The sun was setting as the day was almost over while Daniel and Chloe are going for a walk before Chloe goes off to a society ball.
"You know, I am a little upset that Gabriel didn't want to bring anybody else that isn't on his official guess list." Chloe said in disappointment.
"Hey, I get it." Daniel said with an assuring smile. "From what I hear, the Diamonds Dance is really a big deal, to Gabriel at least." He said while frowning, "But I heard from Kagami that he and her mother are really pushing her and Adrien to be a couple again. Even though Kagami's accepted Adrien is with Marinette."
"Those two just wanna bring more attention to these companies. And even if Kagami and Adrien don't want to go through it, it's impossible to say no to a parent with that much power." Chloe stated in annoyance. "Now I'm starting to see why those two would go off schedules in the past."
"Well, before Kagami and Adrien became a couple and broke up, Adrien was always a free spirit." Daniel said with a small smile before frowning. "Still, there are some things he can't avoid. Even if he wants to say no there's always something about Gabriel that makes Adrien do what he tells him too." He added.
"Yeah, lately it seems Mr. Agreste is trying to control everything about Adrien. Even when he set him free from being a fashion model." Chloe said as her watch then started beeping as she sigh. "Oh drats, it's almost time to get ready for the Diamond Dance. Seriously, timing is not on our side lately."
"Hey, don't worry. There's always next time." Daniel said as he held her hand, "Try and have some fun, and tell Adrien, Kagami and Jacob I said hi."
"Can do." Chloe said with a chuckle as she was about to walk off, but stopped herself as she turned back to Daniel and gave him a kiss on the cheek, which surprised him. "Just for good luck." She said before she rushed off with a giggle.
Daniel stood there with a hand to his cheek where Chloe kissed him as he gave a fond smile. "Heh, she really is something else." He said as he continued to walk his way before he notice Alya and Nino sitting nearby on a table. "Hey, Nino, Alya, how's it going?" He asked as he walked up to them.
The couple notice Daniel coming as they smile. "Hey Dan dude, we're just passing by," Nino said, "Hey, did ya here about the Diamond Dance?"
"Well, yeah, Chloe told me about them." Daniel said as he took his seat beside them. "And I'm still annoyed that Gabriel and Tomoe are still trying to get their kids together. Seriously, it's like they think can control them." He said in annoyance.
Alya came up to him, "Hey, no matter Adrien's dad or Kagami's mom do we all know that Adrien loves Marinette and only Marinette," She assured him.
Daniel smiled and nodded before he remembered, "Wait, the Diamond Dance invites every rich family to bring their family right?" He asked.
"Yeah?" Nino and Alya said in confusion.
"And that would include the Fathom Family?" Daniel added with a suspicious look.
"You mean Adrien's aunt Amelie's family? I guess so but why do you…" Nino trailed off as he and Alya realized what Daniel was saying, "Wait, you think that Felix will show up?" He asked in surprise.
Daniel rubbed his chin, "I'm not sure, but a gather of that many rich kids, I wouldn't be surprised if Felix decided to crash the party." He said, "But if he is going to the dance." He started.
"He'll probably bring the Miraculous of the Peacock with him!" Alya finished.
"Exactly. This might be our only chance to take back the Peacock. And if we spotted Felix in the dance, we might have a shot." Daniel said with a determined look.
"But, uh, one slight problem: How are we suppose to get into the dance to do that?" Nino asked the million dollar questioned. "Only the official invites can enter, and if they see the Miraculous Team that would raise some red flags."
"But you're forgetting, we already have three miraculous holders invited to the Dance," Daniel reminded them.
"Right, Adrien, Marinette and Jacob." Alya remembered.
"So if they see the first sight of Felix, then they will have the chance to take back the Peacock Miraculous." Daniel told them, "And if things go sour, the rest of us will be waiting outside to get the jump on him."
"I like this plan." Nino said with a smirk. "I'll rally the troops and be there before night fall." He said as he stood up.
"Good call, Nino. We'll meet at the Diamonds Dance building by rooftop." Daniel said as Nino nodded and rushed off to get their team while Alya looked uncertain while she looked at her ring of the Diamonds Dance information. "What is it, Alya?"
"There's just something off. I don't know, but I don't see Felix's family on the guest list for the Diamonds Dance." Alya said in confusion, "You'd think Gabriel would at least invite the only other family he has left, especially the family of his wife."
Daniel got a confuse look from that. "Huh, that is strange. Maybe he must've put them on a special VIP list or something. Anyway, we should get ready, because we can't pass up a chance for this." He said as he took out his phone and started texting. "I'm gonna let Jacob know about our plan so he, Kagami and Adrien, can keep a look out for Felix on the inside, while the rest we'll be on guard outside." He said.
"And I'll do the same for Marinette." Alya nodded as they send their messages to their friends. "Let's hope Felix hasn't created some back up already."
"Well, I got a feeling we'll find out what he has planned." Daniel said as he stood up. "You and Mylene should go into the Den and help Luka keep tabs, if things go south." He advised.
"Sure thing. Good luck out there." Alya said as Daniel nodded and rushed off as Alya sigh. "I hope I get Trixx back soon, I'm dying to get back into the field." She said to herself while rubbing her neck where the fox Miraculous was once wore.
At the Diamonds Dance, Jacob walked with his parents and sister as security scanned their masks, "Welcome Mr. Richter Econ, Mrs. Valerie Econ, Ms. Sally Econ, Mr. Jacob Econ." The Alliance Ring's voices said as the guard allow them in and as they walked, they were greeted by Gabriel, and Nathalie.
"Gabriel, good to see you again," Jacob's father, Ricthter, said as he and Gabriel bow.
"It is good to see you too, Mr. Econ. And the rest of your family," Gabriel said politely, "As your company is responsible for the funding of Alliance, an invitation was the least I could do."
"Thank you. And my apologies if the rings have been hacked by that villain Monarch. But, having seen Ladybug rebuilding her team one by one, I have confidence that they will defeat him," Valerie said as she looked around, "But, where's Adrien?" She asked.
"Indeed, where is your son, Gabriel-san?" The group turned to Tomoe and Kagami walking up to them.
Gabriel frowned and bowed his head, "A slight setback Tsurugi-san, Adrien shouldn't be long." He said.
"Shouldn't? He should already be here." Tomoe said firmly. "Our children are this year's queen and king of the ball, and Adrien is late?" She questioned.
Sally raised a brow, "Adrien and Kagami? Jacob told me Adrien was dating another girl named Marinette." She said in confusion.
"That doesn't concern you." Tomoe said firmly. "This is a family matter." She said, which made Jacob give a silent glare at her as Kagami did the same.
Richter raised his hands, "Now, now Tsurugi-san, I'm sure Sally didn't any harm by that." He said, "I'm sure whoever your daughter is seeing, you should allow her to find her own path."
"Apology accept, but Kagami and Adrien's path have already chosen." Tomoe said as Jacob and Kagami gave irritated looks.
"More like forcing them to that path." Jacob muttered quietly before recomposing himself.
And then Andre, Audrey and Chloe walked in. "Good evening, Gabriel. Good evening, Tsurugi-san. Good evening, Ritcher." Andre said with a bow. "A-And where's Adrien?" He asked.
Gabriel gave a narrowed eye look, "Oh he's coming, he probably just took a wrong turn somewhere," Jacob explained for him.
"Ah. I see." Andre said before he and his family turned away. "Well then, see you all inside." He added as they all went inside.
"Too bad Zoe said she couldn't come. But at least there'll be three decent here." Chloe said to herself while Kagami and Jacob quietly with each other.
Jacob and Kagami got a silent text from their phones as they pick them up and it read, 'DG, We're just outside, keep your eyes out for the Peacock.' The text said on both their phones, which made them turn to each other and nodded.
They saw Adrien walking in. "Adrien, buddy you made." Jacob said with a smile.
Adrien smiled back, but there was something different about it, "It's good to see you again, Jacob." He said as he shook Jacob's hand.
The moment their hands touched, Jacob gasped silently, and realized the hand he was holding was much different than Adrien's, including his ring before they separated and 'Adrien' turned to Gabriel and Tomoe.
"Please excuse my tardiness, Ms. Tsurugi-san." 'Adrien' apologize with a bow. "For my first time as king of the ball, it is a great honor to have your wonderful daughter as my queen." He said as he moved over to Kagami, and noticed her ring as he gasped silently while Kagami looked into 'Adrien' eyes in suspicion before he cleared his throat.
Gabriel and Tomoe gave a smile. "Our king and queen will be magnificent, Tsurgui-san." Gabriel said.
Jacob and Kagami gave suspicious looks before another voice called out. "Gabriel! my son Felix has been missing for weeks now!" They turned to the entrance and saw Amelie pushing pass the guards as she marched up to them, which the three kids saw in surprise. "Not only have you and your friends been no help with the search, but now I'm not even invited to the ball?" She asked in betrayal.
Richter was surprised and gave Gabriel a look, "Gabriel I'm shocked, I would've thought you'd be kind enough to invite your own sister in law." He said in disappointment.
"Well, I've been busy with other things." Gabriel said naturally.
"You haven't been the same since my sister Emilie disappeared." Amelie pointed out with a look. "Why are you rejecting us?"
Gabriel turned to her with a straight look. "This is not the place nor time, Amelie." He said softly. "Nathalie will see you out." He said.
Nathalie grab Amelie's hand and guided her out of the building while Jacob and Kagami look at each other. "I can't believe Mr. Agreste purposely didn't invite his own sister-in-law." Jacob said in shock.
"I know. Even I'm appalled by this. But Felix been missing for weeks? That is interesting." Kagami said quietly.
Jacob glanced at 'Adrien' with a suspicious look, "Yeah, but I think I just found him." He said quietly.
They all then scanned their masks to the entrance of the ball room as they enter the room before Kagami and Jacob gave nods. "I'll see you at the dance floor, just keep an eye on 'your king', just to be safe." Jacob said quietly.
"On it." Kagami nodded as they entered and changed into their ball outfits.
Outside the building, the Miraculous team are all on a rooftop, waiting to spring into action, "Aw man, we can't even see what's going on in there." King Monkey said, looking through the sunroof and only saw a white room inside.
"And we don't have Hydrake to even see the future for." Carapace complained.
Dragold sighed and paced around, "Be patience, I got a feeling something big is about to happen."
"With Felix and the Peacock Miraculous, things should be going down hill real soon." Terrapin said.
"I hope Jacob and the others will be okay." Phoenix said in great concern.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they're fine. They're the best of the best." Rooster Bold said with a smile.
Then suddenly the sky turned to black, "Wait, it's night time already? But it was just dusk a few minutes ago." Caspian said in confusion.
Then they heard a low rumble and looked around, "What's that rumbling sound?" Pegasus asked.
"I'm sure it was just thunder," Caprikid assured but then he saw there were no clouds and realized where the sound was coming from, "From, inside, the building?" He said in confusion and worry as the rumbling got louder
Then they heard screaming sounds as they looked down and saw people leaving the building and then something red burst out of the dance hall. "What the!? What is that!?" Miss Hound exclaimed nervously.
"I think Felix just made his move!" Dragold exclaimed seriously as they jumped away as a large red sphere rose up into the sky. "That scent, it's Sentimonster!" He realized.
"The Sentimonster, is a red Moon?" Minotaurox asked with a confused look.
"What's his game? He wanted to make the night sky red bright?" Pegasus asked in confusion.
Then they saw a teenaged boy dressed in a blue peacock themed costume and carrying Marinette jump out of the building and across the city, "What the-Marinette?!" Purple Tigress said in shock.
"You guys! HELP!" Marinette called as Felix jumped out of sight.
"We gotta help her!" Carapace called out before noticing something. "Wait, where's Jacob, Adrien and Kagami? Shouldn't they be saving her?" He asked, noticing three heroes that aren't chasing after Marinette to save her.
"They'll have to catch up! We gotta stop Felix and get the Peacock Miraculous back!" Dragold exclaimed. "Miraculous Team, move out!" He yelled as they all ran to follow Felix.
As the team ran over the rooftops, following Felix's trail before they saw him put Marinette in a dumpster before jumping off.
"Okay, that's just cruel." Pigella said as she clenched her fist.
"Come on, let's help her out." Caspian said as they jumped down.
But as Rooster Bold reached for the lid, "Tikki, Spots On!" Marinette called and then in a pink flash, Ladybug kicked the Dumpster down and pinned Rooster Bold down, "Try junk me, will you?!" Ladybug demanded as she raised her fist.
Rooster Bold raised his hands, "Whoa, whoa, whoa! You got the wrong bird!" He called out, which made Ladybug gasp in realization as she noticed her team was here.
"G-Guys. Oh, oh my gosh. I'm sorry, Rooster Bold." Ladybug apologized as she helped Rooster Bold up. "I thought you were Argos."
"It's cool. Just uh, please don't try to punch me into pulp next time?" Rooster Bold asked sheepishly.
"Ladybug, what happened back there?" Dragold asked as he approached the red Heroine, "We were just keeping watch and next thing we knew a blood red moon rose right out of dance." He said.
"It was Felix!" Ladybug exclaimed while punching the wall causing it to crack, which made the heroes flinch. "He pretended to be Adrien, and then he used the Peacock Miraculous to transform and calls himself Argos and use the red sun to blink everyone out of existence!" She yelled out. "He already snapped nearly everyone in the dance out of existence! Chloe and her parents, Mr. Agreste, Ms. Tsurugi and even Jacob!" She said with angry tears.
They all gasped, especially Dragold and Phoenix. "Has he gone mad!? Even Monarch isn't that crazy to do that!" Phoenix exclaimed.
"But wait, what about Kagami? She was in there with you." Caspian said in concern.
"Felix spared her, but she's still crushed after he made her mother disappear! I won't let him get away!" Ladybug yelled out as she threw her yo-yo to follow after Felix. "He's gonna pay for this!"
"Ladybug, wait!" Carapace yelled out with his arms out. "She just ditch us!" He said in shock.
"What's gotten into her?" King Monkey asked in surprise.
Terrapin thought before she gasped, "Wait, if Felix had created that Sentimonster ahead of time to make people disappear at the snap of his fingers, and if he replaced Adrien and Cat Noir hasn't shown up," She trailed off in dread.
The other realized it too and looked to each other in horror, "Oh no." Ms. Hound said while covering her mouth.
"Adrien was snapped before he could make it to the ball!" Purple Tigress exclaimed in shock.
"And Marinette's out for revenge!" Phoenix added, realizing Ladybug wanted to avenge Adrien and get Felix back for stealing the Miraculous.
Carapace clenched his fist, "Alright that's it! No Mr. Nice Turtle!" He said before charging off, "That Peacock is gonna get plucked!" He declared.
"Carapace! Wa-Ugh!" Dragold groaned in frustration. "Alright, no time for planning! Let's just give Argos everything we got!" He ordered as the team chased after their friends.
Then soon caught up with Carapace and then saw Ladybug up ahead, "Ladybug!" Caspian called as Ladybug turned to her team before glaring ahead.
"Don't even try to stop me!" Ladybug told them as she leapt from rooftop to rooftop.
"Who said we're stopping you!" Purple Tigress asked with a smirk as the team caught up to Ladybug.
"What?" Ladybug said in confusion.
"We're coming with you!" Pegasus added.
Phoenix flew next to Ladybug, "You're not the only one who wants payback." She said with a smile.
"They were our friends too, and Felix crossed the line!" Carapace added.
"And if you're gonna fight him, at least let us get a piece out of him." Rooster Bold said.
"Because when he traded our Miraculous for the Peacock, he made our Kawmis Monarch's prisoners." Captrikin added.
Ladybug looked at them in amazement as she turned to the other heroes, Pigella and Minotaurox smiled and nodded, while King Monkey gave a thumbs-up.
Dragold nudged her with a smirk, "We're a team! We do this together!" He announced.
Ladybug smiled, "I'm glad you're my friends! Alright team, Let's get Miraculous!" She declared.
"Nice!" Caspian complimented.
The heroes all rushed off after Argos, eager to get some payback for what he did.
After a few minutes, they saw that the people of Paris are missing, no doubt Argos snapped them out of existence as they saw him standing in the middle of the street with a pose as he made a few more people disappear with a snap of his fingers.
"There he is!" Carapace exclaimed.
The heroes all jumped down in front of Argos and drew their weapons. "Argos!" Phoenix called out with a glare.
Argos turned to them, "Ah, Ladybug and the Miraculous Team. And you must be Southern Phoenix, Northern Terrapin, and Western Caspian," He said before looking to Dragold, "Oh and of course, Miraculous Holder of the Golden Dragon King himself, the mighty Central Dragold." He said with a bow.
Dragold growled. "Glad you know us! Now we order you to bring everyone back!" He declared with his sword aimed at him. "And give us back the Peacock Miraculous!"
"Oh, I don't think so." Argos said with a smirk. "Now we just need to wait for Cat Noir and then you'll both give me your Miraculous, Ladybug." He said with a feather fan to his face.
"So that's it then. You're working for Monarch!" Ladybug exclaimed as she threw her yo-yo at Argos, which he blocked and was about to snapped his fingers.
But before he could snap, Argos' fingers were hit by a turtle shield, which made him yelled in pain as he shook his hand. "I don't think so, dude!" Carapace yelled before he caught his shield.
"You're the reason why Ladybug lost the other Miraculous in the first place!" Phoenix yelled as she tackled Argos from behind as they rolled across the ground, "You pretended to be Adrien! You stole the Dog Miraculous!" She said, grabbing Argos' hands to keep him from snapping before he kicked her off.
"You gave him our Miraculous without any regard for the consequences it might have for the people of Paris!" Purple Tigress yelled as she swung her claws at Argos but he dodged her every strike.
"True, except I worked for no one." Argos exclaimed as he swung Purple Tigress to a wall, which the others cringed as Purple Tigress hit the wall with a crack as he kicked Phoenix next to her as the heroes gasped at his intense strength. "I only helped Monarch because it served my plans!" He exclaimed, jumping up to the heroes with his fist raised.
They all dodge Argos' as he punched the ground, which leaved a big crack crater. "I needed the Peacock Miraculous and today I need Ladybug's and Cat Noir's so I can make my wish!" He yelled as he punched Pigella away as King Monkey caught her and soften her impact against the wall.
"Your Wish!? What do you want?! What are you trying to do!" Dragold demanded as he clashed his swords with Argos' fan. "You're destroying the world and we don't even know why!" He said as raised for another strike.
Argos' held up his fingers, preparing to snap as the heroes reeled back with their arms raised, since he's threatening to snap them out of existence.
"When I merge the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous together, I'll make a wish to create a better world. A free world." Argos said as he walked forward to the heroes while they walked back. "Where no one will be under anyone's control anymore. Where no one will be excluded like I was. A world without people like all you to decide what's right or wrong, who gets powers and who doesn't!" He exclaimed.
"Free from control? Is that what this is all about?" Caspian asked in surprise.
"We're as clueless as any of you." Purple Tigress said with a shrug.
Dragold looked at Argos seriously, "Don't you realize that if you do wish for without control there would a terrible price to pay for it?" He asked him.
Argos stopped in shock at that before he gave a solemn look. "There's no price too high for me. I have nothing to lose." He said while looking away.
Ladybug then threw her yo-yo at the light pole when Argos is distracted, which made the light pole to fall as Argos dodge it before Caspian came behind him as he kicked Argos to Carapace, who whacked him with his shield before Rooster Bold punch him in the gut before Ladybug swung up and tackled him.
"Your no better than Monarch if you use the same methods he does." Ladybug growled as she held Argos' hands in place as they tried to push each other back. "I'll never give you my Miraculous!"
"And There's no way, you can defeat all fourteen of us, at once!" King Monkey said as he and the others stood before them.
"Then I'll do with just my Miraculous!" Argos grunted as he glared at Ladybug, "If you won't let me recreate the world, then I'll you my own power to transform it! I'll just snap my fingers until there's nobody left!" He declared as he kicked Ladybug off and she landed with the others.
"Felix, we can't let you do this!" Dragold declared.
"It's Argos now, and how do you intend to stop, your majesty?" Argos mocked with a smirk as he looked to the sky. "By now, the whole world has bathed in the light of the Red Moon, you don't know what item controls my creation or where it is. If any of you try anything, I'll just snap my fingers, you've lost heroes."
"Then clearly, you don't know that I have the power to cancel out other Miraculous powers." Dragold said with a serious look.
Argos gasped before he gave a glare. "You're bluffing." He snarled.
"Try me." Dragold challenged as he stepped forward. "I could just say the word, and your Sentiemonster will disappear and we will take back the Peacock Miraculous without anything holding us back. And you'll be left with nothing."
Argos just gave a smirk. "But if you do that, what do you think will happen to all the people I snapped away?" He asked coyly.
Dragold eyes widened in shock, as did the others. "Exactly, you have no guarantee that destroying my Sentimonster will bring everyone back, for you know you could eradicate them completely." Argos said cruelly.
"Not if I can help it!" Ladybug declared before throwing her Yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!" She exclaimed, tossing her yo-yo into the air, but shockingly, there was nothing created, absolutely nothing, which made the heroes gasped in shock as Ladybug transform into her normal form, shock that her Lucky Charm failed.
"See?" Argos said evilly as they all look at him in shock as he gave a victorious smile. "That's checkmate, Miraculous Heroes. You don't have a lucky charm to call in the magical ladybug to repair the damage. Meaning that you all failed." He said.
Dragold stepped back in shock as he slowly turned to Ladybug. "Ladybug, what happened?! Why didn't your Lucky Charm work!?" He exclaimed in shock.
"What do we do?!" Pigella asked in panic.
"I-I don't know! This has never happened before!" Ladybug called out in panic.
"Well, we gotta do something! Because we'll be snapped, unless we don't find a way to turn the tables and fast!" Caspian exclaimed nervously as Argos raised his fingers. "Got any ideas?!"
The heroes all started to think of an idea as Argos waited with a smirk. "Keep stalling if you want, I got all night before you decided to give up." Argos said with an evil smirk.
"Cram it! We're not stalling, we're thinking!" Dragold yelled as he turned back to the others. "He's right, we're totally stalling! What are we gonna do?!" He whispered.
"This guy really chaps my hide." Minotaurox sneered. "I swear, when this is all over, I'm gonna tear him apart even if I have to do it myself!" He said, slamming his fists together.
Ladybug caught what he said, "Do it, yourself?" She repeated before turning to Argos, which she then have an idea before she smiled. "I think I have an idea, if we can't bring everyone back, then Argos will have to do it himself." She said.
The others were surprise by Ladybug's idea. "Wait, how will we get him to do that?" Terrapin questioned.
"Yeah, Argos just snapped everyone out of existence. And we're in no position to stop him." Rooster Bold pointed out.
"Dragold can't use Dominate to destroy the Sentimonster and risk everyone being lost forever." Caprikid said.
"Not to mention, with no lucky charm we can't undo the damage" Purple Tigress added.
"Leave that to me." Ladybug said with a smirk as she turned to Argos. "You're right, we can't defeat you. But winning isn't always what we think it is." She said, which made Argos and the other heroes surprise by this.
"Wait, what?" Phoenix asked in shock.
Argos was then in rage. "For the last time." He growled as he readied his fingers.
"Never." Ladybug said as she shook her head.
"All of humanity will disappear if you don't hand the earrings over, Ladybug." Argos called out with a rageful look. "Even your team will disappear! Are you willing to pay that price!?" He yelled.
"Only you can decide that." Ladybug said in acceptance.
"WHAT?!" The heroes yelled in shock.
"Ladybug?! What are you doing!?" Dragold exclaimed in shock.
"Sealing your fate!" Argos roared as he snapped his fingers and all the heroes disappeared.
…except for one.
"Guys!" Dragold called out when he saw his friends disappear, before realizing that he was still here. "Hey, Nothing happened!" He exclaimed in relief.
"What?!" Argos yelled in shock as he snapped his fingers at Dragold again, which still did nothing, he kept repeating until he started to get a cramp as he stopped. "Wh-what going on?!" He said looking at his fingers in confusion.
Dragold was confuse himself before he gave a smirk. "Oh-ho-ho, dominion over other Miraculous powers is right," He said as he turned to the worried Argos with a glare, "You impersonated one of my friend, use the miraculous you traded the other miraculous to my worst enemy for, created a sentimonster that wiped out everyone in paris, took away my team and worst of all: You snapped my girl away!" He said before he cracked his knuckles, "So this is gonna hurt, and I'm gonna enjoy it." He said with a smirk.
Argos snarled as he put away his fan and charged at Dragold with full fury. Dragold's smirk melted away when he saw Argos rage and turned to run. "Oh shoot!" He exclaimed before Argos tackled him.
The two Miraculous Holders then started rolling across the streets while exchanging blows before Dragold kicked Argos up and onto a roof, which send tiles falling off as Dragold jumped onto the roof and Argos charge at him.
"I'll just get rid of you the old fashion way!" Argos yelled in rage as he then kicked Dragold again, which caused the two to go flying as they rolled across each roof, as Dragold manage to maneuver himself so that Argos is the one getting hit by the floors of the roof, which made him cringed in pain and was glad his Miraculous form id durable to avoid serious damage.
Soon the two landed on the streets before they stood up and brought out their weapons and started clashing with each other. "You can't win, Felix!" Dragold yelled.
"My name is Argos! And this my world now! My destiny!" Argos roared as he pushed Dragold back and brought his fan in close, "Even if I can't snap you away, I can still create more friends to help me and I've gotten rid of all the heroes, you have no one!" He said.
Dragold glared before he looked over Felix's shoulder and smirked, "Not every hero." He said coyly.
Argos raised a brow of confusion before he turned his head and saw Kagami holding her training sword with angry tears in her eyes, "Kagami?" Argos said in confusion.
Kagami glared hard at him, "Not Kagami. Longg, Bring the Storm!" She called out as she transformed and brought out her dragon sword, "I am Ryuko!" She declared.
Argos gasped in shock by that. "What?! I thought I was the only one!" He exclaimed.
"You monster! You made everyone I love disappear!" Ryuko exclaimed as she held her dragon sword.
Argos merely smiled and raised his hand to snap, and Ryuko ready herself in a stance while Dragold stood in front of Ryuko in protection. "Not everyone." He said as he snapped his fingers.
But Ryuko didn't disappear, instead Adrien appeared in front of them, which made Ryuko and Dragold gasped. "Ryuko? Dragold?" Adrien asked in surprise as he look around, noticing Argos and Paris is deserted with no one around. "Felix? What happened?" He asked, not sure what happened.
"Adrien, transform hurry!" Dragold called out. "Argos has snapped the whole team out of existence!"
"What?" Adrien said in horror as he realized that the whole team included Chloe, Nino and, "Marinette?" He whispered before turned to Argos with a glare, "Plagg, Claws out!" He called.
Argos gasped as he saw Adrien turned into Cat Noir as he glared at him and drew his staff. "Adrien? You're…?" Argos asked in shock.
Cat Noir raised his staff with a glare, "Felix!" He roared as he jumped and aimed his staff at Argos before he jumped away and he hit the ground, "Felix, what did you do?!" He demanded.
"I created a better world, my favorite cousin." Argos said while gesturing to the deserted city. "A world where you're free."
"What?" Cat Noir asked in shock.
"Everything I did, I did for you." Argos said while the three remaining heroes glared at him. "For weeks, I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to set you free. To set you and Kagami free. To set us all free." He explained. "And offer us a new world where no one can tell us what we can or can't do! And voila! We're free and we're together, with a certain stow away in the way!" He finished, while gesturing to Dragold. "Aren't you incredibly happy?"
Ryuko growled with tears in her eyes as she charge at Argos' in rage nd she swung her sword, "Thunder Dragon!" She called as her sword was covered in electricity as Argos managed to dodge.
"Okay, you're definition of freedom is really insane, you know that?!" Dragold exclaimed. "If you think snapping humanity out of existence means freedom, then you're no better than Monarch!" He declared.
"I am nothing like him!" Argos yelled as he threw his fan at Dragold, which he blocked with his sword as Dragold joined Ryuko in the fight.
"You're out of your mind, Felix!" Cat Noir added as he join in as Argos dodge the three heroes. "You can't do this! You've gotta bring those people back!"
"And you better bring them back, now!" Dragold finished as they kept clashing with Argos, but he manage to block and doge each strikes.
"What's there not to like? What's the problem?" Argos questioned as he flipped over a lamppost. "I thought you wanted to be free from your parents? Look! Isn't this great? Just one last person and it will be just the three of us. We have everything we need to be happy." He declared with a smile.
"Happy? You call this happy?!" Dragold yelled.
"When there's no one left?!" Ryuko questioned.
"How can we be happy without our friends?" Cat Noir questioned with tears. "Without my father? Without the girl I love?"
"You really think I'm that evil?" Argos asked with a brow.
Dragold then realizes something as he turned to the two remaining heroes. "He doesn't know that Marinette is Ladybug or that he snapped out of existence. That must be why he put her in the garbage can, to protect her from the red sun." He whispered to them.
The two widen their eyes, "Which means…" Ryuko started slowly.
Cat Noir get what they're saying as he gave a glare. "Alright, Felix, if you aren't that evil, then proved to me Marinette's okay." He ordered while aiming his staff at Argos.
"Trust me, you won't regret." Argos assured as he lead them the way while the three remaining heroes followed.
"I know he won't have Marinette in there, because she was snapped." Cat Noir growled.
"Yeah, but Marinette got herself snapped on purpose when her Lucky Charm didn't appear." Dragold said, which made the two heroes look at him in shock.
"Wait, she had no lucky charm?" Ryuko asked in shock.
"No. That was when Ladybug said only one who could undo all this is Argos," Dragold said in thought, "And I think I understand why."
"She planned this." Cat Noir said in surprise before he gave a small smile. "That's my bugaboo." He said.
"Now, Felix will think he snapped Marinette by accident, since he doesn't know she's Ladybug, his powers won't bring her back, since he's snapped her away as Ladybug, not Marinette," Dragold said as they are near the spot where Marinette was in. "Okay, are we there yet, Argos? Because I don't see a baker girl anywhere." He said, feigning annoyance.
"Keep your necklace on, your highness. I put her in here so she wouldn't be bathed in the red sun." Argos said as he lifted up the dumpster's lid. "Ta-da!" He exclaimed before they saw nothing but boxes and bags. "Huh? That's weird." He said, thinking he accidentally snapped Marinette when she left the trash.
"Well, where is she?" Dragold asked with his arms crossed.
Argos ignored him as he snapped his fingers, but Marinette didn't reappear as he gasped in shock. "I don't understand! She should come back!" He said while feeling anxious as he walked backwards and snapped his fingers many times, but Marinette still hasn't appeared. "Something's wrong. I can usually bring back whoever I want but it's like she- she's nowhere, like she's completely gone!" He said frantically.
"What about Nino? Or my other friends?" Cat Noir asked with a glare.
"Let me try!" Argos said as he snapped his fingers, but they didn't appear either as he kept snapping and was getting more scared. "I don't know what's wrong! I can't bring any of them back! It's like they've disappeared completely! I'm sorry, Adrien." He pleaded with his hands up.
"Sorry? You're sorry?!" Ryuko questioned as tears kept coming.
"You're not even in control of your own power! Don't you realize what you've done?!" Cat Noir tearfully cried out.
"Argos, bring everyone back. Now!" Dragold ordered in a roar, which made a small gust of wind blow out as his eyes turned into glowing slits.
Argos and the two heroes flinched from his outburst and saw his eyes as Argos lowered his head in defeat. "Okay, okay, alright. I never meant to hurt any of you." He said as he snapped his fingers, which caused every single person in Paris, and the Miraculous Heroes, back into existence.
Kagami, Daniel and Adrien then detransformed as they glared at Argos. "And Marinette and the others? Where are they?!" Kagami demanded.
"Where's Marinette and our friends?! What did you do with them!?" Adrien demanded.
Just then, coming out from the corner, they saw their friends, in their human forms, coming out from behind a corner. "Kagami! Adrien! Daniel!" Marinette called out as she and the others rush to them.
"We're right here!" Nino called out with a smile.
"Guys!" Adrien, Daniel and Kagami exclaimed as they rushed into a group hug in relief.
"I was so scared." Adrien said to Marinette.
"Yeah, it felt weird being snapped out of existence like that." Kara said while rubbing her head.
Daniel smiled as he hugged Chloe before giving a serious look. "Alright, Felix, time to hand over the Pea-where'd he go?!" He asked as he turned around to find Argos was gone.
The others all looked around, finding no trace of Felix. "Okay, for a dude so messed up, he sure can boogie." Kim commented.
"One quick question, what are we gonna do about that?" Jacob asked while pointing to the Red Moon. "Because I don't think Felix gave us the amok."
Just then at that moment, the Red Moon disappeared, which made them all surprise by that. "Huh, that's convenient." Nathaniel said with a brow.
"Looks like Felix undid his Sentimonster." Rose said in surprise.
"But he still got away with the Peacock Miraculous!" Marc reminded.
"Yeah, and I still owe him for handing Roarr over to Monarch!" Juleka said while cracking her knuckles.
"Forget it, guys. He's not worth it this time." Marinette said seriously.
Daniel nodded as he look at the night sky, "Besides, I got a feeling, we'll get another crack at him soon." He said as they stood there for a moment. "And when he shows his face again, we'll get that Peacock back and teach him what happens when you snap someone's friends out of existence." He said.
The heroes nodded as they all stood there, knowing that they'd see Felix again.
The next day, Chloe and Daniel are at the pier while Daniel stood close to her in concern. "Dan, I'm fine. You don't have to stick that close to me." Chloe said with a small chuckle.
"Sorry. But after what Felix did yesterday, it still shook me up from how he snapped everyone out of existence like that." Daniel said as he looked out in worry, "I had no idea what he did to you, I had job to protect you and for the first time in long while I felt like…I failed." He said solemnly.
Chloe saw her boyfriend's expression as she place a comforting hand on his own. "But you didn't. Marinette planned this when her Lucky Charm didn't appear. And you were the only one other than Kagami who didn't get snapped. You did your best, and you three manage to convince Felix to bring us back." She comforted.
"I know, but it's still hard." Daniel said in worry as he looked at his amulet. "I was lucky that my Miraculous protected me from Felix's, but to see all my friends and family, the ones I care for, to be just gone, it still hurt that I couldn't even use my powers to save you without risking that I could've…" He trailed off as his hand trembled.
Chloe saw this as she quickly held his hand. "Don't think like that. Anything could've happened without you knowing, you did all you could. Even heroes made mistakes, but from those mistakes, you'll learn from them and become better. Never let that stop you from doing the right thing." She said comfortably with a warm smile.
Daniel smiled as he held Chloe's chin, "You really know how to pick a friend back up when they're down," He said warmly.
"I had a good teacher," Chloe said with a warm smile as the two kept walking as they held hands. "You know, from what I saw, Marinette and Adrien have come a long way in their relationship. And maybe I should follow their example to what Marinette said at the Diamonds Dance, I'm going got have a heart-to-heart with my mother, to tell her what I think is right." She said.
"Wow, that's a pretty big step for you." Daniel said with a proud smile. "Takes a lot of guts."
"Well, Marinette did showed me when she snuck into the Diamonds Dance to see Adrien, even though it was Felix the whole time, but either way, it showed me how far you can go for the one you love." Chloe said with a smile. "So, I'm gonna do the same." She finished.
Daniel smiled at Chloe. "I'm proud of you, Chloe. You really are becoming your own person." He said with a warm smile, "Well then, I guess I should wish you luck, huh?" He said, offering his hand.
Chloe however, grinned grabbed his hand and pulled him to her as she gave a surprise kiss to the lips, which surprised Daniel before he returned it. They enjoy it for a moment before they broke apart, giving warm smiles and blushing as Chloe walked off, but she stopped and turned to Daniel.
"What? You think I leave with just a hand shake?" Chloe asked with a smirk, "Ridiculous, utterly Ridiculous." She joked as she walked off. "See you later, Dan." She waved.
"See ya." Daniel said as he watch Chloe go with a fond smile.
Huanglong then floated next to him, "You've chosen wisely, young Master." He said with a smile.
"Yeah, Huang. She's something else." Daniel said in stunt as he continue his way with a small smile as he walked back home.
While Felix manage to get away with the Peacock Miraculous, he at least undid his damage and did some good with it in the end and now the team would be ready the next time they see him.
