having reviewed ALL of the information, I can unequivocally say that you, Harry, are not only the most powerful wizard in the known world, but you are also the richest person on the planet. Your vaults hold enough money for the next hundred generations to live not just comfortably but extravagantly. On top of your vast wealth, you also possess multiple abilities thought to be lost. You will be able to understand and speak to all manner of dragons, serpents, birds, canines, and horses. You will instinctively understand and speak any language you hear, magical or muggle. You will naturally be able to heal from all but the most severe of injuries. Your mind has natural barriers to any form of mind manipulation and you will be able to slip into others minds undetected, with only a basic review of the principles behind it. Others will be drawn to you and only the most greedy, narcissistic and vile people will ever be able to betray your trust. Additionally, you have the ability to turn into not one but three different animals, all of them magical, once you learn the art of animagus. I would also highly recommend that when you leave here, you go visit Mr. Scamander at the Magical Menagerie. He will be the best person to help you locate your unique familiars. Now, given the vastness of your holdings, no mere account manager could hope to properly maintain them for you. Therefore, I would like to manage them for you. Is that acceptable to you, Your Majesty?" Stunned, Harry could only nod. "Very well then, Let's begin."
