At school, the Zodiac Team were just wrapping up their class and were just leaving since the school day was over. "You know, even after what just happened at the Diamonds Dance, things have been pretty calm," Sam commented.
"Yeah, there hasn't been an akumatization attack for days already," Kara said with a small smile. "Feels good to take a break from these things."
"Calm before the storm guys, I get the feeling the next attack is right around the corner," Daniel said, warning them they shouldn't get too comfortable. "And let's not forget, Felix is still out there and still has the Peacock Miraculous, we gotta keep our guard up in case he strikes back."
"After being snapped out of existence, I'm gonna pluck every one of that ordinary fowl's feathers!" Jacob said while smashing his fists together.
"That's a bit extreme," Molly said with a bit of concern. "I mean, won't it be like hurting the Kwami, Duusu? I mean, like Nooroo that Monarch has, she's been through much before." She pointed out.
"Well, Kwamis don't feel pain," Daniel said while in thought. "At least I hope they don't. I mean, other than them being hungry after use of their powers, I'm not entirely sure what would happen in Miraculous form."
"Well, it won't matter, 'cause next time we see Argos he's gonna be in for it and so will Monarch." Sam declared.
"But it's still a matter of finding Argos." Kara reminded them. "Because in case you've forgotten, Sam, he's been off the grid since the Red Moon incident. And we don't even know where to look other than Paris or somewhere in London." She stated.
"Don't worry, he'll find us," Daniel assured them while giving a serious look. "From what I'm feeling, he's closer than we think."
"From what Marinette and Adrien told us, you never know when he'll pop up," Molly said in concern, wondering what Felix was planning next as they walked out of the school.
Though none of them realized Argos was watching them from the roof of the school as he jumped away.
A little bit later, Daniel and Chloe are walking by as they chat. "Still wondering about Felix?" Chloe asked.
"I'd be lying if I said he wasn't on my mind. We were this close to getting the Peacock Miraculous back, but the second we turned back, he was gone." Daniel said in thought. "But before he left, he seemed pretty upset and even scared thinking he actually accidentally killed someone."
"I guess he thought he couldn't control his powers and upset to hurt the ones he cared for." Chloe guessed. "Maybe he's not as bad as everyone thinks."
"Well, he was only doing that to set Adrien free, and Kagami too for some reason. Though he didn't account on me being immune to his Miraculous power." Daniel stated. "His heart may be in the right place, but his methods are whacked." He added while putting on a face.
Chloe recognized it, "What are you thinking?" She asked.
"I'm thinking that he has the potential to be good, he said he wanted to make a free world for everyone, and when he mentioned that he has nothing to lose, I think he's in deeper pain than we think," Daniel said in thought.
"Whoa, whoa. You're not thinking about making him part of the team, are you?" Chloe asked her boyfriend.
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. But still, Felix could be a good member of the team and a powerful ally against Monarch." Daniel said looking confident, "It's something Huanglong told me, the best way to defeat your enemy is to make them your friend."
Chloe look in thought as she sigh. "Well, you're not wrong. But still, I'm not sure I could trust Felix after what he did. And I doubt the others would after he handed their Miraculous to Monarch." She said uncertainly.
Daniel turned to her with a determined look, "Maybe, but if there's a chance to end this without a fight I have to try," He told her, "The next time I see Argos, I'm going to talk to him, it's up to you if you support me in this or not."
Chloe looked at him in thought, seeing that her boyfriend was right as she sighed. "I was a mean girl before you helped me turn it all over. So I guess Argos at least deserves the chance to do the same. I trust you, Daniel." She said to him.
Daniel smiled at her before they saw Kagami's self-driving car driving by. "Hey, isn't that Kagami's car?" He asked in surprise.
"Yes. And from the looks of…" Chloe cuts herself off as she looks over the rooftops. "Uh, Daniel." She said while pointing up.
Daniel followed where Chloe was pointing and looked up as he saw a familiar blue anti-hero on a rooftop, "Argos?!" He said in shock.
"Looks like he's back already!" Chloe exclaimed before they saw Argos jump onto the Tsurugi's Car. "What's he doing?" She asked in worry.
"I don't know, but-" Danel was cut off when Argos tore the roof of the car off, which caused it to swerve to a stop and took out Kagami as he leaped away. "He's got Kagami!" He exclaimed.
"You gotta go after him!" Chloe exclaimed as Daniel nodded and then ran off.
"Contact the others, and tell them to look everywhere!" Daniel called as he ducked into anally, "Huanglong, Heaven's Ascend!" He called, transforming, and then jumped in the direction Argos was going.
Chloe turned back to Kagami's car as it transformed into a giant robotic horse with Ikari Gozen, armed with a bow, riding on top of it. "Let the power of my arrows put our descendants back on the straight path of their destiny!" Ikari Gozen declared she held her fist, "Sublimation, I am granting myself the power of a super sense of smell." She said as her fist glowed orange and put it to herself as she pulled out a white peacock feather and placed it in front of her horse, which sniffed it and turned its head in Argos' direction, "Now I can follow your trail Argos!" She declared.
Monarch's mask appeared over her eyes, "Matargi Gozen, seize the Ladybug, Cat Noir, the Zodiac Team, their allies, and Argos's Miraculous! Then our children will live happily ever after." Monarch ordered.
Matargi Gozen gave a smile. "Well-spoken." She nodded as she turned in a direction. "Yee-ah!" She ordered her horse as it galloped off.
Chloe went wide-eyed from that. "Uh oh." She muttered as she dialed Sabrina and her best friend answered, "Sabrina, you need to tell everyone to transform! We've got double trouble!" She said.
Meanwhile, with Kagami, Argos carried her to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Argos opened the door and walked into the room, "Let go of me, right now!" Kagami ordered as Argos placed her down on the couch, but Kagami quickly jumped to her feet as Longg came out from her pocket. "Longg, Bring the-" She was about to transform but Argos raised his hands.
"Stop!" Argos called out as he detransformed back into Felix as Duusu appeared beside him. "I'm not your enemy. I just wanna talk to you." He explained.
Kagami looked at Felix in suspicion, still ready to transform as she turned to Longg, "What do you think?" She asked her Kwami.
"Well, he transformed back the second you were about to transform, and Duusu is next to him, so, I say let the boy speak," Longg suggested.
Kagami nodded. "What is it you want to tell me, Felix?" She questioned cautiously, in case this was a trick, she would transform and bring the elements down on him.
"I-I don't know." Felix honestly said. "But ever since I saw you, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I felt that you and I, were the same." He said, which made Kagami surprised by that. "We have so much in common. And yet, you're also so different. I've never met someone like you."
"We don't even know each other." Kagami pointed out.
"I know you. I've been following you nonstop." Felix explained with a small smile.
"Even better!" Kagami exclaimed in disbelief at what he said as she planted her hand on her face. "You follow me, you spy on me, and now you've kidnapped me to get to know me?" She questioned in disbelief.
Felix gave a sheepish expression as Duusu floated to her, "I know, isn't just so romantic?" She said excitedly.
Longg facepalmed himself at Duusu's naivety personality. "Duusu, you have more to learn about love." He muttered.
Kagami kept giving a look to Felix as she crossed her arms. "You are utterly incompetent at social relations, Felix." She said, while Felix kept silent as she and Long sighed in annoyance. "You can't take someone away against their will." She explained.
"And following and spying isn't much better, young man. And it's not romantic, Duusu, it's just insanity." Longg pointed out.
"Sorry. I won't do it again." Felix apologized.
"And I guess I've been out of touch for some time," Duusu said sheepishly while rubbing her head.
"I just wanted to protect you from your mother, Kagami," Felix said while giving a serious look. "She can't talk to you like that."
Kagami gasped softly in surprise at what Felix said, since finding out that Felix was spying on her, he must've heard what her mother said to her in the car, which explains why he kidnapped her.
With Jacob and Molly, the two are having some ice cream together as they sat on the bench while Molly leaned close to Jacob.
"Nothing better than having some ice cream with the gal of your dreams," Jacob said with a smile.
"It does feel good to just be on a date without worrying about Akumas for a change, Jacob," Molly said with a small smile before she frowned. "You know, I was pretty worried about you when Felix snapped you out of existence, For a second I thought you-"
Jacob stopped her with a finger to her lips, "But I wasn't. He undid the damage and I'm still here." He said with an assuring smile. "So don't you worry, I'm not going anywhere."
Molly gave a small smile as she hugged Jacob. "Just remember to get out of there before something bad happens. Or let me know when something happens." She said.
"Hey, we're heroes, it's an occupational hazard," Jacob said with a slight chuckle. "I'll try, but no promises."
Molly laughed too as she and Jacob smiled at each other. They leaned in close and closed their eyes but just before they could kiss, they heard a loud thump and turned to see a Matari Gozen surveying the area and then jumped away.
The two looked shocked by what they saw and sat there in silence. "Was that…" Molly started.
"Yeah, she's back," Jacob said in shock before their phones beeped as they got a text from Chloe that said Argos was back, he had Kagami, Matari Gozen was on the hunt, and Daniel was on the move already. "Well, leave it to villains to ruin the moment." He commented in disappointment.
Molly just smiled and stood up, "Come on, we've got work to do." She told her boyfriend.
"Yeah, a hero's work never done," Jacob said as he stood up as well and they both ran off to find a place to transform.
Dragold tracked Argos to the top of the Eiffel Tower and climbed up to the viewing room. "Argos! Your mine!" He declared kicking down the door and found Felix and Kagami standing there.
"Wait! Dragold! I'm not here for a fight!" Felix exclaimed, raising his hands to show him he meant no harm. "I just wanted to talk to Kagami and free her!" He quickly said.
Dragold stopped himself as he was about to punch Felix, but he stopped and looked at him in surprise. "Wait, you kidnapped her just so you can talk to her?" He asked in surprise.
"I know it sounds ridiculous but I promise, I don't want a fight," Felix said as Dragold looked at Kagami.
"He said the same thing to me, and I could sense he was telling the truth," Kagami explained as Dragold nodded.
Just then, the three heard footsteps running at the side of the tower. "Well, you better be quick, because we've got company," Dragold said as the three all looked out the door and saw four Matari Gozens outside. "Ikari Gozen?" He said in shock.
"Kagami, don't move. I've come to save you from that good-for-nothing." Matari Gozen said before Ladybug, Cat Noir and the rest of the heroes appeared.
"We've come to save you, Kagami!" Ladybug exclaimed.
"And way to ruin the moment of peace, Ikari Gozen!" Hydrake exclaimed in annoyance.
"I am Matari Gozen now!" Matari Gozen yelled out.
"Kagami, you can't transform with your mother around," Dragold whispered, knowing with Tomoe here, she'll see Kagami is Ryuko and Monarch will as well.
"But I can, since she already knows who I am. I'm the only one who can save her," Felix said to Kagami as he grabbed her hand. "Duusu, spread my feathers!" He called, transforming into Argos again.
"Felix wait" Dragold called before Argos grabbed Kagami and leapt off the Eiffel Tower and into the city again, "Dang it!"
The Matari Gozens then followed after Argos and Kagami as they jumped off the Eiffel Tower. "After them!" Carapace called out as he and the other heroes jumped after them while two of the Matari Gozen Clones ran after Felix.
"Half of the team will take these two, the rest will take care of the other going after Felix and Kagami!" Dragold called out as he, Ladybug, Purple Tigress, Phoenix, Hydrake, Rooster Bold, Ms. Hound, Pigella, and Viperion chased after the two Gozens.
"Teach that feather brain a lesson, guys!" Caspian called out before the other half of the heroes blocked the Venom arrows from the clone's bow.
"This is what heroes do? Not only did you all help that monster escape, but now you're all going to fight me?" One of the Matari Gozen questioned while still firing at the heroes.
"A mother trying to save her daughter?" The second clone added.
Carapace blocked another strike as he spoke through the comms. "You know, guys, when you think about it, they're not wrong," He said.
"How do you mean?" Hydrake asked.
"Well, we all want the same thing," Cat Noir explained as he split his staff in two and spun them around in both hands as makeshift shields.
"So if we let them save Kagami, we could seize the opportunity to get Felix's Miraculous back," Pegasus added while they kept blocking the Venom arrows.
With Dragold's group, they are blocking their clone Gozens as well. "That's too risky. Besides, working with Matari Gozen means we'd be doing Monarch's dirty work!" Dragold stated as deflected one arrow with his swords, "Besides even if we helped her, she'd stab us in the back the moment our backs are turned and steal our Miraculous!" He added as Ladybug was hit and crashed into a building before she fell to the floor.
And then a portal opened up and another clone appeared. "Mrs. Tsurugi, reject the Megakuma and let us return your daughter safely back to you," Ladybug said to her.
"If you're not with me, you're against me!" Matari Gozen yelled to Cat Noir's group and fired a clout arrow at one of the beams, which caused it to tumble down on the group.
"Cat Noir, we need an exit!" Terrapin called out.
"On it, Cataclysm!" Cat Noir summoned his power and slammed down on the ground below them, which caused it to break and they fell into the sewers below.
They landed in the sewer tunnels before Caspian noticed something that Cat Noir was missing. "Where's your staff?" He asked.
Cat Noir looked at himself and noticed he didn't have his staff on him. "Aw nuts, I must've dropped it. No matter, let's go!" He called out as they all ran down the tunnel.
With Dragold's group, they are dodging the Matari Gozens' attacks while trying to grab her weapon, but every time they tried to get close to one, another clone came to its aid and the other whacked them off.
Dragold dodged another arrow as he saw Argos and Kagami across the street, "Dang it! We can't fight an Akuma and get Kagami away from Argos at the same time!" He realized.
"We're about to lose him!" One of the clones called out as the other jumped away before the first one blocked the hero's path.
"Oh, we don't have time for this!" Phoenix exclaimed as she turned to Dragold. "Dragold, you go after Felix and Kagami, we'll handle the Mother in shining armor here!" She instructed.
"I'm on it!" Dragold nodded and ran off after the other clone is heading to where Felix and Kagami were while the others held off the other clone.
In the sewers, Cat Noir's group entered a storage locker room, "This would be a good time to Detransform." Pegasus said.
"Yeah, because from what Chloe said, the second that horse smells an item of the owner, it will track you," Terrapin said.
"Good call. Claws in." Cat Noir said and transformed back into Adrien while the others kept watch outside and saw Matari Gozen at the side of the sewers.
Back on the surface, Argos and Kagami are hiding in an alleyway while Argos keeps watch and sees Matari Gozen close by.
"You know, if you leave me here, my mother will calm down," Kagami suggested. "She'll stop attacking you,"
"I'm not here to return you to your mother, but to set you free from her," Argos said and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"I don't need you to set me free," Kagami said and got Argos' hand off her shoulder. "I can very well set myself free," She stated and flipped Argos over her shoulder. "If I were you, I wouldn't stick around. She doesn't seem to like you, and don't think that I've forgotten what you did to Longg and the other Kwamis,"
"She's not wrong," Dragold's voice called out and landed behind them. "You already made a lot of enemies when you traded Kagami's and the others' Miraculous to Monarch, Felix," He reminded him.
Argos stood up and approached them, "And I feel terrible about that, really I do. It had only occurred to me that my actions had done the very opposite of what I wish to do: Ensuring that no creature is another being's prisoner." He said regretfully.
Dragold and Kagami were surprised by what Felix said before they heard footsteps and turned to see Matari Gozen behind them. "You're not going anywhere, Kagami. Venom," She called and aimed her Venom-powered arrow at her.
"Kagami!" Dragold called out before Argos quickly blocked it and lifted Kagami bridle style.
Argos then turned to Dragold, "Follow me!" He said before jumping away.
Dragold was again surprised by Argos' actions before he shrugged and jumped after them. "You're mother doesn't seem to like you either, Kagami!" Dragold commented as he ran next to Argos.
Kagami was shocked by what her mother almost did to her. "My mother pretends to come to my rescue and then shoots arrows at me?" She questioned in hurt.
"You've never met my father. He was a thousand times worse," Argos said, which made them surprised by that.
"Wow, if your father was worse than Mrs. Tsurugi, I'm glad I never met him," Dragold commented.
They jump on a rooftop before Argos brings out his feather fan and breaks it in half. "But don't you need it to fight?" Kagami asked in surprise that Felix broke his only weapon.
"Fighting's no longer my priority. All I care about is your safety, Kagami," Argos said as he picked each piece of his fan and then started throwing and putting them in different directions.
"What are you doing?" Dragold asked.
"Since Matari Gozen can track my scent as Argos, I'm gonna leave her as many trails for her to follow," Argos explained before throwing a piece into a pigeon's tail and it flew off.
"I'll admit, that's actually pretty clever, Argos," Dragold complimented with an impressive smile, "But we can't stay outside. We gotta go underground where she will have trouble finding us," He stated.
"Agreed. If we're too exposed up here," Kagami said in agreement.
"Then let's go," Argos said as they got off the roof and entered the streets where they found a sewer hatch.
Dragold opened it and entered the first, then Kagami as the two looked up and saw Felix taking out a pocket watch and leaving it out on the road, and closed the hatch. "Fold my feathers," Argos whispered as he transformed back into Felix and joined the two of them.
"Let's get a move on. We can't stay in one place," Dragold stated as the three walked across the sewers with Dragold leading with his sword ready for anything.
With Cat Noir's group, they are still hiding in the locker room when a Matari Gozen walks past them. Caspian sticks a glove on a rod outside for a moment before peaking out and looking to both sides, "Phew," He sighed in relief and turned to the others, "Robo-Mama on a horse is gone." He told them.
Adrien nodded and turned to his Kwami. "Plagg, claws out." He said and transformed back into Cat Noir.
"Great, let's go." King Monkey said and they all exited the room and rushed off.
Back with Dragold, Kagami, and Felix, they kept walking until they were near the end of the sewer tunnel while Felix took off his cufflinks. "Hey, Felix, there is something we're wondering," Dragold said while breaking the silence as Kagami nodded in agreement.
"And that is?" Felix asked.
"Well, you have the Miraculous of the Peacock. Why don't you create a Sentimonster to get us out of here?" Kagami asked.
Felix frowned and stopped for a moment as he turned to them, "First of all, don't call them that," He said before he tossed his cufflinks to the edge of the tunnel where they fell into the water. "I refuse to create a being to manipulate them, control them, abuse them, and end up destroying them." He explained while giving a sad look while looking at his hands.
Kagami and Daniel were surprised by his words. "But, you created a Senstimonster when you first reappeared, the Red Moon. Why are you against creating another now?" Dragold asked.
"When I did, I realized that I lost myself in my anger after I couldn't bring back your friends. And I created something that I shouldn't have and abuse it for my own gain." Felix explained sadly. "Just like how Monarch did when I handed the Miraculous and the Kwamis over to him without second thought."
Kagami and Dragold were now feeling sorry for him, never realizing that after the Red Moon, Felix was more scarred than he was before. "It sounds like you speak from experience," Dragold noted.
"Because I do," Felix said while looking out on the edge of the sewer tunnel. "When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them," He added before turning to Kagami with a small smile. "You're duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence." He explained before he looked down in shame. "To deprive them of that is monstrous."
Dragold and Kagami look at each other in sympathy and then at Felix as Kagami speaks. "Are you talking about yourself?" She asked solemnly.
Felix then turned to Kagami. "I'm talking about us." He answered.
Dragold watched the two look at each other, seeing a connection between them as he spoke. "Felix, just who are you exactly?" He asked with a raised brow.
Felix stood in silence, not sure how to answer that question. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He answered.
"Felix!" Ladybug's voice called out as the three turned and saw the team together.
"Let Kagami and Dragold go, give us back the Peacock Miraculous, or we'll turn you into the world's ugliest feathered pillow!" Hydrake warned as they all pointed their weapons at Felix.
Felix was about to transform again before Dragold jumped between of them, "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Take it easy!" Dragold said as Felix looked at him in surprise, "He's a friend!" He added.
The heroes were caught off guard by this, "He is?" Purple Tigress asked with a raised brow.
"I, I am?" Felix asked in surprise.
Dragold turned and smiled at him, "You are now," He said.
King Monkey then slid next to him, "But he kidnapped Kagami." King Monkey reminded in a not-so-quiet whisper.
"Felix was just trying to protect me," Kagami said in defense while standing in front of Felix. "He's like me. He doesn't know how to express himself. Everyone is wrong about him. Including me." She said while looking at Felix with a warm smile, which he returned the gesture.
Dragold turned to his team, "We've been so focused on getting the Peacock Miraculous back that, we never considered another much easier method of getting it." He said before turning to Felix, "By recruiting its holder with it." He stated as Felix looked surprised.
"Uh. Do any of you guys understand what's going on?" Cat Noir asked his friends.
"I'm not sure of anything anymore," Ladybug said while looking at her lucky charm which was a pair of scissors. "Dragold, are you saying you want Felix a part of our team?" She asked.
"Why not? He's a better holder of the Peacock Miraculous and from what I learned, he just wanted to have a free world," Dragold started. "Felix may have made some bad choices, but that's only because he never had anyone to help him make the right ones," He explained, which made Felix smile at him while the others were surprised by this.
And then, the Matari Gozen clones all appeared behind them. "You're going to give me back my daughter and relinquish all Miraculous!" Matari Gozen ordered.
"She found us," Pegasus said.
"Even in the sewers, her scent of smell is impressive." King Monkey commented.
Matari Gozen and her clones then aim their weapons at Felix and Kagami, but the heroes all stand in front of them and block their attacks.
Hydrake then looks at his team. "So what's the plan to get Matari Gozen Akuma and Miraculous back? We can't keep this up forever." He pointed out.
Dragold looked to Felix and then to the others, "We gotta get Felix out of here first, if you guys can get her clones together then I can extract the Miraculous of the Mouse right out of her." He instructed.
They all nodded as Ladybug turned to Kagami, "Kagami, take this. We're counting on you," She said, giving her the scissors as Kagami nodded in understanding.
"Pegasus, get Felix out of here. We'll cover you." Dragold spoke next.
"On it." Pegasus nodded as the rest of them charged at Matari Gozen and her clones.
Kagami turned to Felix. "Trust them." She said to him.
Felix looked at Kagami and gave a nod before giving another to Pegasus, which he returned. "Voyage!" Pegasus exclaimed, opening a portal as the two went through it before the arrows could hit them as the portal closed.
The heroes are then circled around Matari Gozen and her clones as they tugged on Ladybug's yo-yo, securing them in place.
"Dragold, now's your chance!" Pigella exclaimed.
Dragold nodded and got in his extraction stance and thrust his hands forward. "Miraculous Extraction!" He called out.
Matari Gozen and her clones then started to glow white as their energy was leaving them and Monarch's Mask appeared as it started flickering.
In Monarch's lair, Monarch clutched his head while he screamed in pain. "Not again!" He yelled and he fell to his knees while the ring of the Mouse Miraculous started flickering.
In Mullo's cage, it started glowing as the Mouse Kwami gave a big smile. "This mouse is now out of the house!" She exclaimed as she and her Miraculous disappeared into a flash of light as Monarch steadied himself.
Back in the sewers, Matari Gozen and her clones had white energy draining from them as it shot out of them, forming back into one Matari Gozen and Mullo, and the Coin Pendant Miraculous came flying off as Dragold caught them.
"Mouse Miraculous and Kwami secured!" Dragold exclaimed as Matari Gozen weakly dropped her bow weapon. "Kagami, now!"
Kagami ran up to the bow and sniped the string as the Megakuma flew out of it as Ladybug opened up her yo-yo. "No more evildoing for you, Megakuma. Time to de-evilize!" She called out, tossing her yo-yo and catching the Megakuma. "Gotcha! Bye-bye, little butterfly." She said as the butterfly flew away and tossed her lucky charm up. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
The magical ladybugs then repaired the damage Matari Gozen had caused and she turned back into Tomoe as Ladybug opened up her yo-yo and brought out the Matari Gozen charm as Kagami helped her mother up and gave her sparing stick to her.
Ladybug then walked up to them. "Mrs. Tsurugi, this magical charm will remind you that, in case of a problem, Monarch will never be a good ally. You can, however, always count on us," She said, to which Tomoe gave a small smile.
"Anyway we better get out of here, we still have a Peacock to catch," Hydrake said.
"But first," Dragold said as he raised his fist with a smirk, which the heroes all understood as they did the same.
"Pound it." They all said before they all exited the sewers to catch up with Pegasus and Argos.
A bit later, they all made it to where Pegasus said they would be as they all appeared on the rooftop where they saw him and Argos.
"Glad you all made it," Pegasus said while gesturing to Argos. "Argos didn't even move from this spot the whole time we were here."
They all look at Argos, who is standing there with a wave and sheepish smile. "I want you to trust me, so I'm doing what is right," Argos said with a small shameful look.
The others were all suspicious about Argos before Dragold walked up to him with a small smile. "And what choice is that, Felix?" Dragold said.
Argos gave a small frown from that as he took a breath. "Fold my feathers." He said, detransforming back into Felix and as he reached for his miraculous, hesitating for a second before he sighed and it took off, looking at it longingly. "I guess you all wanted this back, huh?" He asked, offering the brooch to Dragold.
Daniel looks at the Peacock Miraculous before he pushes it back to Felix. "Keep it. I think you are the true holder of the Peacock Miraculous. I meant what I said, you wanted to do good and we're gonna show you how." He said.
Felix was surprised by that as he turned to the other heroes, who were a bit skeptical at first, but they trusted Dragold as they nodded. "Thank you, Dragold," Felix said to him. "Spread my feathers." He said and transformed back into Argos.
"You're welcome. But the surprise isn't over yet." Dragold said as he turned to Pegasus. "Mind opening a portal to the Den, Pegasus?" He asked.
"Sure thing." Pegasus nodded. "Voyage!" He exclaimed opening another portal while gesturing it to his team. "Let's return to HQ, team."
They all nodded and they entered the portal while Argos, Ryuko, and Dragold were the last ones with the former looking nervous.
Ryuko then placed a hand over Argos' shoulder. "It's okay. It might be awkward at first, but they'll warm up to you eventually." She assured.
"And trust us, if you give it a shot, you'll have tons of friends," Dragold added.
Argos nodded to them as they entered the portal as it closed.
At the other side the of portal, the other heroes all detransformed and went into the main room.
"Heaven's Descend," Dragold said as he transformed back into Daniel.
"Open sky," Ryuko said and transformed back into Kagami.
Argos was surprised by the surroundings as Kagami held his hand. "Come on, the others are waiting," Kagami said.
"Yeah, we need to let everyone know what's going on," Daniel added before turning back to Argos. "And just to be on the safe side, transform back again so the girls won't start throwing punches." He advised.
Argos nodded, "Fold my feathers," He said, transforming back into Felix as the rest of the Zodiac Team, Marinette and Adrien were all at the entrance.
"Well, be ready, because the others are all having doubts about this," Jacob warned.
"And Zoe, Mylene, and especially Alya will pounce the moment they see you," Marinette warned.
"Yeah, I knew that was coming," Felix said while rubbing his head.
"Well, Felix, it's time to face the music," Daniel said as he opened the door to the main room.
As they walked, Alya, Zoe, Chloe, and Mylene turned to them while the others had cautious expressions, "Hey guys! Ivan and the others just said you got the Mouse Miraculous back!" Mylene said excitedly.
"Yeah, and uh, we also have someone else with us," Adrien said as he turned and gestured to his cousin, which made them gasp.
Felix turned to face them, "Hello everyone," He greeted as the girls gasped and took defensive stances
"You!" Alya snarled as she grabbed Felix by the vest, "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't tear you apart?!" She demanded.
"Calm down, I'm not here to cause a scene," Felix quickly eased with his hands up.
"We let him in," Marinette said as she pushed her best friend back gently.
"What?!" Zoe asked as they walked over to their friends as Felix backed away, "But he's-" She started, gesturing to Felix.
"On our side now," Adrien answered, giving his cousin a look as Kagami stood next to him.
Ayla gave a scoff of disbelief, "Oh sure, Mr. I'm gonna stab the heroes right in the back, on our side?" She said with her arms crossed.
"Last time we trusted him, we lost all the Miraculous to Monarch," Chloe said, giving Felix a distrustful look, "Why should we trust him now?"
Marinette stepped forward, "Because, he saved our lives and helped us get the Mouse Miraculous back," she told them.
Daniel took out the Mouse Miraculous as Mylene gasped. "And trust us, Matari Dozen was a lot tougher than the last time we faced her," He said as he handed Mylene her Miraculous, "Felix risked his life to keep Kagami safe," he added.
The girls looked surprised and turned to Felix, "You did that?" Alya said, raising a brow, "Why?"
"Because I don't like how people get to tell others how they should or shouldn't let live their own lives or thinking they need to be controlled," Felix said as he clenched his fist while shutting his eyes in guilt. "I see Kagami as myself when her mother said she's not good enough. And that's when I couldn't just stand by with her being downcasted or sad, so I broke her out of her mother's vehicle and kept her away as long as I could."
The others gave Felix a dull look at his reasons, "Okay, saying it aloud it does sound rather extreme," Felix admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.
"But he's telling the truth," Kagami said while standing in front of Felix in support. "He's been trying to find a purpose after the red moon incident. And all he's done is to protect me when my mother was chasing him in madness,"
Adrien turned to the girls, "I trust her when she says Felix is a good guy," he told them.
"And I trust Adrien when he says we can trust him too," Marinette added in support.
Felix approached them, "I know after what I did, handing over all your miraculous and Kwamis to Monarch, you have no reason to trust me but I want to make amends by joining you in defeating that monster once and for all," he told them.
Daniel looked to the team, "We wouldn't have brought him here if we didn't think he was telling the truth. Even Duusu is telling the truth willingly." He explained as he gave a serious look, "But it's up to you guys on whether or not we can trust him,"
"Whichever you choose, I understand," Felix said with a sincere expression. "I made a terrible mistake giving Monarch such power, and I don't blame you for hating me for what I've done. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I just want you all to understand that I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble," he said as they all looked at him in conflict, "So please, let me make this right, I want to help."
The others still looked unsure as Mylene turned to them while feeding Mullo, "He did help them save Mullo, and everyone deserves a second chance," She said.
"And I know someone who can vouch for that," Sam said while looking towards Chloe. "I'm looking at you, Bourgeois." He added.
Chloe gave a light blush. "Well, you're not wrong." She said.
"Anyway, Felix is one of us, and apparently, he's been scarred emotionally after the whole red sun sentimonster incident," Kara noted after seeing Felix's expression.
"Yeah. I mean, when we face him, Kagami told us how he never created a Sentimonster…" Sam tried to speak before Felix cut him off.
"Can we not call them monsters, please?" Felix urged with a sad look, which made them surprise.
"Okay, we'll call them amoks then," Sam said with his hands raised. "Anyway, he hadn't created a single one the whole time when he kidnapped Kagami. So I think that's reason enough to trust him."
Marinette nodded, "Anyways, now that we know Kagami's mother is working with Monarch, we're that much closer to stopping him," she declared with a confident look.
"If we can save Pollen and Trixx, we'll finally have the whole team back together again," Alya declared, looking forward to when she'll become Rena Rouge again.
"And we have the Peacock Miraculous with us this time," Ivan added with a smile.
"And it's the one power that Monarch doesn't even have anymore, which gives us the edge," Sam added as he clenched his fist.
Molly put her hands to her hips, "But we still don't know who was it that taught Monarch how to create those Alliance rings to transfer the Miraculous powers," She said in thought.
"Felix, do you know anything about this?" Chloe asked.
"Uh, sorry. But when Monarch first appeared, I just assumed he was using the jewels, but the Alliance rings were a surprise for me too, once I learned they could transfer Miraculous powers." Felix honestly said with a shrug. "I have no idea who gave Monarch that information."
"Huh, he must've met this guy after you left then," Daniel said with a finger on his chin. "But maybe after we take Monarch down we can find out who this partner is and take him down too." He declared.
"But until then, we stick to getting Pollen and Trixx back and taking care of Monarch once and for all." Sam added.
"And by the way Felix, how did you get from London to Paris?" Max asked with a brow. "I mean, at that distance and for flight, it takes an awfully long time to get between here and there."
"Well, the Peacock Miraculous does more than just make creatures. It also gives me much more stamina and short-distance flight." Felix explained with a smile. "How did you all think I got here from London in a short time?"
"I was wondering about that," Kara commented.
"Wow, you know a lot more about the Peacock Miraculous than we do." Zoe said in amazement, "What's your secret?"
Felix's ringed hand clenched into a fist and trembled a bit, "Story for another time," He answered as he turned to Marinette, "So Ladybug, your plan?" He asked.
Marinette nodded, "Alright team, we're just two Miraculous away from taking the fight to Monarch," she said looking to each of them, "I'm gonna need a double effort from all of you if we're gonna get them back,"
Plagg flew out from Adrien's pocket and gave a grin and salute, "Absolutely Captain Ladybug, triple effort to be on it like the flakes on 100-year-old camembert," He declared as the teens cringed a bit at the thought.
Tikki gave Plagg a look, "Could you be any more disgusting?" She asked rhetorically.
"Absolutely," Plagg answered with a smirk.
"You're impossible, Stinky Sock," Tikki said with a bored expression.
Plagg flew next to her, "Why thank you, Sugarcube." He said.
Daniel shook his head. "You know, I get the feeling you two got your personalities from these guys." He commented to Adrien and Marinette while pointing to their Kawmis.
Adrien and Marinette blushed in embarrassment with chuckles while their Kwamis did the same. "Anyway, are you ready to do this thing?" Marinette asked as they all smiled or gave gestures of confirmation or excitement, "Alright Team, let's get Miraculous!" She announced with her fist raised up.
"Let's get Miraculous!" They all exclaimed with their fists raised as well, ready to take the fight to Monarch soon once they had all the Miraculous back.
